The difference between Junko and Tsumugi is this:
Junko destroyed the world.
Tsumugi created it.
#musings#danganronpa#drv3#junko enoshima#tsumugi shirogane#junko is more than fine with seeing the world burn because it means that she feels something - even if that something is despair#junko's destruction is selfish but it's the selfishness of needing to /feel/#tsumugi doesn't want to see the world burn; she's out here to tell a story with her human barbie dolls#tsumugi's creation is arguably self/less/ because she's doing all of this to share it with the /real/ people /out there/#both are gifts to some extent#but they aren't the same#junko knows exactly what she's doing to the players of her game; that's the point; it's all ABOUT the people playing it#tsumugi deludes herself with her fiction; it's not about the players so much as it is the audience; the players just serve a function#even tsumugi's /destruction/ is arguably an act of /creation/ because it is in service to the narrative that she is /actively creating/#they aren't the same!
