A fun fact I have recently found out is that there is actually a canonical cabal of four different greater daemons doing daemon shenanigans together. Quadrifold Abominatum.

For your consideration, random Fuzz lore facts, two per each Fuzz:

An'Hangra has a vast collection of posters with famous warriors: chaos, loyalist, everything in between those and off the spectrum.

The only signed poster that she has is of Khârn. Currently working on getting Captain Lotara to sign hers.

Balthrag is the only one of Fuzzes with a conventionally normal home. It may be in the middle of a haunted, cursed, deadly, blooming, and writhing bog, but it is a very sweet cottagecore cabin. The bog itself is a part of Nurgle's gardens.

Balthrag daemon form is pretty much her bog. Formless, glorious, rumbling tide, coalescing into vague figure only to fall down as a wave of rotting and blooming with life water again.

Colorful shirts with floral patterns are her favorite article of clothing and she has an unreasonably sized collection of those.

Shanakay, to be fair, also has some sort of a home, it is her abode in the Palace of Slaanesh. But it is nowhere normal. And not recommended to visit.

Before Shanakay firmly settled in the role of the daemon mainly concerned with perfection of arts, crafts, and miscellaneous skills she was a part of the Courante Legion. A lot of aesthetically pleasing death and bloodshed was committed in those days.

Shanakay, contrary to popular opinion (source of popular opinion being other denizens of the Palace), is not completely uninterested or opposed to the carnal side of pleasures, that Slaanesh governs. She just finds it really damn boring.

Lacedrace was once forcibly put into a titan in an attempt to create a powerful daemon engine. She eventually escaped containment due to finding contract loopholes and already existing in the crystal host body, but it was sure an (unpleasant) experience.

Lacedrace sometimes DMs tabletop games and often uses DMing something as a bargaining chip with Kairos, who is suffering from his forever-DM-itis.

Yes, they commission terrain for their tabletop from Perturabo. This is not a Fuzz fact, but Perturabo needs some recognition, okay? He makes top-notch tabletop terrain.

Nameless One, Malalite Fuzz as it was mentioned before lives beyond reality in a cozy little void. Since the arrival of the second tenant, it did somewhat morphed into a vaguely house-like interior. Nameless does scoff at it a bit but came to enjoy the concept of sofa. Just a tiny bit.

Her giant greatsword has one interesting property and this is slicing reality and Warp apart. Everyone's best guess is that it is powered by her nihilism.

So, some time ago I asked for suggestions on who I can sketch Fuzzes interacting with and @askrobouteguilliman40k and @sternguard77 suggested Roboute and Fabian Guelphrain respectively.

So, I, unfortunately, wasn't able to find a picture of Fabian, but I feel like he and his quest for a certain library would give Lacedrace a certain sense of deja vu.

Yeah, so, Fuzzes delivering cakes to Roboute and trying out their very cunning disguises. Namely Regular Human, Sister of Battle, Tech-Priest, and Some Kinda Psyker.

Up to scale between each other and Ah'Hangra is just a sliver shorter than Average Joe. And hey, I think this is the first drawing of Balthrag in recent times! Also showcases their weapons of choice, because why not.

Shanakay uses rapiers, Balthrag mace, Lacedrace her staff, and An'Hangra cleavers.

What do the Fuzzes think of the god's mortal champions? Typhus, Lucius, Ahriman and Kharn?

Oh, this is interesting! Thank you for a question c: I will do them in pairs based on a deity since this is who would interact the most.

As per usual, a lot of it is in relation to what is "canon" in Fuzzverse, so, folks, don't go after my butt for making a cadaver from canon.

So, Lacedrace respects Ahriman from the professional standpoint and is drawn to his grand designs and dreams of restoring the legion, due to this often happy to drop by to work on something together. Somewhat managed to make the falling out between him and Magnus in regards to Rubric less volatile and made this a bit of a shared project between them to unscrew it.

An'Hangra and Kharn... Well, as it was mentioned earlier, she collects posters of famous warriors of the galaxy and has a signed one from him, so it gives some perspective. She does look up to him in terms of how formidable he is as a warrior. The closest thing I can really think of is really gym buddies. Her personal beef with Erebus, save for him being a very dishonorable bastard, is actually because he murdered Argel Tal, with whom Kharn was good friends.

Shanakay and Lucius are... Well, take one person obsessed with being a perfect swordsman and who can back the talk and take one daemon obsessed with perfecting all and every skill to be found and you get perfect sparring partners. On points of other forms of art or the importance of perfecting crotcheting and salad-making, they agree less. Does warp dust go in the salad and in what amount? A good question to fight it out.

Balthrag and Typhus do meet quite rare as I can hardly imagine him going out of the way to find her corner of Garden, but she herself I bet thinks of him in a moderately familiarly kind way, if it makes sense? They are all children and grandchildren to Papa Nurgle, after all. Some are rowdier than others. Also, I must admit I don't yet know enough about Typhus myself to make a call.

