#tumblr users i trust you on this one. reddit was sooooo unhelpful

cartoon stans of tumblr dot com (cartoonblr, if you will) i have some questions for u

1- is the ghost and molly mcgee episodic? or does it have some continuity but not a lot (ie gumball) or is it more story-driven & has an overarching plot (ie gravity falls)? i keep hearing differing opinions on this/can only find sources on this from a year ago.

2- does anyone have any animated show recs to fill the owl-and-frog shaped hole in my heart. yknow, more fantastical elements & a linear narrative, especially if it's still airing (because i feel like ive seen practically every kids' western animated show like this).

i will take recs for adult animation too!!! i adored castlevania & arcane on netflix (& will watch invincible. eventually. its on my list) & am open to anime recs too, ive literally only watched fullmetal alchemist brotherhood and spy x family (might watch mp100 next? maybe?) & i really wanna watch more. but again i am looking to fill the owl and frog shaped hole in my heart.
