Patron Mate And Godfathered Patron Mate (Kin Terms)

I’ve decided to coin a new term. It’ll be a kin term that’ll help lots of kin cope with the canon mate thing.The term is going to be known as, “Patron mate” It’s like a canon mate; But you adopt them as your fill-in canon mate incase you never find said canon mate. Because rebirth is possible. But it’s possible they were rebirthed in another universe/time; Not ours. Some Daves miss their Bros, and may never find them. But some Bros? Lost their Daves and may never find them and weep at the thought. They’d give anything for their lil man back. So the missing socks come together even if they don’t match to be functional. Once you find your canon mate, they become a “Godfathered patron mate”. Incase anything happens to your canon mate y'all can take care of each other! Neither should mean more than the other so don’t neglect your “Godfathered patron mate” because you think you don’t need them anymore.

(Not saying canon tl Bro and Dave are exactly functional and it’s just an example; Apologies. Some Bro kin can be really nice, yknow?)

oh yeah, quick personal update on how things have been hanging since being here:

currently trying to crawl my way out of the canadian anim industry and get into indie games: i'm working at KO-OP on goodbye volcano high and D-CELL GAMES on UNBEATABLE :)

now living with my gf (moved out for the first time last year!!)

planning on just dumping art here every so often (unless twitter actually does explode) and reblog w/e (will tag accordingly)

this blog is in no way a professionally managed one; never has been and neither was my twitter, so don't expect that LOL

i've recently gotten into dunmeshi and i have immense brainworms from it. (i also started ff14 during the start of the pandemic and i'm trapped in hell)
