Fic Rec List part 2 of 3 tonight

Since my original post was too long, I had to break it up into 3 posts tonight. Hopefully this works. The whole thing is the definitive list of all my favorite fics. On a scale of 1-10, all of these are rated 11 or higher. A single asterisk next to a fic is a desert island fic that I couldn’t do without. A double asterisk is a #1 all time favorite fic that I reread regularly. All links, Tumblr handle (if I know it), ao3 and/or ff profile, links to fics on ao3 and/or ff, are included.  So settle in for some fabulous reading from this EXTREMELY long list.

From @lenfaz on Tumblr, lenfaz on ao3 and ff *The Beanstalk is ch12 in her fic The 150, a collection of one shots. This is where her mind went when Killian tied the scarf around Emma’s hand. And I must say, I joyfully joined her. Rated M. ao3 and ff.

Time Upon Once is Lena’s retelling of season 1 with Killian as the savior. WIP with 13ch so far. Rated M. ao3 and ff.

Private Dancer is a modern AU. Killian falls for exotic dancer Emma. Rated M with 3ch. ao3 and ff

The Princess and the Pirate: I Love the Way You Lie is a canon divergent that picks up when Killian leaves Snow and Charming in the EF after Pan’s curse. Rated M WIP with 13ch so far. ao3 and ff.

Old Habits Die Hard is a canon divergent in which Liam was alive all this time on Neverland and escapes back to the EF just in time for the curse. So he is in Storybrooke when Emma arrives and becomes good friends with her. Things get interesting when Killian arrives in Storybrooke. Rated M with 15ch. ao3 and ff.

Of Thieves, Smugglers, and Reformed Hearts is a modern AU where Granny helps petty criminals get back on their feet. Rated T with 6ch. ao3 and ff.

A Tale of Two Brothers is an EF AU where Liam and Killian defect to Charming and Snow’s kingdom after discovering the treachery of their king. Rated T one shot. ao3 and ff.

Time After Time is a canon divergent in which Emma thinks the reason Liam doesn’t like her is because he believes she’s not good enough for Hook. But what if there is more to it than just that? Because the Underworld isn’t the first time Liam Jones meets Emma Swan. Not rated with 3ch.

Unbreakable is a canon divergent in which Killian is able to escape Pan’s curse with Emma and Henry. Rated M with 35ch.

Will Work for Coffee is an expansion of her one shot Working for a Living. It features Boss!Killian dominating Employee!Emma in every possible way. Rated E WIP with 5ch so far. ao3 and ff.

Her Master and Commander is an EF AU in which Captain Hook buys himself a pleasure slave ahead of a long journey. Rated E WIP with 11ch so far. ao3 and ff.

*Bless Me, Captain is a canon divergent fic with elements of seasons 1 and 6 in it. Emma has been sheriff of Storybrooke for as long as she can remember, so when the mayor's son Henry starts insisting that his mom is an imposter created by Dr. Jekyl's potion and the whole town is under a terrible curse she thinks he's going insane. But even worse is his claim that the local priest is her one true love. Rated E WIP with 8ch so far. ao3 and ff.

From Scheherezade06 on ao3 and ff *Ten Hours is a rated E canon divergent two shot where Killian tracks down Emma once he arrives in Storybrooke to get back the 10hrs she owes him. ao3 and ff.

Bedroom Hymns features cursed!Killian as a priest and Emma must convince him that he’s more pirate than priest. Rated M with 6ch. ao3 and ff.

My Night with Captain Hook (And Killian Jones) is exactly what it sounds like. Canon divergent during the CS movie. Rated M one shot. ao3 and on ff, it’s ch4 of A Dozen Lemon Filled.

Two Princes is an EF AU. Emma is cursed and sent to Neverland where she eventually meets Captain Hook. He takes her under his protection and gets her home where her father rewards him with a title. Rated T with 33ch. ao3 and ff.

No Way in Hell is a modern AU where Emma and Killian are actors on the same movie and they hate each other. Until they don’t. Rated M with 15ch.

Edit Your Own Fairytale is a modern AU 2 shot based on the prompt New employee slept with the new boss without knowing it. Rated M.

All of You is a Neverland canon divergent in which Pan puts Emma and Hook/Killian in a very strange situation. Rated M one shot.

From SmeeTheRat on ff Payback Has Its Rewards is a season 3 canon divergent fic in which Emma realizes that since returning from Neverland, Hook has kept watch over her at night from the building across the street. She decides to give him a show that he won’t soon forget. Rated M one shot.

From PetiteCafe on ff A Friendly Wager is a season 2 canon divergent fic where Emma and Hook make a bet, the stakes being his continued pursuit. Rated M with 4ch.

From @vanillatwilight17 on Tumblr, VanillaTwilight17 on ff A New Beginning picks up a year after Emma and Killian’s happy beginning. Emma is pregnant and the fic follows them through their new adventure as parents. Rated T WIP with 9ch so far.

*Snow Sees is an absolutely beautiful one shot of Snow’s thoughts as she watches her daughter and husband. Rated T.
