Okay, I talk about my strained relationship with my father a lot, the abandonment and all that, but I want to share a fond memory.

I was listening to The Ultimate Jedi Who Wastes All the Other Jedi and Eats Their Bones (yes I kept that in my clipboard to avoid typing it all out lol) after voting in that poll and hearing John Darnielle's son in the background reminded me of this.

My father took me to see Star Wars Episode I when it came out in theaters. I was three, going on four years old. He's a big Star Wars fan and I was so excited to see the new movie with him. He's also a big Weird Al fan.

SO, combine these together, and you have one of my favorite memories: us listening to The Saga Begins in the car and singing along.

Found out Pete's Theme vanished from YouTube, or at least I can no longer remember how I found it on YouTube, but luckily I have the file on my computer and likely several backups so I get to share it with everyone :)

That post about leitmotifs had me thinking about all the times I heard Anata ni Aete sprinkled in the tokimemo 2 OST so I thought I'd share my favorites

Having a whole world built for my ocs in my head carefully being put together before I feel their story can be put out there is so weird when I'm just sitting and feel like making an announcement that "my protagonist's parents' ship playlist officially now has Natsukage on it" as if that's going to make any sense.

"This is so them!" But nobody knows who they are because if I start yapping without anything more to show for it, everyone just gets lost and can't keep up which is understandable since I can only keep up because I've been crafting these OCs since they were originally existing characters in a fanfiction I started when I was 10-11.

... Thank you, YouTube recommendations for recommending me Omoide wa Okkusenman because "that's him! That's her dad! That's HIS SONG!" (Even though I said this about The Wanderer, All These Things That I've Done, The Times They Are A-Changin'...)

There's this scene from Lucky Star (do the young people today still watch Lucky Star?) that has lived in my head rent free for over a decade where Konata talks about how catchy music from eroge is; can't remember what episode right now but she was absolutely right.

So I'm sharing some favorites! I'm not going to pick anything like Last Regrets or Kanashimi no Mukou e because those have long surpassed their eroge origins what with all-ages releases and popular anime adaptations.

(I know I said Kanashimi no Mukou e surpassed eroge origins and it did, but Liar in the Mirror is different because it was for the School Days prototype)
