tyana is one of kevan lannister's daughters. she grew up idolizing jaime for his knighthood and wanted desperately to be just like him. however, it was not what was expected of a lady. she was married off to some reach lord as a means of alliance while young but he fell ill and died some years later. before his death, he often encouraged her to delve into her interests and arranged to have her squire under a reach knight.

while there was no romantic love between the two of them, tyana did love him until his death and defied her father afterwards by becoming a lady knight.
