#loymachedo shares BREAKING NEWS UAE Banks have begun Mass Terminations of Expat Employees to cut down losses. I had predicted the mass terminations 2 years ago on my channel however now it is become even larger & faster due to the break of the Coronavirus. My prediction still stands - around 70% of the Senior Salaried Expat workforce will be replaced or terminated. However, what surprises me is that the bank which I am sharing information of has had the biggest & most profitable year - 13.684 Billion (Check www.DIB.ae) And STILL they choose to terminate the work force. So as I have always stated - Position yourself as a Personal Brand, Ensure you have a Plan B or… you are done. Loy Machedo FYI - The guy stated here is one of the senior most personnel with an incredible position of authority with over 15 years with the bank. And he was issued a termination with no consideration for his contribution to the bank. Let me know your thoughts. ************** Dear Loy Just for you info . My journey with DIB is going to finish . They told me due to current situation and management decision after Noor merger and acquisition it has been decided to replace some post in DIB with Noor staff . They gave 4 month gross salary with 1 month notice period . I will be getting all the EOSB. Visa will be continued till the July end . I need to work only for the notice period . So the XXXX years journey with DIB has been over . They have fired 1350 staffs altogether. 800 from Noor and 550/- from DIB . From mostly senior staffs . Anyways I’m planning to focus in my business for the time being . In the meantime will look for some good openings as well ! Just for your info . If you are mentioning about this in the social media don’t mention my name As I have still time with them . Some of the people have no choice . Imagine how senior people will find jobs in 4 months time ? Many of them have children studying in school and college .... very tough man .
