For Defense Tests: Always consider Healers for your team. It is always better to heal on 1st magic of Turn 3 or 5. If you use Continuous Heal, heal on Turn 1 or 2 but watch out for Curse.

the dates of all the upcoming unbirthday parties + plus a nit-picky checklist and particular rules that might apply that week to help out the heartsabyul students who don’t wanna deal with “having their head off”

constant updates of the week’s spell drive tournaments and games , + scoreboard for the season, as well as additional info about scouts and recruiters coming to visit said games to encourage the student athletes to reach out and do their best in hopes of their sports career, even a leader board + and mvps so far

monstro lounge’s weekly specialties and deals as well as hiring info incase students want to earn some extra money on campus, and how to contact azul if you’re from another dorm

reminders of important dates on the lunar calendar for both werebeastmen and scarabia students + the newest imports from foreign lands in sam’s shop that might make their dorm feel more like home

news about the newest fashion trends and movies + plus a gossip column that has features on particular students. it’s worded in a riddle, and all names are anonymous so the student body spends awhile trying to figure out who it’s about

new game releases, paired with student options on difficulty and enjoyment. students handles will be tagged allowing for their streams to reach a larger audience + showcases of student art

history on NRC and spooky stories that will be fun to theorize about. legends of trapped souls on campus ground and interviews from alumni and what they think of it or if they were witness to the history

you can also find info about clubs and their recruitment and how to join, when the housewardens will have another meeting with eachother so you can voice your ideas to them in hopes it will be brought up, dates for large student study sessions and after school help, dates for “leaked” pop quizzes or even large tests that you might’ve forgotten were gonna be later that week. tickets and shows to student performances even dumb quizzes to pass the time. you can find all staff emails and how to even duel your house warden to take their spot. but for some reason that tab doesn’t have a lot of viewers.

this digital publication keeps the student body of NRC well informed and is popularly visited, only gaining more traction as the school year goes on. so ofc students have been trying to figure out who’s been behind it.

all the crisp photos of the spell drive players, the leaked dates of tests, the gossip, sam’s stock. how’s one person able to get the news before anyone else is? no way azul would sign a contract with them, plus even azul doesn’t have access to all this info. if only he had some sneaky eels who love to be as slippery as they are in the water, above ground. or a few ghost friends able to go through walls and overhear things they probably shouldn’t. maybe sam IS in on it, wanting to spread awareness about his goods so he makes profit. even a cat small enough to sneak around when bribed with enough tuna could help out. plus a killer camera from the headmaster. maybe crowley knows what’s going on but is letting things play out. so far it hasn’t gone too far. plus. who would suspect the prefect from another dimension? they have a hard enough time as is. no way they’d be able to keep up.

Small Information If You Don’t Know Them:

Edmond Pierre (3rd year), Rene Pierre (1st year), and Cedric Etoile (2nd year) are Twisted Wonderland OCs based of Disney’s 1950s Cinderella. Edmond Pierre is based off of Drizella, Rene Pierre is based off of Anastasia, and Cedric Etoile is based of off Cinderella.

Information About Them Currently:

In NRC, Edmond and Rene are both sorted into Pomefiore’s dormitory, meaning that they’re literally togther often but that doesn’t mean they get along. They are always seen either bickering or messing with eachother since well.. They are brothers.

Their arguements can get quite loud and annoying with leads Vil to shut them up and punishing them. Sometimes Vil has to keep an eye on them so they won’t get too rowdy over petty topics like which color the fabric is (although none of them knows anything about fabrics because it’s just Edmond wanting to impress Vil and Rene is there to sabotage him.)

Although it may seem like they’re always together, they also interact with other students:

Rene often talks to Epel since they are in the same grade and in the same dorm. They share some similar interests like going against things about them like how Epel dislikes being pictured as a weak and meek dude when he actually can stand his ground, and Rene hates the expectations of his mother and being restricted.

Edmond and Rene both find Rook strange. However, Edmond admires Rook’s ability to make such poetic statements about others or about anything.

Edmond and Rene respect Vil a lot since he is the dormleader of Pomefiore. Also he’s the one who stops their petty fighting and puts them in the time-out corner.

Octavinelle is dead.

Edmond is in the same club as Riddle and finds him a promising underclassman. But Riddle thinks Edmond is a bit… like Ace and Deuce. Edmond doesn’t know that so he’s living in his delusion (lol.)

Edmond, during school, loves to act like he is proper and above people like he’s a prince. He also doesn’t like getting his hands dirty in fights so he avoids them. Basically, he thinks he’s a pretty princess who cannot be harmed. So far, he hasn’t totally beaten up. Just a little roughed up. From the tweels.

Rene, on the other hand, depends. I mean, he doesn’t like people bothering him but if a physical or magical fight can get him out of NRC, he’ll do his best. But usually, Rene is a good student. He doesn’t really bother people unless it’s his brother.

Academics for Edmond is hard. He’s pretty good in P.E. but he struggles with studying for academic tests. He’s grades are pretty low as Rene is doing well, but he’s only doing well if him getting out of NRC doesn’t work out.

SInce there isn’t much about RSA, Cedric’s school life may be short.

Cedric’s grades are average. He’s not perfect but he is passing since his test scores are impressive. He seems to do better in tests rather than other assignments. It may be because he works better with pressure, or he managed to study most of the subjects the night before the tests.

During school, Cedric is a good student, always helping out and assisting others whenever he can which is why some of his assignments get low grades. He also works out often now so picking up heavy things are easier for him.

He oftens hangs around Neige and they’re good friends. (Other interactions may come soon.)

