Enjoying my job immensely! I work at the joanns fabric near me, which turns out to be part of a main packaging/shipping hub, and it's huge!!!! I've been ringing up art supplies and cutting fabric all in the past few weeks!!!! It's really helping me be in a creative mood like all the time. I made an art account (nothing posted) and I think the hardest part for me is just "starting" again and I get wrapped up in making the first post "special" in some way when it shouldn't have to be. Sorry for taking so long to figure things out and for shutting ppl out, I'm changing for the better, and I'm making an effort to communicate more, I promise!

had a really good chocolate pastry by the pond earlier. caught up with linguistics and did my reading for monday. my best friend was supposed to visit this weekend but the friend she spent all day yesterday with tested positive for covid so that's not happening . sigh. but tomorrow i'm going over to uknowwho's place for a pancake breakfast and also kissing it must be said i want to be honest with u guys. and then we're taking a train to a nearby city to go to an exhibition by a sculptor whose work was originally introduced to me by my hs english teacher. also i saw ducklings. and the weather is nice and mild. so i really can't complain!

Im saying "transition from what they are currently" and not "transition to the opposite gender" Because a lot of these are trans at that would just be a detransition. Though that counts too i guess

so it turns out I didn't save it on a flashdrive. It's on my very cheap school computer >> as in the one I purchased solely for the sake of being able to have something to use during class to take notes and save important doctuments. As in the one that ended up having a copious amount of drafts of fics as well as fully finished ones because I'm shameless and also because class is very boring

am I reading every single one? absolutely. some tidbits under the cut

oh damn I found a jeraskier fic I started writing after the conclusion of season one and also reading through like half the books and wanted to write an angsty thing from Geralt's pov that made him similar to how he was in the books because uknowwho made him seem like he's all just gruff and grunt and I wasn't about to have that BUT ANYWAY

there's also stuff I wrote about my period drama-inspired writer oc, Eugene and then another thing I wrote for the villain of a few of the arcs, Chancellor Viceroy (whose name isn't Viceroy, but actually Guillaume) because his backstory is that he lived a long time before the present day (ambiguous, but the world reads like a modernized Victorian era London with supernatural elements) and basically he was very very much in love with his dear wife Adeline (several paragraphs detailing his affection in the way of describing her in a very soft sweet wholesome moment)

and their young son, Philippe. But they were very very poor and in a moment of weakness he accepted a deal from a man who he didn't realize was a vampire (demon??? I can't remember if the specific one was the main bbeg, Kingsley, or if it was like an actual vampire like Ernst (but not Ernst, because he's very kind and also a key part to my other ocs--Basil and Lewis'--story) and let himself be turned into a vampire in exchange for wealth and servitude to the bad guy so that his family would have a good life

only to be greeted home with an inconsolable Adeline because she didn't mind that they were poor, and they weren't so bad off that life was bad either- it's a very emotional scene >>

but uh yeah she ends up leaving him and taking their son and then Viceroy ends up brooding for a few years before becoming bitter

god I went way off track

I also found some underswap stuff because I was bitter about the way that people would make us!sans childish because he's small despite canonverse pap being pretty well aware and mature despite his upbeat attitude

But MAN there's a shit ton of stuff here like several dozens of thousands of words of draft-worth kinda stuff

Looking through old drafts trying to find something but instead I found a treasure trove of stuff I wrote back during my freshman year of hs and man how did I not know that I was at least a little fruity???

I wrote a piece based off a prompt about second chances from the eyes of the ambiguous (I think I convinced myself the mc was male, but reading through there's implications of them being female) narrator and the way that I described their love interest?? MAN BASIL UR FRUITY
