1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

He is just like me fr when it comes to the creating process. I can't relate to artists like Albedo and whatnot who does things so neatly— there's more of a "you get me" factor watching Mr. Reca go nuts and crazy excited when making films. That's how I've always felt when I'm writing or drawing. I usually do a gremlin laugh when writing tragedies lmao. I just relate to him on several aspects (not all), like having a lil amphibian as an assistant. One of my old goals was to make a children's storybook with a lil grumpy old frog main character. Seeing the assistant director reminded me a lot about that ^^!!!!!!

9. Could you be roommates with this character?

Absolutely. We'd be a mess for sure, but it's a fun mess. I'd probably always turn around and go "hey bestie, I need to brainstorm some ideas" and we'd both start cooking. I'd imagine we'd have a bulletin board for storyboarding, a plant we take turns caring and watering (or else assistant director will croak loudly), and a questionable amount of colored pencils for when we talk about how a scene composition is supposed to be. I think we'd be hilarious roommates and we'd probably nudge at each other laughing when we come up of a particularly painful scene.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

That a bunch of people he's close to is just absolutely used to his behavior and when he's about to film a sad scene from a nonfiction movie, his hired help would go "oh no, Mr Reca is going to pull a tearjerker" and he's just laughing at their reactions as he directs. Reca also feels like the sort of creator who quietly rants about how one of his films is clearly better than the other but somehow the latter is the most popular one despite being something he puts less effort on. I know he's a memetic entity, but invite him to the dreamjolt hostelry, get plastered (if that's possible for him), and you'd probably hear him rant about it.

oh and big headcanon is that mr reca loves kero keroppim he would have some of his notes in sanrio stationary in an irl modern au. sorry, i do not make the rules /silly
