R/n: that wasn’t a plea, that was a warning. my second husband is this red that can turn giant and explodes on demand and the first husband is a blue mad scientist who put a tracker in my ass.

Kidnapper, stares at her: ...What?

[Suddenly there are distant booms at first the kidnappers thought it was explosions but then slowly realized they were footsteps. the whole building starts to shake as the steps get closer.

the kidnappers aimed their weapons at the door but are caught off guard when the roof is suddenly pulled off revealing a giant red alien glaring down at them with a much smaller blue alien sitting on his shoulder.]

Tregear, as his hand gives off electric energy: So...Who's first?~

[The other kidnappers all point at their stunned boss.]

Taiga, introducing his parents: This my dad Taro. My step-mom R/n and this is my other dad Tregear...

Rando: I'm sorry, what's the story here?

Taiga: What do you mean?

Rando: How does this work?

Taro: Me and Tregear are both gay for each other but Bi for R/n.

Tregear: And I don't like Taro.

R/n: It's not that hard to follow.

Taiga: No.

[R/n is cranky and pregnant (it's Taro's baby this time), She, Kirisaki and Taro are driving around at night and are stopped on the side of the road eating Ice-cream and French fries, when a cop suddenly pulls in behind them.

Kirisaki and briefly shifts into Tregear believing they were in possible danger, before R/n tells him to settle down, She’ll handle it... he frowns but returns to his human form, as the officer approaches the car.]

Officer, with their hand on their sidearm: Sorry for this, but we’ve been getting reports of a strange person in a vehicle similar to yours, trying to lure children away.

[R/n looks at the cop bewildered before looking at Taro and Kirisaki. both men shrug, they then look at their sleeping twin toddlers in the backseat; which was why they were out so late in the first place, then back at the cop annoyed.]

R/n: We got two under five and one right here *pats her belly* why the hell would we want someone else’s for?

[Kirisaki and Taro snort.]

Officer: Okay, my mistake, you guys drive safely now, and keep an eye out, A lot of freaks come out at night!

Kirisaki: Oh trust me, she knows.~

(Kirisaki briefly flickers into Tregear much to the officer's bewilderment, before Taro and R/n hiss at him to sit back down and they drive off.}

Doctor, to Taro: Alright dad, ready to see your babies?

Taro: Oh, I'm just the husband. *points Tregear* he's the father.

Doctor: Oh, I didn't know this was a surrogate situation I'll just update your ch-

Tregear, offended: R/n is not a surrogate!

Doctor, looking between the three confused: Um..

R/n: I'm their wife...

Doctor: Oh.

[Meanwhile in the waiting room. Taiga and Akari are stuck listening to a little girl tell her version of the stork delivering babies while rock-a- bye baby plays over the intercom.]

Little Girl in Waiting Room: ...and then Mommy kissed Daddy, and the angel told the stork-

(Taiga rolls his eyes and looks at his cousin Akari who shakes her head.)

Little Girl: ...And the stork flew down from heaven and left a diamond under a leaf in the cabbage patch, and the diamond turned into a baby!

Taiga: My parents are having babies, too.

(The music distorts a little)

Akari, stone faced: They had sex.

[Cue the little girl asking her parents what sex is? while the parents glare at Taro, Tregear and R/n who walk out of the exam room and collect the teens, when asked what that was about? Taiga and Akari told them what happened, Tregear laughed while Taro and R/n let out a small snicker before turning serious lecturing the teens .]

[R/n smells something burning and notices smoke coming from the driveway, Tregear and Taro wince as she looks outside.]

R/n: Wait...IS MY CAR ON FIRE?!

Taro, upon getting a sexy picture from Tregear and R/n: Haww...

[Suddenly the gyms temperature begins to rise at alarming rate, Cut to the hallway where everyone is going about their day.]

Random student, fanning themselves off: Phew...Does anyone else notice how hot it suddenly got dow-

[Just the boxing coach office window explodes sending everyone to a panic, M/n rushes in with a fire extinguisher and sprays it into the office at the source of the explosion.... A blushing Taro, who was completely unharmed and still gawking down at his phone, but now with smoke bellowing out of his mouth and little drool dribbling down his chin.]

M/n, Annoyed: Coach...Coach, *snaps his fingers* Ta-ro! 

Taro, startled and quickly hides his phone: Wha...Oh! Hey M/n, Wh-*Ahem* What’s up? (looks around the charred office.) Whoa! Jeez...What happened here?

{M/n eye twitches and he sprays Taro down with the extinguisher again. Needless to say. Tregear and R/n were asked not to send anymore naughty texts and pictures to Taro while he was working, as M/n and the other students didn’t want to think about what would’ve happened if Taro had been training with someone at the time.]