Proper names for Fuzzes, at long last. Probably not entirely up to WH standards for daemon names, but I am not doing these crazy keymashes, I need something I can reliably type without my face over keyboard every time.

Up to future revisions, of course, because I am terrible at naming characters.

Tzeentchian: Lacedrace, Hopespark. Often goes by simply Hope when mingling with mortals.

Slaaneshi: Shanakay. Monikers include Siren and Lady of Thorns. Also goes by a great many teasing monikers due to her complicated relationship with a bunch of other Keepers of Secrets.

Nurglite: Balthrag. Otherwise often referred to as Bogmother. Because well, she lives in a bog and has mom friend vibes.

Khornate: An'Hangra. Tiny angy daemon is often also referred to as Packlord or Hound due to her always seen accompanied by flesh hounds.

Malalite considers herself to be above such human things as names. Or maybe just got tired of An'Hangra coming up with edgier and edgier suggestions and removed herself from the convo.

Since they themselves are demons inhabiting a crystal body do the fuzzes have any opinions on or interesting encounters with Eldar Wraith Constructs (what with them being Eldar souls in a crystal, piloting warp reactive bone shells)

Great question!

I would imagine they find it a rather curious idea, probably kind of odd since this is not entirely how souls should work? But I bet there is a certain sense of "hey, same hat" moment about the whole thing.

Lacedrace, Lord of Change probably finds the whole thing with Eldar Spirit Stones a great field for future research, especially given how she was the one to initially coin in the idea of crystal bodies among Fuzzes. So I bet she is interested to study the whole thing, hoping as well to perfect her own work in the process and make being in real space even easier on five of them.

An'Hangra, Bloodthirster I would say, finds it really cool for the simple reason of Wraith Constructs being formidable and even legendary foes to clash with, and wanting to throw hands beyond death itself is something she can really relate to and approve.

Balthrag, Great Unclean One likely finds the idea slightly odder, as it seems to be... Very un-embracing of your decay and death, which is not something she really supports? Also, all these spaceships can really use more vegetation and bog there. I imagine she can actually find more common ground with Exodites and their very natural worlds?

Shanakay, Keeper of Secrets... Okay, l would personally assume that she, being a daemon of Slaanesh is on every "Kill on Sight" list existing between Eldar, so I feel like pretty much every encounter would be a combat encounter. Or stealth. I bet it pisses her off because she just knows that these pesky elves have some really unique skills she just must learn, but they are not sharing. Ugh.

Being demons would their forms noticeably change in the presence of strong human emotion or areas of intense warp presence (Like a Warp Storm)

An interesting thought, I haven't actually thought about this before! So thank you for the suggestion.

I would say that Warp Storms definitely make them go progressively more "unhinged" and distorted in their forms, the longer they stay close enough.

The specific idea probably is that limited exposure would be beneficial in terms of amplifying their abilities and recharging their "magic batteries", but prolonged exposure would send them into overcharge with this excess energy finding its own way out.

The worst end result probably is that their crystalline hosts shatter and they forcible change into their proper daemon forms and later likely getting yeeted back in the Warp without proper hosts when a storm will pass?

Human emotion I bet has relatively the same effect, just needs very, very high concentration to match what Warp Storms do. This, I guess, also makes being around humans with a proper emotional state a great way for them to stay well-fed energy-wise.

An'Hangra with her Khornate diet requirements must have such field day with all the war raging across the galaxy.

Oh, an awesome question! Let's see... Regardless if they are in their crystal hosts or proper daemon forms proportion remains roughly the same, just on a different scale. For daemon forms I however have no idea how actually big they would be relative to other characters, so only providing this information for their crystalline "humansonas".

The shortest one is An'Hangra, Khornate one. On the human scale, she is shorter than average, but it just makes her battle fury more condensed and bright. Being able to ride flesh hounds into battle is an added benefit.

Next in height is Lacedrace, Tzeentchian one. She is a tad bit above average on the human scale but feels like she is smaller due to how thin and fragile-looking she is. Still perfectly able to bench-press Cato in his power armor if needed.

Closely following is Balthrag, Nurglite one. She is only a bit shorter compared to typical Astartes on the human scale and in contrast with Lacedrace looks even bigger due to how chubby and round she is.

And then there is Shanakay, Slaaneshi one. She is somewhere between Astartes and Thunder Warriors in height on the human scale and you can tell that An'Hangra is low-key pissed off about it. She is, accidentally, also perfectly sized to hug Astartes and Primarchs and you can do with this information whatever you want.

Nameless, Malalite one is hard to put down, but I would honestly put her even higher on the list compared to Shanakay. She can be big, she can be taller than Custodes and with the sword far bigger than normal humans are. As a treat.

So, since both Fuzz and Ncharr are a bit demon and a bit secretary, why not both? Both are good.

