Jasmine: Does your OC like flowers? Which type of flower is their favorite?

She does!! She even likes to learn about flowers' different cultural significance and symbolisms. Naturally her favorite flowers are amaryllis, matching with her surname and which is also why they sprout from her blood when she's done fighting (her favorite color variety of amaryllis is "elvas", which are white with red accents). She also likes hydrangeas because she thinks the petals look like tiny butterflies.

Lemon Balm: Does your OC have any bedtime habits or rituals?

I honestly need to think more about this but I do think that Yuna would have some sort of ritual that involves setting up a protective charm around the ship so that the crew can sleep peacefully. One idea is that she does this by performing a certain dance as a form of prayer, though it's more out of habit and putting her mind at ease than actual belief in its effectiveness. Afterwards, she would read something to wind down and help her drift off to sleep. She'll also have a warm cup of spiced milk & honey drink.

Ultimately, he had to go home. He always, always had to go home, because where the hell else would he go?

It had been three days since he'd left for work and not returned. Two days since he'd managed - barely, after getting caught a second time by a fake Lieutenant Ross - to get to a phone he knew was safe and tell Roy everything before promptly dropping off the face of the Earth.

And finally, finally he'd lost the bastards chasing him. He trusted Roy and his team to handle everything from here - he was no flame alchemist or sharpshooter or comms expert and he certainly didn't trust his own subordinates like Roy seemed to trust his - so that he could get home and get help.

Hospitals weren't an option, because they'd definitely ask his name. That was another good thing about going home: Gracia was almost a nurse in her own right. He'd done what he could on his own from where he'd been hiding, which consisted of gritting his teeth and packing fabric into his shoulder before tying his jacket around it and just saying "fuck it" about the small wounds.

They weren't really causing massive blood loss like the one he'd tended to. By the time his shoulder slowed to a stop, though, he was lightheaded, which unfortunately delayed his travels. Hopefully Gracia wouldn't be too upset with him. Three days was an awfully long time for her to be alone taking care of everything by herself.

By the time he reached their front door, it was just before sunrise Thursday morning (he'd last been home on Monday). He fumbled with the keys to the door, hoping Elicia was asleep. A three year old should not be seeing another human in the state Maes was in right now: sleep deprived, injured, and halfway out of breath.

He got himself inside, found his wife asleep on the couch, and breathed a sigh of relief. He was home safe, and soon enough he could sleep too.

Maes sat next to the couch, nudged Gracia like always when she stayed up waiting for him, and was instantly met with her clinging to him. "Don't leave me alone again," she said.

Fair enough. He wrapped his good arm around her, grateful at the extremely dim lighting for not allowing her to be startled at what he was positive was a terrible appearance. It didn't take away the guilt for leaving her or the emotional stab that was hearing her voice be so upset like that.

"I'm sorry," he replied. "I'm so sorry, sweetheart. I didn't want to."

English Breakfast: What is your OC’s morning routine?

A typical morning would be:

Wake up (sometime between 7:15 to 7:30 AM)

Have some herbal tea that she prepared the night before

Summon Argo (otherwise he'll get cranky)

Stretch & yoga (sometimes Nami & Robin will join)

Breakfast (then help Sanji with the dishes)

Combat training with Zoro

Oolong: How does your OC decorate their space?

Whether she shares a bedroom with Nami (and eventually Vivi or Robin) or she has her own room (which I imagine would be more likely in live action version), I can imagine Yuna's space having a boho-chic style. It'd have a cozy, warm atmosphere, smells faintly like a Lush store, and have wall hanging decorations like dried flowers & tapestries. If there's any spare room, I imagine that's where Yuna has a nice decorated space for meditation and stretches.

Ginger: What always brightens your OC’s day?

I'm partly being serious though. Pre-timeskip Yuna starts off as someone wracked with guilt and trauma so after joining the Straw Hats, she spends the first few weeks being overly anxious, thinking that she doesn't belong there nor does she contribute anything useful to the crew. So Yuna tries to keep herself busy by helping out others with any tasks or chores (including volunteering to take over others' night watch shifts) but it's to the point where she overworks herself and the others worry about her. Of course Sanji becomes most concerned for her so he basically makes it his mission to cheer her up and make her smile every day, serving her favorite foods/snacks/beverages, gifting her flowers, and joining her during night watch just so that he can convince her to sleep. Eventually the others help in reassuring her that she is a wanted member of the crew and a valued friend but it will always be Sanji who starts off her days in a positive note, with just even a simple smile and greeting during breakfast.

Earl Grey and Jasmine for Yuna?

Earl Grey: Does your OC like to read? What is their taste in books?

Reading was one of Yuna's preferred pastimes as a kid, mainly because she lacked the confidence and social skills to really spend time with other members of the theater troupe. It was her way of learning about the world and how people interact. When no one was around, she would practice reading out loud to Argo and over time, this helped her get over her selective mutism. As an adult, she spends less time reading although will do so regularly before going to bed.

Her favorite books to read are on mythologies, folklore, and fairy tales, partly because the theater troupe's performances would be based on them, and from this, she developed a liking towards fantasy and romance novels.