Information About Their Past:

Back in their childhood and they were mostly raised by the Pierre brothers’ mother (Cedric’s stepmother), Cedric did all the chores and was left mostly alone. He was treated horribly by his step-mother and he was forced to be homeschooled and hidden away from others outside of the family.

Before all of this, Cedric used to live with his father but then his father died due to a heart attack right after he got remarried. Since Cedric’s mother died during birth, his stepmother was the only adult to take him in as his mother figure. She had also taken in his father’s popular boutique business in the City of Flowers, inheriting all of the money. Soon, she was consuming and thriving in the rich life as she hid Cedric from everybody.

Despite his step-mother being cruel, his step-brothers weren’t so. They still played with Cedric even when their mother told them not to or pulled them away. She tried to isolate Cedric as much as she could.

Because of that, Edmond as accepted it as Rene thought it was stupid. (But they still interacted with Cedric because THEY’RE BASICALLY BROTHERS.)

Cedric’s scar happened because of an accident.

After Cedric’s stepmother forced everything onto Cedric, Edmond felt upset that Cedric was doing more than him when he was the oldest. So he tried to cook all by himself but Cedric said it was too dangerous for him since he was inexperienced. Edmond was cutting some vegetables angrily until Cedric tried to pull the knife away from his hands and caused a tug of war.

With a slip of a hand, Edmond accidentally made a deep cut into Cedric’s cheek.

Edmond felt so guilty and helped Cedric clean up the blood and patched it up for him. Til this day, he looks at the scar with slight guilt.

I'm not sure what kind of info should be cool lol, but I decided to take the opportunity and tell you how I came up with his name!

first of all, his last name is Euchre. this is something like a variation of the Joker (but to be more precise, the Joker card was created for playing Euchre or something like that.) I just didn't want the Joker to be a trivial choice!..

I also decided it bc there is a card game in which, if you have a joker card left, it is considered that you have lost (this game is called Old Maid or something, I've often seen it played in manga and anime. a test of luck!)

THIS SMOOTHLY PASSES TO HIS NAME ALEVTIN

"old maid" can be called differently in different countries and, as I remember, I saw an interesting variant of "akulin". I became curious about this name and found information about a name that is almost similar to this name, "alevtina/alevtin"

so I decided to choose Alevtin and shorten it to Alev for convenience! this is how Alevtin Euchre turned out

What would your OCs think of each other if they met? I remember seeing how they'd interact with Tia, if I recall correctly, but I don't know if this was already asked.

I don’t think this was specifically asked before, so I’m just gonna yap under cut because. I’m probably not going to say anything too interesting.

(No drawings, sorry. Just rambling. So only the most die-hard of die hard are probably willing to peep this.)

It’s hard to say.

On the one hand they were all made in their own bubbles, so the thought of them interacting with each other has hardly come up.

Then, on the other hand, in-universe, they’re all in different grade levels and that itself doesn’t help either when it comes to paths crossing.

But if TWST can come up increasingly asinine and inorganic reasons as why to exact same 21 guys + Prefect/Grim keep getting roped together but not any of the other 800 students, I don’t see why I can’t think of semi normal reasons for 3 guys to cross paths.

EMILO 🦜

- More likely to encounter Cecil since 1st years and 2nd years have joint classes sometimes. He would probably never hear about Cecil otherwise unless Kalim yapped or invited him to a Scarabia party since Kalim and Cecil are classmates.

- Emilio would find Cecil to be a bit… squirrely. And also hate his attitude cuz Cecil is kind of sardonic.

- They are two sides of the same coin, though. If Emilio got over himself for half a second they’d probably be stupid friends.

- As a 1st year student, Emilio is extremely unlikely to cross paths with Nyoka at all. However, he likely knows who he is since the Wadjet’s are supposed to be an important noble family.

- And of course, Emilio ALSO being from a noble family should be privy to knowing who every prominent family in Twisted Wonderland is (this is just something he does)

- He would immediately start kissing ass like he normally does with heirs so he has something to brag about back home.

- He would find Nyoka to be dignified! But uh, a bit erm… well… cold. The aura is overwhelming.

CECIL🌿

- Cecil shares a class with Kalim, so if Kalim yapped enough I’m sure Emilio’s name would pop up at some point. If not through Kalim, through Sebek because Emilio and Sebek are classmates, and Cecil tends to be a fly on the wall in Diasomnia. He would hear of him first before ever meeting him. (Two polar opposite takes)

- Cecil would find Emilio annoying and pretentious. He would hate Emilio’s uppity attitude.

- If Cecil stopped being a hermit maybe they could be friends.

- Cecil is only slightly more likely to encounter Nyoka if only because Cecil frequents the library for his own reasons- and that’s Nyoka’s stomping grounds.

- Cecil would be absolutely mortified of Nyoka, BUT!!! Nyoka seems… okay? But he is not willing to possibly upset him and get bit so he treads carefully.

NYOKA🫖

- Nyoka spends far too much time being out of the way. He’s not privy to much interaction from anybody unless asked to by his Housewarden or a staff member. Otherwise he will just go through the motions and keep to himself.

- He is not likely to hear about Emilio or Cecil in any capacity since neither are all that significant. He shares a class with the dang Housewarden of Diasomnia, but that guy is in his own world.

- He would find Emilio to be a try-hard and suss out pretty quickly that the boy is trying to overcompensate for something.

- If Emilio starts sucking up to him, Nyoka will test to see how far he’s willing to go to, not unlike what Jamil already does to Emilio. …Except, worse. Not that it matters.

- Nyoka would find Cecil to be yet another skittish mouse. That said, ultimately harmless.

