kiba gets a job at ino's family's flower shop to help raise some extra money!

he sells their weed on the side. i know this to be true in my heart of hearts

shino meets kiba through hinata, who visits the shop regularly. she's good friends with ino (and also sometimes buys ~special cookies~ from her bc it eases her anxiety)

ANYWAY, shino goes into the shop for the first time to buy some flowers for his brother's wedding and yes i mean torune and fuu

he probably knew kiba in middle/high school! and then lost touch bc shino went to college and kiba stayed in konoha.

shino is an etymologist and works field research with his dad

shino asks kiba out with flowers that he bought from the yamanaka flower shop. kiba's the one who checked him out too and had NO idea. shino deadass paid for the flowers, walked out, turned right around and walked back INTO the shop and gave them to kiba. they're dorks your honor
