Hello tumbletots, I’ve had a much happier day today. I think I gave myself quite a good talking to. I drag like a millstone the demand for fairness which many younger siblings feel. My childhood was a total battle for respect and attention.

I also observed and despised the constant expectation that women worked in the home to enable men to follow their careers. That able educated women might struggle and juggle a career alongside running a household always subservient to the needs of a husband. I will NOT be that woman.

It has been heightened by reading “Square Haunting” which is an exploration of five women who have all had connections to Mecklenburgh Square in Bloomsbury.

The first two understood the poison attached to being a woman and had that feeling I’ve had of not wanting to attach particularly to being female. I am first of all a human being you need know no other information about me unless it is specifically relevant.

It is not relevant to me as a photographer or artist.
