The entire city center is organized like a large parking garage. The Asian city and the high-rise architecture are breathtaking.
In the morning you will experience the sunrise at Uluru. Afterwards you will go by bus around Uluru to rocks, caves and waterholes. Here you take some walks along the foot of Uluru.

These are fantastic pictures on your blog. I haven't seen the Moeraki Boulders like this. That was one of the days when it rained so much that we really didn't want to leave the camper or the camping site. Please activate your JavaScript setting in your browser. The new TUI.com App combines the popular functions of the My TUI App with the additional Search & Book function. The TÃœV Saarland awarded the TUI guest survey with "very good". It is not only the variety of different landscapes that makes New Zealand so special, but also the fact that they are so close together. Our hotline is available for you daily from o'clock. Not to forget of course the wildlife waiting for you in New Zealand. "What does Australia have to do with New Zealand? Read more about campervan hire New Zealand here.
How much money do you need for Work and Travel?
In the south of the continent the Australian summer (October to March) is the most beautiful season. In autumn and winter (May to September) it can be cool and windy, in the Australian Alps and on Tasmania there is also snow. The rainy season in the tropical north (Wet Season) lasts from November to April.
I played around a little and booked and confirmed a flight from Malaga (where we stay) to Auckland and back to Malaga from 02.12.2013 - 06.01.2014 for me and my wife for a total of 1.067 €.
{
German citizens do not need a visa for a stay up to 3 months.starting point for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing you will reach from there in approx. 1.067 €. For this, stones are heated in a hole in the ground. I prefer to travel on my own, that means without a booked tour or something like that, I want to explore the nature and the countries by myself and be as independent as possible. An umbrella should therefore not be missing in your luggage. The daytime temperatures are 18°C with seven hours of sunshine per day. August is actually still a winter month, but its daytime temperatures of more than 15°C already give hope for spring. The water temperature usually has the same value. You definitely need reserves & a return ticket or instead of the return ticket a little more money. But these things are only checked randomly on arrival at the airport - maybe not at your friend's.
On the other hand, if you recognize yourself in one of the points below, you can reconsider whether New Zealand is your destination. Please note that we can only help you with bookings that

Signs with "Railway Crossing" and right of way give "Give Way" as well as stop signs can also be found at the level crossings. The distance (distance or distance) between Germany and New Zealand is about 18,364 kilometres (km) as the crow flies. What you can expect there, has been shown in many movies, some of them impressive and partly funny, as in the case of the cinema hit from the 80s, Crocodile Dundee. Here a small crocodile of 5m and there one of the many highly poisonous snakes, of which there are quite a few in Down Under. Some of the most dangerous animals are not only to be found in the interior of the country, but romp around in the offshore waters or in the rivers themselves.
You want to know when is the best time to travel to Bali? Here you can get all the information and many valuable tips.
With both of them no actions noticed, the Globetrotter is a lot cheaper. We are still in the planning phase, also regarding taking it with us or buying it on location. On a historical basis Australia had a substantial portion of New Zealand's independence. Both countries were formerly colonies ruled by the British Crown. Read more about campervan hire New Zealand here.
How much is New Zealand?
The Dutch explorer Abel Tasman was the first European to reach New Zealand in 1642. But the British were later responsible for the colonization of the country. In 1840 the Treaty of Waitangi, an agreement between the British Crown and the Maori chiefs, was signed.
|}
But there is also wind and a cold climate here.
Rental cars and campervans are now the cheapest. The prevailing westerly winds bring New Zealand abundant rainfall. On the North Island an average of more than 1,000 mm per year falls. On the South Island the regional differences are much greater. The southern part of the North Island and the lowlands of the South Island are in the temperate climate zone. Might be interesting for others as well. But the insurance is only valid for a certain length of the trip, many people do not pay attention to that. We were on the road for 2 months and thus over the given length of the trip - I think it was 50 days - and then booked our insurance through TUI and their Visacard Gold extra. {
Who discovered New Zealand?
Our New Zealand travel budget for flights looked like this for a short time: Flights with Lufthansa/Air New Zealand from Dresden to Christchurch (back from Auckland) with a stopover in Tokyo: 1.507 Euro per adult, 1.220 Euro per child = 5.454

