"What are you doing here?" You asked Hook in a hushed whisper, pushing him out into the hotel hallway you quietly shut the door behind you so you wouldn't awake your sleeping older brother. The man needed his sleep with being champion he was doing more work than before and you knew if he didn't get his full eight hours he was a cranky bitch.
"I just had to see you."
"Are you crazy, Max would-" You were cut off as your boyfriend kissed you midsentence. Sighing against his lips, you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him close. "I miss you." You whimpered in between breathed, your lips grazing against his.
"I know." Hook muttered, pushing you against the wall. "I can't stop thinking about you, makes me so hard."
You giggled, pulling away from the kiss. "I have to get back inside before he wakes up."
Hook frowned. "Can we have lunch tomorrow?"
"Max might want to join." You pointed out, he'd be suspicious if his little sister went on a lunch date with Hook alone.
"I don't mind." Hook flashed a smile. "As long as I get to spend time with you."

I'm a sucker for an enemies to lovers + forced proximity arc, what can I say?
Summary: Reader gets an unlucky break when she gets stuck traveling with Tyler for a couple of weeks for AEW's tour of the Pacific North West before Double or Nothing. She and Tyler have never bothered to get along. But truth be told, she doesn't quite know why.
You read the text from your wonderful AEW EVP's over again, making sure that you've read it right. And unfortunately you have.
Somehow, after some kind of vague mix-up or other, according to the message anyway, you've been stuck with the infamous HOOK as a travel partner for AEW's PNW tour.
Begrudgingly, you collect your bags from the hotel room you're staying at and decide to meet your new travel partner in the lobby. You check out of your room at the main desk and glance around for any sign of Tyler hanging around. You spot Taz's broody kid leaning against a far wall in the lobby and head over to him.
"Hey, Tyler." You attempt to be civil since you're going to be stuck with him all week.
"Hey." Tyler nods to you, an emotionless expression on his face. He pushes off the wall and slings his bag over his shoulder. "You ready to head out?" He asks you. "We're due for a house show in Portland tomorrow. Drive is a couple of hours."
You nod and adjust your bag hanging off your shoulder. "Yeah, I'm ready whenever you are." You step off to the side and let Tyler lead the way.
Tyler leads the way out into the parking lot and over to a black SUV he's renting for the week. He pops the trunk open and tosses his bag into the back before moving off to the side so you can do the same. You toss your bags down next to his, your brightly colored luggage a stark contrast to his black ones, and Tyler slams the trunk shut.
"I'm driving." Tyler fishes the keys to the SUV out of his pocket and flashes them at you.
"Fine by me." You shrug and walk over to the passenger side of the car.
Both of you climb into the car in silence, and Tyler pulls the SUV out of the parking lot and out into the hectic Seattle traffic. Neither of you bother to make conversation, so Tyler switches on the radio to some random hip-hop channel.
"If you're not into the station, I'll change it here in a bit." Tyler speaks up after a couple of songs pass.
"This one is fine." You reply with a shrug.
Silence falls over the two of you again as the SUV flies down the road in the dark. You grow bored pretty fast and hum along to the radio for a bit while you scroll through your phone. What you don't notice is Tyler glancing your way once in a while as you quietly sing along to the radio when a good song comes in.
A couple of hours into the ride, Tyler stops off at some gas station in some nowhere off-ramp town.
"I'm gonna use the bathroom and grab some food." Tyler explains as he turns the car off.
"Cool. I'll do the same." You nod and unbuckle yourself out of your seat.
You and Tyler head inside and he heads to the bathroom while you make a b-line for the snack aisle. You grab an energy drink from one of the fridges on the back wall, then start looking through the chips and other salty snacks on the shelf in front of you.
Tyler comes back from the bathroom a few minutes later and you see him grab the same brand of energy drink out of the fridge as you from the corner of your eye. You pick out a small bag of chips before moving to the candy aisle for something sweet.
Once you've collected a nice round-up of snacks, you head up to the check-out and set everything onto the counter. Tyler comes up from behind you and sets his stuff down as well, and you can't help but notice that your choices in snacks are almost identical.
You fish out your wallet from your pocket to pay for your snacks but Tyler shoulders in front of you before you can pull it out of the confines of your pocket.
"I got it." Tyler mumbles as he pushes past you.
You stumble back a couple of steps as Tyler hands a couple of bills over to the cashier. The cashier takes the cash and returns some change to Tyler who pockets the extra's and grabs his stuff off the counter.
"...Thanks." You give Tyler a quick thank you as he steps passed you with his food and drink in hand.
You grab your stuff off the counter and follow Tyler back out to the car in silece. Tyler sets his stuff inside the car and turns back around to pump some gas before the two off you depart. You stop in front of the car and frown.
"You should have let me at least pay for some gas." You complain, feeling like a leech.
"Nah. It's my rental." Tyler replies as he leans against the side of the car. "Don't worry about it." He assures you.
You huff out a breath and watch the screen on the pump climb in price. "Well do you at least want me to drive for a while?" You ask Tyler, tired of feeling halpless this whole trip.
"Nah." Tyler replies again nonchalantly. "We're more than halfway there. It's fine." He insists.
"Whatever." You grumble to yourself at Tyler's aloofness and climb back into the passenger side of the car.
You climb into the passenger seat and settle into your spot. You glance out the window at Tyler as he finishes up pumping gas. Your phone buzzes and you check your messages. You find a text from Skye waiting for you.
-How the trip going?
-fine I guess. hes just so cold. idk what to do
-hang in there babe! u got this!
-I'll try. wish me luck!
Tyler climbs back into the car and you put your phone back into your pocket. He switches the car back on and pulls back onto the road.
Tyler drives for about another hour in silence before you can't take it anymore. You glance over at him and muster up the courage to say something.
"Are you sure that you don't want me to drive?" You ask. "I'm more than happy to take over for a while." You assure him.
"I've got it." Tyler shakes his head. "Besides, we're almost there."
You nod and bite the inside of your lip. "Are you sure?" You speak up again. "You've been driving for like 4 hours straight." You remind him.
"I'm fine, Y/N." Tyler insists. "If you want to help with something you can do me a solid and crack open my drink for me." He suggests.
"Yeah, sure." You nod and crack open his drink for him. "You need me to hand feed you Dorito's too?" You quip.
Your eyes are fixed on the road so you don't see the hint of a smile crack on Tyler's face at your quip.
Silence once again overtakes the car ride until you and Tyler finally make it to the hotel at around 1am. You grab your bags and head inside to the front desk. You get checked into your shared room and are given two keycards, giving one to Tyler when he joins you in the lobby.
The two of you head up to the room in silence. You make it into the room first and set your bags down onto one of the queen beds in the room. Tyler takes the other bed and the two of you silently unpack.
"I'm going to grab a quick shower before I go to sleep." You inform Tyler as you fish your sleepwear out of your bag.
You grab your comfy oversized tshirt and the comfy underwear you like to sleep in and head into the bathroom. Tyler unpacks his bag and changes into some more loose-fitting sweats before setting his bags down onto the floor and climbing into his bed for the night.
Tyler plugs in his phone and scrolls through it for a while. He can hear you singing to yourself from the bathroom and cracks a small smile.
"There's still hot water if you want to rinse off." You come out of the bathroom a bit later, toweling off your hair.
"I'll shower in the morning." Tyler shrugs and looks up from his phone at you as you discard your towel into the bascket sitting by the bathroom door.
You shrug and climb into your bed. "Suit yourself. I'm going to bed." You plug in your phone to your charger and switch the bedside lamp off.
Tyler does the same and you both get some sleep.
Much later into the morning you are woken up by the sound of someone rummaging around the hotel room. You yawn and prop yourself up in bed and check the time on your phone. 7am.
"Please don't tell me that you're a morning person?" You groan and sit up in bed.
You rub the sleep from your eyes and find Tyler digging through his bags for his gym clothes. Your breath hitches in your throat when your eyes land on his bare back, muscles flexing and moving with every movement. His sweats hang low on his hips, and you can only imagine what they look like from the front.
"Always have been." Tyler answers your question. "I'm going to change and then head to the gym for a couple of hours." He explains.
"Okay." You nod and stretch your arms above your head. "I think I'm just going to hang out here for a couple more hours. Maybe grab some breakfast."
Tyler nods and you watch him walk off with his gym bag slung over his shoulder. You lay in bed for another hour or so before you decide to get dressed and grab something to eat. You pull a cute outfit from your bag and strip off your sleeping shirt in front of your bed.
You switch your underwear and bra and are in the middle of squeezing into a pair of jeans when the door clicks open.
"I'm back. You in here?" Tyler steps through the door as you move to grab something to cover yourself up with. "Oh, sorry. I'll just, step back out." Tyler see's that you're changing and retreats back into the hall.
You pull your shirt over your head and call for Tyler to come back inside the room. He cautiously comes back through the door and tosses his bag onto the floor.
"Sorry, YN. I didn't mean to barge in on you." He apologizes for almost catching you naked. "I guess I should have knocked." He muses.
"It's fine." You shrug and zip your suitcase back up. "My ring gear is way more provocative, right?" You joke. "I was just going to grab breakfast at that place across the street. You're welcome to come if you want."
Tyler nods and grabs a fresh hoodie from his bag. He pulls it over his head and gets the door for you. "Sure, I could eat."
You and Tyler head over to the diner and eat in a comfortable silence. You eventually get him to casually chat with you about some stuff and learn that the two of you share a few hobbies.
After your breakfast has finished you reach for your bag to fish your wallet out of it and pay the bill. Tyler spots your gesture and grabs your hand that's still on the table.
"Hey, I've got it, YN." Tyler insists.
"Again?" You look back up at him with narrowed eyes. "Are you sure? I'm kind of starting to feel like a mooch." You admit, but you can see that Tyler doesn't plan on changing his mind any time soon. "Can I at least get the tip?" You ask him.
Tyler cracks a small grin and nods, letting go of your hand. "Sure." He agrees to let you leave a tip.
You smile happily and pull a couple of bills out of your wallet. You leave them on the table and head out with Tyler back to the hotel room. The two of you have different schedules for the show so you part ways for a few hours.
Much later into the night you are packed up and getting ready to head back to the hotel. You stop outside the arena where there are some fans grouped up and waiting to see some of the people from the show. You run into them and agree to sign a couple of things and take a few photos with some of the girls hanging out.
"What about me, beautiful?" One of the guys with the group of girls breaks through the crowd and approaches you. "Can I get a picture too?" He asks you with a cocky grin.
Reluctantly, you nod and agree to a photo. Normally you'd never agree to take a photo with some tool like this. But you don't want to make a scene in front of the girls that were being polite and waited so long to have a chance at meeting you.
"Sure, why not. One wont hurt, right?" You gesture for the guy to step next to you.
The guy eagerly fishes his phone out of his pocket and steps over to you. You force a smile on your face as he slings an arm around you for the picture. The scent of his nasty colonge assaults your senses but you bear it and wait for the photo to be taken.
The fan pulls you into his side as close as he can get and goes to take the photo. His hand thats slung over the back of your shoulders slides down your back and stops dangerously close to your ass.
You grimace and step away from the fan, intent on telling him off. But someone beats you to the punch. "Hey! What the fuck? Get off of her!" Tyler suddenly appears and stomps towards you and the fanboy.
The fanboy scoffs and turns to confront Tyler. "Excuse me? Do you mind, man? I'm trying to get a picture!" He nods toward you.
"Looks more to me like you were trying to cop a feel." Tyler replies and steps between you and the fanboy.
"What it to you?" The fanboy sneers. "You her boyfriend or something?"
You grab Tylers arm thats posistioned toward you and catch his attention. "Ty, it's fine." You assure him. "Come on. Let's just get out of here." You tug gently on his arm. "He's not worth getting into a brawl over. He's a loser." You shoot a glare at the fanboy. "Who thinks that he's way cooler than he is. Trust me bro, these girls? They know you're a loser too." You nod toward the group of girls standing silently a few feet away.
"Whatever, bitch." The fanboy snarls at you and Tyler takes a step toward him.
"Ty, come on." You give Tyler's arm another tug and he backs off the fanboy.
Tyler turns back toward you and the two of you walk off. "Whatever man. Let's get out of here, YN. Before I change my mind." He lets you drag him off.
"You two make a cute couple!" One of the girls in the group shouts as you drag Tyler away from the crowd.
You and Tyler glance at one another and you let go of his arm. You turn away first to hide the blush on your cheeks and don't notice Tyler's sly little smile.
"Thanks for having my back, Tyler." You thank him. "You're not so bad after all, mister cold-hearted badboy." You knock into his side playfully.
"I got your back, YN. No sweat." Tyler knocks back into you with a grin.

● Hook x Reader ●
• SMUT 18+
Summary: Ethan Page breaks off his engagement with you. Taz takes you in and introduces you to Tyler. Tyler teaches Ethan a lesson about blowing up your phone.
_________________________________________
I walk into me and Ethan's locker room very excitedly. He is sitting on the couch.
"Hey baby! Did you see my match? I won my first match here!"
He doesn't say anything looking at his phone and I look at him puzzled. I sit on the coffee table infront of him looking at him.
"Did you hear me?"
He doesn't look up or say anything again. I put my hand on his arm trying to get his attention. He smacks my hand away looking up at me. I pull my hand to my chest.
"Owww what was that for?"
He stands up looking down at me. I start breathing heavy looking up at him.
"We are done Y/N."
"Done?"
"Yes. Done. Now give me MY engagement ring."
"W...what?"
I look down at my ring than back up at him. He has his hand out waiting for it.
"Why Ethan?"
"I have found someone better than you."
Those words broke me. I slowly take off my ring and put it in his hand. He scoffs ripping the ring out of my fingers.
"You're so pathetic. And useless."
I look down at the floor not wanting to look at him. He gathers his things together still belittling me the whole time.
"So much happier that I found someone who will care for me and actually do what I say. Don't call me. Don't text me. Don't even think about me."
He leaves the room slamming the door behind him. I feel the tears start to pour out of your eyes. I lean down into my knees and start crying. 20 minutes go by, I hear someone knock on the door. I ignore it thinking it's Ethan. I hear the door open but continue crying into my knees.
"Y/N. Honey. What's going on?"
I feel a hand start rubbing my back. I sit up still semi crying, looking up to see Taz sitting on the couch. He rubs my shoulder looking at me.
"What happened Y/N? I had to come looking for ya because you had an interview but didn't show up. What happened honey?"
I sniffle wiping my face and lifted my hand up to show my bare hand. His eyes go wide seeing my ring is gone. I start crying again. He stands up pulling me up into a hug. I start crying into his chest while he rubs my back.
"Honey. It will be okay. I'm here for you. You know you are like family to me. If you don't have anywhere to live, you can live at my house. I'll even help get your stuff out of his apartment."
I sniffle wiping my face again looking up at him.
"You mean that? I mean I do need a place to live but I also have a cat if that's okay. And I would feel better if you did come with to get my stuff."
"You and your cat are welcome to stay. Now let's go get your stuff and your kitty!"
I grab my bag and follow him out of the locker room, to the parking garage and to his car.
_________________________________________
*at the apartment*
I get out of the car and walk over to the door to get into the apartment with Taz and one of his "helpers" right behind me. I take a deep breath and unlock the door. I walk in with them behind me and walk around not seeing Ethan anywhere. I start telling them what is mine and what is his. They start taking my stuff to their trucks. I get my cat backpack and walk to my bedroom looking for him.
"Oliver? Where are ya buddy?"
He runs and jumps on the bed with a little meow. I slightly smile looking at him.
"Well buddy. We are going for a little trip."
I pick him up, put him in the backpack and carry him out to Taz's truck putting him on the backseat. I go back in and pack all my stuff up from every room. I hand Taz's "helper" the last box than turn around in the doorway looking around. I sigh and tear up a little. Taz comes up behind me and puts a hand on my back.
"Y/N it's time to go."
He points to Ethan's car pulling into the parking lot. I throw the key into the apartment, close the door and walk over to the truck. Taz follows behind me watching Ethan the whole time. I get in the truck, close the door and watch Taz stand infront of his truck putting the window down to hear the. His "helper" comes around and stands next to him. Ethan walks over to them.
"What are you doing here? And why do you have my girl?"
Taz scoffs looking at him.
"Your girl? Last I checked, you broke off your engagement and broke her heart. So no she ain't your girl anymore. And we came to help her move out."
Ethan rolls his eyes and crosses his arms.
"That girl is all talk. She always says she is gonna move out and leave me. But I know Y/N. She would never leave me. No matter how bad I treat her. She always stays with me."
Taz and his "helper" move closer to Ethan. Ethan takes a step back.
"Like I said, we came to help her move out."
Ethan laughs and walks over to the apartment door, unlocks it and walks inside. Taz gets into his truck starting it and his "helper" gets into his. Ethan comes back outside screaming and waving his hands. He walks over to the driver's side tapping on the window. Taz looks at me and I nod. He rolls down the window slowly looking at Ethan.
"Taz! Where is......."
He looks over at me in the passengers seat.
"Y/N! Get your ass in that apartment right now!"
I look away from him starting to feel tears coming to my eyes. Taz looks at Ethan and shakes his head.
"I meant what I said. She's moving out. Now goodbye."
Taz rolls up the window and shifts into drive which causes the doors to lock. Ethan runs over to the other side of the truck trying to open the door. Taz hits the gas and leaves the parking lot. I take a deep breath when we hit the road.
"Honey. It will be okay. He can't hurt you anymore."
_________________________________________
*at Taz's house*
I get out of the truck getting Oliver's backpack making sure he is okay. I put him on my back and walk to the front of the truck. Taz is standing there waiting for me. I look at his house noticing cameras and security guards everywhere. I look over at him.
"Your house is so gorgeous but why do you have so many cameras and security guards?"
He laughs putting a hand on my shoulder.
"I'll tell ya later about that. For now, let's get inside so I can show ya your room."
I slightly smile and follow him inside. We walk inside and my eyes go wide looking at how beautiful everything is.
"Taz are you sure I can stay here?"
"Of course! Wait until you see your room!"
He grabs my hand and pulls me up the stairs, down the hallway and I hear loud music coming from one of the rooms. I look at Taz and he laughs a little.
"That's my son Tyler. You will meet him soon. I think you two are about the same age."
"I'm 24."
"Oh so is he. Wait. You're 24? Why were you with Ethan? Isn't he like 10 years older than you?"
I roll my eyes and look at him.
"I'll tell you about that later. For now, wanna show me my room?"
"Oh and your a comedian too? I like you already!"
I giggle and we walk into my new room at the end of the hallway. I gasp at how beautiful the whole room looks. Taz pats my shoulder.
"So you don't need much of the furniture you brought with you. But don't worry. You can decorate the room however you want. And all your other belongings will be brought up to your room for you."
"Taz I don't know how to thank you enough for everything you are doing for me."
He looks at me and smiles.
"Join me, my wife and my son for dinner tonight. We are going to a restaurant. So you can dress casually just not like a bum."
I giggle sitting down on the bed.
"You got it. As long as my clothes get up here soon."
He laughs and walks out closing the door behind him. A couple hours go by and my belongings are all brought to my room. I organize and put everything away. I set up a corner for all of Oliver's belongings as well. I go through my clothes trying to find something to wear. I settle with a black crop top, some ripped up jeans and some black high top sneakers. I put my deer skull necklace on and fix my tongue piercing. I look at myself in the mirror in my personal bathroom attached my room. I straighten my hair to go with my outfit. I smile looking in the mirror.
"This is the first time I have felt good about how I look in a long time. I am going to have a great time tonight."
I hear a knock on my door and walk over to the door opening it to see Taz. He smiles looking at me.
"Well look at you! Feeling better already!"
"I am feeling better. Thank you."
"Ready to go? My wife and son left already to get us a table."
"I am ready."
I walk out closing my door following him downstairs and to his truck. He opens the door for me and I get in. He walks around getting in and heads down the driveway and to the restaurant.
_________________________________________
We get to the restaurant and he parks next to his wife's car. Taz looks over at me.
"Look. I told my wife I was bringing you along but my son doesn't know."
I look over at him smiling a little.
"Taz... are you trying to set me up with your son?"
"Maybbeeee....."
"Taz I just got out of...."
"Y/N. Honey. I know you just got out a relationship. But I know my son. He wouldn't dare hurt a woman. And honey. You need a real man anyways."
We both laugh and get out of his truck. We walk over to the table. Tyler's back is facing me and he is looking down at the menu on the table. Taz's wife stands up and hugs me.
"You must be Y/N. Taz talks so good about you."
I hug her back and smile.
"Yup that's me."
Taz points next to Tyler and I sit down next to him. Taz sits next to his wife and kicks Tyler's leg.
"Yo what was that for?"
"We have company."
"I dont....."
He looks over at me and stops talking. I giggle looking at him.
"You don't what son?"
"HI I'm Y/N. You must be Tyler."
Tyler nods his head yes just staring at me. I nervous giggle looking at him.
"Okaayyy"
"Anyways what is everyone hungry and thristy for?"
I look through the menu trying to decide on something to eat. The waitress comes over and takes our drink orders. She comes back with the drinks than takes our food orders. She leaves and Taz looks over at me and Tyler.
"So son. Y/N had her first match on AEW yesterday."
Tyler looks directly over at me. I look back at him smiling.
"I did and I won!"
"Congrats."
I look over at Taz with a puzzled look.
"Does he ever show any emotion?"
Taz laughs and Tyler quickly turns his head towards me. I look back at him with a stone cold look on my face. Tyler smirks and looks down. I shrug my shoulders and feel my phone buzz in my pocket. I pull it out and see a message from Ethan.
Why haven't you come back to the apartment yet? We need to talk.
I put it away and look up to see Taz looking at me. I slightly bite my lip trying not to cry.
"Was it him again?"
I shake my head yes and he sighs. Our food comes and we start eating our dinner.
_________________________________________
*2 weeks later*
Laying in my bed with Oliver, I am looking through the thousands of messages Ethan has sent me. I don't even tear up anymore. I've been thinking a lot about everything that happened and to me, I am starting to heal and get better from it. I know I don't want to go back to Ethan. I have been having fun hanging out with Taz and his family. Tyler and I are kinda flirty with each other but I am trying to take it slow. My phone buzzes and another message comes through.
Y/N. Babygirl. Please talk to me. I miss you. I want us back.
I roll my eyes closing my phone. I hear a knock on my door and get up. I open the door expecting Taz but instead it's Tyler.
"Oh hey Ty. What's up?"
"My parents are going out. So I am going to make some steak and mashed potatoes. Would you like some?"
"I would love some. Could I join you in the kitchen?"
"Yeah sure."
I follow him down to the kitchen. He grabs a pan out of the cabinet along with a pot for the potatoes. He gets everything out on the counter. I walk over and lean on the counter looking at him.
"Could I help ya with anything?"
"Not right now."
I move closer to him and put my head on his shoulder to be annoying.
"Cmoonnnn Ty."
"Okay okay. Let me find something for you to do."
He pulls a chair over from the island and sets it next to the oven.
"Sit here and look pretty."
I huff and sit in the chair.
"I don't like this. I wanna help with something. Please. I don't want you to just sit here and....."
I get cut off by Tyler grabbing my face and kissing me. My eyes go wide than close, kissing him back. He pulls back looking at me putting his hand on my throat.
"Now just sit there and look pretty like a good girl."
I shake my head yes looking at him wide eyed. He goes back to making dinner. I bite the inside of my lip squeezing my legs together watching him. He looks over at me and slightly smirks.
"You okay over there?"
"Oh me? Yeah.... I'm okay."
"Never had anyone put you in your place before huh?"
"Not like that. Never been called a good girl either."
"Good to know."
He laughs and finishes up making dinner. He sets everything up on the island for us. I move my chair closer and he sits on the other side. I look over at him smiling.
"Thank you for this Ty."
"Well I have something to tell ya."
"What's up?"
"I told my parents to go out because I wanted to make you dinner and maybe this could be like our little date night. We could eat dinner than go to my room to watch a movie."
"So you planned a date night for us but didn't even tell me it was a date night? Cmon. I'm still in my pajamas."
I giggle looking at him. He looks at me slightly smiling.
"You are okay with it being a little date night?"
"Of course Ty."
"Oh and Y/N?"
I look up at him slightly smiling starting to eat some mashed potatoes.
"I was also wondering if you would....."
"Yes."
"I didn't even finish my sentence. I was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend? My dad told me about your ex so if you still need more time, I get it."
"Tyler. I am way over that guy. It's a yes."
"Yes! That makes me so happy!"
I giggle and we continue to eat dinner. My phone buzzes three more times on the island. Tyler looks over at me.
"Whose that?"
"The ex."
I roll my eyes finishing up eating.
"He has been texting you for 2 weeks now?"
"I have like over a thousand messages from this guy."
We get up putting our dishes in the sink and cleaning up the kitchen.
"That's crazy."
He grabs my waist and pulls me into him. I put my arms around his neck.
"But don't worry. I have a few ideas of how to get rid of him."
"I don't wanna worry about him right now. I wanna worry about our date."
He smiles, grabs my arm and pulls me up to his room. We walk into his room and he flops down on his bed. I sit down on the other side looking around his room. He grabs my sides and pulls me over to him. I turn on my side and lay my head on his shoulder with his arm around my neck. I pull out my phone and look at him.
"Could I take a picture of us and post it?"
"Of course babe."
I turn on my camera and take a cute picture of us laying in bed together. I post it on Twitter with the caption "He made me dinner and than asked me to be his girlfriend! What a gentleman."
"Oh that's definitely gonna piss some people off."
"I don't care. I'm happy with you."
He leans over me and kisses me. I put my hand on his cheek and kiss him back. He pulls back laying back down and looks through the movies on the TV. He finds a movie and puts it on. He moves me off of him and sits up taking his shirt off. I bite my lip a little.
"Sorry I just always like to have my shirt off in my room. Or clothes for that matter."
I giggle and look at him still biting my lip.
"I am the same way."
"Than take your clothes off."
I look at him with wide eyes. He looks at me and smiles a little. I slowly take off my shirt exposing my breasts since I wasn't wearing a bra. I hear him suck in some air looking at me which makes me giggle. I stand up and slowly take off my shorts also not wearing underwear.
"Holy fuckkkkk."
He gets up, comes over to me and runs his fingers through my hair gripping some. I bite my lip looking at him.
"What a good girl."
I gulp still looking at him biting my lip.
"Now get on your knees."
I slowly drop to my knees while he keeps a hold of my hair making me look up at him.
"Ya like this babygirl?"
I shake my head yes looking up at him. He smirks letting go of my hair and slowly takes his shorts off. I gulp seeing his cock flop out of his shorts. He smirks looking down at me.
"Now you are going to take my dick down your throat like a good girl."
I hear my phone buzz on the nightstand. Tyler grips up my hair making me look up at him.
"Did you hear me?"
"Yes Daddy."
He bites his lip looking down at me.
"Good girl."
I open my mouth wide sticking out my tongue.
"And you have a tongue ring? Fuckkkkk."
I laugh looking up at him. He grips my hair again making me open my mouth wide with my tongue hanging out. He slaps his dick against my tongue a couple times making me moan a little. He starts slowly shoving his dick down my throat. He shoves it all the way down making me gag really hard than pulls it back out. I cough a few times, tears coming out of my eyes but I still open my mouth wide for him again. He slowly shoves it all the way down my throat again making me gag than pulls it back out.
"What a good fucking girl."
I look up at him, spit hanging my mouth and a couple tears rolling down my face. He pats my cheek smirking. My phone starts ringing on the nightstand. Tyler turns around and grabs my phone.
"Oh look who it is."
He looks down at me and smirks.
"I have an idea. Keep sucking and gagging on my dick baby."
"What's your idea?"
"What did I just say?"
"Yes daddy."
I grab his dick and start sucking on it. He moans and grabs my hair. My phone starts ringing like a videochat. I look up at Tyler with his dick all the way down my throat.
"What a good job. You got it all the way down without gagging."
Tyler answers my phone without me knowing. The camera is facing him.
"Y/N! I knew you would soon answer.......me? Tyler why do you have Y/N's phone? Where is she?"
I start sucking his dick faster looking up at him. He moans a little smirking at Ethan.
"Oh she has been a little preoccupied with her time."
"What do you mean?"
Tyler turns the camera around while I have his dick shoved all the way down my throat again. Tyler let's out a moan.
"Are you fucking kidding me?! That is my fiance! Not your new girlfriend!"
I pull his dick out and slap it against my tongue a few times looking up at the camera. Tyler laughs watching Ethan freak out on camera.
"Alright Ethan. Unless you wanna watch me fuck the shit out of MY GIRL, I suggest you hang up and never call her ever again."
"Are you fucking kidding me?! Whatever! Bye!"
He hangs up and Tyler puts my phone on the nightstand. I stand up looking at him. He comes over, wipes my face and smiles.
"Now for the fun part."
The enddddddd

