What do you think of that recent post about how the answer that Kevin wouldn’t give Neil when he asked him what else did he have to lose was Jean?

I really really want to believe that Jean was always on Kevin’s mind during the trilogy and that he was worried but all I can think about is Nora saying that she was surprised that fans had interpreted Kevin breaking down as a result of worry for Jean. I’m convinced Kevin was 100% avoiding thinking about Jean with all his being. He really only ever did anything for Jean when Neil and Renee prompted him to.

I remember seeing that post about that scene (that I cannot find for the life of me rn) from Nora and the implication that Kevin’s first thought was not Jean.

in my mind it’s obvious that Kevin’s first thought was concern for Riko not Jean. some part of Kevin is clinging onto his and Riko’s original codependent friendship from way back when. I’m sure he associates his worst experiences of both Riko and his abuse with Jean.
