What is CSIR NET Exam?

With the release of the official notification, the process for online filling of UGC NET Application Form 2022 started on 30th April 2022 and was supposed to end on 20th May 2022. But following a directive by UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, the last date extends till May 30th, 2022.

The UGC Chairman, gave an update about the extension of the last date, via his Twitter account.

He wrote, “In pursuant to representations from the candidates, regarding submission of online application form for UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles), it has been decided to extend the last date for submission and fee payment to 30 May 2022.”

The exam is a compilation of December 2021 and June 2022 cycles, I.e., UGC NET 2022 will be known as the December 2021 and June 2022 merged cycle.

About the exam dates. Up until now, there is no concrete information about when the exam will take place but as per conjectures, it will be scheduled during the first/second week of June 2022.