- At most, Nyoka can appreciate Cecil’s interest in lesser discussed magical artifacts/history. So, if assistance is needed in locating or identifying something, he is willing to do so.

- But that’s it.

- Scaring him is fun, low key.

New twst oc ! Yumeship with Deuce Spade

Based off of the tiger lily from Alice in wonderland, will make a more detailed version of her character sheet.

Kelsie's always had a mind beyond her years. Awards upon awards, she had no time for admiration, yet she still dwelled on it– as many teenage girls do.

See, there was this… boy who had caught her eye, and it hadn't been doing her any good.

She was failing tests, not coming home for curfews, and getting suspended for Seven knows what.

Kelsie'd even changed her whole demeanor around her friends, abandoning some.

Why? She thought she'd be able to catch his eye– but by the time she could, he was nothing like who she'd fallen for.

TLDR: Honor student becomes delinquent to charm her object of affection who is a delinquent.

Also her hair is the result of a bad bleach job. Her hair is black.

So sorry feel free to delete this but omfg yes 😭 im actually so sick of ppl going "but but vil's lab vignette!!!!" when vil himself and trey (arguably some of the ppl closest to rook in nrc) have pointed out how rook just says things based on what he feels, he doesn't imagine it'll hurt someone and he doesn't mean for it to hurt someone, he's just used to expressing himself (a big reason why i say he's autistic coded cough) and vil has said it constantly how he trusts rook more than any mirror, how he appreciates their friendship because rook isn't afraid to be honest with him and treats him like a normal human being and like AAAAAAAA can people PLEASE stop ignoring they're good friends it's genuinely so frustrating seeing ppl talk about them as if rook and vil knew eachother for only like a three days 💀

THIS 1000% !!! Like just cause Vil and Rook are friends doesn’t mean they can’t disagree on things?? They’re allowed to have communication issues?? No friendships will ever have smooth sailing the whole way, that’s just not realistic. Vil and Trey have known Rook for three years and picked up on his quirks- Vil knows he can judge without bias and Trey can read that Rook doesn’t like disclosing personal information. Characters can have conflicts without them being completly bad/problematic.

Vil’s lab vignette is a whole litmus test fr 😭😭 I think the phenomenon with extreme Rook hate from some TWST fans in general is because they have an oppositional reading of Rook so strong, where they don’t like his actions (mainly stalking/acquiring personal info) to the point of disliking him regardless of his character/motives/if he means well. (See: Reception Theory)

This also reminded me of this one time some fans thought Rook was a “toxic friend” for “gaslighting” Vil during the vignette and WHAT 💀💀💀 Oof I’d go on and on to defend our mans but I think that’s enough from the both of us. You cooked <3

1. Atlas AKA the child that's a ghost (TW: Talk of death due to me talking abt how Atlas died)

the first sibling oc who I created one night by bc I thought it was a good idea, and not only is he Riddle's younger brother but he's dead and is a ghost that follows around Riddle.

he was born a year after Riddle

their mom viewed as not worth her time as he wasn't as good as Riddle and was often ignored and neglected

he's meat trey and che'nya

he has a white rabbit plushie from Riddle and it's most treasured item

Atlas can choose when he's visible and most of the time he's not visible

Unfortunately cant touch other ppl cause classic they'll phase right through you or whatever logic

How he died: so basically with help from others (thanks to those ppl I probably wouldn't have chosen how died if not for u) it was decided that one night a robber broke into the house to steal stuff and Atlas happened to be attempting to sneak food from the kitchen at that time the robber and Atlas happen to cross paths and the robber not wanting any witnesses (idk if this shit realistic but whatever no one cares) decided to stab Atlas in the chest and leave him bleeding on the floor

now a great thought someone else in the twst discord server I'm in had and I'm going be sharing is that Atlas' death would have reinforced Riddle view of that rules should be followed or else there's going to be bad consequence since Atlas was breaking the rules when his murder happened

on to some less grim stuff I think that at some point (I was thinking after the che'nya encounter) Yuu, Grim, Ace, and Deuce meet Atlas and Atlas brings up how ppl are mad at his brother or how his brother is attacking like their mother and the four are like who tf is ur brother and are then hit with bomb that is finding out that the housewarden has a younger brother who is dead and is ghost who's been following him around

honestly was thinking about having Riddle not notice Atlas' presence until during or after his overblot

don't judge for the name I just found it online I thought it was good so I used anyway he's Jamil's older brother

alright info :

he usually works with Kalim's younger siblings

he didn't really like when Jamil had to start doing the poison testing for Kalim's food

the adults are testing his patience

he doesn't like how Kalim got into NRC and he's feelings about Kalim are complected

Amir works his hardest to make it possible for Jamil and Najma to have opportunities he didn't have

I have an idea that I'm not sure about using and that is that he has magic and was accepted into a arcane academy but for some reason doesn't go maybe it involved Kalim's parents and/or his own

4. Anubis

he's the older brother of Sebek though Sebek's conical older brother and older sister still exist cause I wanted them to and I didn't want to make an oc who technically already exists

I dont have much lore for him other than he's a year older than Sebek and he's also in diasomnia and he teases Sebek (like a good older brother) also I named him after an Egyptian god because Sebek is one letter off from Sobek

i use any pronouns and i'm aroace irl, but i still like fictional characters LOL. my mbti is intp, and my "big three" zodiacs are pisces sun, aries moon, and sagittarius rising.

