maki's rampage is so dear to me. "maki has gone mad". as if madness was not inevitable in the confines of the clan. as if it wasn't madness to resign yourself to the hellish realities of the clan. as if reason was still an option after mai killed herself to save maki. maki has gone mad. maki has never had more clarity.