Just caught something else while watching a non-commercialized replay...
During one of the picture-in-picture breaks, Hangman starts yelling at RVD (who's in the ring) from the apron then goes back to the corner & Hook starts talking to him. Taz says Hook is telling Hangman "like, dude, relax" & comments about Hangman being so "tensed up right now."
Then Excalibur says, "Rob Van Dam & Hook might actually have something for that.."
(with this as the screenshot at that exact moment.. which I also found hilarious bc it's almost like Hook knew what was just said...) 😏
You can hear Taz laughing & after about 5 seconds or so he says, "I have no idea what you're referencing..."
“nobody gets higher than rob van dam” and everyone on commentary just cracking up was the epitome of dads thinking their dad jokes are the funniest thing in the world lmao

it all happened so fast
and the both of you were still so young
months away from eighteen and the prospects of parenthood already dawning on you
you must admit the tears you cried when you found out you were pregnant were not that of joy
you had spent an hour or so in the bathroom that morning
worrying about how your parents would react
how they would think you’ve essentially ruined your life
more importantly, you dreaded what tyler would think
you were reluctant to come clean at first
for he had hopes and dreams that had nothing to do with parenthood
admittedly he was shocked when you told him, although the prospect of becoming a father sent him over the moon with joy
much the same when you told his parents, his father especially who delighted in the thought of becoming a grandfather
even lecturing his son about doing right by you and putting a ring on your finger as soon as he could
your parents had differing opinions on the topic
your father seemed hesitant but was overall accepting
your mother however, having been in the same position when she was your age, thought that going down the same route would be a huge mistake
tyler spent every waking moment taking care of your throughout your pregnancy
making sure you would not need to do so much as lift a finger
at nights he’d hold you close, keeping a secure hand on your growing baby bump
some times even talking to it as if your child was already with you
you must say that the duration of your pregnancy was not exactly smooth sailing
there were a couple of scares here and there but nothing out of the ordinary
those nine months flew by fast and you soon held your baby boy in your arms
he was definitely a spitting image of tyler
from the warm hazel irises to the light honey-brown tufts of curls
his son was his pride and he would take him everywhere
tyler was always very stone faced but as soon as he saw your son, his eyes would light up instantly
his smile grew wide with joy as he engulfed the little boy in his arms
he frequently expresses how he would like to have more kids eventually
stating that your son deserves a little sibling to play with
if it were up to tyler he’d already have three more children at this rate.
the baby fever got to him more than it did to you

Hook jogged up the few steps onto the porch of his sister’s house. Raising his fist his knuckles collided against the wooden door echoing throughout the house. Hook smiled hearing the pounding sound of feet running towards the door, he braced himself to get tackled by little children.
The door swung open revealing two small kids. “Uncle Hook!” They both screamed, rushing towards him.
“Hey you little boogers!” Hook bent down picking his five year old nephew, Nicky and three year old niece, Taylor up. His biceps flexed as he held the children in each arm. “You two causing any trouble?” Hook entered the house, kicking the door shut behind him.
“Nooo!” Nicky had a grin on his face as he giggled.
Hook entered the kitchen seeing his sister rush around. “No my butt, they’re both little trouble makers.” Hook smiled as his sister was fixing her ear ring.
“I’m so sorry to contact you on such short notice.” She looked through her purse making sure she had everything.
“You’re fine, Ash.” Hook bounced both kids in his arms making them squeal in giggle. “I’m just glad you caught me on a day when I wasn't wrestling.” Hook dances around the kitchen, making the children giggle at his movements.
“I owe you one, it’s been awhile since I’ve been out.” She paused looking at her children. “By myself.” She mumbled the last part.
Hook frowned, he knew where his older sister was coming from. She didnt have the freedom like he did, traveling everywhere and going to bars almost every weekend. It also didn’t help that she too had to take care of him when they were growing up. With their father being Taz, he wrestled all throughout their childhood and mom was somewhat around if she wasn’t on a bender.
“You don’t have to owe me anything, sis.” Hook set the little ones down, having them rush about chasing one another around the kitchen counter. “I mean, I was going to come and visit you guys anyways.”
“I wanted you to come and visit when I’m not out trying to get drunk and have a one night stand.” Ash huffed, applying another coat of lipstick on.
Hook only shrugged, still understanding that she was a woman with priorities and being a single mother Ash wasn’t at clubs or hanging out with her friends at coffee shops. She was mostly at doctors appointments or doing some type of baby stuff to make the kids learn and grow.
The doorbell rang throughout the house making Hook arch his eyebrow looking over at his sister. “You order pizza?” Hook stomach growled at the talk of food.
Hook heard the door being open and the kids squealing loudly. “It’s Y/N!”
“Oh shit.” Ash said, face palming herself.
“Who’s, Y/N?” Hook asked, following his sister into the living room.
“Hi guys!” You got down onto your knees, hugging the two kids that rushed into your arms. “I miss you two.” You smiled as they giggled and told you they missed you too.
“Shit, Y/N. I forgot that you’re babysitting.” Ashlyn said, making you look up at her with an arched eyebrow.
You got up from your knees, standing. “Forgot?” You questioned, your eyes shifting behind her to see a slim built male and messy brown hair behind your friend.
“Yeah, my brother here is babysitting the kids tonight, he’s in town and I forgot to text you to cancel. Maybe you can come out to the club with me?” Ash smiled widely and wiggled her eyebrows. “You can be my wing girl and help me get laid.”
You smiled at the thought, it has been awhile since you’ve been out and being out of a two year long relationship you did need to blow off some steam. “That actually sounds-”
“No! No! Y/N, stay!” Taylor tightly hugged your leg, pressing her cheek against you. You looked down at the little girl then back up at your friend.
“Taylor, I’m sure Y/N here has other plans for the night. Your uncle is here now.”
“Uncle?” You asked under your breath.
“No! Double babysit, both stay!” Nic pouted, stomping his feet.
Ashlyn pinched the bridge of her nose and let out a loud sigh as her children were now pouting and on the verge of throwing a tantrum. “I don’t mind staying.” You smiled over at Ashlyn’s brother who seemed to not have his eye leave you for one second. “I’m Y/N, by the way.”
“This is my uncle Hook!” Nic rushed towards Hook and hugged his leg, giggling.
Hook cleared his throat and extended his arm out for you to shake his hand. “My friends call me Hook, but my real name is Tyler.”
You grabbed onto his soft hand, giving it a shake and him a smile. “Nice to meet you, Tyler.”
“Please, call me Hook.” He flashed you a smile.
“Hook.” You nodded, saying his nickname as it rolled off the tip of your tongue. “Nice to meet you, Hook.”
“Okay, well. I am leaving. You two have fun on double duty and I’ll be out until early morning or whenever I feel like coming back.” Ashlyn slung her purse over her shoulder, bending down and kissing her childrens forehead. “You two will be good tonight, understood?”
“Yes mommy.” Both children said at the same time and hugged their mother before she left.
“There’s money on the counter to order a pizza, don’t let them stay up too late or too much sugar!” Ashlyn waved goodbye, snagging her car keys as she was out the door.
“So, what shall we do first?” You asked the two kids who grinned widely at you.
“Tag!” They both said at the same time.
Nick slapped your thigh showing that you were ‘it’ as he started to run as fast as he could away from you. Taylor squealed loudly as she ran away from you too.
You looked at Hook with a smirk on your face as his eyes widened and he bolted out of the living room. Chasing after him, you jumped over toys and other obstacles around you.
The back door burst open as Hook, Nicky and Taylor all screamed running to the backyard. You tapped at Taylors shoulder running past her only for her to giggle and squeal loudly. Her eyes went to Hook who was running in slow motion for Taylor to tag him.
“You’re it!” She laughed loudly, slapping the back of Hook’s leg, not knowing her own strength.
“I’m gonna get you, Nicky!” Hook jogged behind the younger boy. Nick laughed and screamed trying to run away from Hook. His laughter soon became heavy coughs as he stopped running. “Tag, you’re it!” Hook tapped Nick on the top of his head.
Nick stopped in his tracks, coughing hard as he was trying to catch his breath. Your attention went to Nick as you quickly rushed towards him. “What happened?”
“I- I don’t know. I was chasing after him and he was laughing and then he started to cough.” Hook sounded worried, he didn’t know what was wrong with his nephew.
“Shit, hold on. Nicky breath, okay? Keep breathing.” You ran towards the house, leaping over the few steps of the back patio and ran inside. You looked through the medicine cabinet in the kitchen and grabbed an orange inhaler. Rushing back outside, you slid on your knees in the grass to Nick. “Open bubba, open.” You ripped the cap off and placed the inhaler in Nick’s mouth. Pressing down a few times you rubbed his back. “Breath, slow breaths.” You did a few more times until you knew he was breathing easily.
“T- Thank- Thank you.” Nick breathed out.
“Nicky has asthma, he can’t really run too much or it triggers it.” You tousled Nick’s hair.
“I- I didn’t know he had asthma.” Hook frowned, looking down at Nick. “Is he going to be okay?”
“Oh yeah, he’s a tough boy.” You got up on your feet and smiled at Nick who was already running around again playing with his sister. “He just needs to take it easy now, so it’s probably best we don’t play tag anymore.”
Hook nodded with a frown still settled on his face. You bit the inside of your cheek, the tension of Hook feeling guilty about not knowing his nephew had asthma lingered in the air. “Should we order that pizza?” You asked him with a smile, trying to change the subject.
“Pizza sounds great.”
Two large pizza boxes laid out on top of the coffee table. Children plates with half cut eaten pizza laid on the surface of the table. Your feet were propped up on the edge of the coffee table while you were watching the cartoon movie play on the flat screen. You turned your head to see Nicky and Taylor in between you and Hook fast asleep.
“Full bellies and their favorite movie on, easy night for us.” You smiled at Hook who nodded.
“I uh, I wanted to thank you for helping Nick out.”
You cocked your head to the side. “Well of course, I look at him like he’s my own nephew.”
You could see Hook sucking the side of his cheek. “No, you don’t understand. I…” Hook paused only to inhale a breath and exhale out. “I didn’t know Nick had asthma.”
“Oh.” You looked at the sleeping boy who mumbled a few words in his sleep.
“If you weren’t here to help him I wouldn’t have known what to do.”
“It’s alright Hook.” You tried to reassure him.
“My job, I’m a professional wrestler so I travel all the time. This is the first time I’ve seen it in over six months.” Hook watched the two siblings. “They’re getting so big.”
“Yeah, it seems like that’s all they do is grow.” You teased. “Come on, let's get them to bed and we can put on an adult movie.” You stood up, easily grabbing Taylor in your arms in a slow and soft manner so you wouldn’t wake her.
“You mean like a rated R movie.” Hook had a smirk on his face that made you blush.
“If you want it to be.” You gushed, you didn’t plan your wording out right, you just meant something that wasn’t a cartoon.
With the two little ones to bed, Hook picked the movie. “Friday the 13th? Really? What are we middle schoolers?” You snickered as you watched the movie.
“Hey this is a classic.” You jumped as the music got intense and Jason came out of nowhere doing a jump scare. “Seems like it still lives to its expectations.”
“It just caught me off guard.” You lied, basically hiding underneath the blanket.
Hook laughed at you, wrapping his arm around your shoulder he pulled you close to him. “Come here.” He whispered. You laid on his chest, hearing his heart pumping against his ribs as your eyes were glued on the screen.
“Seems like you’re scared too from the way your heart is thumping.”
“Not from the movie.” Hook mumbled.
You pulled away from him only to look up at him, he was already looking down at you. His brown eyes shone as the movie in the background became white noise. His face leaned down further towards you as you leaned towards him. Your lips collided against one another in a soft manner.
Moaning softly against his lips, Hook’s tongue slid past yours and explored your mouth. His tongue grazed against yours as you moaned slightly louder. Hook was the first to pull away. “Shh. You don’t want to wake up-”
“Are you two married now?” A tired voice yawned out. You blushed, quickly pulling away from Hook while Hook grabbed the blanket from you and tossed it over his lap. You looked at the blanket and up at Hook whose face was a deep color red and gave you a shy smile. You had no idea you had this effect on him and it was just a kiss.
“What are you doing up, sleepy head?” You asked, quickly pausing the movie so Nick wouldn’t see anything bad.
“TV is too loud.” Nick shuffled towards you and climbed onto the sofa and into your lap.
“Oh, okay Nicky sorry.” You grabbed the remote and put it on a different channel. You clicked Bluey on for the young boy to fall asleep to.
Once Nick’s eyes were shut and his breathing was steady you looked over at Hook. “We can finish what we started later.” You winked at him, making Hook’s face brighten.

summary: the day has finally come where y/n graduates college. however, y/n is more nervous about the fact that today is also the day when she gets to introduce tyler as her boyfriend of 8 years rather than her good friend since elementary” to her parents. she's so nervous, in fact, that she texts tyler during the ceremony and the two go down memory lane.
song: give me your forever by zack tabudlo
[y/n] AHHHH
[tyler] woah there missy. don’t you have a ceremony you should be paying attention to?
[y/n] you’re not even paying attention
[tyler] actually, i am. as soon as they pan the camera over to your family and me, i’m lifting up this giant photo of you they gave to me
[y/n] WHAT FUCKING GIANT PHOTO
[tyler] it’s literally your head on a stick
[tyler] but what’s wrong? i can feel your distress all the way out here
[y/n] i’m nervous
[tyler] all you have to do is walk across a stage, grab your diploma, shake some hands, and you’re done
[tyler] you’ve done it before
[y/n] not that
[y/n] i’m nervous about telling my parents
[y/n] i’m shocked they’re not even questioning that you’re here
[tyler] we’ll be fine
[y/n] you know how they are
[y/n] they’re gonna freak out when they find out you’re my BOYFRIEND of EIGHT YEARS
[tyler] you remember the rule, don’t you?
[y/n] blah blah, no dating until i get my degree because boys will distract me and i’ll fail school and become a drug addict
[tyler] and what are you about to do
[y/n] ??? idk ??? die ?????
[tyler] im the one who dropped out of college to make a living out of beating people up but here you are not even able to connect the dots. i’ll answer for you.
[tyler] you’re about to get your degree.
[tyler] you proved them wrong. you’re not a drug addict and you’re graduating college with a degree in computer science.
[tyler] might i add that you’re also at the very top of your program :) my smart girl
[y/n] still doesn’t mean they won’t flip out
[y/n] yeah i proved them wrong but what if they don’t accept us? accept you?
[tyler] we’re going to be okay, mamas. i’m not going anywhere. nothing is going to happen to us.
[tyler] i promise you.
[tyler] i’ll take care of you.
[tyler] i’ve always taken care of you, mamas. haven’t i?
do you remember? when we were young you were always with your friends wanted to grab your hand and run away from them
“that’s a stupid fucking rule.” tyler muttered, a joint hanging between his lips as he cupped his hand around the end so he could light it.
“you tell me! like, do they really have that little faith in me that they think i’ll fail school all because of a boy? how idiotic is that!” y/n huffed angrily, kicking tanbark up into the air.
tyler was sitting alone at the end of the stairs of the play structure when y/n walked up to him and sat beside him, already beginning to ramble her little head off. it truly bewildered tyler how a girl could have so much trouble with her parents when they were both only eighth graders. then again, tyler was certain his dad would beat his ass until he was bruised and bloodied if he found out the type of crowd that tyler's been involved with, and the shit he was currently doing.
“i think they’re just protective of you and that’s why they have that rule in place.” he answered, inhaling and holding the smoke in his mouth before pulling the joint away from his lips. he held it out for y/n to take, although he knew that she wouldn’t take it. as the girl shook her head politely, tyler inhaled the smoke into his lungs and held it there before blowing out into the air.
“yeah? well i think they’re irrational. god, i wish i could just prove them wrong so that when the day comes that i graduate college, i can laugh in their faces like, ‘jokes on you! i had a boyfriend the whole time!’” she groaned frustratedly, pulling out her phone when she felt it start to buzz. y/n answered the call and held it up to her ear. “yeah, mom. i’m at the same park i always wait at for you to pick me up… yes the club’s good… no i’m not alone, i’m with tyler… you know, my friend from elementary? … mom, he’s not my boyfriend! … no, he’s not a bad influence he’s -“ she took a second to glance over at tyler, watching the boy take another puff from his joint and covering her nose as the wind blew the puff of smoke towards her direction. “he’s just a normal middle school boy, mom. … no, i already told you he’s not my boyfriend! … what do you mean stay away from him? i’ve been waiting at this park every day since i’ve started middle school and he’s been here every day making sure no creep talks to me. he’s a good guy, mom! mom?” she huffed as she shoved her phone back in her pocket, realizing her mom had hung up on her.
“you know, i like the idea of you proving them wrong and laughing in their faces.” tyler pitched in after he blew out the smoke into the air. he looked over at the girl, catching her gaze. “what better way to prove your parents wrong than by dating the ‘baddest boy’ in school, as everyone calls me. your mom seems to think that i’m a bad guy too.” he mused, watching the way y/n seemed to think over tyler’s words.
“are you asking me out?” y/n asked, her eyes suddenly widening at the implication of tyler’s agreement.
he shrugged his shoulders, flicking off the ash at the end of his joint into the tanbark below them. “you’re my friend. you’re cute. i think i’ll be more than okay with dating you. besides,” he began, reaching out to sling his arm over y/n’s shoulders to pull her into his side. “you’ve said it yourself. i’ve been here every day since we’ve started middle school because i know you have your little after-school clubs and would most likely be waiting alone. i’d hate it if some creep came and took away my friend.”
“what’s in it for me?” she asked, feeling her face warm up from being so close next to tyler. she could smell the cheap cologne that clung to his skin, and y/n tried not to lean against him.
but tyler had his own plans, as he leaned in and pressed a kiss to the girl’s forehead. “you get to experience life outside of textbooks and strict parents barring you from parties. i’ll help you sneak out and take the blame for everything.”
she blinked up at him once he pulled away, and y/n wondered how she never noticed tyler’s dimpled smile before.
“you’ve got a deal, senerchia. but i get to make the rules.”
“that’s fine. but don’t think that i won’t take care of you, y/n. you’re my girlfriend now, and my mom taught me how to treat my woman.”
i knew it that it was time to tell you how i feel so i made a move, i took your hand my heart was beating loud like i've never felt before
[y/n] yeah you have
[y/n] even before we started dating LOL
[tyler] can't believe you had no idea i had a massive crush on you
[tyler] what fucking loser just sits around a park and waits for a girl who has after school clubs
[y/n] you. you're the loser.
[tyler] there was another dude
[y/n] jackson??? i remember him being there in the beginning of seventh grade
[tyler] he had a crush on you, that's why he was also waiting
[y/n] you're lying. why am i just now hearing about this?
[tyler] yeah, i told him i was your boyfriend and he backed off and never waited for you again
[y/n] well, at least you didn't punch him like that dude at lisa's party
[tyler] you said it was fair game
[y/n] i didn't think he'd have to go to the hospital because he got concussed!
[tyler] he touched what's mine.
[tyler] you told me i could punch him once, and i made sure it counted.
[tyler] besides, i got pussy afterwards so it's a win
[y/n] oh calm your ego.
[y/n] i can literally SMELL the testosterone radiating from the crowd and it smells like YOU.
[y/n] WAS THAT YOU THAT JUST "AWOOOOO"'D HELLA LOUD
[y/n] HONEY??
[y/n] oh my fucking GOD I SEE MY GIANT ASS HEADS
[tyler] i got that dawg in me
[tyler] woof. (with rizz)
you were smiling at me like you wanted more i think you're the one i've never seen before
"i want to go home." she whispered, her voice almost getting lost amongst the sounds of the bustling party if it wasn't for the way tyler focused on only her. he was so attentive that he'd be hyper fixated on her whenever she'd take a breath.
"everything okay, baby?" tyler asked quietly, taking her cup away from her and setting both of their cups down on the windowsill beside them. he guided her to wrap her arms around his neck before pulling her in by her waist and ducking his head so that she could speak directly into his ear.
the two of them had come far from being eighth graders waiting by a playground for their parents to pick them up. they were now sophomores juniors in high school, if we consider the fact that sophomore year just ended and they were now at a grad party for a friend of tyler's that had just graduated high school. tyler had gotten significantly taller, and his voice had deepened in a delicious manner that sent y/n's head reeling whenever he'd talk to her. y/n for the most part had stayed the same, but the baby fat on her face had started to slim down and tyler tried his best not to let his gaze trail down further to where she had began to look more... womanly... for lack of better words.
they hadn't ever talked about the way their relationship started. from what was once something that y/n had entered to spite her parents had now blossomed into a full blown relationship with tyler that she cherished above everything else in the world. and for tyler? well, the boy had always had a little crush on y/n whether he wanted to acknowledge it or not, and now that she is his, tyler couldn't be any happier.
and the best part? no one knew but them. well, people had speculations and they'd whisper, but y/n and tyler would only ever be so touchy at parties. at school, they didn't even talk to each other because of their different social circles and classes. and when they were asked what they were to each other...
"oh, yeah. she's/he's been my friend since elementary school." followed by either a "my parents told him to make sure i stay safe at parties, that's why he's always with me." or a "we all know she's too innocent for the party life. i gotta make sure no one taints her, you know?" depending on who was answering.
"you know how you stepped away to get us drinks?" she asked softly, feeling him nod his head. y/n took a deep breath, stepping closer to tyler and feeling his arms wrap around her waist. "that dude to the right of us in the flannel walked by me and full on grabbed my ass."
tyler didn't know if it was the disco lighting, but he suddenly saw red at y/n's words and he felt as though he sobered up in a second. his head snapped in the other boy's direction, his jaw clenching and his eyebrows furrowing in concentration as he made out the stranger's frame. tyler pulled her closer to him until she was completely pressed against his front, dipping his head back down to ask her, "what else did he do?"
tyler noted how the other boy had glanced over at where he and y/n stood once he returned, and now tyler knew why. it was taking everything in him to not walk over there right now and plant his fist square in his- "well, he didn’t do anything else besides that. i guess i should be more specific about how he did it though. he like... you know the thing you do? where you put your hand in my back pocket and spin me into a kiss? yeah he tried that and tried smooth talking his way with me. i don't think he was gonna back off until he got pulled away by those two girls he's talking to right now."
if looks could kill, tyler was certain that he'd have burned a hole through the boy's chest and killed him without even needing the other boy to notice the murderous look in his gaze. "can i punch him?"
"tyler!"
"i'm not joking. he fucking touched you, y/n." tyler rested his hands firmly on her hips so he could pull her back from him. he held her gaze, and it as then that y/n could feel her heart get caught in her throat.
tyler looked more than ready to kill for her. she had never seen him this angry before, and if she was being honest, her body seemed to have quite the reaction. "just one." she breathed out before she could even think about the consequences of unleashing tyler on the poor, unsuspecting boy who had made the mistake of trying to hit on the wrong girl.
"sick."
she had already felt slow because of the alcohol in her system, but y/n was certain that even if she was sober, she still wouldn't have been able to process the next minute. "don't fucking touch girls without their consent, asshole!" tyler's voice rang throughout the house, so loud that it could be heard over the blaring music. the next sound that followed was a loud smack as tyler's fist collided with the boy's jaw and laid him out flat on the floor. before she knew it, tyler was already dragging her out of the house while people around them were whispering: "do we call an ambulance?" "he's out cold..." "man, it's a good thing i didn't shoot my shot with her. i would have been in that position." "he's sorta hot for doing that, isn't he?" "that's tyler? no wonder why he's popular with the ladies."
"let's get you home, baby." tyler muttered into the air as he walked down the street to where his car was parked, his hand still tightly holding hers as he practically dragged her along with him.
"wait, slow down." she begged.
he grunted out in frustration, turning on his heel and sweeping the girl off of her feet. tyler carried her bridal style the rest of the way to his car. "i'm fucking pissed. little boy thinks he can touch up on my girl? god, i'm sorry for leaving you alone, baby. never again, i promise." he angrily huffed as he set her down on her feet once they reached his car.
"you're sorta hot when you're angry." she admitted softly as tyler unlocked his car. he was about to open the passenger side door for y/n when she suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck to stop him. she stared up at him, her eyes wide and her lips pulled into a soft smile. “it’s like i have scary dog privileges.” she giggled, crinkles forming by her eyes as her smile grew wider.
his hands were quick to find her waist, feeling his breath get caught in his throat as the moonlight hit her just right to give her a slight sparkle in her eyes. and suddenly, his anger had faded away just as quickly as it arose, replaced with the need to have her in that moment. “we’re not in a rush to go home, right?” he asked softly. he tapped his finger against her side, a sign for her to hop up and wrap her legs around his waist. he hooked his arms under her knees to support her once she did so, and he pinned her to the side of his car.
a blush rose to her cheeks, craning her head to the side as tyler’s lips pressed against the side of her neck. “you know the rules. as long as you get me back before my parents wake up.” she whispered into the air, her eyes fluttering shut as he suckled against her skin.
“that’s more than enough time.” he mumbled against her as he pulled away from her neck so that he could crash his lips against hers.
i want you to know, i love you the most i'll always be there right by your side ‘cause baby, you’re always in my mind just give me your forever (give me your forever)
[y/n] IM SORRY??
[tyler] i accept your apology
[y/n] ugh, weirdo
[tyler] helping with your nerves, mamas?
[y/n] a little
[y/n] do you remember when you first called me mamas
[tyler] of course
[tyler] on your 18th birthday
[tyler] and i got to fuck you raw for the first time because we were both like "AH FUCK IT WE'RE 18, IF WE HAVE A BABY THEN OH WELLL"
[tyler] but then we bought the plan b beforehand just to make sure we wouldn't make a baby
[tyler] s tier sex by the way
[y/n] IT WAS AFTER THAT
[tyler] no, i called you mamas while fucking you
[tyler] and you nearly came from me just calling you mamas even though i just put it in
[y/n] i do not recall
[y/n] this is fake news
[tyler] ok if we're talking nonsexual
[tyler] then yes it was after
[tyler] after you came back to your senses once i filled you to the brim
[y/n] HONEY I CANNOT BE HORNY RIGHT NOW
[y/n] ARENT YOU SITTING NEXT TO MY PARENTS?
[tyler] they're about to find out that i've been fucking their daughter for years and raw dogging her too.
[tyler] also, i'm already sporting a semi out here
[tyler] thinking about how shy you got after i called you mamas when you came down from your high
[tyler] how giggly you got
[tyler] so happy and fucked out
[tyler] never stopped calling you mamas after that, and no matter how many times i call you mamas, you still have the same reaction
[tyler] you're blushing and smiling right now, aren't you?
[y/n] SHUT UP
[tyler] if i remember correctly, i think i told you "you feel amazing, mamas.” the very first time i called you mamas
[tyler] but then after i got you cleaned up and dressed, i told you “i love you, mamas” and you literally melted in my arms it was so cute
[y/n] you remember all this but god forbid you remember where you parked your car in a packed parking garage
[tyler] that's not important
[tyler] i worship you
[tyler] i commit everything that is about you or involves you to my memory
[y/n] there aren't enough words in the universe to explain how much i love you
[tyler] just give me your forever. that’ll be enough.
[tyler] i love you mamas
[y/n] i love you too, honey
[y/n] i can’t wait to spend forever with you
i want you to know that you’ll be the one and i’ll be the guy who’ll be on his knees to say i love you and i need you and say i’d die for you (just give me your forever)
he was kneeling between her spread legs, one of his hands rested on her hip and the other wrapped around his length as he pumped himself slowly. their chests rose and fell in time as breathy sighs filled the room. tyler lined himself up with her entrance, keeping his gaze locked with hers as he spread her arousal over his tip. he pushed in slightly, just so that his tip was nestled in her warmth. the slight intrusion making y/n’s eyebrows furrow together.
he leaned over her body, his hands reaching for hers so he could lace their fingers together as he kept her hands pinned to the pillow besides her head. he held her gaze as he pressed his hips flush against hers slowly, his jaw dropping open at the feeling of her walls clinging around him without a thin layer of latex separating them. once he bottomed out, he stayed there for a moment, his eyes threatening to shut as he felt her walls pulse around his length.
“you feel amazing, mamas.” he whispered, the new pet name falling from his lips so effortlessly. and suddenly, y/n was bucking her hips up against his and squeezing his hands tightly, her mouth dropping with a drawled out whine that tyler knew all too well. he grunted, feeling the familiar feeling of her walls convulsing around him, but the experience had been heightened with the lack of protection separating them. “fuck, you like that, don’t you? you like being called mamas.” he mumbled, pressing a quick gentle kiss to her cheek. tyler pulled out until just his tip was left in her before snapping his hips back into hers.
“feels so good, daddy. give me more.” she moaned out softly, her legs wrapping around his waist as if to pull him in deeper into her.
tyler repeatedly thrusted himself into her, picking up speed as he felt her legs begin to quiver at his sides. he glanced down between their bodies, catching a glimpse of the slick wetness that coated his length whenever he’d pull out of her. his gaze snapped back up to hers as he felt her legs squeeze at his sides in warning. “already close, mamas? daddy’s just getting started.” he grunted over her breathy moans, adjusting his position slightly so he could directly hit her g-spot. when a particularly load moan was pulled from her throat, tyler covered her mouth with his own to swallow her moans.
she knew that fucking without a condom would feel different, but she didn’t expect it to feel like this. y/n could feel the drag of his length inside of her with every thrust, and she struggled to kiss him back. instead, she was focused on the way she could actually feel his length pulsing inside her, and the way the head of his cock kissed her cervix with every thrust.
it wasn’t long before she was shaking her him, her hands squeezing his hands tightly as she moaned loudly against his mouth. her walls clenched down on his length tightly, and the feeling was so intense that tyler had moaned against her mouth. he pulled away from her mouth, focusing on chasing his own high as he let go of one of her hands to guide her to rest her legs up on his shoulders. tyler folded her in half with his body weight, his hand finding hers again as he jackhammered into her.
“you’re such a good bitch for daddy. cumming all over my fucking cock. fuck, i’m so close.” he gasped out, his hands squeezing hers tightly as the familiar knot in his stomach began to tighten. “beg for me, mamas. beg for daddy to fill you up.”
“please daddy. please cum in me. i can’t take it anymore, it’s too much. i just want your cum in me. please daddy.” y/n cried out as she begged for tyler, her back arching off the mattress as he continuously rammed himself into her. tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as her body continued to shake under him with every thrust sending waves of pleasure through her body. “breed me, daddy.”
with a few more thrusts, tyler was burying his face in the crook of her neck, spilling his seed into her with a whimper as his hips sporadically continued to buck into her with each rope of cum that painted her walls.
eventually, he stilled and the two of them were left breathing heavily in time as he fell limp against her body, letting go of her hands so he could hook his arms under her body and wrap them completely around her mid-section.
she wasn’t given a moment to catch her breath before tyler was already pulling out of her and flipping her around. “face down, ass up, mamas. you didn’t think i was just gonna fill you once and be done, did you?” he asked from behind her, helping her lift her hips up and get on her knees. his hand trailed along her spine, watching the way she instinctively arched her back and pushed her hips back against him. “you asked daddy to breed you, so that’s exactly what daddy’s going to do.”
“i feel it dripping.” she whined out in complaint, biting down on her bottom lip to bite back a scream as tyler’s hand came down roughly on her ass.
“don’t worry, mamas. i’ll fuck it back into you.” he grunted, reaching for her hands and pinning them behind her back. tyler watched as his cum continued to drip out of her and onto the mattress, the sight instantly making his head foggy with lust. he rubbed his fingers over her clit, watching as the girl’s pulled away from him from overstimulation. he laughed as he pressed his other hand on the small of her back to keep her in place as he continued to rub circles over her clit, collecting more of his dripping cum on to his fingers.
“oh god.” she cried out as tyler pushed two of his fingers into her, curling them right up into her g-spot.
tyler thrusted his fingers in and out of her, his other hand smacking her ass roughly as she tried to crawl further up along the bed away from him. god’s not here.” he grunted, grabbing at her thigh to keep her from crawling away from him as he scissored his fingers inside of her and making her cry out in pleasure. “cry all you want, bitch. he can’t save you now.” he huffed as he pushed his cum deeper into her, eventually pulling his fingers out of her and lining his cock with her entrance before ramming himself into her once again.
she didn’t know how many times she came that night, or how many times tyler had filled her up. all she knew was that this is the closest to ascending to the heavens that she’d feel in this lifetime. her whole body felt light and tingly, and a fuzzy feeling fogged up her head in the best way possible. a light smile was permanently etched on her face and tyler would tell her that she’d have the most beautiful after-sex glow that he’s seen on her.
he dressed her up after he cleaned her with a towel and gave her the plan b to take. afterwards, tyler peppered kisses over her every inch of her still exposed skin, whispering praises as he did so. and when he made it back up her body and hovered over her, tyler caught her lips in a gentle kiss and kissed her languish manner.
he pulled away and laid down beside her, pulling her into his chest and pulling her blanket over their bodies before wrapping his arms around her frame. “i love you, mamas. happy birthday.” he whispered into her hair before pressing a kiss to the top of her head. tyler smiled as he felt her melt in his arms, her body falling limp against his as her arm draped across his midsection.
she lifted her head, pushing herself up to peck his lips before falling flat against him and closing her eyes. “i love you, honey.” she whispered, her voice hoarse from screaming and moaning into her pillow because she couldn’t hold back her moans by the time tyler was fucking her through her third orgasm.
the next day, after tyler would pick her up just a few hours after sneaking out of her room once she had fallen asleep, he’d laugh in her face as she’d pull out her phone to read the message she typed out for him. “i lost my voice so i can’t talk.” she‘d slap his arm playfully in response, but she’d still smile as he greeted her with a kiss when he was at a stop sign away from her house.
“you should call me mamas more.” was the next message she typed out for him as they were waiting to be seated at a restaurant with her friend group that tyler didn’t know all too well.
“i wasn’t planning on stopping.” he typed back his response before sneakily handing her phone back to her so that her friends wouldn’t see the exchange between them.
as far as her friends were concerned, tyler was tagging along because he’d known y/n the longest out of them and she wanted him to be there. they didn’t mind, because tyler never seemed to talk much during these birthday breakfasts for y/n, and because of that, it made it easy for them to continue on with their antics.
they did, however, find it odd that whenever y/n wanted to speak but couldn’t because she somehow lost her voice - it was tyler who she’d have read out her typed messages.
i never knew it would be possible for you to be with me ‘cause you loved someone else back in ‘73 i was so jealous seeing you with him
[tyler] i can’t wait to put a giant rock on your finger
[tyler] so that when you go to your next 5sos concert, luke hemmings will know you’re taken
[y/n] you’re still on this ??
[y/n] it was like first year of college when i had a massive 5sos phase
[y/n] that’s already so long ago
[tyler] ok and
[tyler] every time you talked to me about how hot luke was, i thought you meant an actual dude you knew named luke that you met here in college that i just didn’t know about.
[y/n] i literally told you it was 5sos luke
[tyler] no you didn’t
[y/n] YES I DID
[y/n] i do think it’s funny that
[y/n] you snapped at me while pacing in a parking lot at the arena
[tyler] it is very funny, i’ll admit that
[tyler] it’s still on sight if i see him too, btw. you better hope i don’t see him when i’m out in la
[y/n] honey
[y/n] i only need you
[tyler] that’s right, mamas
[tyler] you only need me.
oh, baby, i know that i can treat you better back in those nights oh, you wouldn’t cry from his stupid lies oh, baby, i was there watching wishing you to be mine
“luke this. luke that. who the fuck is luke?” tyler finally snapped as he ran his fingers through his hair, frustration laced in his voice as he paced back and forth outside of the arena where all of the aew talent’s rental cars were parked. he was dressed in only a pair of sweats, having been previously getting warmed up and pumped up for his appearance tonight when y/n suddenly called him and he excused himself to answer her.
he’d always answer her. unless he was working, then tyler would simply call her back as soon as he could. even though her calls would range from “serious” reasons to call him (such as, what he’d like for a holiday gift, when he was coming home and if he needed a ride, letting him know she was flying out for a show etc.) to simply telling him about her day or complaining about something that troubled her or just random thoughts she wanted to tell him, tyler would always answer.
between training to wrestle and shadowing his dad and following him on the road with aew, tyler wasn’t home often and he suddenly went from seeing y/n everyday to seeing her once or twice a week. this was the main reason why tyler would always make it a point to answer her calls.
however, for the past week, tyler has been hearing nothing else besides stuff about this luke person and “how hot he sounds” and “ugh i miss when he had his lip piercing.”
he wouldn’t ever think y/n was cheating on him. after all, she was speaking so openly about this luke person that tyler knew that it couldn’t have been someone she was seeing behind his back. but for the life of him, tyler couldn’t remember who the fuck luke was in her friend circle and he thought he knew all of their names.
when the line fell silent on the other end, tyler let out a huff, “hello? love, you still there?”
it was then that he heard her chuckle on the other end of the phone, and she asked him, “woah there angry man. you don’t remember?”
she knew tyler would only ever call her “love” if he was irritated. it was his way of letting her know that although he was most definitely irritated, he still loves her and that she shouldn’t question his feelings for her during their argument.
“clearly i don’t, and for the past week you won’t fucking shut up about this luke guy. do i need to remind you that the only man you need in your life is me?” tyler paused for a moment, even taking a second to stop in his tracks as he ran his own words over in his head. “well, and the other men in your family… and your close friends… but that’s besides the point.” he grunted before continuing to pace back and forth, his hand repeatedly smoothing and ruffling his hair out of habit.
“honey, what do i want for christmas?” she asked him, trying to help him jog his memory.
“ugh. those concert tickets for that one band you’ve liked since middle school.” he answered quickly, reminding himself to make sure he got the time off for when the concert date rolled around so he could tag along with her.
“smart boy. now, what’s the band called?” she asked again, and tyler could practically hear the wide smile that adorned her face.
“fuck if i remember. something with time and a season.” he grunted, stopping in his tracks and pinching the bridge of his nose. tyler squeezed his eyes shut as if it’d assist him in thinking harder.
“5 seconds of summer.” she answered for him with a hum, “i’m going to assume you don’t remember the names of the members even though i’ve pointed at them individually and told you there names and forced you to listen to all their songs with me.”
“why the fuck would i remember shit like that? i remember stuff about you like how these 5 seconds of summer guys are your favorite band. that doesn’t mean i have to remember who they are.” tyler groaned out, feeling his irritation start to bubble over. “where are you even going with this?”
“luke’s the lead singer. remember? the blonde one with the hair like you but he actually knows what a comb is.”
tyler fell silent at her words, and he felt his irritation shift into something else unrecognizable that made his entire body run cold. he opened his eyes and let his hand drop from his nose as he resumed his pacing. “i know what a fucking comb is, mamas.” he grunted, and it was then that y/n blessed his ears with a whole-hearted laugh that had tyler grinning.
y/n apologized softly, “sorry for talking your ear off about him, honey. they released a new-”
“released a new album and you’re very excited about it and judging by how much you’ve been talking about him, you’ve probably gone on your little fangirl spree and watched a bunch of videos, yeah i know.” he finished for her, and he heard her gasp out a soft “ok, maybe you know me a little too well” that had him chuckling. “sorry about getting all snappy with you, mamas. i thought you were talking about some dude you met.”
“what was the thing you said earlier? the only man i need is you?” y/n asked, although she already knew the answer.
“yeah.” he answered.
“you’re right, honey. when it comes to my partner for life, the only man that i need is you. i love you. i’m sorry if i made you feel insecure.” y/n’s tone changed. her voice grew soft as if to let tyler know that she truly was sorry for making tyler feel irritated and potentially insecure with her rambling about another man to him without clarifying that the man she was talking about was simply a celebrity.
“i love you, mamas. and for the record, i’m not insecure. i’m sure i can take that luke guy on anyway. i beat people up for a living.” tyler defended himself as he made his way back inside the arena.
her laugh coming through the speakers was enough for a wide dimpled smile to stretch across his face.
i want you to know, i love you the most i’ll always be there right by your side ‘cause baby, you’re always in my mind just give me your forever (give me your forever)