personality: for how i'd describe myself, i'd definitely say i try my best to be optimistic about things. whenever i ask people if my personality is the sun or the moon, they usually say i'm the sun LOL. i've been told that i have a relaxing voice and that i have a comforting presence. from my perspective, i'm decently quiet and shy and i get pretty nervous talking to new people irl, but once the conversation gets going, i can talk to anyone just fine. i tend to be agreeable, and i think i'm pretty easy to talk to. my friends say i'm a sweet person , but that i also seem to get lost in my thoughts a lot or daydream often. i've also been told by many people that i'm pretty funny, and my humor tends to rely on a mix of my vocabulary and the latest trends. i'm playful and silly by nature, often teasing my friends and goofing around, but i'm also capable of providing genuine advice and comfort to people if they need me to. i like a lot of playful banter in my life. i've also been told that i'm trustworthy and reliable whenever i work with other people. additionally, i'm more detail-oriented, mainly because i like to go in-depth and consider things with logic if i can. but, at the same time, i can be a bit impatient and impulsive if i really want something, but not so much that i do anything too reckless, if that makes sense LOL.

likes: psychology (so much so that i want to pursue a career in it), astrology, history, playing video games (mainly roblox, cookie run kingdom, the persona series, and twst), sweet stuff and candy, watching the sunrise, sleeping / taking naps, cats, listening to music

hobbies: i spend a lot of my free time on my phone and in my room. i don't go to new places often, but i love to play games with my friends and chat on the phone. occasionally, i'll try out a new makeup look that i find online since i'm somewhat into beauty stuff. i usually spend a couple hours a day on tiktok (my attention span is cooked 🙁), but lately i've been trying to get back into drawing or painting!! i want to utilize a bit more of my creativity instead of just sitting around all day LOL. additionally, i'm a bit of a clean freak, so if a room in my house is getting a bit dusty, i'll dedicate a few hours to cleaning it up and reorganizing.

Pre-relationship:

I totally understand what you mean though, I had so much trouble trying to understand the game mechanics as a beginner 😭😭

I researched a bit and added a few of my own tips for beginners, hope this helps! 🩷✨

Some tips I can share for beginners would be:

Send and accept friend requests: When going into battle you're able to use their cards. Some of those friends could have some really useful cards to use. I've had many instances where a card from a friend that I needed really helped.

Do not skip events: Many events can give you valuable resources and materials. These events may not give SSR Rank cards but they will give you an R Rank or SR Rank card if you participate in them. They give gems, thaumark and keys and other useful materials.

Save your gems: The game is playable in f2p and gives a normal amount of gems to do so, but do save your gems and don't waste them unless you really want or need a card. When it comes to Sam's shop there is a set that comes with 10 magical keys and is only 250 gems though it's only available once a month. By buying this set, it does save you a few gems. A normal 10 pull is 309 gems.

Team: When it comes to forming your team I recommend teaming them up based on the cards Duo Magic and Buddy Level. Train the cards that you would like, level them up and team them up based on Duo Magic/Buddy Level. The Characters give each other important boosts during battles based on their buddy level and could be a great help.

Lesson's: History lessons grant EXP that contributes to the cards level. The additional rewards are "Blooming Honey". Flight lessons grant EXP that contributes to the cards vignette level. The additional rewards are "Snacks". Alchemy lessons help increase the Buddy Level of cards, additional rewards are "Alchemy Tokens" and spell upgrades.

Card Ranks: Three different types of Rank cards. A R Rank card has a max level of 40 that can be extended to 60. A SR Rank card has a max level of 60 that can be extended to 80. A SSR Rank card has a max level of 80 that can be extended to 100.

When TWST allows you to pick a card to start the game, these are some beginner cards lots of people and I recommend (their info in there as well):

Riddle Dorm uniform – Highest ATK.

Leona Dorm Uniform – Highest HP.

Trey Dorm Uniform – High DEF and great healing.

Cater Ceremonial – His power boost is very good during the early game.

Rook Labwear – Decent HP and attack which helps beginners.

Malleus Ceremonial Robes – Gives power boost.

Card's: I recommend leveling and upgrading your cards one at a time. You want to upgrade all the cards or at least a few cards in each element. By doing this you can have a pretty big upper hand when doing battles because elementary bonuses play a pretty role in the game.

Tests: You should do these and try them as much as you do with the lessons. Unfortunately for me, I didn't know how much of a help doing these would have and didn't do them. Doing tests can give you interesting and good things when you get good results. They also help train your cards faster.

I like to believe they’re generally the same as the dorm leaders actually. Unlike regular Monster!Twst who have the 7 wonders as the biggest wanted bounty in the monster hunter field, as well as their pesky magic capabilities, the seven in Reverse Monster!Twst, are basically regular people who are just highly capable at their jobs. The same thing goes for everyone else, they don’t have the super abilities their monster counterparts have, so they’re regular people as well. I can give a general consensus on how all of them meet readers though!

Pairings: Fellow, Skully, Neige, Chenya, Heartslaybul, Savanclaw, Octavinelle, Pomefiore, Diasmonia x Reader

First however, We should go over the others, as some of them aren’t officially apart of the Monster Hunters. Also, there is 100% spelling errors in here, so sorry!! Reversed

These men are supposed to be Monster hunters… So why… Why do they act more fiendish than a Monster like you?!?

Fellow - A con artist on sages quarter who regularly scams people on the streets. Karma catches up to him when he finds you hiding in the shadows, attempting to sell you a fake artifact, only for him to catch a closer look at you, and realize you’re the monster the Hunter organization has been looking for. He should run, but the closer he looks at you… You’d be quite the attraction… Many people would pay to see the all-famed beast in a cage! Synopsis: To which Fellow pathetically attempts to catch you, realizing as time goes on, maybe there’s more to you than just money… Leading to his obsession.

