Turhan Sultan, I will never forgive the producers for only giving you 4 episodes, but that didn't stop me from making you one of my favourites... u served hard, with limited time u had and Ibrahim never deserved you.

Literally the only Sultana that was smart enough to care about herself and her son first and not the sultans love.

the sound of stilettos against marbled floor echoed in the quiet hallways as afet made her way to the wing where they kept pieces that required work. there was a great amount of floor space and the right balance of natural light, so that the professionals could examine what they were taking on. the gallery was quiet at this time and she had nothing in her diary, hence why she had proposed the time to vera. afet entered the area and darted over to the oskar reinhart which had recently been acquired by the guildhall. it needed some refinement in places where the colours and details had worn out over time. that's where vera came in. after a few minutes of poring over the piece, she realised she had company. afet turned so that she was now facing vera, and nodded at the assistant who had escorted her to leave them be. "i hope your journey in wasn't too bad," she smiled briefly, "i had a bit of a nightmare getting in earlier."

Thomas figures Afet might slam the door in his face before he even gets through his pitch. She doesn't exactly hang a shingle advertising her services. Took him three weeks of careful conversations with her previous clients to piece together what she actually does. "I wouldn't normally approach someone this way," he says. The espresso at La Rosa D'oro taste off today, too bitter or maybe that's just his mood talking. "But after what happened at the Grand Royale, I'm running out of options." No point dancing around it. She probably already knows why he's here. "Someone mentioned you helped him last spring. Said you're the real deal." He slides the folder across the table. Lists of employees. Casino floor plans. Security protocols. Everything she'd need. "These people depend on me for their paychecks. I can't let this Onyx Circuit situation drag on." Feels weird laying his cards out like this. Not his style. But desperate times and all that crap. "If it's money you need, I'll pay. Just say you'll help us."

Vera picked at the cardboard sleeve on her coffee cup, barely paying attention to what was being discussed with Afet. Her mind kept wandering to the stack of documents waiting in her studio - three rush jobs that all needed to be perfect, and she was already behind schedule. "Sorry," she said. "I'm being terrible company right now. My head's just not here." She took a sip of her latte, which had gone lukewarm while she thought back about that day. Thomas had been texting her about dinner plans, but honestly, she was still hurt by their last conversation and she needed time apart. "There's just been a lot going on lately," she added, finally meeting Afet's eyes. The whole protective thing was getting old fast. She understood his family had enemies, understood the risks that came with dating someone like him, but being treated like she couldn't handle herself was another matter entirely. His concern came from good place, she knew that, but it felt suffocating rather than sweet.