senior ditch day happened to fall on the week before graduation. their class had decided to all go to a beach that was about an hour out from town. y/n and tyler had planned to hang out with their respective friend groups, but made it a plan to come back to the beach during the summer for their own date - preferably when their entire senior class wasn’t there.
their groups ended up next to each others on the beach, which tyler and y/n clearly didn’t mind because they could admire each other from afar. while tyler’s large friend group set up the large canopy they brought as well as laying out various towels and setting up tables, y/n’s small friend group was putting together their cozy beach pop-up tent complete with fairy lights and multiple towels for them to lay on.
later on, while her friends were all off towards the ocean, y/n had stayed behind to watch their stuff and just lay on her beach towel and rest. tyler’s friends all seemed to have the same idea, all of them already running off to the water with various water guns and other toys. y/n had let them know that she could watch their stuff for them and they were all game.
it had only been about 5 minutes since everyone left when tyler would return - still damp and covered in sand from having jumped into the ocean. “hey pretty lady, this seat taken?” he asked, gesturing to the spot beside y/n as she pushed herself up on her forearms slightly.
she smiled, laying back down and patting the spot beside her for tyler to join her. “it isn’t, but i’ll have you know: my boyfriend kills people.” she warned.
tyler laughed, laying down beside her and scooting in further so that he’d be under the shade. he lifted her head, sliding his arm under her head before setting it back down. “damn really?” he asked, watching her nod her head.
“why aren’t you out with your friends? i offered to watch your guys’ stuff, you know.” she said, turning her head towards tyler to find the man already looking at her.
“hailey got annoying.” he admitted with a sigh. “she ‘slipped’ and ‘lost her footing’ or whatever and fell on me and we both fell to the ground. which, you know, would have been fine if it was actually an accident, but when i tried to get up, she was practically trying to push me down and then i noticed she was trying to kiss me. so, i pushed her off, said i had a girlfriend and came back here.” tyler grunted.
y/n had known of her, but she had yet to put a face to the name. with hailey’s advances towards tyler, she had heard a lot about the girl. “which one is she?” she asked as she looked out at the area where hers and tyler’s friends mingled.
“uh.” tyler followed her gaze. “the one that is angrily walking over right now.”
“tyler! what do you mean you have a girlfriend? i asked the boys and they all said that you don’t have one!” hailey screamed while tyler and y/n sat up. tyler sighed, feeling y/n tense up beside him. he glanced over at y/n before looking up at hailey. “do you mind? i’m trying to have a talk with tyler here.” hailey suddenly turned her attention to y/n, who seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but here.
before tyler could speak, y/n rolled her eyes and said, “whatever you want to talk to him about, you can say it in front of me.”
“what does it matter to you? it’s a private serious conversation between tyler and i. tyty, let’s go somewhere else to talk.” hailey spat, taking a step towards tyler and reaching for his hand before y/n quite literally smacked her hand away.
“it matters what you want to talk to my boyfriend about without me being there.” y/n fired back, her eyebrows furrowing in anger as she stared up at hailey.
tyler knew better than to get between a cat fight, so he simply kept his mouth shut and slung his arm over y/n’s shoulders to pull her into his side in silent support.
hailey looked between the two of them, switching between staring at y/n’s fiery gaze to where tyler wasn’t even meeting her eyes because he had buried his face into the side of y/n’s neck to hide his amusement. “you’re dating her?” she gasped out, something like disgust dripping down her chin as she addressed y/n. “tyler are you blind? she’s a fucking nerd who doesn’t even know the first difference between lip oil and lip tint. tyler, you’re far too good looking to be with someone like her!”
y/n looked over hailey, acknowledging that the girl was near model status and could easily make it big if she got scouted out. “it’s sad that you got so angry over finding out your crush is dating me that you had to go after my looks because you know you lose in every other category.” she sighed, offering hailey a sad apologetic smile. “look, sorry or whatever it is you want to hear from me. but tyler’s been my boyfriend since the eighth grade and i don’t have any plans on breaking up with him at all. what about you, honey?” she suddenly asked tyler.
he shook his head, pulling his face away from her neck so he could smile at her. “hell no, the fuck? i’d be a fucking idiot to let the most stunning girl in the world go.” he hummed, knowing that it’d piss off hailey more.
y/n rested her head on tyler’s shoulder, watching as hailey seemed to lull over her thoughts in her own head. “fine. what can i do then to prove that i’m better than her?” hailey asked, seemingly determined to get with tyler.
“nothing.” tyler answered quickly. “there’s no one better than y/n for me. but i know people have their opinions and that’s why no one knows yet that it’s her i’m dating. she doesn’t deserve this shit that you’re giving her right now just because you think she doesn’t fit me based off of looks alone. although, i do suppose it‘s a good way of weeding out the fake bitches that i call my ‘friends’.” he paused once he saw a flicker of guilt seem to wash over hailey, before it was quickly replaced by the anger that was once there. “look, hailey, if you truly are my friend then you’d walk away right now and leave us be. i’m happy with y/n and in every universe, even if i were to meet someone first or if there was someone else in the picture, i know that i’d choose y/n every time.”
hailey looked between the two of them again, and this time it was y/n who had her face buried in tyler’s neck to hide the blush that had crept up on her face. “whatever.” she huffed, rolling her eyes and flipping off tyler. “your fucking loss. i hope the two of you last for another two weeks.” she swore before she stormed off, heading back towards the group so that she could get her mind off of being so wholeheartedly rejected by tyler.
“you know that one adam sandler speech?” y/n broke the silence that fell over them once hailey left. she pulled her face away from tyler’s neck, cupping his cheek and turning his head so that he could look at her.
“which one?” tyler asked, leaning in so that he could peck her lips quickly.
“the one after he won that award” she answered, smiling as tyler repeatedly pecked her lips.
“oh yeah, you show it to me all the time.” he hummed, his arm dropping to wrap around her waist as he hauled her into his lap.
“that’s how i feel right now, knowing that you’d choose me even though you have drop dead gorgeous girls willing to take my spot.” she admitted, straddling him and wrapping her arms around his neck as his free hand cupped her breast over the fabric of the bikini she wore.
“they’re pretty and all, but they’re nothing compared to you, mamas.” he whispered. “you look so fucking good in this bikini. the guys won’t stop staring over at you whenever you walk by. they keep asking me why i’m gatekeeping my ‘hot nerd friend’ and all of your other hot nerd friends when they ask me to introduce them to you guys and i say no.” he mumbled before pressing his lips against hers and kneading her breast to make her gasp against his lips. he glided his tongue across hers, swallowing her soft moans as he let his hand reach under her bikini top.
she giggled, pulling away from his lips and opening her eyes to look at him. “we’re in public, honey.” she scolded him, watching a pout form on his lips as his hand dropped from her breast to circle both of his arms around her waist. he dipped his head, pressing a kiss between her breasts and pulling his head away after. “also, i don’t get it. the girls in your group are way prettier.”
tyler shook his head. “different aesthetics. the girls in my group are your average mainstream hot girls in those teen movies.” he muttered. “but you? hot sexy nerdy girl with an ass and tits that’s finally being shown off because all you usually wear are sweats and a baggy ass hoodie. you’ve just got a different aesthetic. the guys and i have a type, and we all agree that hot nerdy girls are the best.” he mumbled, leaning up to kiss her cheek. “too bad i’ve got the baddest bitch of them all, though. isn’t that right, mamas?”
she leaned down to peck his lips before shuffling off of his lap and standing up. “all yours, daddy.” she muttered just loud enough for tyler to hear. the cocky dimpled grin that tugged at his lips had let her know that he did hear it. y/n held her hand out for him to take, helping him stand up before letting their hands drop. “i’m not driving and my friends don’t drink. think you can pour me a shot before everyone comes back?”
tyler laughed, wrapping his arm around her waist to pull her in for another kiss while his hand fell down further to grab her ass. “anything for you, mamas. want me to mix you something up, too? i just learned how to make a lychee drink just for you since i know you love lychee.”

[tyler] i’ll see you soon
saw you in your gown i was crying all my tears i told myself that you are the one (you are the one)
tyler didn’t know why he suddenly felt emotional, but seeing her hug her parents with her diploma grasped tightly in her hands while she still had her cap, gown, and stole on was doing something to him. he wiped away a tear that had suddenly fell from his eyes and shifted awkwardly on his feet as he waited for her to greet him.
“are you crying, tyler?” she asked as soon as she let go of her parents and turned her attention to tyler.
“just a little.” he admitted with a laugh, spreading his arms out wide for her as she jumped into his arms. he wrapped his arms around her midsection as she wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck. he spun her in a circle, burying his face in the crook of her neck. “i’m so fucking proud of you, mamas. congratulations.” he mumbled into her neck before setting her back down on her feet gently.
“thank you, honey.” she whispered, unwrapping her arms from around his neck and taking a step back from him. she turned to face her parents who were already looking at them questioning what they just saw. “mom, dad. do you want to take photos? my boyfriend can take them for us.”
before she could give them time to react, y/n was already shoving her phone into tyler’s hands and taking her spot back between her parents. she threw her arms over their shoulders and pulled them closer to her, smiling widely with a loud “cheese” while her parents simply stared at her and screamed “boyfriend?”
the flash of her phone camera caught their attention, and soon they were all smiling and going through a variety of different poses while tyler took their picture.
“how long have you and tyler been dating? i thought he is just your best friend?” her dad asked beside her while they posed.
“since eighth grade.” y/n answered sheepishly.
her parents echoed her words loudly, both of their heads snapping to look towards her while tyler held back a laugh as he captured the moment.
“i got my degree in the end, didn’t i? he wasn’t a distraction at all.” y/n pointed out, reminding her parents of the rule they set. she grinned widely as tyler continued counting down “3, 2, 1” as if it were a mantra between each photo he took.
a moment of silence fell over them that left y/n feeling uneasy while her parents seemed to think over her words. it was her mom that’d cut through the silence. “she’s right, darling. we can’t say anything now. our baby’s all grown up, has her degree, and now we don’t have to worry about taking care of her anymore, she has her own man.” her mom laughed, hooking her arm with y/n’s and resting her head on her shoulder.
y/n’s dad sighed in defeat, standing behind them and wrapping his arms around the both of them. he rested his head on top of theirs and said, “at least it’s tyler. the kid isn’t too bad, and he’s already making money and doing his own thing. you just come to me if he starts any trouble.”
y/n giggled, turning around in her parents arms after tyler snapped the photo so that she could hug them. it certainly went better than she pictured, as she expected her parents to put up a little more of a fight rather than give up so easily. she felt them hug her back and she sighed in relief. “i’m going to be honest. i thought you guys would kill me for keeping him from you for so long.”
“if you told us this at your high school graduation, then we would have definitely sent you far away for college even if you didn’t want to go.” her dad admitted with a laugh. “but your mother’s right. we don’t have a say in who you date now. the rule was that you couldn’t date until you got your degree from college because you’d get distracted and fail school. but you managed to graduate all while having a boyfriend and proved us wrong, so who are we to suddenly break you two apart?” he continued, pulling away from the hug and taking his wife’s hand in his.
her mom looked over at tyler who had stopped taking photos to pull off the hoodie he wore and was in the process of shoving the hoodie into his backpack he always had. she laughed, covering her mouth with her hand and nudging her husband with her elbow. “darling, look at tyler.”
y/n and her dad both looked at tyler’s direction just as he slung his backpack back over his shoulders, a wide smile on his face as he proudly wore his “i love my girlfriend” shirt with a photo of y/n on the front. “honey, what is that?” y/n screamed, her face burning red with embarrassment.
“my new favorite shirt.” he answered without missing a beat. he took a step forward, holding out y/n’s phone for her dad to take and his own phone for her mom to take. “can you take our photos, please?” he asked, already reaching for the signs of y/n’s heads so that they could pose with them. he thrusted one of the signs into y/n’s hands before wrapping his arm around her shoulders and guiding her to step back with him.
y/n’s mom happily got into the rhythm of taking photos for the two as they posed, clearly having been silently hoping for years that tyler wasn’t just her daughter’s “best friend”. mother knows best, after all, and y/n’s mom wasn’t a stranger to the way tyler has been treating her daughter. she’ll admit she did find it odd when her daughter was in middle school that tyler would always be with her when she came to pick her up, and had once caught a whiff of weed in the air that she knew just had to come from the strange boy. but as tyler seemed to become a permanent fixture in y/n’s friends that she’d hang out with in high school, she chose not to bring it up again simply because she knew her daughter was still at the top of her class. she also chose not to make it known that she had once peeked out the window when she knew tyler was dropping y/n home after asking to take her out with him for his birthday dinner and just so happened to see them kiss in his car.
y/n’s dad on the other hand hesitated for a moment, simply taking the time to observe the way the two interacted. he had never wanted to assume anything was going on between them in the years he had known tyler, and y/n was still excelling in her academics in a way that he thought she wouldn’t be able to if she had a boyfriend. clearly, he was wrong. and as he watched tyler carefully handle her as they posed for each photo, he knew he didn’t need to worry. after all, if y/n’s been dating him since eighth grade, he was sure he didn’t have too much to worry about. he taught y/n to never settle for less, after all. “let’s get a photo of you two kissing so i can post it on facebook and give everyone in the family a heart attack.” he called out as he stood beside his wife, pulling up y/n’s phone to snap a photo as the younger couple stared at each other with red faces.
y/n’s mom cheered loudly as tyler and y/n kissed for the photo, tyler’s arm circling around her waist and dipping her as y/n’s hand came up to cup his cheek.
i want you to know, i love you the most i’ll always be there right by your side ‘cause baby, you’re always in my mind just give me your forever (give me your forever)
“straight to my house, tyler. no funny business. do i make myself clear?” y/n’s dad asked, his hand still firmly gripping tyler’s hand. although tyler was taller than him, tyler couldn’t help but feel as though he were six feet shorter just from the way he knew that if he fucked up now, the older man would certainly have his head on a stick… literally.
“yes, sir. no funny business.” tyler reassured him, ignoring the giggles from the two women that were standing behind him.
the four of them were all in the parking garage, already ready to head home so that they could continue the celebration with family that was already waiting at y/n’s house. y/n had asked if she could have tyler drive her to their house, and after a little hesitation, her dad agreed.
y/n was already showing her mom all the photos she and tyler had taken together throughout the years, and her mom wouldn’t stop gushing over the fact that her daughter had such a handsome boyfriend who was making a name for himself in the wrestling business. tyler eventually walked over to them, his hand finding its place on y/n’s hip.
“drive safely, tyler.” y/n’s mom told him, pulling him in for a hug. “see you later, baby! don’t do anything in the car that should be saved for the bedroom.” she teased before going off to join her husband in making their way to their own car.
“fucking finally.” tyler breathed out, turning his full attention to y/n as he planted both of his hands on her hips to pull her against him. he dipped his head down as y/n’s arms came up to wrap around his neck, pulling him down further and meeting him in the middle for a heated kiss. “one pair of parents down, one more to go.” he mumbled against her lips as he backed her up to press her against the side of his car.
she parted her lips, allowing tyler’s tongue to slide against hers and whimpering against him. y/n pulled away, not wanting to let themselves get too carried away. “wanna call them now?” she asked, unwrapping her arms from around his neck so that she could cup his face in her hands instead. she reached up further, running her fingers through tyler’s hair in an attempt to calm the mess, although in all the years she’s been with tyler - she already knew that was nearly impossible.
“no need. already sent them the photos while we were walking here. just waiting for them to reply.” he laughed, leaning in quickly to peck her lips once more before taking a step back. “i’ll post on my instagram tonight. i’m afraid that the longer we stand here kissing and not driving, your dad will actually kill me. i’m certain he was just being nice because there’s so many people here.” tyler said, taking a step back and letting his hands fall from her hips. he waited for her to step out before pulling the door open for her, waiting for her to slide into her seat before shutting the door and jogging around to the other side.
“let’s get you home and celebrate with your family, mamas.” he said as he slid into the drivers seat, quickly starting the car and pulling on his seatbelt.
“at least this time, when my aunts and uncles all ask me if i have a boyfriend, i get to pull you around and be like ‘here he is!’” y/n laughed as tyler leaned over the center console to give her one more kiss before pulling out of the parking spot and driving off. of course, they kissed at every red light and stop sign as they were unable to contain their excitement of being finally able to freely and openly love each other.
i want you to know that you’ll be the one and i’ll be the guy who’ll be on his knees to say i love you and i need you and say i’d die for you (just give me your forever)
tyler had retreated to y/n’s room two hours into the party. after being bombarded with loads of questions from y/n’s relatives, he needed some time for himself. but he also needed to answer his mom and dad’s facetime call, so he used that as an excuse to be up in her room.
“hey mom! hey dad!” tyler greeted as soon as he picked up the call, laying back in y/n’s bed and kicking off his shoes.
“since eighth grade?” taz asked, clearly in disbelief at the fact that tyler had managed to successfully hide his relationship from them for so long. especially since tyler had just started working with him and was on the road with taz.
“yeah. been going strong for years and years. not one break up or nothing. mom taught me how to treat my girl right.” tyler laughed, as he opened up his instagram app, already heading to his drafts so that he could add a few more photos and videos to the post he had already typed up.
“where is she? i miss y/n, i haven’t seen her in so long ever since you started working with your dad. now it makes so much sense why you’d always have her over when we haven’t even met your other friends!” tyler’s mom asked, seemingly happy that her son had a girlfriend that she had already met and thought of highly.
“i feel so dumb. she’d sometimes fly out to our shows and tyler would just be like ‘oh i just miss my best friend, you know. been around her my whole life and now i can’t walk down the street to see her.’ i can’t believe i took that ‘best friend’ story and believed it.” taz gasped out in disbelief.
“she’s downstairs with the rest of her family. i think she’s drinking with her cousins right now. i’m up in her room because her aunts and uncles have been asking me questions nonstop. some of her uncles are apparently fans of you, dad. they went real crazy over it.” tyler hummed. he switched apps to his messaging app and opened up the group chat he had with his parents. “i’m about to post her on my instagram since we can date openly now. i’ve been waiting years to show her off. do you think she’ll be mad if i post this one?” he asked them as he sent a photo of y/n in a sports bra and tyler’s ring gear, with her hands taped and everything. she even had the ftw championship slung over her shoulder, and for effect, her hair was tousled and messy. y/n was pulling off her best “mean mug” face although she was failing horribly.
his parents laughed as soon as they saw the image, and taz joked, “she makes the championship look better than you do.”
“i don’t think she’ll mind, baby. but your dad and i are going to go have dinner now. behave yourself and for the love of god, don’t have a kid. we just found out you have a girlfriend of eight years, we don’t need to be sent to the hospital because we had a heart attack over news of you getting her pregnant.” his mom said.
tyler said his goodbyes to his parents. once the call dropped, he went back to his instagram app to continue editing his post.
“honey? you in here?” y/n’s voice rang throughout the room as she peeked her head in.
“hey mamas. just about to post you. is it cool if i include this photo of you cuddled up against my chest even though there’s a big ass hickey on my collarbone?” he asked, holding up his phone for her to see although she was still in the doorway.
she felt her face heat up as she walked further into the room, shutting the door behind her and sitting at the edge of the bed. “sure, why not? let’s give your die hard fans even more reason to be angry at me.” y/n laughed.
“god, i’m so happy i get to hear that laugh forever. hold these hands forever. kiss these lips forever. love you forever.” tyler admitted softly, his gaze locked with hers as her hand came up to cup his cheek. she leaned in and tyler met her in the middle, capturing her lips in a sweet kiss and tasting the alcohol that lingered on her lips.
he grimaced once she pulled away, his tongue peeking out to swipe at his bottom lip. “what the fuck are you drinking down there? is that jd?” he asked after tasting the alcohol, pushing himself up so that he was sitting up on the bed.
“there’s henny if you want that instead. but come down soon, they’re already asking about you again.” she hummed as tyler’s arm came around her from to wrap around her waist. she leaned into his chest as he kissed her, moaning against him as his tongue wrapped around hers. y/n placed her hands firmly against his chest, pushing him slightly as she pulled away. “later, daddy. if you convince my parents to let you stay the night.”
“even if they didn’t let me, i’ll just sneak back in, mamas.”
just give me your forever