Skully - The information logger of the organization. He doesn’t hunt any monsters down but collects info brought back to make records. He's been obsessed with knowing more about you, as your existence is shrouded in mystery. Imagine his surprise when he’s working late at night, only to look up and realize his (few) pictures of you are missing! His long limbs stumble over to search, he trips when the feeling of a monstrous trait lies on the ground. He’s prepared to run out when he stops and finally realizes who’s sitting there. You look down at him, your eyes following his every movement. Well now… Now that he knows it's you and not some random, how could he ever let those other Hunters defile you?! Synopsis: Skully finds the love (or monster) of his dreams in his decrepited study room! Now all he must do is hide you away from everyone else… But how is he supposed to do that when you won’t even answer what you’re doing there?

Neige - A support Hunter, who rather than do the hunting, acts as medical backup on the field. There’s not much to complain about when it comes to him, unlike the other factions. People like the 7 Highers and their upper ranks are looked upon with admiration for their skill, but in the same breath spat at due to their more than disagreeable personalities. Not Neige though, he’s the only sweet person in the field. This is why his co-workers are in shock when they succumb to their wounds, watching Neige tend to the monster who has practically sent them to their graves. Neige looks back with a sad smile, but when he turns it shifts to a smile with great joy. Synopsis: The only healer in the work field, realizes he recognizes you, perhaps from a dream, or maybe another world. But all he remembers is how much he strived to find you again in this reality, slowly abandoning his life, in turn, to live this new one with you.

Chenya- The weird citizen who somehow always finds you. No matter how many trees, rocks, or even heads you throw at him, he just always seems to come back with a smile on his face. He’s not a part of the monster organization hunting you down, but he isn’t normal either. All you know is his name is Chenya, and he wants… You don’t know what he wants but he’s always there! You wonder if he’s a monster too, but the way he answers no so casually tells you he is just a regular human. So why is he everywhere??? Synopsis: This human holds too much mystery to be sure of his motives, but one thing is for sure, he has a great interest in always staying by you.

Heartslaybul Upper Ranks- They find out about you when they follow Riddle one day on a private job. The moment they see him confront you they silently cheer him on, completely expecting their tyrant of a unit leader to immediately behead you upon sight. When he doesn’t they’re left in a state of confusion, only further enriching the feeling when Riddle doesn’t kill you, but cages you. You escape his grasp once more and all of them overhear the way he whispers.

“I shall not let you escape…!” Now they’re curious as to why Riddle is so set on taking you, not because of the rules of his job, but because of his wants. You’ve successfully swayed the strict Rule-Followers heart, it only makes sense his soldiers have grown curious about you… They scramble away when Riddle walks in their direction, though now that they look closer… Are his cheeks blushed red? Ace’s snickers immediately alert their leader's attention, his face instead red with anger. “Are you the reason they’re gone?!” They’re all quick to run as Trey attempts to calm him. Surely, it can’t be that serious, You’ll get that monster next time! Trey is the only one who hears Riddles's confession of not beheading you, but rather… No, this should be a secret between them.

Ace and Deuce - Officially meet you on a mission, where their luck randomly has them crossing paths with a disguised you. When that cloak falls, the beginning of their infatuation is sparked. They can finally see you up close… and now they finally understand why Riddle is so obsessed with you. Ace throws a quick smirk at Deuce, silently communicating a plan. They feign worry as they pose as travelers, worried about your safety. They’re lucky you assume them to be innocent merchants and not secret hunters. However… are merchants usually this close to their clients? They’re basically breathing on you…!

Trey and Cater - You sneak into Trey’s part time bakery on Sages quarter, attempting to try all the food you have never tried. The both of them assume you’re just a random monster that showed up, giving them extra work. They’re proven wrong when they instead find you. They’re quick to put away their weapons and beckon you over with sweet promises.

Savanaclaw Upper Ranks- First introduced to the idea of you when they see Leona covered in scratches and bruises. They assume he either went out on a mission, or something else entirely. Their suspicions are proven wrong when they quietly hear Leona mumble your name, kicking rocks as he plans his future trap for his prey (you. Though, not even Leona’s sure if he can call you prey. The moment he catches you, he already knows he’s gonna treat you way better than meat slabbed on his plate). They remember the name quickly, a top rated bounty. Jack is proud at their unit leaders strong strive that hasn’t been seen in so long, while Ruggies wondering if there’s a way for him to get some of that money. One thing is sure, Leona certainly has them interested in you too (accidently).

“Damn monster… Ruinin’ my sleep…” The two of them watch Leona glare at a flower. They think he’s gonna sand it down to dust. They’re thrown off when he plucks it and pockets with a swiftness that’s honestly funny. Now they need to know who has their unit leader so starstruck.

Jack & Ruggie - Meet you when they’re training. It’s pure chance when the leaves of a tree rustle, a body falling out of its branches. They rush over, assuming it to be an innocent towns person who most likely broke a rib or two. They’re frozen when the body picks its head up, the pretty sight of the most heinous monster in existence (you) blinking at them in a daze. Ruggie laughs as he leans you on his shoulder. Well, now he doesn’t think he wants that bounty money anymore. Jack was never in it for the reward, but he can’t deny he thinks the same as Ruggie.

Ocatvinelle Upper Ranks- They’re already aware of you from the get go. They were both hiding behind a tree as they witness Azuls first meeting with you. So, in a sense, their first meeting with you was right then, beating Azul with dark bruises before fading into shadows. They never tell him about their excursion though, acting oblivious when Azul vents to them about his encounter with you. Ohh…! He really thought he could get you…! They nod along, subtly feeding into his confidence. My, and they thought he only wanted the status! To think you changed Azul from just one meeting alone… You are quite the entertainer.

