THANK you for indulging me!! 10) What’s your favourite animal/pet? (The bunny from MM, the parrot from UF, etc, etc.) OOhh OK this is a tough one. I almost want to say Keats because I love cats so much and he's an adorable addition to the Bostonious crew but I THINK i have to say the bunny from MM! All the interactions between the bunny and Luke are just SO sweet and I think a really nice character developing moment for Luke? It's just so adorable and interesting to see Luke in a leadership role and the bunny being so sweet and cute in response to that hehe... its sweet...

19) Do you prefer the 2D art or the 3D art? 2D art, no question. I will admit the 3D art is nice for being able to show off characters personalities with gestures and little ticks, but I feel like it also strips away a lot of that iconic layton style... I'm just so charmed by the 2D illustrations that anything else feels like its missing something I guess!

1) Who is your favourite character? Ogdfjhg MAN..... can I just cheat and say its Hershel AND Luke? I don't think I could ever pick one or the other! They're such a unit in how I think about and characterize them fkdjhsfd I find it hard to think about one without the other ^^;;

6) What outfit of Luke’s is your favourite? HM ok have to be boring and say the main trilogy outfit is my favourite! I really adore Luke’s outfit in LS but I think I like it because of how it transitions into Luke in the main trilogy. It just suits him so well! A funny little mishmash of both proper little gentleman clothes while being a little scrappy letting his suspenders hang loose haha its just cute

22) Do you have any merchandise? If yes, what? If no, would you like any? What would you get? hdnfjhsdbf I DO... I do in fact... I have a pretty decent collection if I may say so and it’s something I do invest time and money into building & collecting other pieces and I’m proud of it!! Just feels a bit like boasting to share pictures of it online fdskjfhsd - I’m no professional collector and I like to take things out of their boxes and display them but I get a lot of joy from my collection of fan made and official merch fkjsdfhsd i lovingly call it my cringe shrine Thank you for the ask!! ^_^

4) What’s your favourite puzzle? ohh wow this is a tough one! HM! well I have to say puzzle 74 from Diabolical Box PU! is an old favourite, I love a puzzle with a cheeky answer afterall haha - close in second are the banana slip (UF) or skating (DB) puzzles I think, I just find those fun to work out!... puzzle 70 from UF The Third Youngest ALSO is one I adore ... AND DB puzzle 8 Luke's Big Dinner! fdjkshfsd.. ok maybe I have a lot of favourtie puzzles...;;

9) What’s your favourite minigame? Y'know its gotta be the tea set mini game in diabolical box - you could solve it just playing around with the ingredients BUT luke and hershel's little interactions were a big highlight for me. AND it was fun and a bit stressful trying to brew the right tea for Folsense residents

13) If you could meet any character’s voice actor and have them say something to you as their character, who would you choose and what would you have them say? MAN oh man... ok so it'd have to be Hershel's voice actor - Christopher robin miller specifically. RLY hard to think of one thing to say. I mean lets go super self indulgent here but I'd adore just a simple "My name is Professor Hershel Layton and this here is my son Luke," *eats that up*

26) How did you discover the series? I was gifted curious village by my parents! my siblings r big into video games but I struggle with fighting, MMO or strategy games that they seem to enjoy - but really enjoyed visual novels and puzzle point and click games. and so it seemed like a decent gift - and the rest is history i was rly taken with them

32) What was the saddest moment/s in the games for you? aughg man.. man. I mean. Unwound Future is gut wrenching. The entire end sequence tears my apart everytime. Luke and Hershel's conversation at the statue destroys me. But probably their final scene at the docks rips me up the most... weuguhguh....

35) What Layton meme did you enjoy the most? (Clive and the snails? Desmond’s bread hair?) HAH! well ok. probably clive and snails fdskfbsdkj its the most innocuous (.... MOSTLY.) and its just funny. Ew a snail. he's such a little priss lol

im another discoelysium fan and i do adore it but i will say as a warning it contains practically every TW you can think of, DEFINITELY look up a list and mentally prepare yourself before playing if you think youll need to, its incredibly good but also has the potential to be incredibly upsetting. sorry if you already know though

You don’t go to disco elysium but I recommend going to disco elysium. It’s one of the most impactful games I’ve played in a long long time I recommend it HIGHLY

NEVER too late.... i always want to do ask memes... THIS is a hard one... because I love Maya so so much BUT I feel like Maya needs to be entertained? Like if I didnt have activities planned for her to do, she would be really bored and annoyed about being bored. and make sure I KNEW she was bored and wanted me to do something about it... NOT TO mention I would find myself footing the bill for all that take out we’d be ordering!!! Phoenix on the other hand I could see it almost being a bit awkward? He’s a sweet guy but he’s always a little weird and I feel like we’d have a lot of moments standing there looking at each other like 😬 BUT that being said... OK ... I think I would go with Phoenix. Fjfhdhd Thank you Altair hmm... you know this ones easy actually! Alfendi, by a long shot. Clive would probably spend a lot of time being bored and agitated... not to mention conversation would probably be a continuous game of oneupmanship... problem w being obsessed w revenge is it tends to make conversation pretty one track minded. Alfendi on the other hand, is an introvert so we would respect each other’s need to be alone. I also love true crime so we could watch documentaries and yell about the inconsistencies and bad direction. If Fendi was fronting more we could make coffee or tea and sit and chat and I’m sure he’s got good stories... if Al wanted to front he can rant and rave and shout and I can shout right back. Sure he could be a dick sometimes but he also wouldn’t object to being stuck inside since he’s already a bit of a shut in. So my baby boy Alfie for sure!!

WEHASBDKJHASBD GOD... THNAKS FERN.... FOR PICKING THE TWO PEOPLE MOST LIKELY TO DESTROY ALL MY WORLDLY POSESSIONS... this one isn't hard for me to chose though honestly. Listen I love Mettaton but like in the way one looks at a car crash as they drive by. It's a mess in there, but you still want to stop and gawk... Undyne is just as likely to destroy everything I love in my home BUT... she's got such a big passionate heart that I couldn't be too mad about it. PLUS she would be SO MUCH Fun TO HAng out with... Mettaton would talk about himself a lot but Undyne probably has lots of great tales of battles won and lost and all the monsters she loves to BITS in the underground. I would let her make me tea and then destroy my bed with spears.

Flora and Emmy?

ohh hmm tough one! They both certainly have their pros and cons... I imagine Emmy, being so energetic, would get stir crazy pretty fast being stuck inside. I figure she’d end up bouncing off the walls not being able to get rid of pent up energy or goading me into a lot of debates and squabbling (all in good fun of course) and then actual rough housing... Flora on the other hand might try to cook me something as I am not a fan of cooking. And I don’t really want to try that.... or might get lonely quite easily and want a lot of company... especially since I work a lot. I think she might find it pretty boring being stuck home alone a lot with the cat! HMM.. I’m going to have to say Emmy because I think she would be good at respecting the need for time alone as well as spent together.. AND it would be fun to wrestle sometimes. Plus I think she’d have loads of stories to tell about her travels so we would have a lot of great conversations send me two characters and i will tell you who i would rather be quarantined with and why!