Friends to Lovers, anyone? <3
Summary: HOOK and reader have been best friends for a while now. But the reader slowly starts to notice that her friendship might not be the only thing that Tyler is after.
You sit in the plane terminal, headphones on, playing a game on your switch. Tyler is sat next to you on the floor, headphone also on and doing something on his phone. There is a comfortable silence between the two of you as you wait for your boarding time. Your legs are draped over Tyler's lap, his arm that's not holding his phone, drapes over them casually as he scrolls.
Daniel strolls up with Darius at his side. He spots you and Tyler and snorts, nudging Darius on the shoulder to get his attention.
"Check those two out." Daniel snickers.
"Who?" Darius replies and follows Daniel's outstretched finger. "YN and Tyler? What about them?" He turns back to Daniel.
Daniel shoots Darius a snarky look and drops his hand back to his side. "They look awfully cozy, don't they?" He points out.
"I guess, yeah." Darius shrugs. "They're friends, remember?"
"We're friends." Daniel corrects him. "And you don't see me all up on you like that." He nods back to you and Tyler again.
Darius roll his eyes at the observation. The two of them walk up to you and Tyler. You're busy with your switch so you don't see them approach, but Tyler spots Daniel coming and pulls out his headphones to greet his friends.
"What's up, Daniel? You waiting for your flight too?" Tyler asks Daniel.
"Yeah." Daniel nods. "What's up with her?" He nods down to you when you don't greet him and Darius.
Tyler grins and taps your legs, still draped over his lap to get your attention. "She's locked in on whatever game she's playing. Can't hear you." He explains.
You look up from your Switch when Tyler taps your legs, finally noticing Daniel and Darius. You pull your headphones out and smile at the pair.
"Danny! Darius! Hey, guys." You greet them both warmly.
"What's going on, YN?" Darius smiles back at you.
Daniel nods to you as well. "What's up, shortie?" He asks.
"Not much." You shrug. "Me n Ty are just waiting for our boarding time."
Daniel nods and sits down with Darius, so everyone can chat and wait together. You chat for a while and decide to make a quick bathroom trip as your boarding time nears. So you get up and dismiss yourself to the bathroom. Leaving the boys to chat without you for a few minutes.
"So." Daniel turns to Tyler as soon as you are out of sight. "You and YN seem like you're getting pretty close." He comments.
"Yeah, YN's great." Tyler nods.
Daniel snickers, clearly meaning something more. "Great, right. Yeah, I bet she is, man." He teases Tyler.
Tyler narrows his gaze at Daniel, not getting why he's laughing for no reason. Darius scoffs and pushes Daniel's shoulder lightly.
"He's trying to imply you got a thing for her." Darius explains. "He just ain't very smooth with it." He makes a lighthearted jab at Daniel.
"Hey!" Daniel protests.
Tyler cracks a grin as he watches his friends bicker. He goes to reply to Daniel's claim, but he spots you walking back over to the group and clams up, his gaze fixed on you as you make your way back to the group.
"Oh yeah." Darius cracks up when he notices Tyler's staring. "He's definitely got it bad."
Daniel notices as well and shares a laugh with Darius.
You make it back over to the group and sit back down between Tyler and Daniel. You notice the smiles on Daniel and Darius' face, and can't help but wonder what they talked about while you were gone.
"What's got you two so cracked up?" You ask Daniel and Darius.
"Just something Darius said." Daniel snickers. "An inside joke."
You nod and check the time on your phone. You notice it's almost time to board, so you start getting your stuff packed back up.
"That time already?" Tyler notices you packing up.
"Yeah." You nod at him.
Tyler sighs and moves to start packing up his stuff as well. He gets most of his stuff ready to go before running to the bathroom as well before you go.
"So, YN." Daniel wastes no time in grilling you about Tyler. "About you and Tyler,"
"Me and Tyler?" You turn to look at him. "What about us?"
Darius is the one to laugh this time. You whip your head around to stare at him, unsure what game he and Daniel are playing with you.
"Alright guys. What are you two doing?" You ask them.
"Nothing. We swear." Darius insists with his hands up.
Daniel snickers and nudges Darius in the side. "Yeah, unlike her and Tyler." He jokes.
You watch both men break out into laughter with a confused look on your face.
"Me and Tyler, what?" You ask them. "You two are fucking weird." You grumble after they don't answer and just keep laughing.
Tyler comes back over to the group and notices Daniel and Darius laughing hysterically.
"What are those two so riled up for?" Tyler asks you.
"I have no clue." You reply. "Come on, Ty. Let's go before they start being weird again." You pick up your bags.
Tyler nods in agreement and picks up his bags as well. The two of you walk away shoulder to shoulder.
"You think they know?" You glance at Tyler after you've put some distance between you and your friends.
"About us?" Tyler grins. "Nah, they're idiots." He muses and grabs your hand.
You laugh and nod at his statement about your friends being idiots. "Yeah...we are going to have to come out about it eventually, though." You remind him.
"Just say the word, baby." Tyler replies casually, interlocking your fingers with his.
"Really?" You look over at him.
Tyler cracks a grin and nods, bringing your hand up to his lips to press a kiss to the back of your hand. "I'd be a fucking idiot not to want to show you off." He teases you.
"Awe, Ty!" You gush with a wide grin.