“I’ll get them next time…!” Azul slams his fist down on the desk, his weapons clattering at the impact. Usually, he would care about such damages, it’s expensive furniture! But the look on his face is something entirely different, as if he couldn’t care about that fortune anymore. What would it matter if he can’t lavish you in it? He buries his head in his hands, glancing over at the golden conch on his table. Monsters like shiny things don’t they? Perhaps you’ll come out to him when you see its glimmer. Jade and Floyd giggle as Azul scrambles to form a basket of glittery objects. Jade shines the gold necklace in his hand, it’s comforting to know they all had the same idea~

Jade & Floyd - They finally meet you face to face after such a long time of only knowing your elusive nature, all because they flashed diamond and gold in the moons light. Despite the way you snarl and throw insults at them, they don’t seem fazed one bit. “Ehh, Shrimpy’s kinda pretty up close huh?” Jade nods along. That uniform of theirs looks familiar... That slimy hunter..! Though… You think you might prefer him over these two…

Pomefiore Upper Ranks- Another pair (#3) who stalk their unit leader. Though, Completely unwilling for Epel. The sight of a disheveled bruised and beaten Vil is distraughting for Rook, he’s only narrowly held back by Epel who clings to him. He whispers warnings to the blonde, if you got out there you’ll die! But to let a comrade in arms perish despite being so near must be a much more horrible fate! He’s already pulling back the string of his bow to kill an ugly beast like you. But then, Vil ducks out of the way, the moonlight hitting you, and allowing both of them to see the sight Vil saw so up close. The bow drops down as Rook gasps. My... You are the epitome of beauty.

“How horrible…” Vil sits up from the dirty spot on the floor, dusting off his uniform. Rook and Vil are ready to run up to him, but stop when they notice Vil lift an object up to the light, a sadistic laugh of victory escaping his throat. “Yet amazing.�� a bottle of crimson liquid illuminates with the moon behind it. “You and I, should be the fairest together.” he covers the glass container in a sack. “But first, I should strive to become much fairer.” Epel is left quirking an eyebrow at a teary eyed Rook. He doesn't know why… But he feels like Rook wants to both hunt you, and court you.

Epel & Rook - Meet you because of Rook somehow picking up your disguised figure in an overpacked crowd. You’re unsuspecting to the hunters that lurk behind you, wanderingly aimlessly in your next feast. You’re about to open your mouth and take your first bite of a meal, when a gloved hand covers your mouth and brings you into their body heat. A mysterious blonde man looks at you with a smile while he tugs your restraints. Non non, your face would be sullied with blood! Our queen wouldn’t like that, right Epel? The other hunter nods, tightening the rope in his hands. Something tells you it’s not just Vil who’s determined to see your beauty up close.

Diasmonia Upper Ranks- They’re alerted to your continuing existence when Malleus bursts through the door, his overwhelming strength almost shooting the hinges. It's been a while since he’s acted like this. The first time happened when he first became unit leader, his cause of disarray being a sighting of you he missed by two minutes because Crowley kept the sevens meeting running long. It doesn’t take much to assume this next cry is caused by you as well. They’re proven right when Malleus tightens his fists, cracking the statue near the door with a strong hit. The utterance of your name proves them right. He takes a glance at the pictures of you ripped from books, each one adorned with a flower he believed to fit your aura in the frame. He turns back with anger and sorrow, walking away from the board.

“I finally saw them… But was it even worth it if I couldn't speak to them?” The confession leads to panic. Malleus… Finally met you? So… You do exist! They’re about to cheer for him, but remember his current unpleasant mood and deter from the decision. Though, the only thing left to do then is get you for him, is it not? They all collectively look at each other before leaving the chambers with great haste. Lilias laughing with joy, Silver is dazed yet still determined, and Sebek… Well, he views you with disdain, as you are a filthy monster, the things they’ve sworn to kill and protect the world from. But, you are the object of Malleus’s interest, so… He should most likely pursue you.

Lilia & Silver & Sebek - Meet you through a sucessful plan, where you glare at them from above the fire they have you dangling over. You’re shouting curses at them, hoping at least one will cast and bring misfortune to their lineage. You grunt in frustration when nothing lands due to your panic. Lilia tilts his head at you, questioning if this is really the monster blessed with the highest bounty in history, as well as Malleuses infatuation. Though he can’t deny it, he’s quite curious too, and he can confidently say the other two feel the same way. Silver is fully awake for once as he stares at you, even Sebek doesn't seem as uptight. In both of their minds, you’re a danger to Malleus, but you’re also his in the same breath, which is why... They feel so guilty for feeling the same way he does towards you. Lilia laughs as he swings you towards his arms, catching you with a strength unbefitting his frame. It seems you’ve captured both Diasmonas Unit leader and his uper ranks.

And perhaps… Maybe all of Sages Quarters key people.

Answering your question BLACKSTAR question, Hinata & Aogiri are the newest members in Theater Starless that appeared in S5CH5 & became understudies. Hinata(VA is Daiki Yamashita) was invite by Starless’s old owner, Iwami, & got to join his favorite team, TeamB. Aogiri(VA is Taku Yashiro & singing VA is SHIN) went & hoped to be Starless’s designer, where Mokuren liked Aogiri’s designs, both Aogiri’s initial designs & test designs after listening to a demo song, & invited Aogiri to join TeamC as a performer & singer (Mokuren also named him Aogiri due to Starless’s rule on never revealing their true name).

