the other day i was going thro my blog and i stumbled upon ur asks being like "i like your blood" u remember those cjkdmdjdjd its insane that that was like 3 years ago or something now.

i already answered this so imma think of new things that make me happy so i dont repeat myself.

1. watching yt videos. the amount of talented and funny people making these videos is honestly inspiring and i love watching them.

2. listening to music. especially "creepy" music. take that amazing devil, will wood, bear ghost, dirt poor robins, etc.

3. dancing to music at ungodly hours of the night

4. talking to my friends. i fucking love talking to my friends. the other day i went out and was with my friends for like 6 hours and it was sooooo nice. also calling friends and being silly together? me and jo's favorite pass time jekdmjd

5. water. okay this one is weird but i really love water djdkmdjd i drink A LOT of water and it does genuinely make me happy and light up whenever i do djdkdmjdd

you  are  raised  with  warm  hands  cradling  you.  helping  you  on  your  first  steps,  tucking  a  knitted  hat  over  your  ears  during  winter,  the  smell  of  herbal  tea  whenever  you  fall  ill.  there's  always  a  warm  bowl  of  porridge  when  you  come  home,  and  a  calloused  hand  to  run  through  your  dark  hair. you  only  have  your  mother,  but  never  once  do  you  feel  like  your  family  is  half,  for  her  presence  fills  every  room  she  steps  in.  you  swear  that  her  smile  can  rival  the  sun. she's  a  physician,  loved  and  well-regarded  through  the  kingdom.  a  lot  of  people  come  and  go  to  see  her,  plenty  of  visitors  stopping  by,  some  having  to  stay  for  longer  amounts  of  time,  some  leaving  as  soon  as  they  have  been  treated.  you  start  helping  her  from  a  young  age,  and  she  teaches  you  her  craft. you  want  to  be  like  her  when  you  grow  up.  to  help  people,  regardless  of  who  they  are.  you  want  to  be  the  warmth  of  a  home  she  offers  to  others,  and  you  work  hard  to  learn  and  become  her  apprentice. life  is  great  — until  everything  turns  upside  down.  you  are  away  from  home  for  a  school  trip,  only  for  a  few  days,  when  you  return  to  find  your  mother  on  the  bed,  bandages  wrapped  around  her,  injuries  littering  her  frame  that  even  her  medicine  cannot  heal. other  healers  tell  you  it's  the  infection  that  takes  her  life,  slowly  spreading,  making  her  more  and  more  feverish,  less  coherent.  but  you  know  better  that  it  was  someone.  someone  you  don't  know,  someone  who  did  this  to  her.  even  in  her  last  days,  she  refuses  to  tell  you,  not  wanting  to  fill  your  heart  with  ill  thoughts.  you  don't  want  to  spend  your  last  moments  with  her  poorly,  so  you  do  not  ask  one  more  time,  yet  you  know  it  to  be  impossible. she  passes  on  a  rainy  day.  you  are  sure  you  will  never  be  the  same  again. that  same  week,  you  meet  phayanak.  he  becomes  your  ray  of  light  through  the  ever-consuming  grief.  giving  you  purpose,  making  you  realize  that  while  medicine  is  a  way  to  help,  there  is  a  much  better  way  out  there to  protect  others  before  they  come  to  harm,  before  any  evil  can  be  spread  to  the  innocent. he  becomes  your  companion,  and  your  most  trusted  friend. it  becomes  an  easy  choice  to  join  the  squad,  and  you  do  everything  in  your  power  to  be  a  good  member.  in  your  heart,  you  will  always  seek  the  truth  of  what  happened  to  your  mother,  but  protecting  lyris  keeps  you  busy.  gives  you  a  purpose  you  desperately  needed  all  those  years  ago.  and  you  swear  to  yourself  that  you  will  do  it  well,  no  matter  what.
