hello hello! your post got me curious especially since I've been seeing trigun here and there so I'll cave and ask, if you could summarize vashwood, how are they like?

HELLO ANON! if i'll be very honest, summarizing vashwood is so difficult cause they're just so, complex <//3 but in the best way possible cause I love they're dynamic!

although to summarize, imagine you end up meeting someone whose literally the polar opposite of you, stubborn and severely pacifistic to the point that it annoys you.

the two of you get into an argument and then you just threaten said person that you'll bring him horrendous amount of pain and suffering, until he's begging to have his life ended.

Wolfwood looks at him, searching into Vash’s eyes for the right answer to give. There are plenty his mind suggests, but it’s all the wrong ones and he can’t bring himself to utter any. So all he does is shrug. “It’s like I said, Spikey.”

Vash groans, he shifts some where he sits until he’s kneeling and leaning closer to Wolfwood, eyes impossibly wide behind his shades. “But aren’t you?”

#its funny to think that KNIVES is the one thats so different from other plants as opposed to vash #but theres some hints like his coloring as tesla and vash have the same and its knives whose a bit of an outlier #i wonder if when we see the earth independants they'll have vash and teslas coloring too #maybe making knives feel even more isolated #actually no now that i think about it it makes sense #if the twins are legitimately 1 plant in 2 bodies then it makes sense that knives would be the production aspect #and vash the connection aspect

The song Vash hums is the song Knives is always playing on the piano!! The song Vash knows from the Plant Core, the song all Plants (except Knives) knows and lets them communicate!! Knives has been trying to recreate the song with the piano because he’s disconnected from the higher plane and cant communicate with Dependent Plants like Vash!!!

If I had a nickel for everytime I found a VW fic where they met as EoM captives, I'd have two nickels. Not a lot, but it's happened twice. Unlike the prev fic, this is a world where Vash stayed with Knives, never becoming the Stampede. However, this means he meets a WW who's yet to hit cynicism rock-bottom. Vash becomes WW's saint & he in turn becomes Vash's salvation.
