Tom has been very busy lately, whether that was being on set for Spider man, hanging out with friends, being away for events or even on interview meetings at home. This means that he hasn’t been able to spend quality time with his four year old daughter, Y/N. Recently he has been too stressed and busy, leading him to snap out at his daughter, not realising the effect it was having on her.

Y/N spent most her days at the Holland’s family household missing her father a lot. She tried to spend time with him but she always fount him busy or always talking on the phone about his job. Y/N was only four so she didn’t understand everything about his job, all she knew is that he plays a big role as her favourite superhero spider-man, and that’s why he seems to never spend time with her like he used to.

Today, though, she grew very bored, only wanting to play with her toys with her dad or watch a movie with him. Her little feet ran down the stairs searching for the only person she loved the most. “Daddy?” She called out, hoping to find her dad somewhere around the house.

“Twssa where’s daddy?” She asked the Staffordshire Bull Terrier like she would answer back to the little girl. Tessa got up from her laying down position greeting the little girl with her tongue, y/n giggling at the feeling.

Her giggling may have been a bit too loud that Tom walked out of the room that he was in muting his phone to talk to her. “Y/n your being to loud” Tom told her, this being the first time she had seen her dad today and it was around 4 in the afternoon.

“Sorry” The four year old muttered, stroking Tessa’s body. Tom was about to walk back into the room he has been in for the past three hours when y/n spoke again. “I’m hungwy” She spoke, not having eaten all day.

Tom rolled his eyes without thinking, “I’ll make you something after i’m done” That’s all he said leaving the little girl alone in the kitchen, fully closing the door behind him. Y/N walked over to the door tears falling down her face, her dad never shuts the door, not even if he’s on a online interview. Tom knows y/n can’t open the doors, it being to hard for her to do so.

Y/n decided to go back to her room for a little while waiting for Tom to finish his important phone call. She grew too hungry though, she had never missed breakfast nor lunch before and she needed food.

Her little fists knocked at the closed door, the door swinging open not long after, a tired and stressed Tom appearing.

“Daddy!” She happily smiled lifting her arms up waiting for Tom to pick her up like he usually did but when he didn’t her excitement faltered.

“What y/n?!” He snapped raising his voice a little too loud for the young girl. “Why you mad?” She questioned.

“Because you keep bothering me! Can’t you see i’m busy! I can’t have you being loud and giggling everywhere when I’m busy doing things for my job, y/n! Fuck off!” He yelled, he had never sworn at his daughter before, he hadn’t even yelled at her like that ever.

Y/n stayed silent tears welling in her eyes, she walked away from the door Tom feeling a bit guilty for her but closed the door again wanting to finish his meetings.

It was now 8 o’clock y/n hadn’t eaten all day and it was nearly her bed time, so she decided to take matters into her own hands. She used the chairs to climb onto the counter, opening the cupboard to find something to snack on.

Y/n sadly smiled seeing her favourite crisps that she loved and a fruit juice. Picking up her snacks to eat, she closed the cupboard, slowly getting off the counter and back on the chair. It was quiet high up so she tried to be extra carful.

Unfortunately though she lost her balance her and the chair falling with a scream coming out from her lips. The crisps and juice fell out of her hands as she hit the floor with a thud, her head smacking against the marble floor which would for sure turn into a huge bump in just a few minutes.

The sound of her screaming sobs and cries brought Toms attention. He quickly put his script down glancing at the time it reading 8:12. He heard Tessa barking in the background of his daughters cries, opening the closed door and racing to where he could hear the whimpers.

There his four year old daughter sobbed, her hand holding the top of her head and the chair laying flat against the floor. He saw the fruit juice and crisp packet as well. “Princess, Hey. Hey, what happened?” He softly asked her eyes locking with his as she tried to move away making his heart break.

“I’m s-sorry.” She tried covering her mouth with her over hand trying to make her crying sounds less loud. Y/n waited for her dad to shout again telling her to be quiet but he didn’t this time. However her doing this actions made her find ur harder to breathe properly as she was hyperventilating.

Tom sat on the floor, taking her hand away from her mouth. He pulled her into his lap, stroking her hair rocking them both back and forth. After a few minutes her sobs turned into sniffles, she clung onto Tom hiding her face in the crook of his neck.

“What happened, baby?” He finally asked.

“I-I was hwngry. I wanted a snack a-and I used the chwir and then I went on there….I tried to get down but I fell and hit my head on the floor and it hurts” She sniffled, Tom immediately remembered that all day she hadn’t eaten, him being too caught up with his job he didn’t feed her at all. He pulled her away from him, examining her head that grew into a big bump.

Tom moved over to the freezer, y/n on his hip. He grabbed a bag of frozen peas, sitting y/n on the counter and placing the bag on her head. “It may feel weird but I need to keep it on here for a few minutes” He told her.

Few minutes passed, he threw the frozen peas back into the freezer telling y/n that they will have to do it again later. He brought her over to the sofa feeling guilty as ever. “I’m so sorry, princess. I didn’t mean to shout at you, I’m just so tired and it was wrong of me to do that” He kissed her head as a tear fell down his cheek.

“It’s okay.” She simply said, looking at him and wiping his tears.

“It’s not. I shouldn’t do that, you shouldn’t ever be rude to people if your tired, and I shouldn’t especially ever do that to you. I guess I had a little tantrum, you know when you get angry and you start to hit me or throw things around” She nodded her head understanding him now.

“That’s what daddy had. And I’m deeply sorry baby. Here let’s order some food, what would you like? McDonald’s?” He asked knowing she loved her happy meals.

“Mcdwnalds!” She cheered hugging Tom.

“I love you daddy!” She giggled with a smile.

“I love you so much more y/n” He smiled not wanting to let her go. He loves his daughter and he knows he will never treat her like that ever again.
