Just then, a well-dressed couple walked up before the haughty boy could let another remark escape his lips.

"Oh, there you are Brandon. Who are your new friends?" Before Brandon could answer his mother, Olivia spoke up.

"My name's Olivia! This is Montague and Monique. It's nice to meet you."

"Lovely to meet you three. It's nice that our son has made friends already." Brandon could only stay silent in embarrassment while his parents made small talk with his "new friends."
