for me it was when vi cupped powder's cheek when they were kids and looked at her with so much love and reverence and softness and powder looked up with so much fuckin trust and that knowing look and relief and love and sjksk

I watched those scenes feeling like vi didn't treat powder the way almost all older siblings treat their younger sibling

Idk how to explain it. it felt like Vi recognized powder as a distinct person, not just her little sister whom she had an obligation to care for

The way I could see them growing up if they had stayed like that... they would have been everything to each other (still are, but in a broken way, jagged edges that no longer fit together perfectly like they could have been in another life) the cest vibes would have been off the fuckin charts had they grown up like that. Even more so than they are now

So. Yeah. That scene made me hold my breath the first time I saw it. And then the rest of the series happened, and that side dynamic to them just got cemented more and more to me
