This French-National Senegalese Londoner is an icon of internationality at the same time he exudes a boy-next-door familiarity. Its amazing how his suave, sophisticated look can shift to a hard-edged, in-your-face competitive athleticism with a mere shift of his eyebrows (unleashing the footballer blood that pumps through his veins;) and when his award-winning smile appears on his face … sit back and watch as he becomes immediately magnetic with that indefinable “huggable” likability that keeps the cameras, clients and fans flocking to him. TuTchT BLUE WAVE - RALPH SOUFFRANT One of the greatest things to happen to the Fashion Industry over the past several years is the uniquely lit magnificence that is Mr. Ralph Souffrant. This Haitian-American brother with a heart of gold has perfected his one-of-a-kind physical appearance into an international billboard for diversity and become a model superstar in the process. There’s much that can be said about this brother, but in this case, simply looking at him speaks volumes. As I was working on this TuTchT portrait (based on this summer’s “Live Your Truth” campaign for @lululemon) it was an unusual experience that was almost spiritual… I dunno, maybe because I know how pure this guy’s heart is or something, but for whatever reason, painting the contours of Ralph Souffrant’s face is spiritually akin to standing at the rim of the Grand Canyon. Real talk. What a gift he is. Thank you, brother, for sharing yourself with the world. TuTchT BLUE WAVE - ALEX HIBBERT His very first film was the Oscar Winning Best Piicture of 2017, “Moonlight.” His second was the record-setting “Black Panther.” Next, he stepped into “The Chi,” created by Lena Waithe, the first Woman of Color to receive a screenwriting Emmy. And the brother is only 14 years old. Talk about stepping right into a path of world-changing purpose! He has been at the forefront of work that represents the best and brightest future America can offer.
