Tokyo Autumn Family Trip 2023 - Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ginza

During my family's trip to Tokyo, we managed to visit a couple of places that we simple adore:

1. Ningyocho Imahan (Sukiyaki) - Located in Shinjuku Takashimaya.

2. Torahebi Coffee - Located in Shibuya Parco.

3. Pokemon Center, Nintendo Store, and JUMP Store - Located in Shibuya Parco.

4. TsuruTonTan UDON NOODLE Brasserie - Located in Shibuya Scramble Square.

5. Bills Japan - Located in Ginza.

Baby Lisa had so much fun in Tokyo, and we cannot wait to return to the city to discover more delicious gems!

Exploring Yokohama and Shibuya

After a long week of work, my friends recommended that I recharge myself with a relaxing onsen experience at Yokohama Manyo Club.

Once you register yourself at the counter, you can take your pick of your attire at the onsen club before taking a dip in the pool and enjoying various facilities such as a manga library, an amusement park, and various food and drinks outlets.

Feeling energized, I took a leisurely stroll to Yokohama Chinatown to check out the latest food items that are in demand.

Once I arrived at Yokohama Chinatown, I was immediately attracted to 王府井 横浜中華街本店 to savour its famous xiaolongbao which was overflowing with juices the moment you bite into them.

With Yokohama Chinatown filled with mostly Chinese cuisine, bubble tea stores, and xiaolongbao, I decided to make my way back to Shibuya Scramble Square to check out the latest restaurants in town.

For lunch, I found myself back at TsuruTonTan to savor more of its delicious udon.

Tea time was spent at Ocha Room Ashita as I took a rest with a beautiful bowl of matcha.  

As I was leaving the building , I walked past Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse and I could not resist indulging in a rich chocolate ice cream cone.

Before returning to Singapore, I had to experience one of the best kaiten sushi in Tokyo at 回転寿司 根室花まる. Though the wait can be long, the dining experience is worth it as you indulge in fresh produce prepared with care and precision. I would highly recommend it if you are visiting Tokyo and have a couple of hours to spare to get one of the best meals that you can find in town.

While waiting for my midnight flight back to Singapore, I was able to take a leisurely stroll to admire the beautiful Christmas decorations around Haneda Airport.

And with that, I conclude my whirlwind two week business trip as I adjust back to my typical busy work schedule while dreaming of my next foodie adventure.