Chaotic Collaborations
Synopsis: The whirlwind of two polar opposites, a story line and unmistakable tensions in between
Warnings: pining, cursing, injury, depictions of blood, protective!hook, jealous!hook, angst, fluff eventually
A/N: welllll after who knows how long I’ve finally managed to conjure up the sunshine!reader x coldhearted hook fic! This was actually so fun to write I got carried away and it takes a drastic turn lmao I hope you love it babesss, enjoy!
(Takes place during the Hook and Jack rivalry)
(Also this shit is extremely long and I’m finishing it at 2am so bare with me if there’s grammatical errors, I’m sleepy lmao)
You were originally ecstatic over the shot at your very first story line when Tony pitched the idea to you. You’d been in AEW for a little over a year and had been hoping that you’d get a little more substantial tv time outside of your typical matches sometime soon, so when Tony called you to his office with an idea that was brought up to him, you couldn’t agree quick enough.
That was until the person you’d be doing the storyline with walked through the door.
The coldhearted handsome devil, as he frequently gets called. Someone you were somewhat familiar with due to seeing his matches in the viewing room from time to time, or him sitting alone in catering every so often, typically with a hatred look towards the whole world on his face.
A man you never considered approaching for the simple fact that he gave the impression that he was not to be fucked with, or even smiled at, for that matter. He was the last person you’d expected Tony to bring in.
“Hook, glad you’re here again. I know we’ve already been over this but now that we have your future partner here, I wanted to give you both the rundown. Have a seat.” Tony points to the chair next to you. He steps in, a hoodie over his head shadowing his eyes that glance at you before he silently takes a seat.
He brought a sudden energy to the room with his presence, one that made you feel a tad bit uneasy. Intimidated, more so.
“Y/N, Hook is who I’m pairing you with for this storyline. It’s come to my attention that the two of you are both crowd favorites and apparently a lot of fans want to see you two together. It would be great for the ratings and for both of your character developments.”
You nodded along, wanting to look over at the man next to you to see what he thought of this, though you kept your eyes on Tony. You knew that fans liked to talk about how you and some of the talent should pair up together, and there were a lot of edits on instagram of you and certain wrestlers that they shipped, but Hook was the least of your expectations.
“I’ll be putting you both in a group chat where I’ll send you segment and promo schedules and concepts, so keep your eyes out for that. Next week, during your match with Anna, Jack Perry is going to come out with the FTW title and hand it to her, and that’s when Hook will be coming out after him. The fans will think it’s all part of their feud until he comes to your aid when Anna hits you with the title while Jack and Hook are fighting on the ramp. That’s going to be the start of the entire storyline leading up to a tagteam match between the four of you.”
You listened intently, not wanting to miss a beat of the instruction. The storyline made a lot of sense since you and Anna did have some on screen animosity to begin with, and hook and jack have been at each others throats for some time now, so you could see the relevance to having Hook as your alliance.
“I’ll be sending you both a text soon on more details.” Tony said before he excused you both from his office. Hook silently got out of his chair and headed through the door without sparing you a glance. You weren’t sure if that meant that he was displeased about the storyline or if he just collected the information and went on his way.
You decided to try to talk to him when you both got into the hallway, but quickly wished you would’ve let him keep walking.
“Hey!” You jog up to him, reaching his side. He glanced over at you for a split second before he fixated his sights ahead. He didn’t greet you back, and that alone made you feel a little uneasy, but you still attempted to make conversation.
“I know we’ve never talked before, but since we’re about to do this whole storyline together, I guess I should introduce myself and all.” You managed a nervous chuckle, but he kept a straight face.
“I’m Y/N.” You continued on, feeling your nerves start to get the better of you, which is when you start rambling, usually.
“I mean, obviously you know that now since Tony said it, but, anyway, i just wanted to break the ice a little. This is all pretty new to me. I’ve never done a story line before so-“
That’s when Hook stops in his tracks, turning to face you. His stare was cold and jaw set. He showed no emotion, nothing at all, really. The way he looked straight into your eyes made you immediately shy away from that gaze. Your eyes dropped to the gold cross sitting over his chest similar to the one you had tucked underneath your shirt that you wore as a good luck charm.
You wanted to pull it out and show him that you had one too but something told you he wouldn’t care about that at all.
You glanced back up into his eyes, the ones that were strongly fixated on you, managing to push past the nervousness he made you feel until you heard him say, “Let’s save the talking for the scripts.”
He held his eyes on you for a second longer before he turned on his heel and headed down the hallway. You didn’t bother to follow. It was clear that Hook didn’t care to make conversation with you, and he wanted to make sure you understood that.
———
You were sitting in catering with Skye and Willow, oblivious to their conversation due to the thoughts that kept swirling around in your brain. It had been a week since that very first interaction with Hook and tonight you were going to be starting the whole storyline.
Skye noticed how you barely paid attention to the conversation and decided to ask you what was going on. You had yet to tell them about the storyline since talking to Hook, or attempting to, didn’t go over so well.
“What’s going on with you?” Skye’s voice reached you, snapping you out of your thoughts.
You could’ve said it was nothing to save yourself the conversation but they were going to know about the whole storyline tonight, so you decided to spill it all.
“Tony’s giving me my first storyline.” You say, watching as a smile spreads across both of their faces before the confusion sets in.
“You don’t seem too excited?” Willow commented.
“I mean, I am, but… Well, okay, so you know how Hook and Jack Perry have that whole rivalry going on right now?”
The girls nod slowly, clearly they were still a bit confused.
“And me and Anna have a match tonight, so Jack’s going to come out and hand her the FTW title so she can knock my ass out with it,-“
“So then Hook is going to come out to save you.” Skye figured. “So is it like, an on screen dating kind of thing?”
“I don’t think so. Tony said we’ll end up teaming up against them, so I’m pretty sure it’s just alliances.”
Willow’s lips spread into a smirk before she looked down.
“Are you nervous about it or something? You’re the one who said you wished you’d get your shot at a story line and now you’re talking like you don’t want to do it.” Skye said, but you hardly heard her when the man who’s been racing through your mind came walking through the catering doors.
Willow noticed your eyes immediately finding him, following him as he headed around the perimeter of the room to take his seat in the very back.
“I think she’s nervous.” Willow grinned, clearly with insinuation but that’s when you quickly tore your eyes away from the man in question and back to them.
“No, it’s the fact that I tried to talk to him after we left Tony’s office, y’know, introduce myself and break the ice since we’re going to be working together, and he literally looked me dead in my face and told me to save the talking for the scripts.”
Both of their jaw’s dropped and Willow’s eyes cut over to the man, shooting him a look he didn’t see since he was on his phone.
“That’s fucking rude.” She said.
“Yeah, and we haven’t spoke since.”
“I mean, he kind of does look like that type of guy. He’s always by himself, always looks like someone pissed in his cheerios, maybe he’s just a dick. I’d just stick to the storyline and don’t bother with him outside of that if he’s going to have that kind of an attitude.” Skye says before she grabs her phone and stands up from the table.
“Anyway, I gotta go. I’ll be watching your match from the viewing room tonight though. You’re gonna do amazing.” She smiles before she heads out, leaving you and willow at the table.
“I agree with Skye. Just try to enjoy your first storyline despite his negative attitude.”
You nodded, then your eyes adverted over to the back of the room, for some reason you felt strongly compelled to steal a glance of him, only to find his eyes locked on you.
You felt your stomach twist suddenly and looked away immediately, but you could still feel the powerful gaze he possessed burning a hole through you, and you weren’t sure if that meant you should look back again, maybe try to go talk to him, or leave the room all together.
“Oh my God, he’s staring at me. Don’t you fucking look, Willow. Don’t make it obvious.”
Willow didn’t, but it was clear she wanted to. You could practically feel his dark eyes on you from way across the room, and you couldn’t help the way it made the pace of your heart quicken, out of the sheer nervousness that his presence hasn’t failed to make you feel.
“He’s leaving now.” Willow whispered as her eyes followed him around the room before she dropped them to the table. “He’s gone.”
————
You couldn’t help but to be nervous but you attempted to put it all aside as you clutched you ribs, lying on the canvas after Anna kicked into your side, probably a little harder than she should have. You knew what was coming as soon as Jack’s music hit and he came running down the ramp with the FTW title in hand.
You grabbed Anna’s feet before she could reach him, swiftly making her fall flat against the canvas in an attempt to protect yourself from the inevitable. That’s when Hook’s music hit and a sudden pop from the crowd made your ears ring.
He didn’t run down the ramp like Jack did, but it took him only a few seconds to get his hands on the man. Hook snatched the title and threw it to the floor before he threw a series of punches to Jack’s chest, while you and Anna were throwing punches to each other’s jaws. She was hitting you with a force that felt a little more personal than just entertainment purposes. You wondered if she meant that or not.
She grabbed your wrist and slung you against the turnbuckles, hitting your back so hard you sprung foward and fell to your knees. It was all planned, but you were taking one hell of a beating.
That’s when Hook and Jack had the referee distracted enough for Anna to grab the belt. Just as you were getting on your feet, you felt the impact against the side of your head knocking you down flat, staring up at the bright lights of the arena as she pinned you.
The three count came fast and her music rang through your ears. You laid there like you were dazed and confused and thankfully she didn’t actually hit you with it too hard. You had a little pain but nothing like it would’ve been if she would’ve intended to knock you out cold.
The crowd was booing jack and Anna both, but they roared with cheers when Hook slid under the ropes. You felt a warm hand sneak beneath your shoulder before he helped you sit up. There was no script to go off of so you weren’t sure if anything should’ve been said, but nobody would’ve heard over the thousands of screams piercing your ears.
Taz was on commentary hyping the interaction up for the added affect of the viewers watching on tv.
“I don’t know when those two became friends, but I’ll tell you one thing, Y/N has a good one in her corner. If Hook has your back, you know you’re gonna be alright. Jack and Anna better watch out now boys.”
Hook leaned down and grabbed your hand, pulling you up to your feet. The crowd was absolutely wild, and it was a reaction you really didn’t expect. He silently nodded towards the ramp as he let go of your hand. You walked ahead of him, slipping out of the ropes and making your way towards the tunnels, clutching your side and your head for the added affect.
You looked over your shoulder to find hook close behind, his eyes locked on you the second you spared a glance. Just before you reached the tunnels, you heard his voice, somehow over all the commotion around the arena.
“Wait” he caused you to turn around, now inches apart from you. Your eyes widened when you realized the closeness, before you felt his hand grab yours again and hold it up in the air, turning you towards the crowd that was on the verge of losing their minds.
He pointed at you, nodding as he took in the reactions. You were trying to soak it all in but it all had you confused. Assuming he was really good at selling, you tried to ignore the fact that his harsh words had been running through your mind for the past week, but due to that, you didn’t expect all of this.
He dropped your hand and nodded towards the tunnel, letting you lead the way. As soon as you got away from the chaos in the arena, you turned around to face him. Part of you wanted to ask why he was so rude to you last week but the other part of you was screaming for you not to.
Hook’s brows knitted together when you looked up at him. The last thing you probably should’ve been thinking about was the first one that came to mind simply because your brain did that sometimes.
He was wearing a black hoodie, black pants and looked like the walking depiction of darkness with the way his hair casted over nearly half of his face. Meanwhile you had on all white ring gear coupled with white nails and the comparison must have looked nothing less than polar opposites when you stood side by side.
But then you heard him say, “Are you just gonna stand there and stare at me?”
That’s when you realized you’d just been staring up at him, feeling your cheeks immediately burn beneath your skin when he called you out for it. Hook saw the way your face flushed and a rosy tint dusted over. Then he noticed a gold cross sitting against your chest much like his own. He didn’t comment on it, obviously.
You wanted to redeem yourself but couldn’t muster words at that point and he stared down at you awaiting a response or simply for you to move out of his way, which is exactly what you did.
The second you stepped to the side, he slipped past you, brushing your shoulder on his way down the hall. You stood there with a bit of a dumbfounded look on your face as you watched him leave without sparing you another glance.
———
Another week passed by and again, you and hook hadn’t spoke, but your tagged photos on instagram were nothing but you and him from Dynamite the week prior. It was funny how many fans were going crazy for a duo that was anything but when you weren’t on cameras.
You’d looked down at your phone when it buzzed and a text from Tony came through. You were put in the group chat with a 363 area code and debated whether or not you should save him in your contacts.
The text was the instructions for a segment later on. You and hook were going to be spotted talking in the hallway. He sent the full script and with only an hour to memorize and apologized for the last minute scheduling.
You were typing back when another message popped up. It was from hook, nothing but a short and simple reply saying, “All good” meanwhile you’d typed almost a whole paragraph about how it was okay, don’t apologize and you were going to get to memorizing right now. Needless to say, you deleted that and typed back, “No problem, I’ll have them memorized.”
You then scrolled up the long message, unsure if you could actually sell this with such a short amount of study time. You didn’t want to screw up on live tv.
Your lips moved as you read over the lines. It would’ve been way easier if you could actually rehearse them with someone but clearly hook wasn’t going to be down for that and Skye and Willow both had the night off, which was the reason you were sitting alone in catering.
You tried to focus but you felt that feeling again. Eyes on you, unavailable. He was somewhere in the room and you could feel it. He was staring at you again, and you didn’t even have to find him to be able to tell that.
You couldn’t keep your mind on the script now that you knew you were being watched. You wondered why he was staring in the first place. What was his problem with you after all?
The temptations got the better of you and you finally tore your eyes from your phone, only to find him sitting directly across from you at the next table over. Like you already knew, staring.
He didn’t bother to snatch his gaze off of you. He was shameless about the way he watched you. You couldn’t help it when your nerves grabbed strong hold of you and out blurted, “Are you just gonna sit there and stare?”, loud enough for the people around to hear, earning their attention.
Hook didn’t acknowledge them. He didn’t even blink. Didn’t move a single muscle and that’s when you decided to get up and walk over to him, despite the way his dark eyes made you want to take off running.
You approached his table and took a seat directly across from him. He tilted his head back slightly and crossed his arms over his chest. His brows raised in an expectant manner and you could feel the eyes of talent all around focused on the two of you.
“Why do you keep staring at me?” You called him out the same way he did to you last week in the tunnel. He kept a stoic expression as his eyes dropped down to your phone in hand on top of the table. He decided to avoid your question to ask one of his own.
“You think you can sell that segment later?”
Caught off guard, you felt your brows knit together, looking down at your phone which served as a reminder that you needed to be studying those lines.
“I’m gonna do my best.” You answered honestly, looking back at him. “Are you not going to go over your lines?”
“I already know them.”
“The text just came in like five minutes ago.” You pointed out.
“And I already know them, and yours.” He coolly states before he grabs the bookbag from the seat next to him and stands up. “Don’t mess up.” He says before he tries to leave.
“Wait!” Your voice didn’t do you any favors when it came out a little squeakier than you intended, but it kept him there. “Can you help me go over them?”
He stared down at you, face unreadable as always. There was a pause before he said, “If I didn’t have to get ready for my match, maybe I’d consider.” Then he headed out of catering, leaving you alone at the table.
———
You headed down the hallway where you were supposed to shoot the segment. Hook was already there, leaning against the wall with his phone in hand. He had his ring gear on, a couple red marks on his chest and sweat glistening off his skin. He must have just came back from his match.
Nobody else was around yet. You slowly walked over to him and stood against the opposite wall in front of him. He finished typing something before he picked his head up and looked down at you. You did your best not to spare him a glance as you continued going over your lines.
“It’s a little late to be trying to memorize them now.” You heard him mutter.
“I think I have them memorized, actually.” You look up at him, now leaning back with arms crossed. His hair was absolutely unruly and you couldn’t help but stifle a laugh when you saw it up close. The way it was standing straight up over his head reminded you of Chicken Little.
“What?” His brows knit when he catches your reaction.
“Sorry” you shake your head and wipe the smirk off your face. “It’s your hair.”
“What about my hair?”
“It’s like, standing straight up.” You point out, watching his eyes squint at you.
“It’s hair. It does that.” He deadpanned.
“Mine never does.”
“That’s ‘cause Anna’s always pulling yours out.” He bantered back, and for the first time you thought maybe you saw his lips tip up in a smirk, but as soon as you caught it, he wiped it away.
“She is not always pulling it out. That was one time. And that was so long ago, how do you even know that?”
Silence suddenly filled the hallway. He didn’t have an answer for that and thankfully for him, the cameraman made his way around the corner just in time.
“Alright, ready?” He calls out to the both of you. You take one more quick glance at your phone before shoving it in your pocket and taking in a deep breath.
Hook pushed himself off the wall and whispered, “Don’t mess up.” Before he stood behind you, close enough that when you turned around, you had to put a little space between you.
“Action.”
“Y/N.” Hook suddenly spoke. “You can’t let anyone walk all over you in this company. It’s time for you to take control. You need to start fighting fire with fire.”
He was right when he said he had his parts memorized. It was so effortless to him. He went from one persona to the next in a matter of seconds.
You tried to hide the surprise on your face and snap into character. He eyed you skeptically, you could clearly tell he was expecting you to mess up.
“I don’t want to play dirty, Hook. That’s gonna be my karma when it comes back to bite me.” First line down, you didn’t think it was too bad.
“Or maybe Anna Jay and Jack Perry’s karma is us. Did you ever think about that?” He raised his voice and took a step foward unexpectedly, backing you against the wall. You were suddenly flustered but knew you had to force that away.
“Jack knocked me out with the same title Anna hit you with. My FTW title. They’re cornering you and you’re allowing it! What’s gonna happen when you’re in the hospital with a concussion next time and I can’t save you?”
His chest started heaving as hot breaths fanned against your skin. He was way too good at this.
“What do you want me to do, Hook? You want me to be evil like they are? That’s not me!”
A second passed and you saw the way his eyes dropped down to some other part of your face, suddenly making you self conscious about whatever caught his attention. Then, he leaned in even closer, his chest brushing against yours when he inhaled.
“If you’re gonna be with me, you have to be tougher than this. That sweet, innocent personality of yours isn’t going to get us anywhere, and I’m not gonna stand by while you let yourself get assaulted every week. It’s time to start fighting back, Y/N.”
Half of that line, you didn’t recall memorizing. It threw you off a little bit, and thanks to that, you couldn’t remember your final line. You suddenly got anxious, mouth falling open with no words coming out. Hook picked up on this, not letting too much time pass before he tried to jog your memory.
“You don’t have anything to say? You’re okay with these people tormenting us? You want them to take everything from us?”
You hoped he could hear you silently thanking him. You knew that wasn’t a line but he kept it going for the sake of embarrassing yourself.
“If you want me to fight back, then let me do it my way.” You recited, shooting him your best glare for the dramatics. “I’m not turning cold for you, but that doesn’t mean I can’t beat her ass so bad she’ll wish she never stepped foot in a ring with me.”
His lips turned upwards in the faintest hint of a smirk and this time you were certain on it before he quickly brought that straight face back for the camera and nodded his head saying his last line.
“I’m gonna hold you to that.”
“Cut”
The camera man left you and hook in the hallway. As soon as the camera wasn’t on you an enormous weight was lifted off of your shoulders, finally able to take a deep breath, but the air around quickly got suffocating all over again.
Hook didn’t move. He was still standing close enough to you that you felt pinned to the wall. He held those infamously dark eyes on you for a moment, studying you. In his mind, he didn’t see the value of having you as a partner. He couldn’t understand why he got paired with someone who looks like they’d cry the minute someone raised their voice.
You just appeared to him as a sweet, innocent person and not in the way that he intended for it to be a compliment. Sweet and innocent wasn’t his thing. He needed someone just as coldhearted and vengeful as him.
Nevertheless, he was with you now until this storyline ends and his dad told him during a conversation they had a few days prior, that he needs to look at things a little bit differently. Taz seemed to think that he needed someone like you by his side. The coldhearted handsome devil needed a conscious and in his dad’s mind, a babyface with the reputation of being a walking ray of sunshine was the angel on Hook’s shoulder.
He carefully considered his dad’s perspective, but then aroused ideas of his own. A concept that he pitched to Tony that you had no idea what was coming. Plans to take your squeaky clean image and transform it into something greater, something more complimentary to himself.
You eyed him, swallowing past a thick lump accumulating in your throat before you managed to speak in a voice almost weary.
“Why are you staring at me like that?”
Hook’s head tilted to the side, as if he was intrigued by the simple question. Your wide eyes reminded him of a skittish puppy ready to bolt, and he was surprised you haven’t yet.
“I thought you had your lines memorized?” He countered your question.
“I did, until you decided to improvise.” You quickly blurted, feeling like you exaggerated that defense. His brows raised slightly from beneath the thick hair against his forehead before he took a step back, putting space between you for the first time in what felt like an eternity.
“See you next week.” He muttered before he disappeared around the corner.
———
Two nights later, as you got cozy in bed, just about to doze off, your phone buzzed with a text from that same area code you recognized as Hook.
“been talking to my dad. you need to learn redrum. im in the hotel gym”
You glanced at the time, nearly baffled when you realized it was one-thirty in the morning. You texted back a quick reply.
“Right now? This can’t wait until tomorrow? And why do I need to learn your moves? I have moves of my own.”
You stared at the message until the delivered turned into read at 1:32 and locked your phone until he texted back.
“im going to bed at 2”
You stared at that simple little message and knew it was basically him not giving much of an option. You huffed as you slid out of bed, never minding to change out of your sweatpants or do anything with yourself for that matter. It was almost two in the morning. You should be asleep.
The elevators brought you down to the first floor. You headed across the lobby towards the gym. You could hear the sound of a punching bag being hit three times each even through the closed door.
You walked in, to your surprise finding Hook and Taz both. Taz was keeping the punching bag steady while Hook threw his fists into it, but that came to an abrupt halt when taz spotted you first.
“Ah, there she is.” His voice echoed through the empty room. “Didn’t think you’d actually show.” He chuckled, turning to his son. “Tyler and I have been talking about that upcoming tagteam match between you and the goofballs, we think if the crowd saw a double redrum they’d go nuts.”
You glanced at hook, now with the new knowledge that his name was actually Tyler, and for some reason that’s all that registered in that moment. He was looking at his dad, not even sparing a glance in your direction until Taz gave him a strong pat on his bare back and said, “I’ll leave you to it son. Your mother’s waiting for me.”
You held the door open to let him through, offering a faint smile. Taz stopped before he left the room, looking over his shoulder at his son, “Polite too” he commented, and you weren’t sure what that was supposed to mean but didn’t ask either. “Don’t hurt him too bad.” He muttered with an amused grin before he headed out.
You closed the door and stepped a little farther in the room. Taz seemed to have taken that lighthearted energy with him when he left because once again, the air was thick. It felt hot and heavy in your lungs and it made no sense to you why that was always the case when you were around him.
He stood at the front of the room with his hands on his hips. He looked like he’d been at it for hours what with the way his cheeks were bright red and sweat was covering every visible inch of his body, and drenching his hair.
“Do you always work out at two in the morning?” You asked as you drew a little closer, feeling like you were physically walking on eggshells.
“I go to sleep at two.” He replied, rather breathlessly. His eyes adverted down to your t-shirt and sweats, and the fuzzy slippers you put on before you left the hotel room. “Apparently you do too.”
“I was almost asleep when you texted.” You defended yourself and your cozy loungewear. “I’m not going to throw on a whole outfit just to come down to the gym.”
“Real shoes either.” He countered.
You looked down at the slippers and then back up at him. “They’re comfy. I don’t care.”
“Clearly.” He nodded. “Doesn’t matter. You familiar with any of my moves at all?”
You could’ve told him that you’d watched some of his matches in the viewing room before but something told you that he would think you were weird for that, so you simply shrugged and said, “kind of, not really.”
The way he eyed you made you think he knew you were lying.
“Never seen me do redrum?” He questioned, raising his brows.
“Maybe like one time.” You lied again, and that’s when his eyes narrowed, as if he was reading right through the bullshit.
He pushed his hair back and let his hand fall to his side with a smack to his hip before he stepped away from the punching bag and over to a bench, grabbing an almost empty water bottle and chugging the rest.
He crumbled the plastic before tossing it in the trash can halfway across the room and walking back over. He stood in front of you. It seemed to you like the man didn’t know the definition of personal space.
“Are you familiar with a half nelson at least?”
You shot him a questionable look, feeling the sarcasm dripping from his question.
“Pretty sure everyone is.” You crossed your arms, deadpanning on him in an attempt to dish it right back. His lips fold in and that’s when you couldn’t help but notice a dimple on his right cheek.
“Alright then-“ he held his arms out to his sides. “Put me in one.”
You shot him another look, wondering if that was a serious request or not. He stared at you, clearly waiting. It didn’t seem probable since the man towered over you.
“How do I do that when you’re like, six foot tall?” You asked, holding your own arms out. “I’m obviously too short to reach.”
“Size doesn’t matter. It’s the way you utilize your body. Anna’s taller than you, how do you expect to put her in a choke? Wait for her to get down?”
“I wasn’t planning to until you said I needed to learn your moves. I have a couple of my own.”
“And clearly they don’t work too well.” He counters comebacks quickly, you realize.
“If you can’t reach, use your legs first.” He instructed, suddenly having a more serious edge to his voice. “If that means you have to jump on their back, then do that. I’ve had to a time or two.” He shrugged before he waved you foward.
You dropped your arms and eyed him skeptically. An uneasy feeling was trying to take over simply because the thought of wrestling around with a man twice your size didn’t seem like the smartest idea.
“You’re not gonna sling me over your shoulder or something, are you?”
You caught the brief flash of confusion that crossed through his eyes before they returned to that cold stare he perfected.
“No, Y/N.” He huffed in annoyance. “I’m not gonna do anything but let you take me down. I’m gonna fall foward though, not back, so if you go flying off of me that’s on you.”
In his mind he was wondering why you were so apprehensive about this. Did you really think he was going to hurt you? He might not be all that friendly but he didn’t have intentions to harm you. Either way, he pushed past those thoughts and focused on the task at hand.
You nodded in understanding before you circled around him, taking a step back for more momentum when you sprung foward. Your legs wrapped tightly around his waist, knees locking in underneath his ribs and you heard a low grunt reverberate through his throat.
“Am I hurting you?” You loosened your legs but felt his hands grab them, keeping you wrapped tightly around him.
“Nope, always keep your legs tight. I’m good. Lock it in.”
You did as you were told, snaking one arm beneath his jaw and the other under his arm, bringing it up and pushing his head down until you felt him falling foward with a low, “Fuck” beneath his breath.
You held on tight as his knees hit the floor and he tapped on your arm quickly. You unwrapped yourself and stood back up, offering your hand to help him to his feet, but he ignored it.
“Was that right?” You asked, feeling somewhat prideful about the way you just brought a six foot tall, two hundred pound man down to his knees with his own finisher.
He nodded, rubbing his neck. “Yeah, that was right.” He cleared his throat. He then eyed you with a somewhat unreadable look on his face, eyes slightly narrowed.
“What?” You asked.
“You’ve never seen that before?” He resorted back to his previous question from earlier.
“I told you I have once.” You reminded him, but again, human lie detector comes out of him and it was evident.
“Most people don’t get it right the first time after seeing me do it more than once.”
“Well I did.” You shrugged, watching as he peered those eyes at you, reading straight through the bullshit once more just to hum in response.
“Not very believable but alright.” He muttered before he walked over to the bench and sat down, grabbing his hoodie and tossing it over his shoulder. You felt your clothes sticking to your body with sweat that wasn’t your own and peeled the fabric from your skin, just for it to stick right back.
Hook noticed this. “You got a little sweat on you.” He comments obviously.
“Do I? I didn’t notice.” You sarcastically replied, and another unreadable expression played on his face, one that had you wondering what he was thinking, but you didn’t ask. It returned back to that blank, emotionless look moments after.
“I have a match Wednesday.” He said as he ran his hand through his unruly hair. “You should probably be ringside.”
“Did Tony say that? I haven’t heard anything.”
“I’m saying that.” He leaned forward and rested his elbows on his knees, looking up at you. Your mouth clamped shut with that response. He clearly saw the mixed reaction playing on your face and made it a point to clarify.
“The more we’re together, the more we’ll sell.”
But something told you otherwise and you weren’t sure what. Something was nagging at you about his actual motives. If you remember correctly, he didn’t seem too pleased about being paired up with you to begin with.
“I didn’t think you cared so much about this storyline.” You tested. “You seemed really unhappy about it when we were in Tony’s office. And after, especially.” You referred to the first little conversation, or lack there of, in the hallway.
He looked down at his knuckles and a few scars on them before he looked back up at you.
“If we have to do it, I want to at least make it good.” He said, ignoring basically everything you just said. “That means we need to sell it. So we need to be seen together a lot more. Nobody’s gonna believe it if we’re only shot on segments and nowhere else.”
You nodded, understanding that fact.
“So when I have a match, you be there. When you have a match, I’ll be there.” He then stood up and threw on the black hoodie you always saw him wear at work before he walked past you, muttering a low, “see you Wednesday” under his breath before the gym doors shut behind him.
———
“Sounds like he wants to fuck you.” Willow bluntly stated after you told her and Skye all about what’s been going on lately. You felt your cheeks practically burn your skin but looked away in an attempt to hide it.
“Agreed.” Skye adds in. “Looks like someone’s not so coldhearted after all.”
“No, he definitely is.” You affirm with a quick nod. “He’s just good at selling a storyline. He’s a different person on camera than he is elsewhere.”
“He looks pretty angry all the time to me. On camera and every time I pass his grumpy ass in the halls” Willow chuckled and you couldn’t help but do the same. “And if he’s trying to sell the story purely, I don’t think he’d bother getting you down to the gym at almost two in the morning.”
“Well it was to teach me his finisher for when we have that tagteam match.” You justified, but they didn’t buy it.
“That could’ve waited for a day time hour, Y/N.” Skye tried to convince you, but there was no use in that. You looked at the time and realized his match was starting soon. You got up from the seat, thankful for an excuse to leave the conversation.
“I’m needed ringside.” You tell them, noting the smirks on their face before you left.
Hook was already in the gorilla waiting for his music to hit when you finally got there. His back was turned and head hung as he pushed himself back and to against the bars.
“Hey.” You breathlessly said, due to nearly racing to be in time. He turned his head, looking over his shoulder as he kept doing what looked to you like mid air push ups, assuming it was just something he did to get amped up.
His eyes adverted down to your shirt. You didn’t have a match tonight so you didn’t bother throwing on your ring gear. He was wearing all black this time, and you were wearing a bright yellow top and black shorts.
“Hey sunshine.” He said with a condescending, mocking tone as he eyed your apparel.
“Sunshine? Why? Because of my shirt?” You asked. “Was I supposed to match you or something?”
He shook his head and dropped it, exposing that dimple again. He pushed himself off the rails to stand up straight, looking down at you rather dramatically with the way he dropped his head.
“I didn’t say anything about your clothes.”
“You insinuated by the way you looked at my yellow shirt, then called me sunshine.” You pointed out, watching an amused grin spread across his lips before he dropped his head to cover it. You know you weren’t mistaking.
It was then that his music hit and the pop of the arena was already ringing your ears. He headed through the tunnel and you followed, unsure what you were actually supposed to do now that you were here.
The crowd went crazy when hook came out, but nearly insane when you popped out right behind him. He stopped at the top of the ramp to look amongst the sea of faces, and you endured it all next to him. You turned to look at him, only to find him staring down at you.
He nodded towards the ring, signaling for you to take the lead, so you did. On commentary once again, Taz was hyping it up for the viewers at home.
“That’s hook right there folks. The coldhearted handsome devil. He’s being accompanied by one of AEW’s crowd favorites, Y/N for this match. These two have been joined at the hip ever since Anna Jay knocked her upside the head with the FTW title. They’ve got each others backs, I’ll tell you that much.”
If you could hear commentary it would probably make you laugh just how much his dad sells the storyline.
You stopped at the end of the ramp and waited for hook to walk down. He stopped next to you for a moment, the cameraman panning in on the two of you taking in the crowd reactions before he nodded towards where you would be standing, signaling for you to take your place while he rounds the ring.
When the bell rings and the match gets started, you watch on from where you stood leaning against the canvas. You’ve seen a few of his matches but never up close. It was clear exactly why he was favored in this industry. His quickness and agility was otherworldly. He was fast thinking and cleverly destructive.
He made quick work of getting his opponent down. It had only taken about three and a half minutes and the redrum was locked in, and seconds after, his music boomed through the arena.
You clapped genuinely, watching as he got to his feet and slipped out the ring on your side. He nodded towards the tunnels and by this point you already knew to take the lead while he walks behind you. No idea why he prefers it that way, but you didn’t question.
When you reached the stage, you stopped and turned to face the crowd. He got up next to you and looked at you questionably when you grabbed his wrist, even though he already knew what you were going to do.
You raised his hand in the air and listened to the crowd explode. The pop was unlike anything you’d witnessed yourself, and it was doing a pretty good job at bringing your confidence level way up.
“Probably one of AEW’s most unlikely duos. The coldhearted handsome devil and Y/N look like night and day standing next to each other.” Excalibur mentions on commentary.
“Their appearances may be complete opposites but don’t let that fool you my guy. These two are a force to be reckoned with.” Taz adds.
You get halfway through the tunnel when you look over your shoulder to find hook trailing closely behind you.
“Good job.” You smile at him, though he doesn’t return the smile back. You didn’t expect him to, anyway. He hummed in response and dropped his head, ruffling his hair.
Just then, a text came through to your phone. You pulled it out of your pocket and read the group chat message.
“It’s Tony.” You tell hook. “He said me being ringside was a nice touch for whoever’s idea that was. Want me to tell him it was yours?”
“Nah.” He shortly replied. “Did he say anything else?” He asked, seeming a little curious.
“No.” You told him, watching as he nods once. “What do you think we’ll be doing next? Another segment? When even is this tagteam match happening?”
“Ask him.” He mutters.
He wasn’t saying much all of the sudden which confused you. It was like he retreated into a shell after he decided he didn’t like the outside world for the two minutes he experienced it.
“Are you tired?” You asked, noticing the questioning glance he gave you.
“No?”
“Oh. You sound tired.” You added as you headed down the hall with him, unsure where you were actually going since you just got caught up in talking to him.
“Not tired” he sighed, giving you the impression that he didn’t want to talk at all anymore. Or maybe he never even did in the first place.
“Alright well, I’ll see you next week then.” Your voice was far weaker than his was. He slowed down but didn’t stop, muttering “alright” before he kept walking down the hallway, leaving you standing in the middle of it for what felt like the hundredth time watching him leave.
———
A text from Tony came through two days later. It was a graph with the ratings for Wednesday night’s show and apparently the interactions with you and Hook brought a lot of attention on.
You were typing a reply when another message came through. It was next weeks plans for the two of you. Reading over it, you couldn’t help but to be confused. Apparently you were supposed to interfere in one of Anna’s matches that Jack was going to be standing ringside for. This time, you were going to be the one using the belt against her after hook takes it from jack.
Sounded like heel work in your opinion.
You didn’t reply due to the fact that you weren’t sure what to say, but hook did. His message came through a few minutes after the text was sent and was nothing but a simple okay emoji.
That night, you received a text from hook. It was short and simple like all the other ones had been.
“you own any black clothes?”
You felt like you could feel the sarcasm through the screen. What kind of question was that?
“Why?” You replied, not having much time to close your phone before another one came through.
“so we can match”
You understood the reasoning but weren’t super thrilled about black of all colors.
“Do you own anything other than black clothes?” You retorted. This time there was a pause between messages.
“what color do you want to wear, y/n” if you were standing in front of him having this conversation you just knew he’d have that bored look on his face. You thought for a minute about a reasonable color. Then decided on one he probably would glare at you for.
“Got anything yellow?” You grinned to yourself knowing that he was probably going to roll his eyes at that one.
“no.”
“Fine… Blue?”
“no.”
“Red?”
“no. wear black wednesday”
You stared down at that message for a moment debating on what to say back. You looked across the room at your suitcase overflowing with clothes but you already knew the only article of clothing you brought with you that was all black was a dress you wore to go out in. Nothing reasonable for the show.
“I don’t have anything black suitable for tv.”
“how would something not be suitable? just wear it”
You sighed deeply as you walked over to your suitcase and pulled out the dress that you only wore once simply because it rode up way too high all night long. You threw it on the bed and snapped a picture, sending it to him.
“This is it and I’m not wearing it.”
There was a couple moments that passed before you received a message back.
“i don’t see the issue”
“It’s revealing.”
“so is your ring gear but you still wear it?” You stared at that message wondering why you were standing in the middle of the room arguing with that man right now. And still, you continue to do so.
“That’s ring gear. That’s different.”
This time, a good five minutes pass by before he replies. You had just tossed your phone on the bed when you figured he was done texting only to grab it almost as quickly as you tossed it when your phone buzzed again.
“ill bring one of my hoodies then”
On the other end of the phone, Tyler was sitting at a restaurant table with his dad going over the next couple of weeks.
Taz was the one who told him that the two of you should match and it would probably do good at winning over the crowd and the viewers, but he was thinking more along the lines of his son wearing something other than the typical black attire he exhausts.
“It’s funny seeing you two up on that stage” taz chuckles as he digs his fork into his pasta. “You’re like the moon and she’s the sun, for now at least”
Tyler’s eyes lifted from his phone. He was staring at the three little dots while he awaited your response. He said he’d bring you one of his hoodies and for some reason he was apprehensive about sending that message. It felt like odd territory to him to be letting you wear his clothes, but apparently all you had was a little black dress you didn’t feel comfortable wearing.
“And I’ll tell you another thing, when you two team up in that ring, the fans are gonna lose their freakin’ minds”
Just then, a text came through and for some reason a slight smile landed on tyler’s lips, until his dad called it out.
“Who’s that?” He questioned, trying to lean foward to steal a glance at his son’s phone. He was quick to lock it and stuff it in his pocket.
“Y/N.” He muttered before he dug his own fork into his food.
“Have you talked to her about the turn yet?” Taz asked, and Tyler froze for a second.
“Nah, not yet.”
“She doesn’t know?” He questioned, looking a bit taken back. “What does she think the plans for you two are? You have to tell her, son.”
“I’m pretty sure she’ll figure it out on her own.” He grumbled, leaning back in his seat and dropping the fork against his plate.
“Tyler” taz shot him a look, “It was your idea. You need to be the one to tell her straight.”
And it was his idea. He approached Tony shortly after he left you in the hallway that first time the two of you talked, and pitched the idea that you should have a heel run by his side. Tony wasn’t apprehensive at all. To him, and to Hook, the idea of an America’s Sweetheart type of personality completely doing a 180 with the coldhearted handsome devil was golden.
It was just that he told Tony that he’d talk to you about it and never did. Plans had changed from the originality of the first idea and you had no clue about it.
“What’s gonna happen when she’s supposed to go out in front of thousands of people as a heel, and she’s thinking she’s still this babyface character?” Taz reasons, making Tyler drop his eyes to the table.
“She needs time to prepare. It’s not easy going a complete 180 son. Especially not if you wait until last minute to tell her.”
He retrieved his phone from his pocket and read your message back.
“Thank you” was all you said. His thumbs hovered over the screen before he finally managed a response. It was hard to put it into words for some reason and when he realized what it sounded like, he had to send a double text for clarification.
“can you come to my room later”
“to talk. it’s kinda important”
———
Later meant way later than you expected when Hook sent you the text letting you know what room number he was in at midnight.
Regardless of how tired you were, you were way more anxious than anything to figure out what was so important. You reached room 235 and knocked on his door. You heard some shuffling around before he opened it, hair even messier than usual and eyes low, like he was on the verge of passing out himself.
He stepped back and waved you in. You walked in and eyed him as he walked around you. He didn’t sit down anywhere and you didn’t make yourself comfy either. This was awkward. Probably the most awkward encounter you’ve had with him yet.
Truth was that he was a little nervous. He didn’t know how you were going to take the fact that this entire time, you were working on a heel turn without even knowing it. And he was the one behind it all.
He looked down at you, leaning against the wall as he contemplated the best way to go about the conversation. He never really got nervous about anything so this was fairly new and rather uncomfortable for him.
“Did you get that message from Tony about Wednesday?” He started off by asking, and you slowly nodded. You eyed him, trying to read an unreadable man.
“What did you think about it?” He was doing a good job at reading you though. Wasn’t hard since you had a tendency to wear your emotions on your face. He could tell you were skeptical of him in that moment by the way you stared at him solely. He’s seen that look from you a couple dozen times already and the only other one he can recognize that easily is the look you give when he makes a smart comment to you.
“You mean about me using the title to hit Anna? It sounded like heel work to me.” You told him, watching as he nodded.
“Cause it is.”
You blinked twice. “I’m not a heel.”
“I talked to Tony about this storyline a while back. We agreed it’s a better idea if you have a heel run with me.”
You stared up at him, a bit lost. The original idea was for the babyfaces to win in the end, since jack and Anna were already heels. Now it turns out that you had a whole new character transition coming you didn’t even know about in the first place and frankly, you were unsure how to feel.
“Wait so this whole time I’ve been working on turning heel? And you knew that and didn’t tell me?” You peered your eyes at him, glaring. “Why not?”
“Never had the chance, I guess.” He shrugged.
“Never had the chance?” You felt your eyes form into small slits. “You had plenty. How come you got to decide what I do with my gimmick and I didn’t even get the chance to give my opinion?”
Just then, a voice popped into his head, belonging to his dad. Women don’t like when you lie to them, son.
He didn’t intend to lie. It just happened that way. He kind of assumed you’d catch on with the whole heel turn thing and not ask questions but now that he knows you a little better, he knows better than that.
“Your goody two shoes persona wasn’t working well for you anyway, Y/N. We knew it wouldn’t sell for a storyline like this so we came up with something better. If Tony pitched the idea you wouldn’t be getting all fired up at him”
“It’s not the fact that I’ll be turning heel, it’s the fact that nobody told me. Especially you.” You pointed out. You weren’t even mad about the new plans. You would’ve agreed to it anyway if that was the first idea Tony pitched, but you were walking around with no idea what was coming for you and that alone made you more nervous than you needed to be.
“Maybe you didn’t realize, but this is my very first storyline. The last thing I want to do is blow my chance at another one and I’ve been going around absolutely oblivious to the fact that I’m expected to do a whole heel turn in who knows how soon, and you just let me look stupid when you were the one who unrightfully came up with the idea in the first place!”
You rarely yelled at people and he rarely ever got yelled at. It was heightening the tensions between both of you and he expected as much, but didn’t foresee you chewing him out this bad.
“You’re not going around looking stupid! Tony gives you the rundown every week. You know what’s coming and if you didn’t by now you would’ve figured it out.”
You were somewhat baffled by his defensiveness. There was no true justification to what he omitted and he probably knew that full well and just didn’t want to admit he was wrong.
“Yeah, like last minute!” You shout, not meaning to be as loud as you were but you couldn’t help it. “This means something to me, Tyler!”
The use of his name took him back a little and you didn’t mean for that to slip in the first place but for some reason Hook wasn’t the first name to come out in that moment.
Just then, there was a knock on his door that caught both of your attentions.
“Go away” he shouted, but that’s when his dad’s voice reached both of you.
“Open the door, son.”
He rolled his eyes as he walked over. Opening the door and taking a step back so taz could walk in. It was strange to see him wearing pajamas but you ignored that.
“I can hear you two across the hall. What is going on in here?”
Tyler looked at you for a second before he looked back at his dad. “She’s not happy about the heel run.”
“No-“ you stepped forward, correcting him. “I’m not happy about being lied to.”
Taz gave his son a look. A stern I told you so kind of glance.
“Alright” taz held his hands up, “I get that, Y/N. I told this man that he needed to let you know what was going on and not at the very last minute. He doesn’t listen to nobody but himself and half the time that steers him wrong.”
“Clearly.” You huffed out, crossing your arms.
He turned to Tyler and shrugged. “This one’s on you bud. Make it right but keep it down. We don’t need to draw attention.”
You nodded and taz made his way back out, leaving you and Tyler alone once again. He dropped his head and ran his hands through his hair, thinking.
“I’m not happy about this.” You state.
“Couldn’t tell.” He muttered under his breath. The fact that he had the audacity to be sarcastic was mind blowing to you. It made you actually want to scream at him but the last thing you wanted was Taz to come back and give you both some sort of lecture or something.
Tyler picked his head up, tired eyes landing on you. “I’m sorry for not telling you sooner.” He said, shrugging his shoulders. It was a half ass apology but the only one he’d ever given. He never really cared to give anyone that type of respect, or what he thinks is respect in his mind.
“There was no reason why you kept it from me.” You remind him, watching him nod.
“I know.” He sighed.
“And I have a right to be mad right now because my whole entire image is about to change dramatically and I haven’t even been prepared for it.”
“Yeah, but you’re not doing it all on your own. You’re doing it with me. I’m turning too.”
“Yeah, but you had time to prepare for that.” You pointedly state. “How much time do I have? Literally I’m about to start at the next show and I didn’t even realize it.”
“It’s not something you really have to prepare for, Y/N. You just go out there and put on a show. It’s not much different than what we do right now.” He walked around you and made his way to the bed, sitting down on the edge.
“It’s different for me. I’m not mean in general. I need to practice.”
You watched a weird look cross over his face, bringing his lips up in a faint smirk. “You’re not mean?” He quirked a brow. “Not even a little bit?”
“No?” You shrugged.
You heard a low chuckle before he looked down at his phone in hand. You sighed when you realized that this conversation was probably going nowhere fast and the best thing you could do was accept the reality of the situation and work with what you’re dealing with.
“Since you seem to think it’s easy becoming a whole different person, tell me where to start.” You plopped down on the chair awkwardly positioned halfway across the room. His eyes lifted from his phone before he tossed it to the side.
“It’s just acting, Y/N. It’s not like you’re becoming a different person all together. It’s literally one day out of the week that you put on a tough face and sell a gimmick. There’s nothing complicated about it. You’re complicating it yourself.”
You glared at him and the annoyance that was so evident in his tone. He sighed and leaned back on his hands, his eyes lowering by the second.
“I guess just start acting like you hate the world. Go out there and give everyone the biggest eat shit look. Be a little more aggressive in the ring and more no fucks given outside of it.” He advised, watching you nod before you stood up from the chair.
“So basically, be more like you.” You pointed out. Before he could respond to that, you held up your hand to silence him. “Got it.” You said before you left his room.
———
“Doesn’t make sense why he didn’t tell you.” Skye says as you and her head down the hall towards catering. “It’s literally your gimmick changing.”
“I know.” You roll your eyes. You were sick and tired of thinking on it. At this point you’d decided to stop wishing you would’ve known beforehand, since clearly there was no changing that, and take the bull by the horns.
Even though Tyler told you that nothing really changes, everything was about to. Your persona, your ring gear, especially your attitude. You had a lot of winning over to do and you were determined to use this transformation to the best of your ability. No matter how bitter you might feel about the fact that he kept the whole thing from you for weeks.
“Doesn’t matter. I’m gonna be a good heel. I’ve been thinking about all of it. I have tons of ideas and I’m starting to actually get excited about it.” You told her, rounding the corner.
“Speak of the devil.” Skye muttered. “Want me to wait up for you or are you good?”
“I’m good.” You nod as you watch him slowly approach with a black hoodie on and one draped across his shoulder.
He got a look from Skye as she passed by but he didn’t pay attention. He pulled that hoodie off of his shoulder and handed it to you wordlessly. You eyed him as you took it from his hand and threw it over your own shoulder. You hadn’t spoke since that night in his room and he’d been meaning to ask you if you were still mad but never ended up doing so.
The look you were giving him was telling him the answer is definitely yes, you’re still mad.
“I’m going out tomorrow to get some different clothes for my heel era so Ill give this back to you after we’re done tonight.”
“Alright.” He nodded, watching as you pull the hoodie off and hold it up to see it better. Clearly it was going to swallow you whole.
“This might as well be a baggy dress on me.” You pointed out as you held it against your body, showing that it falls nearly to your knees. He noticed the same thing.
“You can cut it if you need to.” He shrugged. “To make it fit decently.”
Your brows knitted together as you looked back up at him. “If I’m giving it back why would I cut it?”
He shrugged again, looking down at the large hoodie covering you whole.
“You can keep it. I don’t really care. Might need to match again sometime later.”
For some reason he was being nice and it was strange to you. You’d chalked it up to the fact that he feels guilty for lying to you. As he should. You tossed the hoodie back over your shoulder.
“I’ll deal with it. You can have it back later.” You say before you brush past him and head down to catering to meet up with Skye.
“What happened?” She asked when you took a seat. Her eyes adverted to your shoulder. “Is that his hoodie he was just wearing?!” You could see the thoughts rolling around in her mind and quickly shut them down. You slung the hoodie down on the table.
“No, not the one he was just wearing, Skye. Just one of them.”
“You’re wearing his clothes? What did I miss in the last five minutes?”
“Nothing.” You shake your head. “He texted me a few days ago telling me I needed to wear black so we could match and I told him I didn’t have anything. So he brought me his hoodie. I’m giving it back right after our interference and getting some new clothes tomorrow.”
She held a weird grin on her face before she looked down at her phone. “Mmkay.” She chuckled.
“What?” You peered your eyes at her.
“Nothing it’s just- it’s funny.” She shrugged.
“What is?”
“The fact that you pretend to be so annoyed by him but you’re willingly going to wear his hoodie.” She pointed at the clothing on the table. “It’s funny.”
“I don’t pretend to be so annoyed by him. He actually does annoy me. I tried to be his friend but he’s so hot and cold all the time. He will be a decent person one minute and an asshole the next, it’s exhausting.” You rambled, making sure she got the point but judging by the smirk on her face, she didn’t buy it.
“Right.” She nodded. “Well it’s almost nine. You should be meeting up with lover boy for your interference in a few minutes.” She teased, earning another roll of your eyes as you stood up from the table with a huff. “Don’t forget his hoodie.” She said before you snatched it up and headed out of catering.
He wasn’t there when you got to the gorilla but you knew he’d show soon. The directors were standing by, seemingly waiting for Hook so they could send you both out at the right time.
You took that time to toss the hoodie on, and it did nothing at all for your figure. It was far baggier than you expected, so much that the sleeves swallowed your hands.
You heard footsteps behind you tracking fast and turned to face the man in question. He took one look at you and his lips turned up in a smirk he was clearly trying to hide.
“This thing is huge on me.” You deadpan.
“I told you to cut it.” He reminds you. Then he reaches down to the ends of the sleeves and rolls them up so your hands are exposed. “Can’t fight if you don’t have fists.”
You stared at him while he rolled the other sleeve up. When your hands were exposed you pulled your hair out of the hood and did your best to make yourself decent before the music hit. As much as you could given the circumstances, at least.
Tyler held his gaze on you for a moment longer before he tore it away the moment your eyes connected, looking down at the floor and fluffing his hair. For once, you matched. You’d noticed his gold cross pendant he was wearing and remembered the one you had on yourself.
“Funny.” You said dryly. “I have one too.”
You pulled the necklace out from under the hoodie and laid it against your chest. He looked down and nodded. “I noticed.” He said, just as your music hit.
You turned around and got ready for your first appearance leading up to a heel turn. You didn’t want to psych yourself out about it, but you felt a little nervous.
“Never thought I’d be coming out to this type of song.” He commented from behind you.
“It’ll be changing soon, evidently.” You muttered before heading down the tunnel.
Anna was staring at the stage when you and Hook came through the tunnel. He threw on his best scowl and it made it a little easier for you to mimick him. Jack came racing up the ramp, hook moving you to the side before he lunged towards Perry.
He snatched the belt clean from jacks hands and tossed it over to you. The crowd went completely and utterly insane as the boys backed down the ramp, throwing punches everywhere they could visibly see of each other’s bodies.
You raced towards the ring as anna was sliding out of it, calling jacks name over and over in an attempt to get him away from hook, and as soon as she had noticed you getting close, she turned around and you slammed the title into the side of her head like she’d done to you weeks prior.
She fell to the floor and Jack immediately rushed to her aid, screaming and cursing you and Hook as you held up the title and shouted back, “This is gonna be his. You just wait! It was always his!”
A proud smirk from hook was caught on camera but you didn’t get to see it. He knew that there were no lines to this. You just came up with something and the fast thinking was what really got him.
Jack then got up to his feet and raced towards you both, but hook stepped in front of you and held his arm out, blocking Perry from getting any closer.
On commentary, everyone was eating the whole situation up.
“Looks like the coldhearted handsome devil has made quite an impact on Y/N!” Excalibur shouted through his headpiece. “This is wild!”
“That it is my friend. I said it from the start. Those two are an absolute force to be reckoned with. God help jack and Anna. Wouldn’t wanna be those clowns right now.” Taz chuckled.
You and hook walked back up to the stage and just before you were about to head through the face tunnel, he grabbed your wrist and nodded his head to the left.
You looked up at him, realizing it was happening this soon. You heard the commotion from thousands around the second you let him lead you through to the heel side, in your mind, you made it official. You were no longer the babyface you’d been for over a year. The transition was starting faster than you’d expected but, it felt a tad bit easier to have someone doing it with you.
“That’s not a shock to me. I could see that coming with those two. Bonnie and Clyde of AEW.” tony announced from commentary.
“Y/N and Hook have made their impression here tonight, and they’re just getting started boys.”
You couldn’t deny that you had an adrenaline rush running ramped. He turned around to let you catch up to him before you entered the hallway.
“How’d it feel?” He asked.
At that moment you almost felt thankful to him for pitching the heel turn idea to Tony in the first place but then you remembered how he kept it from you for weeks. Either way you were able to not let that bother you for the time being.
“Kind of exhilarating. Did you hear that crowd?” You say as you round the corner. There’s looks being sent your way from multiple talent. In your mind it’s judgement but in all actuality they’re wondering how long you and Hook have been hooking up on the low.
“Yeah, they loved it.” He says. He walked a little slower than usual. Usually he was ready to get to the shower but he didn’t mind talking to you a little before that today. He wouldn’t tell you that though.
“I didn’t expect it.” You say. Just then someone calls your name. You turn around and find that it’s Ricky. He reaches his hand out to dap hook up but his eyes stay on you.
“That was fucking crazy what you did out there.” He tells you, making a grin spread across your lips. “I never expected you to turn heel, especially not with my man Hook.” He throws his arm around hooks shoulders, and he stiffens them immediately.
“Next time you’re on I need a heads up so I can watch in the viewing room. Both of you.” He looks at Hook who suddenly has a stiff jaw. He picked up on a vibe Ricky was emitting and he didn’t like it. He didn’t know why but he wanted to get you away from him.
“Thanks Ricky.” You smiled before he nodded his head and gave Hook a pat on his back. “Good choice man.”
You didn’t miss the way hooks eyes followed him all the way down the hall. He suddenly looked like he reverted right back to the version of him you had an unfortunate encounter with weeks ago.
“You okay?” You asked, but he didn’t look at you until Ricky was out of his sights. Then he turned back started walking. You followed close behind, reaching for his arm when you realize you were being ignored.
“Hey” you stopped him. He turned to face you but kept his head down, staring at the floor. “Why do you suddenly look so mad? What just happened?”
“I’m not.” He picked his head up. You could see it on his face. It was clear as day whether he wanted it to be or not.
“You are though.” You attested. “Did he do something to you? I thought you were friends.”
“Can you drop it?” He quickly cut in with a sharp tone. You took a step back, almost feeling like his words forcefully pushed you away. He noticed the distance you put in and his eyes seemed to have softened, but only for a mere second.
He turned back towards the hall and muttered, “see you next week, Y/N.” Before, once again, he left you there watching him go.
———-
“Clearly jealous.” Willow nods dramatically.
“Obviously.” Skye agrees.
“That’s hard for me to believe.” You tell them as you adjust your ring gear. You had a segment to shoot tonight in the ring. It was going to be the first time you actually talked in front of the crowd and you were beyond anxious about it. Tyler was going to be in the ring with you but he wasn’t going to say anything and the fact that you hadn’t spoken to him since that last conversation made you even more nervous.
“Because he wants you.” Willow smirked. “And if you haven’t already heard, everyone is talking about it.”
“Who’s everyone?” You asked as you strapped the laces on your new shoes. It was going to be a little difficult to break in another pair but you assumed that was the price you pay when you turn heel and can’t wear bright, glorious colors anymore.
That was the whole reason you donned an all black attire tonight. Black nails to match. It was never something you expected to wear but if you were going to be a heel you were going to rock it.
“Everyone as in everyone in this building right now.” Willow says. “People keep wondering how long you’ve been secretly hooking up under everyone’s nose.”
“But we’re not.”
“Not yet.” Skye points. “I give it two more weeks and you’re going to send us a picture from his room.”
“I give it one and a half.”
You rolled your eyes and stood up from the bench. “It’s not gonna happen. It’s nothing like that.”
“Then why did he suddenly get all weird when Ricky came up to you?” Willow raised her brows. “Skye, please tell me, why would a man do that?”
“Because he’s jealous. Because he wants you.” She answered, and you shook your head back.
“Whatever. I have to go. I have a segment in the ring in about ten minutes.”
“Good luck. We’ll be watching from the viewing room.” Willow calls out as you head through the door.
To your surprise, Tyler was already waiting for you when you reached the gorilla. To his surprise, you looked like a certified heel. The new attire and dark makeup, it looked way too natural on you.
He had on that signature black hoodie which reminded you of the one you had laying across your bed that you forgot to give back to him.
“Shit, I forgot I still have your hoodie.” You blurted, watching his dark eyes linger down to your attire before they made their way back to your face.
“Told you to keep it.” He said. It was clear he was in another one of his moods again tonight. It was really starting to bother you how he switches so fast, but right now the last thing you needed was to get in an argument and forget your lines. This time you knew you had them memorized thanks to staying up until three am studying them.
“I’ll give it back next time I see you.” You mumbled before music started playing and a song he recognized, but not as your own reached his ears.
“You changed the music?” He asked as he stepped to the side to let you lead.
“I’m a heel now, remember?”
You slid past him and made your way out. It was strange knowing you could no longer interact with the fans. Usually you’d blow a kiss or tag their hands but now you practically ignored them. At least they were engaged and supportive of this new you, so it seemed. Or maybe they were just going crazy over the two of you. Either way, you weren’t the ones getting boo’d.
You plastered a scowling look on your face and tried to keep it there as you made your way to the ring. Hook followed closely behind you, trying not to bob his head to your music.
You slid under the ropes and he took the steps, but you both met back in the middle. You took a minute to take in the reactions from the crowd. It was something you had to try hard not to smile about. Which was going to take some work.
Tony Schiavone handed you a mic and you snatched it from his hand, all for the dramatics, of course.
“Ladies and gentlemen, if you haven’t already noticed, you’re looking at two of the absolute best AEW has ever had to offer you.” You pointed at Hook who nodded his head, stepping side to side on his feet.
You weren’t being boo’d, which came as a thrill to you. If they were eating it up you just wanted to give them more.
“When Anna Jay and Jack Perry made the unfortunate decision to target us, we made the decision to fight back, and what you saw last week when I knocked that bitch out with Hook’s FTW title-“ you paused to make sure the fans were taking it all in, “It was just the beginning.”
You looked over at Hook who continued to nod, chewing on a piece of gum as his eyes scanned the crowd.
“And when Anna recovers from that blow to the head she took from me, I’ll be waiting. And as for Jack, well” you chuckled darkly as you nodded towards your partner, “Let’s just say Hook was some fun things planned for him.”
He looked over at you, and you could see a faint smile on his face before he ran his hand over his lips.
“You see, I realized something a little while ago. You know, after Anna smashed the FTW title into my head?” You reminded the crowd of weeks ago.
“It’s that being nice gets you used and abused. All the times I’ve let that bitch get away with attacking me, I regret it. I really do, but it’s alright, because it will never happen again.”
The crowd popped when you took a pause, but you had to keep that cold expression on your face.
“So Anna Jay, Jungleboy, if you’re watching from the hospital, I just want to say, get well soon. Please.” The camera panned on you and you shot a mischievous grin before you dropped the mic and heard the crowd scream their lungs out.
Your music hit and Hook walked over to the ropes, holding one up for you to slip through.
You headed towards the stage, trying not to let a smile break out. You felt his arm brush yours as he walked alongside you.
When you disappeared through the tunnel you huffed out a deep breath. “Fuck that was exciting.” You chuckled as you placed your hand over your racing heart.
“Fun isn’t it?” He asked as he squeezed into the space next to you.
“Yeah, really fun.” You said before rounding the corner to find Skye standing there. Her match was next but you’d forgotten that in the mix of everything. Her eyes lingered to the man next to you before they fell to you with a smirk plastering her face.
“That was hot.” She remarked as she walked up to you. Tyler stopped when you did, to your surprise and Skye’s.
“You think it was good?” You asked.
“It was perfect. You are doing the damn thing, isn’t she hook?”
You could see what she was doing and tried to send her a look but her eyes were on him instead.
“Yeah, she did real good.” He nodded. That’s when she looked at you again and caught the look you sent.
“You two are a good duo. Can’t wait to see what comes next.” She ran her hand over your arm before she brushed past you.
Tyler looked back down at you and you hoped he didn’t pick up on Skye’s insinuations. He did, but he didn’t mention it.
He started walking when you did, and again, you saw all the people around with their eyes on the two of you. You wondered if Skye and Willow were right. Did everyone think you and Tyler were hooking up? And if so, why? You didn’t think you gave that impression at all. It was just acting, like Tyler told you.
Truth is that Tyler had been approached quite a few times, being asked about you more often than not. He never gave anyone a straight answer, which obviously left them to make their own assumptions.
“Everyone keeps staring.” You whispered.
“They’ll do that.” He muttered back.
You were heading towards the locker room when Jeff Hardy came around a corner, a smile brought to his and Hook’s face when they saw each other.
“What’s up man.” Jeff greeted, “And ma’am.”
“What’s up” hook nodded.
Jeff’s eyes adverted between the two of you, then landed back on Hook. “When are we gonna see this duo beat some ass?” He asked, “I’m ready for it.”
“Whenever Tony calls the shot.” Hook shrugged. “I’m ready too. I think we both are.” He glanced at you. Jeff brought a full fledged smile to Hook’s face pretty easily. One you hadn’t seen from him in all the weeks you’d been around him.
“It’s highly anticipated. From a lot of people, actually.” Jeff chuckles and hook drops his head, seeming to try to hide that smile that you evidently caught.
“We can tell.” He says.
Jeff’s eyes switch back to you again before he looks back at Hook. Both men were grinning from ear to ear as if they had some sort of secret telepathy going on.
“Alright well I’ll see you around brother, and you maam.” He nodded his head and you nodded back.
“Alright bro.” Hook said before Jeff walked around the two of you.
“Best friend?” You teased, watching as he brought his hand to his mouth, physically wiping away that smile.
“Something like that, yeah.” He said as the two of you made your way towards your respected rooms.
“Kind of cool how everyone likes our heel turn. I thought we’d get hate for it.”
“We still might, but it’ll be alright.” He shrugged. You reached the end of the hall that branches off into two opposing directions and it hit you that this was the first time he hadn’t left you standing in the middle of it.
He stopped and turned to face you, adjusting the collar of his hoodie.
“You did good out there.” He tells you, surprisingly. “You should think so too.”
You were somewhat dumbfounded at the fact that he actually complimented you without underlying sarcasm. You smiled even though you didn’t mean to, assuming your lips had a mind of their own.
“Thanks.” You say as you suddenly feel the air getting thick, but not as suffocating as usual.
Hook nodded before his eyes adverted to the empty hall behind you. He didn’t have anywhere to really be, but he told you he did.
“I’m gonna go shower.” He lied for no reason. You just nodded. You felt your hands clamming up, sweat spreading across your palms and didn’t like it.
“Alright well, see you next week?” You didn’t know why you asked. Of course you’d see him next week. It’s been like that for a while now.
“Yeah.” He nodded before he brushed past you, heading one way while you headed the other.

