Aright, half the 'mask' is gone with one eye showing so Garou's fully awake there! 8'D Once again, going full kintsugi with the golden lines. I see Murata's gone for more solid black rather than shiny purple like on the prev vol cover too. Huh, interesting.

Also I'm surprised I didn't see anyone post the King front cover yet - when I first saw it I immediately started laughing cause it's the joke moment for his Ultimate Hellfire Burst Wave Motion Cannon (in truth: it's Garou~) But seeing the image extended under the sleeve to show how it's everyone's super hyped up imagination of him seals the deal even more for a funny joke cover surprise - lmao that's clever.

The irony of Saitama appearing on the chapter cover with the classic superhero three-point landing pose...only for in the ch’s actual context, it’s Garou who gets the stylish superhero landing after swiftly saving the day instead~

Which OPM comedy moment made you laugh the hardest????

Ah! That would be in the webcomic - King's Ultimate Hellfire Burst Wave Motion Cannon - when he was posturing everything all super dramatic to try and run away, and BS + GS were like 'holy shit! almost shat my pants' - that was epic, as the most hilarious bullshit moment I've ever seen. x'D (But Garou being his actual wave motion cannon in the manga to blast thru all the monsters in an epic blitz swoop, was also one of the best new twists, ahaha!)

Next was also in the wc when Saitama finally unceremoniously arrived to the Garou battle....like he was simply photobombing in all the panels like :D 'ayyy I'm here' while everyone else was all hardcore engaged in battle - ignoring him at every attempt to join in even, and how he was like :| 'how rude...' just omg...Saitama's antics there were priceless. The wc had so many fun humorous moments like this to enjoy.

The visceral satisfaction of ONE faithfully delivering exactly what I’d hoped to see most from Garou’s character.

From the list of speculative posts & tags wishing for scenarios that have now been granted in ch154 (THANK YOU Murata & ONE!)

On wanting Garou to awaken by protecting Bang and destroying FU:

prayer circle that what finally awakens garou is his urge/instinct to protect bang ;A; (1) [ONE has listened to my prayers, if not Tareo, then Garou’s connection to Bang is the only other satisfying choice to reawaken his heroism/humanity, because yes, Garou has always cared]

let it finally be his time to act on the feelings (in his heart) that actually drive him (2) [lmao which is even spelled out verbatim in the text] 

if garou 'awakens' protecting bang and brutally destroys FU as his comeuppance then...(3) [FU gets IMMEDIATELY destroyed!! Justice vindictively served~ Fantastic without any further harm done to Bang or Bomb either, whew!]

if Garou’s instinct to protect Bang (& destroy the monster threatening him) is the final trigger to awaken him to his senses, then...(4) [OH YEAAAAH!!! Garou’s feral protective rage over what’s truly important to him is what I love to see!]

On wishing Garou goes feral on the rest of the cadres:

i want to see him go feral on the cadres (5) and show just how much of a 'human monster' he wants to be...and how much he behaves as a heroic monster or monstrous hero~ to the relief and cheering (and dread?!) that the 'anti-saitama' has arrived to change the course of the chaos [Blitzed and massacred with such speed too! well now I am certainly CHEERING!]

...And being the one to (ironically) save the day:

it's going to be so funny if he just...fights all the cadres off RIGHT NOW??? to even more shock of the heroes watching (6) [lmao and it’s even funnier when their ‘shock’ of Garou’s achievement is mistaken for King’s ‘ultimate hellfire burst wave motion cannon’ instead. Surprise wc twist: Garou became the cannon!]

So suffice to say, I couldn’t be happier, and couldn’t even care less if the manga’s progression is ‘different’ from the wc - not when ONE’s ever betrayed my reading/faith in Garou’s core character, only to consistently honor and affirm what I’ve always long known about him instead (yes, ever since the wc). But delivered in a fresh new satisfying way, with everything I’d hoped for and then some. Now THIS is so much fun!
