this probably goes for all fandoms ig but i feel like jjk fandom is very impatient. i understand criticizing gege for his writing but i feel like a lot of those things could be solved if they just waited for the story to be told, yk?

because he was raised in a temple, there are a lot of Normal Things he's completely unfamiliar with or has very unusual ideas about. this is definitely one of them !

I don't think he would even know what a tattoo IS until his twenties. it would probably be seen as an "impurity" by his family, and I think that viewpoint would be passed on to him as well. if he DID get one, it would probably just be the symbol of Eldath, the goddess his family worships.