A text from Tony at eleven in the morning got your attention that following Saturday.
“This is it. Big match Wednesday.” Was all it said.
It felt like you’d anticipated this whole thing for so long and now that it was coming you weren’t sure how to feel. You stared down at the message until another one came through, but not on the group chat.
“you ready?” He asked, clearly referring to Tony’s previous message.
“No lol” you replied back, but you were being honest.
“you’re ready” he quickly responded, and all you did was stare at those words for a minute to long.
Why it was making you nervous, you weren’t sure. Probably because it was your biggest match to date and held a lot of value to your current heel run but, what happens next? What happens when you and Hook beat Jack and Anna? Is there even going to be a you and Hook anymore?
Lots of questions were left unanswered because you were too hesitant to ask them. You just decided to play it by ear, but the thought of a heel run all on your own wasn’t very appealing to you. As much as you didn’t want to admit it, having Hook alongside you, sort of paving the way for all your antics made things less worrisome and a lot more fun for you.
You truly couldn’t picture doing it without him and that alone was something you never expected.
Another text came through and you were surprised to find that it was Skye. She sent you the picture from AEW’s instagram account when they announced the tagteam match on Wednesday.
“This is your biggest match yet girl. I’m so proud of you. You’re gonna kill it!”
You smiled down at your phone and typed a couple hearts back. The support you had made things a little easier but your nerves were still trying to get the best of you, and you assumed it was going to be that way until the match was over.
————
It was anticipated and highly talked about all over the internet. You were constantly being tagged on twitter, instagram and TikTok. It seemed like the whole world was awaiting this match and the time had finally come.
You were heading towards the gorilla with a racing heart. You kept trying to tell yourself that this was just like any other match, any other opponent but it wasn’t. It was your first match as a heel, first match as a tagteam and longest tv time to date. You had a couple moves you were expected to pull that you never had before and there was very little familiarity around the entire situation.
“Hey” you heard a deep voice from behind you. You turned around to find Ricky standing there.
“Hey” you smiled, adjusting your black wristbands.
“Good luck on your match tonight. Just wanted to say that.” He grinned, and it was then that you picked up on a vibe that you weren’t all that into. You took a small step back but kept your politeness.
“Thanks, I appreciate it.” You say. Before you can turn back, he asks another question. One that catches you off guard.
“Hey, are you and hook like, a thing?”
Your brows knitted together but you wiped that look away quickly. You were about to respond when you felt eyes on you, and just like all the times before, you knew Hook was around.
Ricky’s eyes adverted above your head and that’s when you felt warmth radiating against your back.
“Y/N, you ready?” His deep voice reached you, making your heart flutter for some reason.
He held his eyes on Ricky as you turned around to face him. You could see that familiar expression like before. Jaw set and teeth clenched. It was then that you realized Skye and Willow were right. Hook was jealous. He didn’t get that way at all when Jeff approached the two of you. It was just Ricky.
You spared the man a glance over your shoulder and caught the disappointment on his face, but you couldn’t take enough time to think about it when you had a match in a few minutes.
“What was he talking to you about?” Hook muttered next to you.
You felt a little nervous to say it, but when his eyes landed on you, it urged you to tell him.
“He wished me luck on the match and… he asked if we were a thing.”
His jaw throbbed and you caught it, but by the time that happened you were already reaching the gorilla.
What you didn’t know was that Ricky had been coming up to him asking the same thing, and at one point he expressed that he wanted to ask you to go out with him. He thought he made it clear when he glared the man down but evidently he didn’t make it clear enough. Either that or Ricky just didn’t care, which was what Hook was now figuring on.
He knew he couldn’t get distracted. A lot was riding on this match for you and he didn’t want to ruin that. He pushed the thoughts out of his head and turned to face you instead.
“Ready?” He asked, but he could tell that you were anxious. You still had those wide, round eyes that reminded him of a puppy and as much as you might be good at playing a heel, you just weren’t that person on the inside.
“Ready as I can be.” You nodded, attempting to collect yourself.
Jack’s music was almost finished and you knew that meant it was time for you and Hook to come out. You took in a deep breath and he noticed that it was shaky.
“Something that helps me when I feel under pressure is thinking about the look on the faces of all the people who ever doubted me when they have to watch me prove them wrong.” He blurted, shrugging a shoulder.
You thought on that. Remembering back when you first came to AEW and had no foothold in the industry. All the mean, offensive things you’d heard about yourself start replaying over and over again in your mind and to your surprise, you felt a little bit of adrenaline surge.
“That’s helpful, actually” you tell him, noticing the right side of his mouth tipping upwards.
Just then, the intro of Chairman’s Intent boomed through the speakers and Hook nodded. “Remember that if you get nervous.”
You nodded back before he stepped to the side, as he usually did, to let you lead the way.
You headed out with him trailing right behind you and held your eyes on both Anna and Jack standing in the ring, amping each other up.
The glares being shared between the four of you was making for great tensions arising in the arena and the crowd was intensely engaged in all of it, which made you happy, of course, but you couldn’t show that.
You headed in one direction and he headed in the other, you both circling the ring with eyes on your opponents.
When you passed each other, he held his hand out. You tagged it as you walked past and that simple interaction had the crowd bursting with cheers.
You met up at the steel steps and he stepped back, waving you to go first. You stepped up onto the canvas and slipped between the ropes, Hook following. He didn’t lean against the turnbuckles like he usually did but you assumed that was because this wasn’t one of his typical matches. He stayed at your side and shot daggers to jack and Anna.
You and Anna were going first. You walked up to her, showing no signs of intimidation as you stood toe to toe. She smirked down at you before forcefully pushing you a foot back, making you stumble before you caught your footing.
You wiped that grin off of her face when you delivered a harsh slap to her cheek and from that point on, the two of you were rolling around the ring, throwing fists and kneeing ribs until Paul said it was enough.
You put some separation between you two and that’s when she tagged Jack, so you went to your corner where hook was waiting with an extended hand, eyeing you as you approached.
“You good?”
“I’m good” you slapped his hand and he hopped over the top rope, lunging towards back with a force that knocked him off his feet.
The crowd went wild at his explosiveness and the energy in the arena was absolutely riveting. It could’ve given you a high at that point.
You watched as Hook clotheslined jack right over the ropes, and when he hit the floor, Anna hopped off of the canvas. Hook jumped down and grabbed jack by his hair, but that’s when Anna came behind him and jabbed her elbow into the side of his neck, bringing him down to his knees.
You hopped down and raced over, grabbing her from behind and spinning her until she slammed into the barricades. Hook watched for a moment before he returned his attention to jack.
The two of them were back in the ring while you and Anna threw punches on the outside.
She was way more aggressive than you were, making you feel the urge to hit a little harder. You heard Hook shouting and you both looked up, finding that Jack had used Hook’s redrum against him, but Hook was trying to fight it, and failing.
You kicked Anna back and created enough space to slide under the ropes and break the hold. Hook fell to his knees and jack rose to his feet, walking you back towards the turnbuckles before you felt annas hands around your ankles and your face crashed into the canvas.
You lifted your head to see blood stains dripping from your mouth. Your tongue slid over your teeth to see if one was broken but all you tasted was metallic.
You glanced up to see Hook’s eyes on you. He was in the middle of getting jack ready for a German Suplex when he got distracted by the blood pouring from your busted lip.
He snapped back into it and slung jack over, then got back to his feet like he didn’t take a harsh landing himself and walked over to you.
Kneeling down, he scanned every inch of your face. This wasn’t planned and you both knew that. There was concern in his eyes that quickly turned into undoubted rage when jack grabbed Hook’s shoulders from behind and slammed him down to the canvas.
It was only then that he realized you were bleeding but by that time, it was too late for him.
Hook rose up quickly and threw his fists into jacks jaw. He stumbled back, falling against the turnbuckles and hook just didn’t stop.
Paul had to separate the two, and you when he did, Jack shouted out, “I didn’t know she was bleeding man!”
You got back up and saw the look on Anna’s face when she noticed all the blood leaving a trail from your lip to your chin. She didn’t mean it, and you weren’t mad. Accidents happened all the time, it’s a part of the business.
Hook’s eyes followed you as you walked around the ring back over to your corner, and tensions seemed to have died down when he saw that you were okay.
You held your hand out for him, knowing you and Anna were the ones finishing the match and he hesitated a little bit before he tagged you in.
“You alright?” He asked, and you nodded before you hopped over the top rope.
Anna lunged foward and you stepped to the side, letting her slam into the turnbuckle. Hook smirked at this, it was a classic move.
You grabbed her by the back of her head and slammed her down on her back, watching as she clutched her neck and rolled around, before you pulled her back up.
You knew what was next and had to remember what Hook said that night that you learned you’d be using his finisher to end this match.
Anna was a good bit taller but since you brought a six foot man to his knees, you knew size wasn’t an obstacle.
She turned her back in an attempt to create some distance and you quickly sprung forward and hopped on her. Jack immediately slid under the ropes but that’s when hook raced in and wrapped his arm under his jaw, immediately making him wobbly at the knees.
“Lock it in!” Hook shouted at you as he hopped up and wrapped his legs around jacks waist, effectively bringing him down to the canvas.
You dug your knees into Anna’s sides and reared back, holding on tight when your back hit the canvas and within only seconds, they both tapped out and Hook’s music bursted through the arena, though it wasn’t too easy to hear over the eruption of the crowd.
You kicked Anna’s limp body off of you and looked up to see Hook’s extended hand. You took it, helping you to your feet before he held both your hands in the air.
His eyes would’ve been scanning the arena but they were focused on the blood smearing your skin instead. He nodded towards the tunnels and you lead the way, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand, and feeling the sting of an open wound.
“That was a hell of a match right there boys” taz exclaimed from commentary.
“That it was, taz, those two know how to bring the energy to an arena” tony chipped in.
“I’ll tell you what, I wasn’t too thrilled about the new attitude from Y/N at first, but she’s toughened up a lot since her and Hook teamed up.” Excalibur adds.
“He’s coldhearted and she’s following in his footsteps I guess” tony chuckled
“No, I’ll tell you this much. I’ve had many, many conversations with the coldhearted handsome devil and with Y/N myself and those two simply have like minds, like-personalities and like-spirits. We should’ve seen this one coming boys, it was bound to happen.”
As soon as the arena was behind you, you felt his hand on your shoulder, turning you to face him. His eyes were trained on the laceration but you quickly covered it with your hand.
“It’s fine” you tell him. You wanted to continue feeling the rush that the big win gave you, wondering why he didn’t seem excited at all.
“I don’t care about the cut, I’m too pumped up right now” you tell him as you head through the tunnel with a little pep in your step.
“It’s deep.” He says as he catches up. “I think you should go make sure you don’t need stitches”
“It’s just a cut, it’s fine Tyler.”
Accidentally once again, you said his real name. Once again, he felt a little taken back by it, but tried not to show it.
“It’s bleeding a lot.” He keeps on, like it hasn’t stopped at all.
You wiped the blood with the back of your hand and he grabbed your wrist to show you the crimson covering your skin. “That is a lot.”
“I’ve had worse, seriously. I’ll just go wash my face and hold a gauze to it for a couple minutes and it’ll stop.”
Before he could object again, Skye and Willow were both racing up to you. Their arms engulfed you and you felt the giddiness arising within you again. You glanced over at Tyler who was watching the whole group hug with an evident, proud looking smile.
“You are the baddest fucking bitch” Skye says when they unwrap their arms. “That shit was so good I would watch it a hundred times!”
You couldn’t contain the smile breaking out, and that’s when Willow asks, “Does your mouth hurt? That was a nasty fall.”
“Yeah but she got up and kept fighting cause she’s a bad fucking bitch” Skye grins.
“It’s fine, I don’t even feel it I’m too happy right now” you say as you glance back over to see that Tyler was no longer there. Your eyes adverted all around but he had disappeared elsewhere.
“C’mon, we’re gonna get you cleaned up.” Willow grabs your hand and pulls you along. “Oh, and we’re going out tonight to celebrate you.”
————
You stumbled through the hotel doors at one in the morning, wobbly on your feet with willow and Skye by your side. You’d went out to a bar on the north side of town and downed way too many drinks that you could actually remember but you were still on a high from your match that you didn’t even realize how drunk you actually were.
You were all three laughing amongst yourselves about nothing in particular when you caught sight of Taz coming out of the hotel gym.
He had an amused smirk on his face when he approached the three of you.
“Ladies, looks like you had a good time tonight.” He said as he eyed all three of you before focusing on you specifically.
“You took a nasty fall, Y/N, my son was just telling me about how you were too stubborn to get it checked out.” He chucked. That’s when your eyes lingered over to the gym doors.
“Yeah but it’s fine” you slurred. “I was so pumped I didn’t even feel a thing.”
“Be careful about that adrenaline rush, it can sneak up on you sometimes” he said.
“Okay. Is he in there?” You pointed to the gym, stumbling a little bit.
“Tyler? Yeah, he always does his workouts at this ungodly hour.”
When you heard that, that’s all your attention was focused on. You looked over and Skye and Willow who already knew what you were thinking, but they didn’t say anything except, “Well see you tomorrow girl”
Taz eyed you before a smirk came to his face and he shook his head with a low laugh. “Alright, I’m off to my room. Tell my son he needs to stop calling me down to the gym at anytime past midnight and call his tagteam partner from now on instead.”
You nodded, a smile willingly spreading across your lips before you headed towards the gym. You opened the door to find him sitting on the weight bench staring down at his phone, and right as you saw that, your phone buzzed in your pocket.
He looked up at you, brows knitted but with amusement in his eyes.
“That’s weird, I just texted you. Do you teleport now?” He asked, then cringed to himself. That was stupid, why did he say that?
You chuckle nonetheless as you stumbled in, thinking you weren’t noticeably drunk but it was way more obvious than you thought.
“Have fun?” He asked as he watched you head over to the bench across from his and sit down.
“I did” you grinned sheepishly. “It’s been such a good day, actually.”
He nodded back, eyes lingering to the laceration on your bottom lip that was already healing.
“I just ran into your dad” you tell him, swaying side to side.
“Did you?” He smirks, and you wished your vision wasn’t so blurry.
“Yeah, said to tell you stop calling him down here so late and call your tag team partner instead” you hiccuped.
He dropped his head. “Of course he did” he said as he shook it. You watched as he ran his hand through his hair and fluffed it out.
“Hey” you catch his attention.
“Hey” he says back.
“What’s coming next?” You asked the question that’s been running through your mind for a couple of days leading up to the match. “You know, we won tonight. The rivalry doesn’t really have anywhere else to go. So what does that mean for us? Are we done being partners now that we’ve beat them? I mean I know you still have the FTW title to win back, and I can be there ringside for it… if you wanted”
His eyes dropped to your fingers fidgeting over your lap.
“I don’t really know. What do you want to happen?” He asked, knowing already that he has thought about this same exact thing and the idea of the two of you no longer being a duo didn’t sit right with him, but he hadn’t mentioned anything to Tony and Tony hasn’t said anything else either.
“I want things to stay like they are” you admitted with another hiccup. “We have fun, don’t we?”
He had to keep in mind that you were drunk and now probably wasn’t the best time to take anything you said to heart, but it was hard for him not to.
“Yeah, we do.” He nods.
“So let’s call Tony and tell him we’re going to keep doing this heel run together” you pulled out your phone and read the text that was floating on your screen from Tyler earlier.
“can you come to the gym, i want to talk to you about something”
“Wait, what did want to talk about?” You asked. He shifted around and straightened his posture as he rubbed his palms over his sweats.
Before he texted you that, he was having a talk with his dad about you. It wasn’t often that Tyler came to him for advice on women but he didn’t really know who else he could trust.
He admitted that even though he tried to fight against it, he’d fallen pretty hard for you and it was starting to eat away at him. He didn’t have the impression that you would feel the same way, even though Taz completely disagreed with him on that.
He told his son that he would bet a million bucks that the feeling was mutual, claiming that a connection like the two of you have is undeniable and if he’s ever listened to anything taz told him, it needed to be that.
“You two remind me of myself and your mother when we were young” he recalls his dad saying. “We were too stubborn to admit we had feelings until we got drunk one night and it all spilled out”
“Tyler?” Your voice broke him out of his own thoughts. “What did you want to talk to me about?”
He never had to have a conversation like this before. He never really wanted anyone for more than just a fun night before. His adams apple bobbed as he swallowed thickly and tried to keep his nerves under control.
“I- uh-“ he rubbed the back of his neck as he inhaled deeply. Letting it all out in a quick huff.
“I been thinking a lot about me and you, and I don’t want to stop what we’ve been doing, but I do want to start doing more” he danced around the confession and you couldn’t quite piece it together.
“Like… how?” You asked, a little lost.
“I want to be with you.” He blurted, feeling his cheeks burn the minute the words flew from his mouth. His eyes scanned your face, studying it, searching for a reaction but you were blank faced and for once he couldn’t read you.
“You want to be with me? Like, be with me?” You were sure you weren’t hearing him right. Maybe everyone else thought you and Tyler were a thing but you never thought it was actually going to be an option.
“Yes, I do” he boldly stated, holding his eyes on you, watching as all the conversations you, Willow and Skye had over the last couple of weeks flashed through your mind and you couldn’t believe they were right the entire time.
“But if you don’t feel the same way, it’s okay, I’ll still do the heel run with you and we can forget I ever said anything.” He lowly muttered, waiting for what felt like an eternity for you to say anything back.
“Or if you’re already into someone else, like Ricky or something-“
“I’m not” you blurted out. “I’m not into anyone else.”
You couldn’t ignore the way your heart was beginning to race and your skin felt like it was engulfed in a million small fires. You stared back at him, your eyes lingering to his lips when his tongue slid over them.
A bunch of feelings you’d suppressed out of sheer denial suddenly came rushing in and it was now impossible to force them back again. All the tensions between the two of you, the anger and the confusion over the last few weeks was quickly diminished by an even stronger feeling of pure anticipation and desire.
The space between the two of you was too much and it was if Tyler had that same thought when he stood up from the weight bench and extended his hand. You took it, and he helped you to your feet.
You were unsure what to do with your hands when he let go but it became easy to find a place for them to rest on his waist when his finger curled beneath your chin, angling your head up, lips would’ve been brushing against each other if you were just a little taller.
His eyes were soft and a sprinkle of hazel appeared against the dark brown, and you realized you never noticed that before now.
He took in every inch of your face with a slow and meaningful gaze before an easy smile spread across his lips and a dimple soon followed.
You felt butterflies erupt in your stomach and spread through your whole body when he leaned in. You rose to you tip toes and your lips met gently, slowly, and tenderly. The way they fit like two pieces of a puzzle, moving in sync and pure harmony had your head spinning.
The taste of mint lingered on your tongue long after his lips were no longer on yours and you didn’t want it to vanish anytime soon.
He looked at you with eyes of adoration, his fingers slipping from your chin and pulling you into his chest. You buried your face into the fabric of his t-shirt, taking in the scent of cologne that you recognized from his hoodie you never gave back to him, and that’s when you remembered it.
“I still have your hoodie.” You chuckled, feeling his chest rise and fall with a low chuckle of his own.
“Keep it. It’s yours. It’s been yours since I gave it to you.”
———-
From that night in the hotel room gym on, you and Tyler were always together at the arena and outside of it. Your heel run was going strong. You were an undefeated tagteam that nobody wanted to step in the ring with.
After two weeks of keeping your love life on the low, he decided he wanted everyone to know. You were walking back from another successful match, standing on the stage when he grabbed your hand and spun you to him, placing a kiss to your lips that made the whole arena erupt in screams and chants of your conjoined names the fans came up with.
“Bet nobody saw that coming” Tony sarcastically remarked from commentary. “AEW’s modern day Bonnie and Clyde”
“Looks like you need to set an extra plate at the table when the holidays roll around, Taz.”
“I’ll gladly do that my friend.” Taz grinned as he watched you and hook exit through the tunnel.
“We’ve never seen the coldhearted handsome devil show any sort of emotion whatsoever… except with her!” Excalibur exclaims.
“Guess he’s not so coldhearted after all” Tony chips in.
“Oh no, he’s coldhearted son, but not towards her. Everyone else including myself gets the cold shoulder from my man, but she’s something special to him.”
Tyler walked you to the locker room and leaned against the wall. A soft smile stays on his face whenever the cameras aren’t around now.
“You looked gorgeous slamming Britt’s head into the canvas.” He taunts, earning a laugh from you.
“Thanks, I didn’t really try” you bantered back.
“Never have to.” He grins as he leans in and brushes his lips against yours before they fully connect.
“Everyone knows now” he says when you pull apart.
“They probably already did. We’ve been caught making out a lot” you remind him, earning that dimple you love so much to appear.
“True. I’m glad we don’t have to hide it anymore. I can officially call you mine.” He grins.
You place another gentle kiss to his lips before you whisper against them, “I’ve been yours this whole time”

