Lucy’s nose was buried in her phone while she was walking down the street, music blaring in her ears. She hadn’t even noticed that she was about to come face to face with Damon Salvatore until she nearly bumped right into him, skidding to a stop right before they collided. “Oh my god, I’m so sorry,” she said, taking her headphones out, not realizing who it was at first, and then becoming nervous when she saw who it was.

Valeria gasped for breath from where she was laying on the forest floor, trying to get enough air into her lungs before she stood up. Coming back from the Other Side took a lot out of the banshee but that wasn't going to stop her from finding her sons or her Pixie of a granddaughter. When she felt like she could stand up and walk, she started try and find her way out of the forest, to the town that she knew was never going to be the same as she remembered. As she was close enough to the entrance of the woods, Valeria saw two figures leaning against a tree the feminine figure looked like she was trying to scream for help but when the dark haired banshee opened her mouth to let out a piercing scream, she knew that the other women was dead. The blue eyed women stopped screaming after a few moments before walking and looking closer at the male, when she saw who it was she stopped in her tracks before asking in a whisper fulling knowing he can hear her "Damon, is that you?"

Back To The Start || Delena

It was an emotional day for both of them. Seeing their son marry the love of his life was something Elena had thought about for as long as she could remember and now that the day was here, Elena was in full-on mother hen mode. Things had been rough for her lately - especially with Damon - but it was moments like today that made her take a step back and realise just how lucky she was to have a husband and a family that loved her despite her many screw ups. Sure, she was having a hard time moving past what Damon had done, but she was slowly getting there. Things were civil and she had been okay with that for the time being, but seeing her son so happy on his wedding day made her think back to the time when she and Damon had been standing where Rick and Liz were today. Back when things were fresh and exciting and they were happy despite what everyone else thought of them. She wanted that back. She wanted her happy marriage back and she wanted to work through all the mistakes she and Damon had made recently. They had both screwed up, but was it really worth throwing away something that had once been so good? 

Watching Damon from across the room, Elena smiled to herself, turning and setting her glass down on the table behind her. Without taking her eyes off him, she headed across the room, picking up her pace the closer she got to him. As soon as she reached her husband, the doppelganger didn't say a word, but reached up and placed her hand on the back of his neck to pull him down for a kiss. An instantaneous smile came to her lips and it really hit her just how much she had missed him. "I really love you, you know?" She murmured against his lips, still grinning happily.