distance New Zealand → Australia
Your Opinion
The electronic entry permit NZeTA can be applied for online or on mobile devices via the NZeTA app and is also required for a stay in the transit area. Entry and import regulations for German citizens may change at short notice without the Foreign Office being informed in advance. Legally binding information and/or information going beyond this information on entry and customs regulations for the import of goods can only be obtained directly from the representative offices of your destination country. Violations are severely punished, even for first-time offenders prison sentences of several months are the rule, often in combination with fines of several thousand New Zealand dollars. When hiking and extreme sports, make sure you have the right equipment for all weather conditions and also familiarise yourself with the risks involved in sightseeing flights. However, the insurance is only valid for a certain length of trip, many people don't pay attention to this. We were on the road for 2 months and thus over the given travel length - I think it was 50 days - and then booked our insurance separately via TUI and their Visacard Gold. With Jetstar you get flights from BKK to Auckland for 250€. Read more about campervan hire New Zealand here.
Tumblr media
Snow is also frequent in the domestic regions of Canterbury and Otago. The Federal Foreign Office urgently advises you to follow the recommendations contained in the travel and safety instructions and to take out appropriate insurance cover, e.g. health insurance cover abroad with repatriation insurance.
How long does the flight from Germany to New Zealand take?
flight time (duration of flight) to Auckland - New Zealand. The flight time (flight duration) from Frankfurt/Main to Auckland in New Zealand is just under 24 hours with one stopover. During this time span over 18000 flight kilometres are covered!
Spring is from September to November, hot summer from December to February, autumn from March to May and mild winter from June to August. The southwest of Western Australia attracts with its Mediterranean climate. Here you will also find the metropolis of Perth. The remaining four fifths of the state consist of desert area. The only rain, which falls very sparsely in most parts, is due to occasional monsoon showers in summer.
Tumblr media
How far is it from Berlin to New Zealand?
The climate in New Zealand is divided into three zones. The north of the North Island lies in the subtropics. Here, there are very mild winters and relatively warm summers. The southern part of the North Island as well as the lowlands of the South Island are in the temperate climate zone.
Have a look at stopover-info.de, there you will find a lot of information and tests. And while the weather in New Zealand is generally not very predictable, because it is extremely cold and wet, it is not very clear what the weather will be like.

Whether a boat trip through the picturesque Milford Sound fjord, breathtaking waterfalls, thermal springs, snow-capped mountain peaks or active volcanoes, cheap New Zealand motorhome there are countless opportunities for adventures. Learn more about the Maoris in Rotorua - in the cultural heart of New Zealand on the North Island. The small towns enchant you with their charm, the cities are more cosmopolitan than ever and what lies between them will take your breath away. In New Zealand there are no multi-lane highways that lead past the cities and the countryside. For this reason, you can marvel at all of this directly from the window of your motorhome while driving. Explore New Zealand's breathtaking natural landscape at your own pace and in complete freedom. The North and South Island offer adventurous activities. Christchurch is the main port of call to pick up a motorhome for an adventure on the South Island. It is close to many highlights and has the largest airport on the island with regular flights from Auckland and international flights from Australia. On the "Backpacker's Car Markets" in Auckland and Christchurch, sellers pay a fee to be able to offer their cars . Interested buyers pay - nothing. Let yourself be enchanted by the landscape of Tekapo before you return to Christchurch. In general, your chances will be better in Auckland than in Christchurch, a) because more tourists depart and sell their cars there, and b) because more people generally live there. The same applies, of course, when it comes to sales - in Auckland your sales offer will face much more competition and therefore less interest! Counter-cyclical travel or at least a sale of the car in Christchurch and then a domestic flight to Auckland make sense. A large part of the purchases and sales of used cars and campers is therefore “live”.

The cities Auckland, Christchurch or Queenstown are excellent starting points for your motorhome tour.

Rent a motorhome, discover New Zealand - TUI CAMPER
If you are planning a trip to New Zealand, you should definitely think about doing a camping road trip. If you are traveling through New Zealand in a motorhome, do not stay in the small accommodations where you will be warmly cared for by the hospitable kiwis. In addition, without the big vehicle, you won't immediately look like a tourist and get to know the locals even more easily. New Zealand is divided into a north and a south island, which can also be wonderfully visited separately. If you want to explore both islands during your motorhome holiday in New Zealand, you are forced to rely on the ferry that connects the two parts of the island.
Tumblr media
In the center of the North Island, the monotony takes a break, because here you can deal with the volcanoes. A successful change from green nature. The cities on the North Island (apart from New Plymouth and the larger cities of Auckland and Wellington) make little change. The north island of New Zealand is speckled with green, green and green and white. A green hill with sheep follows the next. If the flights are not available, we offer you the next higher available flight tariff or an alternative travel date. New Zealand is 10 hours ahead of us in European summer time and 12 hours during European winter time. The whole country is in a time zone. All New Zealand Fly & Drive packages can be changed individually! Longer rental periods, shorter rental periods, stopover programs, extension programs for the South Seas and hotels are possible.

Behind it is the Fiorland National Park, where you can admire the spectacular Fjords Milford and Dusky Sounds on foot or by boat.
Many campervan fans rent a motorhome there on the South Island to explore the amazing landscape.
Likewise, at the entrances to campsites, it was often said that the space was not is suitable for campers longer than six meters, or the approach is not suitable for campers.