I had to do a fluffy Hook holiday fic
Summary: The reader faces the gloom of a lonely Holiday weekend until Tyler invites her to spend the weekend with the Senerchia family.
With the holidays fast approaching on the weekend, the AEW roster enjoy their last show before their small vacation. You've just finished up a match against Skye Blue and are headed backstage to the locker rooms when you run into Tyler hanging around.
"Hey, Tyler." You wave at the stoic enigma that is Taz's heartthrob son.
"Hey, Y/N." Tyler waves back at you, pushing off the wall at the same time. "Nice win over Skye, by the way." He adds. "I see that training with my dad has been paying off."
You bounce on your feet with an eager smile. "It really has!" You agree. "I've been feeling so much more confident in the ring since Taz started giving me pointers. And training with you probably helped as well. Only a little though." You joke with a laugh.
"Well, my dad is the mastermind, not me, after all." Tyler jokes with you. "Anyway. What are you doing this weekend? Any plans for the holidays?" He casually asks.
"No, not really." You shrug. "My mom and stepdad are going to the Bahamas for a week. And I guess they assumed that I'd be busy. Because they didn't invite me." You explain, trying to hide the disappointment in your tone.
Tyler's eyebrows twitch in surprise at your answer. He can tell that you're faking a carefree smile, and he hates seeing you upset. "Damn, Y/N. That sucks." Tyler frowns.
"You're telling me." Your voice cracks as you fake another laugh. "Anyway. I totally need to grab a shower. So, I'll talk to you later, Ty." You quickly dismiss yourself before the urge to cry rears its ugly head.
Tyler silently watches you hurry past him toward the locker rooms. His jaw twitches in frustration that he didn't stop you. But an idea pops into his head and he takes off to find Taz before the show ends.
After some searching, Tyler finds his dad hanging out in catering before the Rampage taping starts.
"Tyler! What's going on, kid?" Taz greets his kid with a friendly smile.
"Hey, Dad." Tyler nods and sits down next to him. "I actually came by to run an idea by you." He explains.
Taz nods and sets down his phone. "Alright. What's up?" He asks Tyler.
"I was just talking to Y/N after her match with Skye about the holidays, right?" Tyler explains. "And apparently her mom ditched her for the holiday for a trip to the Bahamas. And you know that Y/N is an only child." He adds. "So I was wondering if you cared if I invited Y/N to come home with us for the weekend?"
A chuckle falls from Taz's lips at Tyler's request. He's been training you for around 6 months now. You and Tyler have slowly been building quite an interesting friendship.
"Of course, I don't mind!" Taz laughs. "I'm sure that your mom would love to have another kid around for the Holiday." He assures Tyler.
"Cool." Tyler nods. "I'm gonna go ask her right now. I'll text you later, Dad." He takes off with his answer to find you.
Back in the locker rooms you come out of the shower and begin packing up to leave. Your mind is occupied with thoughts about how you're going to spend your holiday weekend alone so it takes a moment to realize someone is knocking on the door.
"Crap!" You curse and hurry to the door when you finally hear the knocking. "Yeah? Oh! Hey, Tyler." You find Tyler standing on the other side of the door. "Come in." You step aside and let him in the locker room.
"Thanks, Y/N." Tyler smiles and steps inside the room.
You shut the door and turn back into the room. Tyler has made himself at home in a chair next to your bags. "So." You walk over to him. "What's up?" You ask casually.
"Yeah, so, I felt kind of bad that you have to spend the holidays alone," Tyler explains. "So I asked my dad if he was cool with you coming home with us. And he said that he'd love to have you. Only if you want though."
"Oh!" You reply with surprise. "That's really nice of you and Taz, Tyler." You admit sheepishly.
Tyler nods, realizing that he might be acting a little forward with you. "Sorry. Like I said, it's only if you want." He assures you.
"I know!" You nod. "Yeah, I'd love to come home with you guys if it's really no trouble." You agree to his offer.
"It's not. Trust me." Tyler chuckles. "My dad really likes you! Maybe even more than me." He jokes. "And my mom is bound to like you too." He adds.
You and Tyler fine-tune your travel plans and the next morning you are on the plane back to New York with Taz and Tyler.
Upon your arrival, Tyler shows you around the house and to the guest bedroom where you'll be staying for the weekend. "I'll let you get your stuff put away." Tyler leaves you at the door of the guest room. "My room is right across the hall." He points to the closed door directly across the hall. "So just let me know if you need anything."
You and Tyler are busy putting your stuff away upstairs so Taz takes some time to talk with his wife.
"She's awfully cute," Theresa comments on you, having only briefly seen Tyler drag you up the stairs upon arrival. "And Tyler seems to really like her." She adds.
"Oh, there is definitely something there, yes." Taz chuckles. "But don't tell Tyler that. Because he'll just deny it."
Taz and his wife both laugh and catch up for a bit. A while later you and Tyler come back down the stairs after having settled in a bit.
"You have a lovely home, Mrs. Sererchia." You compliment Tyler's mom with a friendly smile.
"Thank you, sweetie." Theresa smiles back at you. "I hope that you can enjoy yourself this weekend. And get some much-needed rest." She adds.
You match the woman's warm smile and nod. "I'm sure that I will. It's really cozy here." You admit.
Over the weekend Tyler introduced you to some of the Holiday traditions of the Senerchia family. You help decorate the tree and house, bake cookies, and see a parade. On Christmas Eve you play some games with the family and share drinks before Taz and his wife head to bed for the night.
You and Tyler stay up and watch a few movies while casually chatting about work and some other stuff.
"This was a really nice weekend, Tyler. Thank you for inviting me over." You thank Tyler from your spot snuggled up on the couch beside him.
"Yeah, this weekend was really nice." Tyler agrees with you. "What time is it?" He asks and glances at the clock on the wall.
You glance at the clock on the wall in the dimly lit room. "It's almost 2 am." You answer him. "Why?"
"So it's officially Christmas then?" Tyler replies.
"Yeah. Again, why?" You ask him again.
Tyler slips off the couch in almost a hurry before he turns to you. "I'll be right back. Stay here." He asks you.
You nod and watch Tyler hurry up the stairs. With him gone, you sit up on the couch and wonder where he's gone in such a hurry. A few seconds later you hear him fly down the stairs and rush back to your side with something in his hand.
"Here!" Tyler shoves a small wrapped present your way.
"You got me a gift?" You take the present from him gently. "Awe, Tyler. I didn't get you anything though."
Tyler shakes his head and gestures for you to open it. "It's fine!" He insists. "Just open it now so I don't have to listen to my mom bug me about it in the morning." He asks you.
"Okay." You nod and unwrap the paper to reveal a velvet box. Your heart skips a beat as you open the box and find a necklace inside that sparkles in the room's low light. "Oh my god, Tyler." You look back up at him watching you intently.
"Do you like it?" Tyler asks you. As if the look on your face isn't enough.
Flabbergasted by the expensive sparkling necklace in front of you, words seem impossible for a moment. "Ty, of course, I like it! It's beautiful!" You assure him once you've regained the ability to talk.
"Great! I knew you would!" Tyler beams. "Here, let me put it on you." He gently picks the chain up and moves to help fasten it around your neck.
Tyler secures the clasp into place and steps back. You look down at your chest and admire the way it sparkles against your skin. "Now I really feel bad that I didn't get you anything." You bite the inside of your lip sheepishly.
"You're here," Tyler replies and steps closer to you. "And that's kind of all I wanted for Christmas." He admits.
"Just me?" You answer him with an amused smile.
"Just you," Tyler confirms and leans in for a kiss.

●Hook x Tattoo Artist Reader●
Summary: Hook discovers your tattoo art on Instagram.
_________________________________________
*Tyler's POV*
Sitting in the locker room with Orange, Kris, Willow, Trent and Chuck, I am scrolling through Instagram when I come across this tattoo artist page that catches my eye. I click on the page and start scrolling through the pictures. Trent comes over and sits next to me looking at my phone.
"Woah dude. Who's art is that? That is amazing!"
"Oh its this chick named Y/N."
Willow and Kris gasp and run over to the couch next to me.
"Oh my gosh! Y/N is so talented!"
"Yeah she did my tattoos!"
"Mine too! You have to go to her!"
"And I think Tyler would really like her if you know what I mean."
Willow nudges my side and I roll my eyes. The girls have been trying to get me a girlfriend for a long time and it hasn't worked out. Kris pulls out her phone and starts typing on it.
"I have an idea!"
She starts calling someone on speakerphone. I look over at her confused.
"Hellooo lady!"
"Hi Y/N!"
My eyes go wide looking over at Kris. Willow laughs at me.
"Is my other bestie there too?"
"Hi Y/N!"
"Hi Willow!"
"Y/N, we were wondering if you possibly have an opening tonight or tomorrow for someone new?"
"Is it a man? Better not be like the last one you brought me."
"Yes it is a man. And no nothing like that last one."
They are start laughing and I shake my head no at Kris. Kris smiles at me than looks at her phone.
"So I actually had a cancellation tonight so why don't you bring this mystery man with you at 6?"
"It's a date! See you than!"
"Bye!"
She hangs up the phone than looks over at me.
"Looks like you got a tattoo appointment tonight. Better figure out what you are getting."
"Thanks Kris."
I roll my eyes and go back to looking through her drawings to see which one I am going to get now.
_________________________________________
*Y/N's POV*
I am currently sweeping up the floor in my tattoo shop when I hear the bells on the door jingle. I look up seeing Kris and Willow walk in with two men walking behind them.
"Kris! Willow!"
I set the broom down against the wall and walk over to them.
"Y/N! How are you?"
"I'm good! How are you two?"
"Good! Good!"
"Awesome!"
I look over at the two men that came in with them.
"Who are these two?"
"Hi I'm Trent!"
He hugs me wrapping his arms around my head and I hug him back wrapping my arms around his waist. He pulls away keeping his arm around my neck.
"You are short."
I roll my eyes and push his arm off me walking up to Tyler.
"Hi. I'm Y/N."
"I'm Tyler."
"Oh, you are the one I am tattooing. Did you figure out what you want?"
I walk back to my section in the shop and he follows behind me as everyone else sits in the waiting area. He pulls out his phone and shows me the eyes that I posted on Instagram.
"Oh... you... you want one of my drawings?"
"Your drawings are incredible. I looked through all your pictures on Instagram. There is a couple of them that I wanna get."
"Thank you. I will go print out the stencil for you. Be back."
I grab my phone and walk over to my machine printing out different sizes. Kris and Willow walk up to me with big grins on their faces. I shake my head looking at them.
"Soooo whatcha think?"
Kris whispers to me and I look down blushing a little.
"He is cute."
I mumble still looking down at the floor and they laugh a little at me.
"And he said he went through all my drawings on Instagram and wants to get more later on."
"Oh he likes you already than."
Willow nudges my arm and I smile looking at her. I grab the stencils and look at them.
"Time for me to tattoo ladies."
"Go get your man."
I laugh walking back over to Tyler. I put the stencils on my little table infront of him.
"What size would you like?"
He looks through the sizes and picks out the middle size one. I take it from him and look at him.
"Okay. Next question. Where do you want it?"
He takes his hoodie off and I gulp seeing him not wearing a shirt underneath.
"I want it about here."
He points to below his neck on his back. I prep the area he wants than put the stencil on. I pull off the paper revealing the stencil on his back. I take a picture of it than walk infront him showing him the picture.
"How's that?"
"Looks amazing. Let's do it."
I get all my supplies ready and start tattooing him as he sits there playing on his phone.
_________________________________________
Finishing up the tattoo, I start wiping it down and cleaning it up.
"Mind if I take a picture?"
"Go ahead."
I pull my phone out of my pocket and snap a picture. I walk infront of him and show him the picture.
"Wow! That's amazing! You did a great job! Thank you so much!"
"Of course!"
I giggle looking at him. He pulls money out of his pocket.
"How much do I owe you for it?"
"A date."
"What?"
"You owe me a date. With you."
He stares at me for a minute than smiles. I giggle at him and put my hand on his shoulder.
"It's a deal!"
He stands up, kisses my cheek than walks over to Trent and they leave. Kris and Willow come running over to me.
"What was that?"
"Details!"
"He asked me how much I owe him for the tattoo. And I said he owes me a date. With him."
"Ooooo yes girl!"
"I think you two will be really good for each other!"
God I hope so!

two of my fav pretty boys <3
Summary: The reader is in a storyline as the first female member of the BCC as well as Wheeler's on-screen girlfriend. Tyler is her ex and doesn't like the way Wheeler is around the reader.
"I'm allowed to see my friends Wheeler." You narrow your eyes at Yuta as the two of you walk through the loading docks. "Besides, we're only fake dating, remember?" You remind him.
"That doesn't mean I want anyone messing around with you during this storyline." Yuta replies. "It would look bad for the cameras. Besides, what's wrong with the BCC locker room?" He asks you.
You roll your eyes at Yuta. You've been engrossed in a storyline where you've been dating Wheeler and being initiated into the BCC as their first female member. In the few weeks that the storyline has been going on Wheeler has become quite protective and guarded with you.
"It's a locker room full of sweaty old men, Wheeler." You scoff. "It's nasty. Why can't I just hang out in the girls locker room until your match?" You whine.
"Come on, YN. It's only be for a little while." Wheeler assures you. "Plus we can't strategize if you aren't with me." He adds.
You huff out a breath and nod. "Fine." You sigh. "Just please don't linger in there forever like last time." You ask him.
"I won't. Promise." Wheeler insists and grabs your hand to drag you reluctantly along at his side.
You and Wheeler head down to the locker room of the BCC. When you arrive, Jon and Claudio are already there hanging out.
"Hey, guys." Wheeler greets everyone when he comes through the door.
"Yeah, hey guys." You add with a small wave.
Jon and Claudio both offer you a nod and a small smile. You sit down in an empty chair and pull out your phone while you wait for Wheeler. While you're waiting for Wheeler to get changed you get a text from your newly separated ex, Hook aka Tyler. The message is asking you to meet up with him before Wheeler's match.
"Hey, Wheeler, I'm gonna go say hello to Skye." You get up from your seat. "I'll be back in a few minutes."
Wheeler nods, too busy with digging through his bags to give you a more detailed answer. You head out of the locker room and make your way to an empty stairwell where you and Tyler used to often hang out. When you pull open the door, Tyler is sitting on the bottom step waiting for you.
"What do you want, Tyler?" You cross your arms as the door clicks shut behind you.
"I just wanted to talk." Tyler replies, his usual stoic expression on his face. He pats the spot on the step next to him wanting you to join him.
Reluctantly, you sigh and take a seat next to Tyler on the step. However, your arms remain crossed in front of you. "Make it quick, Tyler. I've got to be out in the ring with Wheeler soon." You explain.
"Wheeler." Tyler scoffs. "Of course." You notice his jaw clench a bit. "Why did you even take this dumb storyline in the first place?" He asks you.
"It's better than sitting around in catering." You reply sharply. "What is this really about, Tyler? You didn't make me come all the way down here just to complain did you?" You ask him.
Tyler wipes his hand over his face in frustration. "What if I did?" He asks you.
"You broke up with me, Tyler!" You remind him with a scoff. "So you've got no right to be asking me anything about Wheeler, or what I'm up to." You scold him.
Frustrated with Tyler, you get to your feet and go to storm off. Tyler reaches out and grabs your hand to stop you. His grip is strong enough to force him to his feet as you walk to the door.
"Let me go, Tyler." You turn back to his and try to pull your arm away.
"No!" Tyler keeps his grip on you. "Not until I know that you're alright." He adds.
You stop pulling and look at Tyler. "What? Tyler, I'm fine." You insist. "Why the hell wouldn't I be?" You ask him.
"I don't like Yuta. Never have." Tyler replies. "And I especially don't like him always hovering over you like some fucking guard dog." He grits his teeth.
"We're playing a couple, Tyler." You roll your eyes and manage to pull your hand free this time. "That's what couples do! That's what you used to do!" You remind him. "God, what is wrong with you? You broke up with me, Ty!"
Tyler hangs his head and solemnly nods. "I know." He replies quietly. "It was a mistake."
"A mistake?" You scoff. "I'm leaving, Tyler. Don't follow me." You turn sharply on your heel and swing the door open harshly.
Tyler remains in place as you stomp back to the BCC locker room. Wheeler is ready for his match when you arrive but he notices right away that you seem pissed off.
"YN? What's up? You look pissed." Wheeler walks over to you.
"I'm fine." You reply dryly.
Wheeler nods and the two of you head out to the ring for his match. Wheeler does his usual entrance and you hang at his side playing the mischievous doting girlfriend. The two of you make it to the ring and you kiss Wheelers cheek before he heads inside the ring.
Wheelers opponent for the night comes down to the ring and you take your place in Wheeler's corner on the floor. The bell rings and Wheeler gets to work. You hang out and watch Wheeler take down his opponent. You cheer for Yuta and belittle his opponent to distract him. Wheeler ends up pulling a win by using the ring ropes as leverage when the referee isn't looking. The bell rings again and you cheer for Yuta as you hop into the ring to celebrate with him.
"Better look next time, loser." You step over Wheeler's fallen opponent with a laugh. "Yuta! Nice work, baby!" You giggle and attach yourself to Wheeler's side to show off for the crowd.
You and Wheeler flourish a bit for the audience, acting like a happy couple. The two of you are to busy messing around to notice Wheeler's opponent pick himself off the mat and rush Wheeler with little regard for you.
"Crap! YN, look out!" Wheeler spots his attacker right before he's on you and gives you a shove away from him.
You stumble backwards and trip over your own feet. Your clumsiness gets the better of you and you slip right through the middle rope and tumble to the floor. Wheeler quickly dispatches his attacker and slides down to the floor to check on you. But as he's making his way out of the ring he spots Tyler come barreling down the ramp as well.
"YN! Are you alright!" Tyler reaches your side just as Wheeler makes it to the floor at your feet.
"Tyler?" You stare up at him. "What are you doing out here?" You confront him.
Wheeler kneels down and grabs your arm to help you to your feet. You lean on him and stand up straight with Tyler hovering as close as possible.
"I saw you fall." Tyler explains. "I just wanted to make sure that you're alright."
"That's what I'm here for." Wheeler replies in a snarky tone. "YN, you're alright, right?" He turns to check on you. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to shove you that hard. But I wanted to make sure that you were out of the way." He explains.
You nod and pat Wheeler's arm. "Yeah, I'm fine. I've had way worse bumps than that, Yuta." You assure him. "Tyler, you can't just come out here like this!" You turn back to Tyler standing silently next to you. "We're not together anymore! Enough!" You reminds him yet again.
"What? We broke up so I'm not allowed to be concerned for your safety?" Tyler protests. "I still care about you, YN. Which is more than I can say about this tool." He sneers at Wheeler.
"Excuse me?" Wheeler snaps back at him. "I care about, YN! Why don't you screw off, pretty boy!" He puffs his chest out at Tyler.
You step between the pair before a fight breaks out. "That's enough!" You shout at them both. "Come on Wheeler, let's go." You turn to him and grab his arm. "Tyler. I appreciate that you wanted to make sure that I'm alright. But enough is enough. You broke up with me. So do like you wanted and stay away."
Tyler nods at you with a soft expression and steps back to give you space.
"Yeah, you heard her. Back off." Wheeler adds with a sneer.
"You'd better shut your mouth." Tyler mumbles to himself but remains in place because you asked him to back off.
You and Wheeler head up the ramp and Wheeler throws an arm around you to tease Tyler. You roll your eyes but know that there's nothing you can do about it. Boys will be boys. And right now they're competing to see who's the better man.

