Obscure Tamagotchi of the week 001: Jugtchi

Hey guys! I know I am new here on Tumblr but I thought it would be really fun if I listed obscure Tamagotchis! So every week I will be posting a new tama that you likely don’t even know about!

Our first Tamagotchi in this series is Jugtchi, who only appeared in the Japanese exclusive “Hoshi de Hakken!! Tamagotchi“ on the PS1! This gotchi is one of the first you encounter in this game along with  Pumptchi! He evolves from Tulitchi Red with bad care and high power or from Piyotchi Yellow with good care and high intelligence!

Jugtchi’s name is a reference to the water holding instrument. His Japanese name directly translates to Jagutchi which is a reference to japanese word for faucet, “Jaguchi” ( 蛇口)

Obscure Tamagotchi of the week: 002 Omentchi

This creepy guy is known as Omentchi, a tamagotchi who only appeared in the Japanese exclusive “Hoshi de Hakken!! Tamagotchi“ on the PS1! He evolves from Tulitchi Red with good care and high intelligence.

Omentchi’s name comes from the word omen, meaning an event regarded as a portent of good or evil. His japanese name directly translates into Mask, (お面) which is a reference to the mask he wears.

Obscure Tamagotchi of the week 005: Pumptchi

This interesting fellow is Pumptchi, A blue Tamagotchi who only appeared in the Japanese exclusive “Hoshi de Hakken!! Tamagotchi“ on the PS1! This gotchi is one of the first you encounter in this game along with Jagutchi! He evolves from Tulitchi Red with bad care and high intelligence!

In his info card, it states Pumptchi’s body is always full of mineral water.

His name is obviously a reference to a water pump.
