I Turn To You was released as a 7th single from Mel’s debut album Northern Star. Massive success selling over 2 millon copies and together with Never Be The Same Again making NS rise on the charts. It was written by Mel herself, Rick Nowels and Billy Steinber and mixed by Hex Hector who received a Grammy award as Remixer of the Year. The music video was made in Ibiza and directed by Cameron Casey. This song is an ultimate Melanie C hit being performed in every tour including the Return of the Spice Girls in 2007.

New Music Monday

I absolutely love dancing to this jam by Sigma featuring Paloma Faith (video link here), and if I worked out like I keep saying I will, it would be on repeat on my gym playlist. It's worth checking out more of Paloma Faith's stuff, as I did after seeing her wild personality on the Graham Norton Show. She's got quite a big voice to go along with her persona, and I love her retro sound which is similar to that of Amy Winehouse or Duffy. If you like her voice, check out "Only Love Can Hurt Like This," which has been her biggest single in the UK.
