It's so fucked up that I started TTWDFGA as a gag fake dating fic for a gym membership and now its a slow burn where Apollo thinks "klavier has no friends and I want to fix that, I want to show him ppl want him in their lives" and Klavier thinks "Apollo has never been shown genuine romantic or physical intimacy and I want to give him a safe place to experience it"

But they're still playing gay chicken

So I've been away from TTWDFGA for so long bc of full time job/family/zine stuff and now I don't know if I even like the characterization or anything about it?

(I went back to read it so I could remember details and felt mortified and couldn't get far into it)

So idk what to do about it but I thought maybe doodling could help, maybe? Kinda like these ones?

i don't even necessarily want you to draw anything from your fic, i just want you to know that every time you update i get sooo excited and start squealing. i think your characterization is really solid, especially apollo swinging between very awkward and very smooth! i really love the moments of casual intimacy, like when klavier and apollo are working out together :)

Hi, I hope this isn't a weird question but at what point in your fic do you have spoilers for SoJ and AAI2? Thank you beforehand

I have more than one fic but I assume you mean ttwdfga? I'll put it under the cut for people who don't want to know anything about the fic before reading:

Aa6 spoilers happen as early as chapter 2 or 3 since that game ( unfortunately ) has Apollo lore in it. The fic, however, takes place before aa6 so it does not have any spoilers for cases that happen in the game. (Like spoiling the 7yg but not any actual cases in aa4. It might spoil some plottwists but not who murdered who)

Chapter 10 begins having spoilers for aai2 in it bc it introduces Sebastian Debeste as a character and his history with other characters.

I've been thinking about ttwdfga nonstop since I read it, and I've wanted to draw something for it but i can't pick which part to doodle from 🙏 is there a certain part of what's published that you've wanted to see art of?

oh wow! i haven't had anyone draw anything from any of my fics uncommissioned, so im very flattered you want to take the time to draw something!

I don't really have any scenes in particular i'd want to see, i'd say. I guess im more interested in what scenes captivate people enough to draw them? like, seeing people's favorites!

i could be on my deathbed and you’d update that fic and i’d still read it with the same joy as i did when i first started playing the games using an emulator on my laptop during math classes that i didn’t need to pass and downloading the old guides for each case as a pdf cause i didn’t have wifi at home.

oh my god thank you :sob: its been hard getting back into writing after not having the time to do it for so long but comments like this help me remember im not the only one who wants to see it finished, and even after like. years of writing now? i find it so shocking!

trying really hard to get some work done on the next chapter. it comes in small bursts!!

finally started reading ttwdfga and argrhrghrgrhrgg i love gay people !!!!!! it reminds me of “running on a treadmill” by oingo boingo which is one of my favorite songs rn, absolutely stellar vibes all around love trans people love gay people yayaya :]

Ohhh, I only know oingo boingo from jojos (hadn't given them a listen) but I gave that song a go and yeah it slaps!!! If I could do animatics/had time I think the song would be a perfect fit for TTWDFGA.

Do you have any more art of Sebastian for your fic, like maybe some of his new and improved "sprites"? Or should we be expecting more Klapollo (which I would not mind in the slightest)

I didn't have anything drawn of sebbie besides the one design I have (I drew it to give myself a clearer picture of what I was invisioning in my head, so describing him in the fic would be more consistent).

When I saw this ask I tried doodling some, like one of him in a pose more indicative of Justine ("his tone almost motherly") or Miles ("with a posture evocative of Miles Edgeworth himself") but I just can't get it right and got really annoyed at myself.

So, if anyone else wants to draw it, go ahead! But I'm just a guy with a bum wrist trying to meet zine deadlines at the moment, sorry 😞
