HEADCANON / UNOHANA’S ZANPAKUTO
In its sealed state, Unohana’s zanpakuto is a long, slightly curved blade- similar to that of a nodachi. The guard is a simple oval shape, engraved with a thin border made up of several tiny hash markings. Its handle is a deep, rich red in color ( a striking, if not obvious resemblance to the hue of blood ). Unohana carries her zanpakuto over her shoulder with a thin strap, as opposed to securing its sheathe to her obi. She’s also known to entrust her sword to Isane to carry for her.
Her zanpakuto’s thematic element is heavily rooted in Noh Theater, specifically the act of wearing a mask to depict a character or portray a certain role, but artfully so. Reflective of her hidden nature, Unohana’s shikai manifests in a manner almost completely different and seemingly detached/unrelated to her bankai. It should be noted, however, that the primary function of both is to heal or extract impurities.
SHIKAI / MINAZUKI ( 肉雫唼, Flesh-Drops’ Gorge )
Upon its release command “Purify”, Minazuki morphs into a green gaseous substance before taking the solid form of a giant, green, one eyed manta ray like creature with the ability to fly. Its appearance could be interpreted as a manifested Kishin, a spirit or other-worldly creature. Minazuki can be used as a form of transportation, and will change back into its gaseous state before returning to its sword form when its duty has been fulfilled ( or when Unohana deems it so ). Minazuki appears to follow Unohana’s verbal orders, and doesn’t necessarily require her to invoke the proper name of the ability she wishes it to use. In this, it acts more like a familiar to Unohana than most Zanpakuto to their wielders.
Shishiguchi no Man’noyaku ( 獅子口, Shishiguchi’s Panacea): When the wounded are placed within Minazuki’s mouth, they are swallowed and stored inside its stomach. Its stomach acids are strong healing medicines and ointments which gradually soak over the wounded, curing their injuries. Minazuki can carry at least six people within its stomach. Upon Unohana’s orders, Minazuki will regurgitate the people back out of its mouth once healed.
Shikami no Doku ( 顰の毒, Shikami’s Venom): The antithesis of Minazuki’s healing process; it will absorb all poisons, infections, and tainted blood into itself as it extracts the injuries from the wounded. It stores this amalgamate in its system, distilling it as a strong toxin which it can regurgitate from its mouth at Unohana’s command and be used as a weapon.
Kurohige no Hiko ( 黒髭 , Kurohige’s Flight): When manifesting in its physical form, Minazuki becomes large enough to transport at least a dozen people on its back alone. Its “wings” stretch out from its body and allows it to glide through the air. Interestingly enough, it’s size and weight seem to have little to no effect on its ability to fly.
Yakan no Henkan (野干の変換, Yakan’s Transformation): Minazuki has the ability to alter its physical appearance at will. It can sprout limbs, and change its physical form to a gaseous state. The limit to this ability is unknown, and doesn’t appear to adhere to an equivalent exchange of mass given how large its physical manifestation is compared to its smaller sword form.
BANKAI / MINAZUKI ( 皆尽, All Things’ End )
Upon its invocation, Minazuki will altogether forego a physical form and its blade will instead transform into a thick liquid state, closely resembling blood. Once the majority of this liquid flows off her blade, it reveals the remainder which has solidified into a shortened katana. She uses this blade for combat, strong and sturdy enough to even withstand attacks from Kenpachi Zaraki’s blade. Coupled with her unparalleled skill and knowledge in swordsmanship styles, this makes for a deadly weapon despite its outward simplicity.
Uchizue (打杖, Dozen Cane): Small daggers formed from the red liquid that flows off Minazuki’s blade. They appear as shards of hardened blood, and have the same durability as her sword itself. She can create up to six separate daggers at a time, and uses them to injure her opponent in what some might call a “dirty” method of fighting.
Kyu no Mai (急之舞, Rapid Dance): Minazuki’s passive ability that greatly enhances Unohana’s speed in battle.
Engeki wa Owatta (演劇は終わった, The Play Is Over): Minazuki’s most powerful technique. When invoked, Minazuki will begin to affect all ‘impurities’ within its range ( both the opponent, and Unohana herself ) by melting the flesh off the targets’ body — ‘purification’ through complete eradication in what is essentially a one-hit kill ability. Though this move affects Unohana, she is able to withstand its effect due to her Kaidou mastery and heals herself as she is exposed to the ability. Additionally, despite the fact that they subject her to this ability, Minazuki doesn’t wish to completely kill their wielder.

I really don't understand people... via /r/atheism
Submitted April 10, 2018 at 02:43PM by Uchizu (Via reddit https://ift.tt/2ID7zY0) I really don't understand people...
A friend of mine believes in a magical creature in the sky that resolves their issues, but thinks that dinosaurs and Egyptian mummy's are not real and were created by man for revenue purposes? What in the actual fuck?
