This appears to be either a genuine article or based on Marianne Brandt’s Tast-Licht for Ruppelwerk Metallwarenfabrik (metalworks) in Gotha, Germany. Brandt was the head of design of their household goods department after leaving the Bauhaus in 1929.

As far as I can tell, she designed a variety of lamps for them, some of them differing only in the tiniest details, but this guy greatly resembles them.
