Soo, it has been a while since the last poll - the server shutdown for X just really took all the momentum out of that for me. Though it also didn't help that I didn't quite know what poll to run next. But now I do, so now it's time for:

The pupil design has been decided rather narrowly, so now it is time for:

The skin color has been decided, and the basic hair color has been chosen as well - the polls finally reconvene. So, now it is time for:

With a rather narrow win over hair styles 4 and 8, the hair style for M!Cross has been chosen as number 6. So, now it is time for:

Even though both male and female Cross ended up with unnatural skin colors, the exact color differs between the two. So, now it is time for:

While other height options saw moderate success, none of them came close to the votes that maximum height got. So, with our Cross now officially a tall queen, it is time for:

(Since there are a ton of color options for skin, I decided to simplify it by just going with the different brightness settings of one particular tone. If anyone's unhappy with that, I'm open to rerunning the poll with different options, when a good argument is made. The last option winning will results in a complete redo with several unnatural skin colors.)

(Since the lightest skin color really doesn't go well with the default hair style for this base face, I also decided to include a preview of what it looks like with another hair style, in case that ends up swaying any opinions)

Though there was a decent effort to get maximum height, minimum height ended up winning in the end with almost double the votes. With our Cross now officially a short king, it is now time for:

Okay. Hm. The completely unnatural skin colors have won for both the male and the female design for tumblr's Cross. But seeing as there are still a ton of of skin color options even so, and just picking a particular shade of a given color is going to be another poll in and of itself, I'm going to sort of split the polls here.

On the one hand, I'm going to let the skin color polls continue running with the same one week runtime. But on the other hand, as to move things along, I'm also going to move on to the next part of the main design process, which is going to be hair style (other minor design aspects such as freckles, cheeks, scars and moles are going to be decided later on) - the second place winner in each poll will in the meantime be used for the skin color in these (and might also be included in the final result as an alternate look).