Tregear: I may have to murder our step-son...

R/n: Why?

Tregear: [Sends her a picture of some cupcakes he had bought today, with the frosting licked off of Every. Single. One. with a note left at the scene- Eat this 🖕- Taiga.]

R/n: 😨

R/n: I’ll get the shovel....

Taro: No! No shovels, lemme talk to him!

Random villain: You and your polycule haven't seen the last of me, Taro!

[Gets on their spaceship and starts flying away.]

R/n: they're not coming back are they?

Tregear: Not after the surprise I left on their ship...

[Cue the ship exploding in a burst of blue fireworks in the shape of Tregear's face.]

Tregear: The Surprise was a bomb!~

Taro: Yeah, we got that.

Tregear, to Taiga: Your room is filthy! Go clean it up.

Taiga: Hey the Law of Entropy states that things become messy over time. Who am I to interfere with physics?

Tregear: Unless energy is added.

Taro: What?

Tregear: Matter tends towards chaos unless energy from an outside source is added. Go add energy.

[Taiga pouts and walks passed R/n and his dad.]

Taro: *trying not to laugh.*

R/n: Don't fight Tregear with science, kid. You'll lose.

Taiga: I know that now!

[Taro finding out that R/n has been stealing organs out of the dead bodies from the college morgue for her and Tregear's experiments.]

Taro: What is it with mad scientists and dead bodies?

R/n: We're not... Mad Scientists.

Taro: Wait, why'd you emphasize 'mad'?

(R/n examining a clay decorative skull Taiga bought for Halloween; that looked a little too realistic, she gestures towards the plate on Taro's desk)

R/n: You mind?

Taro: Be my guest.

(goes to hand her the muffin on the plate assuming she wanted that.)

Kirisaki: No, no. She wants the plate, Taro. Not the muffin.

(Taro removes the muffin, R/n rests the skull on the plate for easier examination and ended up finding out not only was the skull real! But she and Kirisaki traced it back to the old college, that the new college was built on, it had a secret underground body selling ring a few decades back and tried to cover it up.

They either didn't do a good job covering their tracks or thought a enough time had gone by that nobody would ever find out.

Too bad they got found out by an alien teen innocently asking his earthling step-mom if the cheap green and orange painted skull he bought at the thrift store looked real enough?]

Taiga, traumatized by the news: You mean to tell me I carried some dead guy's head around for two weeks?

R/n: It was a woman's skull actually.

Taiga: Oh, even better. I'm gonna go take a bath in bleach now...

Rando teacher at parents night, to Tregear, R/n and Taro: And you are?

Taro: I'm Taro, Taiga's father.

Rando: And the two behind you?

Tregear: We're manifestation of this man's last two brain cells. I'm rational thought *gestures to R/n* and she's impulse control.

R/n: Hello.

Taro, chuckles: He's joking, they're my husband and wife.

R/n, stares at him wide eyed: What?! You ate three dozen cookies by yourself in one sitting?

Taro: Well, I didn’t eat all of them. I gave half a dozen to Taiga because he wanted some.

R/n: That was nice of you.

Taro: He came at me with those sad puppy dog eyes; he gets them from his mom.

R/n:...

[R/n having a flashback of Tregear silently watching her with pleading eyes as she eats a slice of cake until she relents a feeds him some.]

R/n: Yeah...Who'd you say was Taiga's mom again?

Tregear, in his head: Enemies to lovers, slow burn, angst with a happy ending, *sees Taro walk by* ...Poly in later chapters, 300k.

[Riku is at the park with his sister, when he sees Taro sitting on a bench.]

Riku: Oh, hey Taro! What are you doing here?

Taro: I just spending some time off with the twins, While R/n and Tregear are at work.

[The twins run up to their step-dad (Their names are Chika and Kaito.).]

Chika: Daddy, we gonna go get a drink. {points at drinking fountain/bubbler.]

Taro: Alright go for it.

Riku: Isn’t that fountain little tall for them?

Taro: It’s fine, just watch.

[They watch the twins stare at the fountain for a few seconds, before Kaito gets on all fours and lets his sister climb onto his back so she can reach the fountain, when Chika is done she does the same so her brother can also get a drink, they run back to Taro who high-fives them.]

Taro: That was some good teamwork you two!

[The twins call Taro 'daddy' and Tregear 'papa', R/n is mommy obviously.

As for the relationship with their older brother Taiga. He loves them to bits; even though he was adamant at first that he was going to hate them. Cos: "They're Tregear's kids..." but that all went away once Taro convinced him to hold them Taiga's heart melted and now spends his time playing with or spoiling the crap out of his younger siblings whenever he comes to visit. ]