I will never forget the underground rafting tour, the millions of fireflies form an incredible starry sky. There are not only hills, as you claim. Very nice bays. In the Bay of Islands, I was “stuck” for a day. In this way, you can divide up the daily stages yourself or coordinate with other participants. There is no peer pressure. You determine your own daily routine! If you want, you can also set off from the group on a daily basis and go on an individual discovery tour.

Motorhome routes from Auckland - TUI CAMPER
You will be pleased to find out that parking (even for the larger RVs) is nowhere near as much a headache as it is in the UK or Europe. When traveling in summer and autumn, it makes sense to book the motorhome in advance. Whale watching in Kaikoura has plenty of parking spaces, especially for campers, as is the case at other tourist attractions. Just for information, not only the large mobile homes, but also the 2 bed campers with shower / toilet have a length of 6.40m to 7.10m.

Maximize discounts when renting in Australia & NZ - RV rentals in both Australia and New Zealand often qualify you for discounts when you book vehicles through the same rental company for both countries. This is not the case with all motorhomes without a shower / toilet. When traveling with a motorhome, the factor freedom and independence is clearly in the foreground. A separate chapter on “Motorhome trips with children” also provides specific tips for traveling with the family and answers numerous questions that help families in the planning phase.

This is not the first time we have been with the motorhome and we have learned to park very brazenly (but not in violation of traffic), but even in many places we did not have the means to do so. Allow some time for your arrival at the depot - expect that picking up your motorhome can take an hour or two, as you need to be familiarized with the special features and functions of the vehicle, such as the stove, refrigerator, TV / DVD -Player, the heater, shower, the sink, toilet, how the batteries work and how and where you can empty the wastewater. • Almost all motorhome rental companies allow one-way rentals, so that you can start in Auckland and fly back in Christchurch. Of course, you do not have to own your own motorhome to be able to use spaces for freedom camping in New Zealand. The motorhome is from 2010 and therefore plays in the budget class. In these months, prices for campers and campsites are rising significantly. There are a few routine tasks to do when you have an RV.

Campervans in comparison: the largest motorhome rental companies in New Zealand
We mostly cooked ourselves and rarely went out to eat. For this purpose, we may have chosen Jucy Rentals type Chazer from your stock exchange. I once read that babies under one year old in New Zealand are not allowed to travel in WoMos. However, I no longer find that. 1) Have you ever heard of the "Cheapa Campa" brand or We ask that you visit and read the Safe Driving in New Zealand website. The Waitomo Caves in the Waitomo District enchant with the play of light from their "Glowworms" (not to be confused with the German fireflies). The capital Wellington is already extraordinary, since the Oriental Bay is located in the middle of the urban area, and the city's botanical garden is also well worth seeing. The delightful contrast between rocky mountains of volcanic origin, rippling waterfalls and wonderful beaches is what makes New Zealand's two main islands so attractive. In the north, the often snow-covered Mount Taranaki in Egmont National Park is a popular destination for hikers. The ski areas usually close at the end of September and temperatures can reach up to 19 ° C. Although it is, the air is sometimes cooled by rain showers. This time of year is in the off-season and therefore only a few tourists can be found there. But you can discover New Zealand's beautiful flower landscape and watch the waterfalls. Then you can discover the coast in the north.

To apply for the Working Holiday Visa for New Zealand online you need a passport that is at least valid for the entire trip duration is valid. A valid credit card to pay for the visa (fees are currently NZ $ 245, equivalent to approximately € 150).
In general, you shouldn't bring backpacks or hard-shell cases , but travel bags - you can squeeze them in anywhere. A few packing cubes, lots of bags and suction cups (lighter things hanging on the wall) help to set up even in a small space. I've always kept it that way - and I will do the same in Australia and New Zealand. It's about the lifetime, not the blog.
Hitchhiking isn't your thing?
Because, on the one hand, campers are coveted and quickly booked up, on the other hand, the camper prices in New Zealand are cheaper the earlier you book.
If you want to rent a camper cheaply in New Zealand, you should definitely keep the above points in mind. li >
But also around Christchurch and Queenstown you can expect fascinating routes.
Although summer is already over, it can still be up to 23 ° C by mid-April.
Britz and Maui are a bit more expensive to rent, but ultimately the best option. The major providers such as TUI and DER work with Apollo, which is why it is always offered in travel agencies.

There you can discover the history of New Zealand. In particular, the first settlement and the development to this day are examined.

The only exception to this is if the sudden braking endangers other road users. If you see a double yellow line, you must not overtake. If you start the route in Christchurch, you can swim with dolphins in the nature reserve beforehand. You start your tour by camper through New Zealand in Nelson on the northern tip of the South Island. You should definitely pay a visit to the World of Wearable Art and Classic Cars Museum - sleek vehicles from the 20th century and unique clothing can be admired Britz campervan in this museum. Afterwards, your camper journey takes you through New Zealand to Nelson Lakes National Park.

While some mobile homes are very manageable and small, there are now very generously designed variants with several rooms, a separate kitchen and a common living room.
