•Brushed Tumbling Mix• Need a shop assistant 😁 . My Brushed Tumbling Mix has cut my production time by an hour and sometimes two! I used to hand polish all my pieces now I pop them in my barrel tumbler or my vibratory tumbler if it's a large piece and just turn them on. This allows me to move onto create another piece or finish something I had already started. Because I'm juggling multiple tasks at once for not only my business, but also my family. My Brushed Tumbling Mix has given me the freedom to spend more time being a wife and mom as well as increase my work load. It's a WIN, WIN! I posted early last year that I had had a breakthrough for my studio. I've spent almost 2 years experimenting with different media even combining media to try and achieve not only a brushed finish but in a shorter amount of tumbling time and it had to work in both a barrel tumbler and a vibratory tumbler. My average tumble is approx 30 minutes to achieve the look you see in the picture in a rotary tumbler. Add up the min. You spend sanding, brushing, polishing, then patina, then removing patina.... Yeah it all adds up! When you could be doing something else and all those stages are being done for you!!! Not a fan of the matte/brushed finished look??? Want a high shine??? Pop you piece in the tumbler with some steelshot and boom now you have a high shine polished piece of jewelry!! Want the matte/brushed finish look and some embellished pieces to be high polished? Use a burnisher or propolish pad!!! I could go on and on because I'm so excited I'm finally getting to share what I've been doing in my own studio to create the looks you see in a shorter amount of time! I've sacrificed my time, metal, stones, ect. To test as many cenerios as I could before I felt confident in sharing a product that I am very excited and proud of. .
