A little Luffy headcanon I have to share with you :3

When he sleeps I moves around ALOT, but when he's sleeping while clinging to someone or just touching them bro does NOT move.

When Asl were kids they figured this out, Sabo was the first to notice, he would notice it first when Luffy would cling to him or Ace, Luffy loves physical touch basically.

After 3D2Y this became more common for him to want to dogpile on his crew, because they were separated for so long. This headcanon also ties on with him saying that being alone hurts more than being injured.

Something most one piece fans need to understand is that the love the Boa Hancock has for Luffy isn't romantic or sexual.

Its Affection and Appreciation. Yes she does have fantasies of marriage with Luffy, but that's because she doesn't fully understand the love between and man a woman.

Luffy is one of the only men who doesn't shame her for her and her sisters past as slaves.

She believes that this is what 'love' is, her first impression of men, were that they were cruel to everyone they met, that they treated women horribly.

Sure Boa is a 31 yr old woman, but in no way is she praying on Luffy. Most women on Amazon Lily don't understand romantic love either. They call it a sickness if you fall in love with someone.

Those, yknow THOSEE, one piece fans will call him "lucky" or even get mad at him for not taking up the offer of marrying her.

Luffy is clearly not interested in any romantic or sexual relationships. Oda himself stated there will not be any romances between the Strawhats nor will they have love interests (well except for Sanji ofc).

But the love between Luffy and Boa is strictly platonic. He loves Boa in the same way he loves his crew, just a little bit less, but nonetheless I still find it a little weird.

But anywizzle, I love Boa Hancock's Character and I would die for her and her story, I would defend her until the end of the earth. <33

Also before I forget, Luffy also was respectful when listening to her and her sisters story, he even told them they didn't have to tell him, but yet they insisted on it.

I am going on this rant as a Boa Hancock defender, and a Aroace Luffy truther. ^3^
