xarrai hates the flaming fist so much but i just don’t think they can resist encouraging wyll to be a duke. like sure they hate the cops but it would be truly insane of them (in their own mind) to NOT pocket king cop. they’re going to give him shit for the rest of his days about being king cop and perhaps post game when they’re not quite as power hungry as they have been in the past they’ll question their own choices but. well. wyll seems happy and xarrai gets to go from an unofficial advisor of a duke to an Official Advisor of a duke so it’s kind of a win/win

#it does hurt me so bad to look wyll in the eye and say ‘yes. u should be king cop for sure.’#but unfortunately xarrai is not above compromising their flimsy morals for a chance at a little power. even if they like #no long give as much of a shit LOL #and WYLL doesn’t seem to have any issue with the flaming fist #which btw. hate that larian made the only black party member also be a big cop supporter. but i digress #i think ‘guy who doesn’t like politics but loves the cops’ being advised by ‘guy who loves politics and hates the cops’ is like. a very #funny dynamic for them to have. wyll asks for policy advise and xar (half joking) is like ‘well dismantle the fist first’#u have to imagine it like. xar has just gotten back into the gate after a month on the road #and is sitting at wyll’s table leafing thru a handful of wanted posters from the last city they were in #with their muddy boots on the table #disregarding everything he asks until he gets annoyed #oc. xarrai #漫言