First for Ncharr - fallen maia and salty secretary from Angband.

She always has some knives up her sleeves. Both figuratively and factually. Using throwing and regular daggers is her preferred form of combat, so here is that.

Due to her work, she also tends to always have writing utensils and paper for notes on her. Just in case, you know.

As for collecting? I suppose she might be collecting tamed birds and most definitely whatever baubles and gifts Gili brings her. Efforts of a confused child must be appreciated.

Now for (Tzeentchian) Fuzz - tricky daemon of the foul Immaterium, who is out there to corrupt pure guardsmen to Chaos

She always carries her custom-fit Staff of Tzeentch with her, obviously. It is practically from the same crystal her host body is made from and potent magic focus, giving her the possibility to cast pretty awesome magic even in her diminutive form.

And while not used as a magic catalyst it is still something with very sharp pointy bits, tearing apart metal and reality alike.

As for collecting, I would say that she is rather interested in collecting magical lore and local rumors alike. As well as being very fond of "collecting" friendships and debts she would be able to call upon in dire hours of needing someone to do movie night or conquer the planet together.

Okay, so, long overdue summary on "Who are Fuzzes, Why are Fuzzes and Where are Fuzzes". Unfortunately don't have arts on hand, so illustrated version will be someday later.

Proper warnings are: excessive amounts of fluff, questionable canon compliance, lack of proper grimdark

Overly generally Fuzzes are five Greater Daemons, who consider each other siblings of some fashion and more or less collectively engage in daemon shenanigans.

All of them except Malalite do, in contrast with many others of their kind, tend to be centered around somewhat more benign elements of Chaos. "Somewhat" is a key word. Example: khornate one still being very kill-maim-burn in her day to day life, but not without rather rigid code on when, how and who.

Another common detail of them is that they are able to relatively easy manifest in the material realm with the use of host bodies made from enchanted crystal. It however severely limits their capabilities.

Now, let's give each of them a face. Starting with...

• Tzeentchian Fuzz is a Lord of Change and the most active in the realspace. Many millenia ago was given to Magnus by Tzeentch, prior to this assignment was one of many scribes assisting Kairos. Unless at her workplace being an eldritch sidekick she is probably roaming the galaxy in search of adventures.

Her daemon shtick are hopes, grand designs and generally speaking various aspirations. As well as orchestrated downfalls, fate biting back and also keeping chronicles and being a giant nerd.

Her frequent companion is a tzaangor called Ivan (pronounceable variant of name given by Sanya), who is very dedicated firearms enthusiast.

• Khornite Fuzz is a Bloodthirster and she for the vast, vast majority of her time post-Heresy tends to hang out with Captain Lotara Sarrin or Angron, doing her part to keep Conqueror neat and operational. You figure how timeline works, I just say it is all Warp and daemon magic.

Her shtick, not at all surprisingly, is combat. Fiercely into the whole martial prowess thing she is always looking for new challenges and worthy opponents to kill-maim-burn in the haze of jolly berserking rage. As mentioned above, she still has rather rigid honor code in addition to this and also loyal to very intense extents.

Outside of combat she is absolutely the stereotypical jolly jock of the group. Accompanied by a pack of flesh hounds.

• Nurglite Fuzz is a Great Unclean One, who usually stays in Nurgle realms where she can tend to her nice little garden. She is very laidback, spends probably the least amount of time outside of Immaterium. Because yes, garden. Also her little nurglings. Also helping grandpa Nurgle and Isha with their cook offs. Yeah. From time to time drops back to check on pretty much everyone being the mom friend.

Her shtick is enjoying the life as it goes by, letting the flow take you wherever and open arms to the world to invite it to rest in the bog with you. Best person to ask if you need some morbid, but genuine encouragement. Just don't forget biohazard suit.

Speaking of nurglings, she is usually accompanied by three of them, reborn from some unfortunate souls of human youth. Fiercely protected by said Fuzz.

• Slaaneshi Fuzz is a Keeper of Secrets. Suffers greatly from being constantly assumed to be out there for lewd, inappropriate corruption of mortal souls.

Can usually be found in less-crowded parts of Slaanesh Palace or travelling from worlds to worlds in her unending search for skills to perfect. On grounds of which has Fulgrim in favoured astropathy contact list.

Her shtick, as I was saying, is obsessive perfectionism in mainly art, but frankly anything will go. Which is a reason for her to have a very hefty skill portfolio including also stuff like pottery, beatboxing, warehouse management, dog grooming and making tax reports in approximately several hundreds of thousands taxation systems. Will gladly infodump and wiki how anyone asking.

Doesn't strictly has a companion, but does enjoys in being pen pals with like, half of the galaxy.

• Malalite Fuzz is a greater daemon of Malal. Hangs out with the rest of the gang rather infrequently as she is mostly bothered by her personal crusade against daemons. Rather rude and has a very, very big sword.
