Mm... There's something about Leopardi's "Dialogo di un venditore di almanacchi e di un passeggere" that awakes a slight sense of dread in me, but I can't place the reason why and it's lowkey upsetting and eating me alive.

#ugghhh I guess I'm missing a little piece or something??? but idk #is it because we didn't see the topic in depth? is it simply me who is in a different mindset which makes it hard for me to understand it?#or am I simply in a phase of life that has different thoughts from those?#I know it's from Leopardi's cosmic pessimism phase but still #why not desiring to go back to when you still had the joy of illusion?#I should see again that part #but the reason for all this maybe be that currently I'm vibing with 'L'infinito'#and it's a little jarring reading the other? idk #my post
