It's so frustrating sometimes that I'm minorly triggered by other leftists wishing harm on people just because they are soldiers. Like, idk, I understand the reality of the military industrial complex, but it still feels kind of rough as someone who has a lot of love for currently serving and retired veterans as a queer-genderfuck-transfemme I see the hate a LOT, but many serving people are in a similar boat as I am, identity/trauma/upbringing-wise. Hell, if I'd not lost trust in my family so early I could be one of those people, waiting to use my one free surgery, hoping I don't get a leg blown off before I'm able to take the payout and run. Like, people are brought in from poorer or less-educated demographics, because it is easier to get them to sign their lives away. There's so many reasons to not just indiscriminately yell hate about people just because they are soldiers, like cry and scream and kick about the people making decisions, not the people who are being sent somewhere they don't want to be, and being told to do things they hate, or else go to jail for the rest of their natural life, just because they made the mistake of signing a piece of paper while ignorant of what it meant. I get that maybe I'm an outlier, but when you just say that you think all soldiers should die you're talking about my family, friends, lovers, and human siblings.

My dear mutuals from Tumblr, insects afficionado, Tumblrettes entomologists: I've got 71 stings from an swarm of european honey bees (Apis mellifera).

I often wonder more than is healthy: How am I still alive?

I'm not allergic or anything, when I was a kid I've got stung by a wasp, but this time around I've got lucky 71 times being stabbed multiple times in my arms and head (yep, they decided to attack my hair mostly).

Is there any danger for me now after this weird episode?

Should I be worried about being stung again?

(I feel sorry about the dying bees, we're not making a great job here on Earth to keep their home safe.)