However, both of the new characters are a bit suspicious due to Heath noticing their “color” where Hinata’s is a bit suspicious(not much detail was explained) & Aogiri’s is a strange “color with no light” that Heath doesn’t like; Hinata’s phone call towards the end of S5Ch5 of wanting to kick out Heath despite being a big fan of Heath; Heath made a phone call w/ a number received by Gui’s Master where he was warned that somebody dangerous was nearby; Sotetsu’s research on Aogiri noticing that Aogiri wasn’t involved in performing; & at the end of S5, Aogiri wants to help Saki(the heroine) “remember” something but it actually caused her pain.

Though for a tiny bit of unrelated info, Hinata’s least fave food are veggies except for french fries & Aogiri’s least fave food is mayonnaise. Irony is that Hinata got his looks compared to TWST Vil from the youtube comments & Aogiri would fit Pommefiore due to his interest in design & his least fave food being similar to Vil.

To everyone else, Mafuyu is a "good girl." However, to herself and behind the mask, she lacks emotion, empathy and apathy; abandoned by her true self a long time ago, she is desperately searching to find herself once again. deepL : a translator created by a deep learning ai company. Extremely good (though not perfect of course), dump google translate right now and switch to this to make your life so much better.

jisho : An online dictionary. You can input english, japanese, and romaji japanese. There’s options to input kanji by drawing it or selecting radicals (the parts that make up a kanji) and there’s voice input. Great for translating single words/phrases. You can also use it to figure out the parts of a sentence since it tries to separate out and translate each part, though it’s not 100% reliable.

kanji . sljfaw . org : Another resource for finding kanji. I usually use its multiradical by type option, which separates the radical options into enclosure, left, upper, middle, and less common elements.

hougen . hirosakicity . com : An example of dictionary for Tsugaru dialect, the dialect Epel uses. This doesn’t cover every single Tsugaru dialect word though. When I was trying to understand Epel in the December update I had to use like 3 different dictionaries.

Any search engine : “Meaning” in Japanese is 意味. Put that after whatever word/phrase you need help with and search it, hopefully you’ll find something.

If you’re learning Japanese like me, I recommend using quizlet or something so you can make a collection of words you’ve had to look up and then test yourself on them occasionally to increase the chances of remembering it.

Finally, if you can’t read hiragana/katakana, please learn it it will probably help you a lot. It’s not scary alright, just read the learning hiragana and katakana guides on tofugu then find a quizlet set and keep testing yourself on them until you’ve got those mnemonics down well. You’ll be slower than a snail at reading it at first but just keep getting practice and it’ll gradually get faster and feel more natural to you.

Ship names

The Japanese spellings for stuff like the character names can all be found on the english wiki, so I’m not putting them all here.

I’ll teach you how to form TWST ship names though, based on my observations. Ship names are generally formed using the first 2 katakana of each person’s name. First 3 if there’s small katakana. If there’s a dash in the way, it’ll stop before it like Deuce (デュース) becoming Deu (デュ), it will delete the dash to keep going like Ace (エース) becoming エス, or leave the dash like Ace becoming エー. Also Jack (ジャック) becomes ジャク. Idk, use common sense to try and reason out what is short yet still identifiable as the character. If you can’t figure it out just search for the character, scroll until you see an obviously shippy image, then check its tags.

Edit: included Ace becoming エー. The shortening that is used depends on the ship.

Anyway, those shortened names are then smashed together with the “seme” going first to form the ship name. If you search a ship and you don’t find much, try switching around the names.

Examples: 

Floyd (フロイド) + Riddle (リドル) = FuroRido (フロリド)

Jade (ジェイド) + Silver (シルバー) = JeiShiru (ジェイシル)

You notice something about Floyd and Jade’s names? Yes, they both end in ido (イド). This is why ships involving the two of them with someone else are named things like IdoAzu (イドアズ) and IdoKali (イドカリ). Be careful not to mix up イドアズ with イデアズ, which is Idia and Azul.

A thing to note about names in general in the Japanese fan base is that they often use emojis for characters (ex. Jade is 🐬). Search ツイステの絵文字 in google images and you’ll find multiple guides on what characters are what emoji.

Random Pixiv tags and vocabulary in no particular order:

注意 = warning

ログ = log

まとめ = compilation

稚魚 = fry.   As a Pixiv tag, baby Octavinelle

化 = -ification (ex. うさぎ化 = bunnyification, TWST charas as bunnies)

_章 = chapter _    (ex. 5章 = chapter 5)

寮長／副寮長 = dorm leader / vice dorm leader

オクタ = Octa, shortened version of Octavinelle

ツイポケ = TuiPoke, TWST x Pokemon crossover. A Pixiv tag.

オバブロ / 闇落ち = Overblot, 2nd one is literally something like “fallen into darkness”

落書き = doodle

監督生 = Prefect/Yuu/MC. Shortened to 監 for ship names.

ツイ腐テ = Twisted Wonderland Yaoi

Hey so this thought has been on my mind for like ages and I think that you'd be able to write a headcanon about it in a wonderful way, so I'm presenting this idea to you hehe ( I love ur blog so so so much btw!)

So let's say that whatever miracles of seven happened, that Yuu overblots. Being constantly pushed around by other students by being magicless, solving the idiot trio's problems, trying to survive overblots and dealing with Crowley's neglectful ass cheeks sure is not easy. With all the piled and bottled up negative emotions, Yuu like the previous boys, overblots. Yuu wasn't that hard to defeat cuz you know, they're magicless, but the twst boys did struggle and Yuu's quite the challenge too. So what if, after Yuu's overblot, they had a full on mental breakdown. Not like crying mental breakdown, they're full on SCREAMING, their voice are cracking too, and very painful to hear. They started to unconsciously harm themselves so they have to be tied down to prevent to hurt themselves further. How would the dormleaders react to that?