More HOOK/Yuta content because their feud was just so good <3
Summary: Tyler continues to struggle with the fact that the reader is in a romantic storyline with Wheeler Yuta. Not able to stand seeing her with someone that doesn't deserve her, Tyler can't help but intervene. Even if it means the reader will hate him for it.
You watch from Wheeler's corner as he kicks Dante Martin's ass in the ring with a smile on his face. Wheeler rolls Dante up near the ropes and you grab his leg to help keep Dante in the pin. The bell rings and you let Wheeler's leg go with a laugh.
Dante realizes what you did and starts arguing with the referee about it. Wheeler offers his hand and helps you up onto the apron before you both step through the ropes and glare at Dante.
"I think all that time out on injury got to your head, Dante." Wheeler growls at Dante. "YN didn't do anything." He throws a protective arm around your waist.
"Yeah, Dante. Don't be a sore loser." You sneer at him, feeling a little bit bad at your harsh words.
Once upon a time, Dante was a good friend of yours. He and his older brother Darius where always hanging around with you and Tyler while traveling for shows. And now you're calling him a liar to his face and letting Wheeler berate him.
"Whatever." Dante scoffs and heads backstage.
You and Wheeler both laugh as Dante walks off and Wheeler leans in for a kiss. "A little extra show for the crowd?" He teases you as he leans in.
"I guess." You shrug with a small smile and meet his lips for a chaste kiss.
You and Wheeler head backstage after a few more minutes of gloating to the crowd. You mean to head back to the locker room with Wheeler so he can shower and change before taking you back to the hotel. But on your way back, you run into Tyler.
"YN, hey." Tyler offers you a hint of a friendly smile.
"Hey, Ty." You nod back at him in a friendly manner.
Wheeler's arm slinks over your shoulder in response to Tyler's prompt. You roll your eyes and put a hand on Wheeler's torso in case he tries something with Tyler.
"Wheeler. Play nice." You chastise Yuta casually.
"I'm nice." Wheeler replies in an insistent tone. "Tyler." He flashes a fake smile.
Tyler and Wheeler lock eyes and you can feel the anger radiating off both of them. To prevent a fight, you turn to Yuta and put an arm around the back of his neck. "Come on, Wheeler! I'm tired from my match with Aminata and then cheering for you. Let's get back to the locker room already." You whine to him.
"Yeah, alright, babe." Wheeler glances down at your pleading doe eyes. He leans down and kisses your cheek before he starts to walk off.
"Bye, Tyler." You offer Ty a small wave as you walk off.
Tyler watches you and Wheeler walk off with a clenched jaw. "Fuck him." He grumbles to himself once you're out of earshot.
You and Wheeler make it back to the locker room and you sit down with an annoyed sigh. Wheeler begins unlacing his boots across from you and notices your frown.
"What's wrong?" Yuta asks you.
"Nothing." You cross your arms with an annoyed sneer.
Wheeler huffs through his nose and shakes his head. "Come on, YN. Something is bothering you." He persists.
"Did you have to be such a dick to Tyler?" You uncross your arms and glare at Yuta.
"This again?" Yuta groans. "He broke up with you, YN." He reminds you. "Do you remember how broken up you were about it? So what gives him the right to come up and try and act all friendly and shit?"
You bow your head, knowing that Wheeler is right. Tyler did break up with you. He was the one to end it. Not you. Breaking up with Tyler was the last thing that you wanted. But he insisted that it be over.
"Yeah, I guess you're right." You look back up at Wheeler. "Sorry. It's just...You know I don't like seeing you fight with him." You remind him.
Wheeler nods and walks over to you now that he's out of his boots. "I know. But keeping him at bay is for the best, YN. Trust me." He leans down and kisses the top of your head gently.
Wheeler slips into the other room to rinse off in the shower and you hang out on your phone while you wait for him. While you're hanging out Wheeler's phone chimes with a message from someone. Curious, you walk over to his phone and pick it up. You unlock Yuta's phone and pull up his messages. A new message from Mox is highlighted so you pull it up.
"I saw you run into Taz's kid again backstage?" You read the text aloud. "You know you're going to have to tell her what you did eventually, Wheeler?"
Your heart skips a beat as you read the message. And with trembling hands you scroll up on the screen. You scroll through some uninteresting messages about working out and other stuff until you eventually find what you're looking for. Right there on Wheeler phone is a conversation between him and Mox about convincing Tony Khan to put you and Wheeler in a romantic storyline so Wheeler could make a move on you.
"What the fuck?" You whisper to yourself in disbelief.
Your heart sinks in your chest and you can feel tears brimming your eyes. Wheeler comes out of the bathroom and see's you holding his phone in your hand. "YN?" Wheeler calls out to you and you lock eyes with him.
"So it was all a lie?" You stare at Wheeler with blurry vision. "Mox? Bryan? Claudio? They never really saw anything in me did they? It was all you? Because what? Because you wanted an easy way to get into my pants?" You scream and toss Wheeler's phone at him.
"What? YN, what are you talking about?" Wheeler barely manages to catch his phone.
You watch Wheeler manage to save his phone and advance on you. "Fuck you Wheeler! Stay away from me!" You point an accusing finger at him before turning sharply on your heels and head for the door.
Upset and feeling like you're about to cry, or throw up, you head to the only other place you feel safe backstage. Tyler's locker room.
You get to the door of Tyler's room and knock through blurry vision. A few seconds later Tyler answers the door. "YN? Why the fuck are you crying? What's wrong?" His voice is laces with concern as he pulls you into his locker room by the arm.
"Wheeler, he-he-h-he-" You stutter, unable to stop your tears from falling.
"He what?!" Tyler replies wildly. "Did he hurt you?"
You shake your head as Tyler ushers you into a chair so you don't get lightheaded from standing while crying. He rubs your back gently and waits patiently for you to tell him more.
"He lied to me, Tyler. Manipulated me into thinking that Mox and Claudio and the rest of them thought I was good enough to be one of them." You finally manage to explain the situation through sniffles and sobs. "All because he was into me."
"He WHAT?" Tyler grits his teeth.
Tyler shoots to his feet and begins pacing the room while thinking up every way he knows how to break bones. His pacing and thoughts of seriously beating Wheeler's ass stops though, when you speak up again.
"Why'd you have to break up with me, Tyler?" You ask in a half-sob. "Did you get tired of me? Do you hate me?"
Every ounce of Tyler's anger fades and he walks back over to you. He sits down next to you and pulls you into him. "I could never hate you, YN." He insists. "Not you. I love you. Which is exactly why I did it. When I found out the BCC was looking at you for their new member I knew you wouldn't take it if you and I were still together. And all I want to do is see you thrive in this company." He explains.
"Oh, Tyler." You sniffle against his chest. "Please don't leave me again." You plead with him.
"Never, baby." Tyler insists, holding you tighter against him. "You stay here, alright? I'm going to go get your stuff from Wheeler's locker room." He peels you off of him and stands up.
You grab Tyler's hand as he stands up and look up at him. "Please don't do anything to him, Tyler. I don't want you to get suspended and leave me alone here at work." You ask him.
"Don't worry, baby." Tyler strokes your cheek gently with his thumb. "Wheeler's going to get his ass beat." He insists. "But it'll be in front of of crowd where everyone can see what a piece of shit he is. Fuck him."

Personal Photographer
Synopsis: he wants to vividly remember what you look like when you’re coming undone for him
18+ it’s nothing but smut and tooth aching sweet shit cause I couldn’t help myself lmao
Warnings: unprotected sex, creampie, pet names, dirty talk, picture taking in the act (if that’s even a warning idk)
A/N:This is one of the ones you all collectively pitched concepts and ideas on and I just ran with it! Enjoy babes! Keep an eye out for your requests over the next few days and lmk if you wanna be tagged! 🫶🏼
Tyler always took pictures for you when you couldn’t be with him. Everywhere he went, he made sure he brought that camera and snapped some shots of places or things you would’ve loved to see. It was also a good way for him to remember where to take you when he gets some time off. At this point, he has certain places he wants you to see all across the country.
“You’ll love this place.” He shows you the picture of a beach he checked out. “The water was so clear and blue. I know you don’t wanna get in unless you can see what’s around you, so we’ll have to go there one day too.”
You smiled as you raked your fingers through his hair, and he mindlessly rubbed your legs that were stretched out across his lap. You leaned your head against his shoulder and placed a single kiss to it.
“Missed you so much.” You whispered against his skin. He glanced down at you, cheeks a tad bit rosier than usual before he pulled you into his lap and wrapped his arms around your waist. He pushed some hair off of your shoulder and placed a series of hot, wet kisses down the side of your neck before he set the camera down and picked you up, taking you to the bedroom.
“I’ll show you the rest later. We have lost time to make up for right now.”
He’d only been gone for five days but it felt like eternity for both of you. He really wanted to take things slow tonight, but there was a neediness taking over that he couldn’t control. As much as he wanted to make slow, sweet love, the look of you laying underneath him wearing nothing but his t-shirt and panties was simply driving him wild.
He hovered over you letting his eyes roam. “You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever laid my eyes on. You know that?”
The shade of your cheeks deepened and he smirked at how shy you still got when he complimented you. It was his goal to make sure you always knew how beautiful you are to him, and make sure you wholeheartedly believed it, too.
He leaned down and placed a tender kiss to your lips, letting them linger for a moment. He felt your hands roam his back, nails gently digging into his skin, and a sly smirk formed on his lips when he picked up on your own neediness for him. As always, it was mutual.
The tips of your noses brushed before your lips connected again, this time far more intense and fueled by the desperation for each other. One of his hands cupped your jaw while the other one roamed down to the hem of your (his) shirt, sliding up your thigh until he found a drenched spot on your panties.
You felt him smile against you and let a little chuckle slip. He already knew the affect he had on you but it was always appreciated when he could physically feel it without even trying.
Your breath hitched in your throat when he used his middle finger to push your panties aside. A sudden series of needy moans and short gasps were lost within his mouth when he started gliding the pad of that same finger up and down and collecting all those sweet juices just to use them as lubrication for when he does this.
Another smirk effortlessly plays on his lips when your nails dig into his back. He pushed his finger between your walls, up to the last knuckle and curled it against your g-spot slowly. He pulled back to watch you, one of his absolute favorite things to do.
His eyes intently studied your reactions as pride swelled within him. Just one finger and you were a moaning mess beneath him. He liked to play around with the rhythm to find what you liked best and by now he’s got the sequence down like second nature.
Three pumps against your sweet spot slowly, then five quicker, rougher ones. You spread your thighs as far as they’d go but involuntarily shut them around his hips when he started rubbing circles on your clit with the pad of his thumb. His mouth slightly fell open as he watched you, brows furrowed in concentration as he made a mental record to give you as many orgasms as you possibly wanted tonight.
“Fuck you’re so hot like this” his voice was filled with an edgy rasp that had your head spinning. “I can feel you tightening around me, you’re already so close you can probably taste it, can’t you baby?”
All you could do was nod eagerly as your mouth fell open and strained gasps and broken whimpers flew threw the air. You started squirming around, hips bucking to match the pumps of his finger and he felt the sudden warmth against his skin, and the way your walls throbbed around him.
“Oh fuck, Tyler I-“
“Mhm, record time” he muttered before he dipped down and latched his lips to your neck, sucking your skin roughly to add to the sensations of it all. “I can feel it babygirl” he muttered against you, “can feel you coming around my finger, fuck I can’t wait until it’s my cock your coming on”
Within seconds you were hit with a high that nearly blinded you. Tyler knew exactly how to ride you through it, and he made sure you were trembling until the very last second. He pulled back again to look at you, sliding his finger out and bringing it to your lips, tracing the wetness across your bottom one before he watched you open your mouth to invite it in.
You could’ve swore you saw that man internally lose it when your lips cupped around his finger and sucked your own juices clean off with a smirk. Within a split second he pulled that finger out and replaced it with his lips. A teeth clashing, tongue fighting type of kiss that sucked the air right out of your lungs.
Your panties were swiftly pulled all the way down to your ankles and you kicked them onto the floor while he raised your shirt up to your neck and leaned up on his knees, quickly sliding his sweats down to his thighs, along with his boxers and grabbing his hard shaft in his hand.
Your eyes fell to it, widening slightly. You’d seen it a trillion and one times but for some reason it always surprised you when it stood proudly. You were always certain you couldn’t take all of him but somehow you did.
The corner of his lips lifted at your reaction before he wrapped a hand underneath your thigh and pulled you down from the pillows you were propped up on. He tapped the tip against your clit three times, then eyed you as he slipped between your walls, but couldn’t help but let his own eyes roll when he felt you squeezing around him.
“Fuck.” He muttered underneath his breath, tipping his head back for a moment. He looked back down at you and the way your brows were knitted tightly together, a general response to his size that he always adored seeing.
He brought his hand up to cup your jaw, swiping his thumb over your bottom lip as he pushed all the way in, and when your mouth fell open, his thumb took the invitation in. You sucked on it, eyes on him doing your best not to close them. His lips parted and a look of pure euphoria washed over his face, but as soon as it was there, it vanished.
You could practically see the gears turning in his mind. An idea forms and he can’t believe he hadn’t thought of it before.
“Hold up, let me grab something real quick.” He pulls out of you and slides off the bed, leaving the room for a moment to return with his camera in hand and a boyish grin on his face.
You glanced down at it and then back up at him questionably.
“Will you let me do this? I promise nobody will ever see these. I would have to kill them if they did.”
He made his way back between your thighs and waited for your answer. There wasn’t a lot of uncertainty around it. You were just a little self conscious and he knew that, but this was a part of wanting you to realize how stunning you are.
“Okay.” You whispered, watching as his eyes lit up. He set the camera next to him and pushed back in, a little rougher this time. He was now on a mission to pull more reactions from you. He wanted to capture every single thing you did in these moments. Everything he made you feel.
He hiked your leg up, your ankle resting on his shoulder as he pulled out, almost fully, just to slam back into you with a force that had the headboard hitting the wall.
Once he picked up the pace and had you consistently moaning and whimpering beneath him, he grabbed the camera, never once slowing down as he held it up and snapped the pictures he was going to be looking at a lot when he was away from you.
“You’re so fucking hot right now gorgeous” he praises as he captures your blissed face, coupled with your shirt riding up to your neck and your breasts on full display for him. He took his hand and cupped one of them, snapping a picture of that.
Any sense of insecurity that you originally had was washed away in that moment. He was admiring your body while he simultaneously fucked into you. Some of the pictures were probably going to be blurry as he picked up the pace but those were going to be memorable anyway.
He angled the camera down to where his cock disappeared between your walls and gripped your hip with one hand, taking a picture of that too. Two, to be exact.
“You are a fucking masterpiece.”
You moaned to his praises and reached up for him. He placed the camera down and leaned down, holding your ankle against his shoulder as he rocked into you. You were an absolute mess of whines and moans and shortly you were going to be screaming his name and he knew it.
That’s exactly what he was aiming for.
He put all his focus into making you come harder than you ever have. He wanted to see everything he could possibly do to you. He wanted to make this something you wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about next time he has to leave.
“You’re taking me so well, baby.” He praises. He reaches over and finds your hand, intertwining your fingers and pinning it over your head. His forehead presses against yours and he looks down between your sweaty bodies and watches his length disappear into you.
“That tight little pussy is squeezing my cock like your life depends on it.” He grits his teeth as he pulls his hips back and crashes back into you, earning a squeal to echo through the room. A sound he knows he hasn’t yet heard from you, and one he wishes he could hear forever.
“Like that?” He breathlessly starts to pant. All you can do his nod and hum a response. Any words you have ever learned in your life are long forgotten.
He picked up on your body language and switched the pace, pulling out to snap back in, hitting your sweet spot just right every single time.
His hand gave yours a squeeze when he felt your walls clench down around him and he knew then and there that you were on the edge of an all consuming orgasm and he wanted to make absolute certain that it was going to leave you in shambles.
“Look at me” he demanded as he pulled back and hovered above you. You felt his grip around your hand loosen and his fingers slip away before he cupped your jaw instead. “You wanna come?” He quirked a brow, watching as you nodded needily.
“Need to hear you say it. What do you want?” His hips snapped in and you swore you could feel it in your stomach.
“Yes! Fuck yes tyler!” You shouted, your voice strained and rasped.
“Yes what?” His tone grew deep and thick as he continued rocking into you, sending your mind far off from your own body.
“I want to come!” You cried out. “I’m so close, I need it! I need to come so fucking bad!”
“What’s stopping you?” A condescending edge lingered. “Need me to fuck you harder?” and before you could even respond, he dropped your leg off of his shoulder and rose up to his knees, wrapping his hands under your thighs and hiking them up to his waist to hit at an even deeper angle.
His thrusts sped up and his cock drove even deeper, hitting a spot you didn’t even know you had that caused tears to prick the corners of your eyes. You tried to look up at him but he was a blur and when you squeezed your eyes shut all you saw was a white, blinding light.
“That’s my girl. Taking all of me so fucking well.” He watched your chest rise and fall rapidly and your breasts bouncing from the impact and he knew it wasn’t going to be long for him either.
“Oh God!” You cried out. Your stomach was churning as a warmth spread rapidly through your veins and Tyler could see that you were seconds away from coming completely and utterly undone.
He quickly grabbed the camera and held it up, thrusts still strong as he tried with all his might to fight his own release. The moment he felt that warm sensation engulf him, your walls throbbing around him, he snapped a photo, probably his favorite one, for that matter.
You pressed your head hard against the pillows, back arching high off of mattress as he kept fucking into you, praising you as he helped you ride out that high.
“That’s it baby, thats what you needed.” He felt it himself, and he was able to give into it now. “Im about to fill you up, I want you dripping for me when you get up in the morning. Then ima fuck it all back into you.”
His thrusts got stronger yet sloppier. You felt his fingertips digging into the skin of your thighs as he watched you, still consumed by your own orgasm.
“Ima make sure you stay filled up with me when I’m home. Not gonna be a time my come isn’t dripping down these thighs.” He bends down and gives your inner thigh a series of kisses and a few bites in between, only adding to the euphoria you were succumbed in.
“And when im gone, you’re gonna remember this. Remember me fucking you how you deserve to be. ‘Cause I’ll be back to do it all over again.”
You could hardly comprehend him due to the ringing of your ears but you peered your eyes open and managed to catch his head tipping back, jaw clenched tight as he crashed into you three more times.
His hips stuttered then stilled, chest glistening with sweat and low groans buzzed through his throat as he did exactly what he said he was going to do.
It was then that you grabbed his camera, quickly sneaking a pic of him in that exact moment. His cock twitched and you felt the warmth fill you to the brim, watching as his chest heaved heavily and beads of sweat slid down from his collar bone to his torso.
He looked back down at you, clearly fucked out himself. His hair was sticking to his skin and lips parted and swollen, cheeks slightly rosy too.
He noticed the camera in your hands and pieced it all together through the brain fog.
“You’re a fucking masterpiece.” You whispered breathlessly, the corners of his mouth lightly twitched upwards. “I want that picture. Wanna remember that when you’re gone.”
He pulled out of you slowly and collapsed on top of you, holding his own weight with his elbows as he cradled your face. He placed two gentle kisses to your cheek before he pulled back with a dimpled grin.
“I won’t let you forget.”

I’m in the mood of protective hook 😭like he is so hot when he is mad😭
So true. I wrote a little something for you. I hope you like it!
Part Two
Synopsis: you’re exes but he still makes it a point to look out for you
Warnings: cursing, heavy angst, alcohol use, jealous!hook, violence, like one sexual comment, depictions of blood (not explicit)
Girl’s night was unfortunately cut short due to an excessive amount of tequila shots and people getting a little too close for comfort. This has been happening a lot lately. Since you and Tyler broke up, more specifically.
Skye and Willow did their best to get you out of the bar and back to the hotel but you refused. There was a guy two barstools down making eyes at you all night and the alcohol surging through your veins was doing a decent job at making him look at least a little bit attractive, but your girls knew better than to let you throw yourself at a stranger, especially when it’s an attempt to heal your broken heart.
Skye excused herself to the bathroom but it was only to make a phone call. It was a last resort but at this point she couldn’t figure out what else she and Willow could do. You were too intoxicated to comprehend anything except for how to call out another shot to the bartender and they knew it was time to get you home, and the only person who could probably get you out of that bar was the reason why you were in it in the first place.
You were feeling good. You didn’t know how many shots you’d downed or what song was playing but you were somehow managing to sing along anyway. Willow was right next to you sipping on her drink, and Skye was coming back from the bathroom when you held your hand up and asked the bartender for another shot.
“Can I have one more shot? Please Mr. Bartender man?” You slurred, smiling from ear to ear. Willow chuckled next to you, and it was then that you heard a deep voice from down the counter.
“Put it on my tab.” The handsome stranger said, sending you a wink. Willow and skye had looks of disgust written on their face but you ignored it and slid out of your barstool, stumbling on your feet. Skye grabbed your arm but you yanked out of her grasp and shot her a look.
“Y/N, don’t talk to that guy. He’s been weird all night long. Seriously.” She whispered, eyes trained on the stranger a few stools down who was shamelessly eyeing you like a piece of meat.
“Skye, you’re literally so annoying, I’m fine!” You were louder than you meant to be but she didn’t take it personal. It was obvious that you didn’t realize how intoxicated you were and if you did, then you wouldn’t be trying to talk to the creepiest dude in the bar and Willow and skye knew that.
“How about we go to the bathroom first? You haven’t peed in an hour. C’mon.” Willow grabs your wrist and leads you across the bar. You didn’t object, too busy trying not to fall flat on your face as you stumbled across the floor.
Skye stayed behind, eyeing the entrance doors.
You glanced in the mirror at your reflection and couldn’t help but laugh at yourself. Mascara was smeared underneath your eyes as if you’d been crying all night and your hair was sprawled every which way, tangling a little.
“What’s so funny?” Willow asked as she ran her fingers through the small knotted ends. You let your hands run underneath the cold water and wiped underneath your eyes, but only smeared the mascara even more.
“I’m not as cute as I thought.” You hiccuped. “I used to be so cute. What happened?”
“You’re gorgeous. What are you talking about? Look at you.” Willow places her hands on your shoulders and squares you with your reflection, but all you saw was a sad, broken girl staring back at you.
“I hate Tyler.” You blurted. This happened a lot when you got drunk. No matter what, you always ended up talking about him. You could try with all your might but it was inevitable.
“I don’t think you hate him.” Willow reasoned. “You’re hurt right now, but you don’t hate him.”
“He hates me.” You looked down at your chipped fingernail polish and heard Willow stifle a laugh next to you.
It was funny to her, simply because you and Tyler both had these strange feelings. The break up was bad but the aftermath has been horrible for you both and everyone around you. He can’t stop dwelling and neither can you and whoever the two of you get drunk with has to sit and listen to how much you both claim to hate one another when everyone knows it’s the exact opposite.
“He does not hate you, Y/N. That man still loves you to death.”
You felt your cheeks burn beneath your skin but you chalked it up to the alcohol. After a moment you and willow left the bathroom and headed back to the counter where Skye was sitting.
“I ordered you a water.” Skye tells you as you take a seat. “But you still have this shot you haven’t took yet. I think it should be your last one.”
Your eyes rolled as soon as she said that. For some reason, anytime you went out with her, Skye always felt the need to act like she was your mom. She always cut you off after you’ve had enough, in her opinion, as if you’re not a grown ass woman who can make her own decisions.
“I’ll stop when I’m ready to stop.” You glared at her before you quickly downed the shot on the counter and slammed the glass down. “Mr. Bartender, one more please.”
“No, she doesn’t need it.” Skye cuts in.
“Who the fuck are you to tell me I don’t need it?!” Your voice was louder than the music playing through the speakers, earning eyes of everyone around.
“Y/N, you’re so drunk right now you can’t even look me straight in the eyes.” Skye whispered, in an attempt to lower your own voice. “We seriously need to call it a night before you black out on the floor.”
“I’m fine!” You slurred. “And where the fuck is my drink!”
“Please don’t bring her anything else except water.” Skye called over to the bartender. “You’re cut off.”
“Fuck you!” You spat, quite literally.
Suddenly the stranger from earlier was standing next to you and Skye, holding a shot glass out. “Let the pretty girl drink.” He grinned at Skye.
“She’s clearly drunk off her fucking ass right now you sick motherfucker!” Skye snatched the shot glass from the man and slammed it down on the counter.
“You clearly dont know how to have a good time.” The man stepped closer to you, suddenly throwing his arm around your shoulders and offering his drink instead.
“I do.” You heard an extra voice. One that you recognized immediately. One that made your knees suddenly feel so weak and your heart abruptly begin to pound in your chest.
You snapped your head to the left and saw Tyler standing there, fists clenched and glaring at the stranger with his arm around you.
“Yeah?” He chuckled, removing his arm so he could turn and face Tyler. “Who the hell are you?”
You looked at Skye and Willow. They immediately got you off the barstool and down a couple seats in case things got violent. You couldn’t take your eyes off tyler, unsure if you were imagining things or if he was really standing there.
“Doesn’t matter who. You’re not taking her home so you might as well leave her alone.” Tyler took a small step foward and the stranger took one too.
“I’ll take home whoever the fuck I want to.”
“Oh no.” Skye whispered.
“This is about to get ugly.” Willow added as she wrapped her arm around your shoulders and guided you back a little more.
“Not that one.” Tyler nodded his head in your direction.
“Yo, who the fuck even are you bro? Her boyfriend? She was looking pretty fucking hard at me all night. Didn’t see you around nowhere.”
“Don’t worry ‘bout it dude, just know you ain’t taking her out this bar. The best thing you can do right now is go sit your punk ass down and forget she even exists.” Tyler poked the guy’s chest with his finger and you felt your stomach twisting into knots.
“Doesn’t seem like that’s what she wants.” A cocky smirk plays on his face and he turns his head in your direction. “The way you were looking at me earlier, licking your pretty little lips.-“ the man called out to you, making you feel bile arise in your throat, especially when he faced Tyler again. “Didn’t seem like she was thinking about nothing but my cock shoved down her-“
“Oh shit!” Skye shouts when the man hits the floor. Tyler jumped on top of him, his fists flying, clashing with his jaw, his eye sockets, his forehead, anything visible. He was seeing red, the only sounds he was focusing on was that of the man’s teeth cracking against Tyler’s knuckles.
“Tyler! Fuck!” You shouted, suddenly somehow almost completely sobered up and sick to your stomach. You wanted to intervene but there was no use in that. Willow and Skye pulled you back when you tried to step in.
It was the bartender and two other men almost twice Tyler’s size who were able to detach him from the man’s limp body. His arms were restrained but he was trying to break the hold. He had a thirst for blood and you’d never seen that in him before.
Tyler spat on the man’s face, his saliva intermingled with the blood slipping down his chin from the numerous broken teeth that lied in fragments on the floor.
Tyler was practically thrown out and the only reason he wasn’t tossed into the back of a cop car was because the bartender actually liked the way he defended you. And he also thought Willow was really pretty but that was beside the point.
When you approached Tyler he looked completely infuriated. There were traces of blood on his fists and sweat beads slipping down his temple. He was attempting to catch his breath as he paced the sidewalk.
“Tyler-“ you reached out to touch his arm but he snatched away.
“Don’t!” He nearly growled. “Just let me take you back to the hotel and don’t say a fucking word to me.”
“What?” Your voice was ten times smaller and weaker than his. “But I-“
“What?! What could you possibly say right now, Y/N?! You’re so fucking drunk you can’t even stand up straight. Come on, we’re leaving.”
He started walking down the sidewalk but he stopped in his tracks when he realized you weren’t alongside him. He held his hands out to his sides. “Y/N, come on. We’re going back to the hotel. You’re done.”
“I’ll just go with Skye and Willow.” You muttered, feeling as though you could break down and burst into tears right then and there.
“Skye and Willow don’t want to fucking deal with you right now. Why do you think I’m here?!” He spat, taking large strides until he was only mere inches from you. His chest was heaving and nostrils flaring, eyes dark as the night.
“Tyler I’m-“
“I don’t want to hear it.” He holds up his hand. “It’s four in the morning. It’s time to go to bed. If you want to explain or what the hell ever you can do it tomorrow, sober.”
He grabbed your wrist but you didn’t budge. The frustration was soaring high within him and you could see it.
“Y/N,-“ he sighed in an attempt to compose himself.
“I’ll go by myself. You’re being such a dick right now Tyler, I don’t wanna go anywhere with you!” You snatched your hand away and his eyes narrowed.
“A dick?! I’m being a dick?! Y/N, are you fucking serious?! I just laid a mother fucker out for trying to take advantage of you!”
You were silenced by that, lips pulling in beneath your teeth. Tyler’s eyes were filled with rage but they softened slightly after a few seconds of tense silence. He sighed again and ran his hand through his hair, holding the roots for a second before he ran that same hand down his face.
“Alright” he muttered, his voice lowered. “Look, if we stand out here yelling like this we’re going to get arrested. Let’s just go back to the hotel, get you in bed and we’ll talk tomorrow. If you feel like we need to.”
You felt his hand grab yours again, but gentler this time. You accepted it and let him lead you down the dimly lit sidewalk. You didn’t know that Willow and Skye were already on their way back to the hotel themselves. Tyler told Skye on the phone that he would take you back and a few other things that he probably wouldn’t want repeated until he tells you himself.
Once you got to your room, you plopped down on the bed and stared down at your shoes. Tyler turned the lamp on and went ahead and fixed you a glass of water. He also brought the trash can over and set it next to the bed, in case you were going to get sick and couldn’t make it to the bathroom in time.
The room was eerily quiet and you hated it. The weird tension and the awkward energy. Tyler tried to avoid it but it was weighing on him too.
You watched as he set the glass of water on the nightstand. “Thank you.” You whispered, glancing up at his face. His hood covered most of it, along with his long hair but you watched him nod once. “Thank you for what you did tonight. I don’t know why you did it, but thank you.”
There was another moment of silence but Tyler broke it when he simply said, “Don’t thank me.”
You kept your eyes on him as he headed towards the door, but just before he left you heard him say, “I told you a long time ago that I’d never let anything happen to you. Remember that?”
He glanced over his shoulder, you nodding slowly.
“I meant it.”