(Sorry for my English and if I ever break a rule, it's OK if you decide to not do this too. Btw I got this idea when I watch ATLA aka Aang the last airbender, for reference of the breakdown of Yuu just search "Azula's breakdown" that practically how their breakdown looked like :D)

I cant write headcanons because you basically wrote everything. I will just make comments and additions to this. first I mention the background, secondly Azula’s breakdown so non ATLA watchers can understand a little and lastly, MC having breakdown like Azula. For the record, I could write about ATLA for pages since it is something I love since 2005. LOL This became a bit meta xd

Firstly, the back ground:

I was 7 years old when ATLA started airing. I’d be excited to get back home to watch ATLA after school. Azula’s breakdown was awful back then when I first watch it as a kid. And of course, when they aired the episodes again and again. I rewatched again because I remembered the show being dope when I was in 12th grade which was stress relief while studying for university exams, and then I rewatched last year and even founded a Zutara server. Now I’m getting back to the point. In the last two rewatching, I saw Azula in a different light and her breakdown at the end of the show was understandable. I can recommend some ATLA meta that you might like. 

Secondly, Azula’s breakdown: 

Azula lost everything. In the flashbacks, you saw she was getting along with Zuko, laughing and playing tag until Ozai’s influence on her grew while Ursa showed more affection towards Zuko since Ozai basically hated Zuko. These two triggered each other and it grew like snowball effect which came to the point that Ozai-Azula and Ursa-Zuko. She didn’t get love from Ozai, she was just a puppet, someone to empower him more, not his daughter meanwhile to Ursa, she was a monster. Azula was 8 years old  Ursa disappeared. Imagine how this would affect the child. After this, she had estranged brother that she was jealous of because of Ursa’s love, a father who manipulated her, and an uncle who was too in pain to do anything and he was more focused on Zuko. She only had Mai and Ty Lee as “friends” but it was toxic and Azula used fear to control them. After Zuko got banished, Mai and Ty Lee went to their own places, leaving Azula alone with Ozai. Just when Zuko got back, she was being like the last times, cruel teasing, Mai and Ty Lee with her. Later, Zuko went away and probably got lectured by Ozai for her lie. Mai and Ty Lee stood against her. In the end, she had no one. Ozai didn’t want her with him either because he only wants power. Being alone drew her to the edge. In the Royal Hair Washing, the girl sje fired had her face. Her self hatred was palpable. She started to reflect this via Ursa, the mother who thought her as monster and didn’t love her like she did Zuko. I believe she would have had breakdown if she actually killed Zuko. At the end, she couldn’t handle it anymore. Being all alone, not being loved, self hatred and finally failing at something which is something she knows Ozai would never tolerate like he did with Zuko. This 14-year-old wouldn’t be able to handle it anymore and had breakdown.

Now last section, MC having breakdown like Azula’s:

Let’s see the things MC went through:

Stripped away from home

Doesn’t have much memory of it

Is thrusted into a world so foreign to them, where everything is foreign to them. There is no familiar thing that can make them recall home or feel at home

Is forced to study things that they have no prior info where the others have prior info and they are expected to ace the tests. This puts on pressure on regular students, can’t imagine the pressure they would feel since they barely understand the magic.

Is treated like trash by everyone at least once. From the first moment they came to Twisted Wonderland, they were like dirtbag. Dire gave them a house where they could get Hepatitis A to C, tetanus, hypothermia and any other disease. They have lived in that state for months and the house barely got fixed by the end of exams. They got belittled or used by almost all characters at least once. Examples: Vil calling them nobody; Azul trying to take the only thing they have from them, the dorm; Riddle calling them uneducated because not having magical parents; Leona acting like they are a toy in E2; Jamil literally manipulating their choice; sometimes NPC characters talked; Cater making them do his work etc.

They are given more than a person should handle. They are not certificated psychologist, they aren’t superhuman, they don’t have super healing... They are just human but has to fight enemies than can easily kill them if it were not the magic users around them. They are given the task of dealing with the emotional breakdown of the other people.

All of these are building up more and more. Maybe they started to get along with people after the belittlement and being used but every new character does this. At one point, it will be too much and they will think “they are only nice to me because I did a favor to them. If not for that, they wouldn’t be nice to me” which would lead to self doubt. When one starts doubting themselves, everything else starts to go down. Also, new characters treating them that way adds salt to the wound.

MC isn’t a professional psychologist. They can’t handle other people’s issues without taking a toll at themselves. They don’t even catch a break between everything.

Dire is deliberately keeping them away from home as they all do the errands he say. To him, what MC wants doesn’t matter much. The game doesn’t show but if MC has family and friends or pets, you can’t tell me that they wouldn’t miss them once or see, hug them or know their state, alive-dead, healthy-sick etc. 

Lastly not being invincible. The end of Episode 5 shows this well. They couldn’t stand against Grim who isn’t as powerful as the other overblot characters. They are mortal who can get hurt easily.

Now all these build up meanwhile we don’t see an MC centered chapter, how they are etc. It’s all about the others. Maybe there were a few chapters asking if MC is okay after everything but it feels like it is in the second plan. 

Everything that I mentioned can lead to a breakdown like Azula’s. Everything is just too much to handle and they don’t talk with a professional about it. When they finally let out everything, it feels much better, screaming out their lungs, lashing out like all of them did. They are finally letting out all of their emotions, crying and screaming; yet still feels better than bottling everything up. They think maybe that’s how overblot characters felt.

All in all, everyone in NRC needs a counselor.
