Just rewatched the York new city arc and I couldnt help but get the feeling that Chrollo was super intrigued by Neon and her philosophy of why she wanted to become a Fortune teller I bet these two could've had an interesting friendship...if he didnt karate chop her neck

Well some of it was him coaxing her into revealing the conditions that allows him to steal her ability. But Chrollo finds a lot of things interesting. It’s been mentioned that he would admire the items he stole before selling them on, and he’s always engrossed in that book of his -Machi suggested stealing Ancient texts because he likes them. He seems to enjoy listening to people’s thoughts and opinions and keenly listens to what they say. So maybe…

Was I the only one who was under the impression that Kurapika has taken a dark turn and that he was the only main cast member who hasn't really resolved anything.

I think that was one of the most highlighted points actually

In my opinion. that gif of the opening where you see Pariston is a perfect representation of his character. with the dark shading representing his darker side then glowing with bright colours and sparkles. to show his facade.

Wouldn’t disagree with you there. There’s a sensical duality to Pariston, yes he is cheery and smiley and sparkles but he is also dark and manipulative and conniving.

What would you say your favourite nen classification is? I find myself going into the specialist category in terms of my personality

In order of favourite it’d probably be Specialist, Transmuter, Conjurer, Manipulator, then Enhancer and Emitter equally at the bottom. 

In terms of personality types, I lean towards Transmuter or Specialist.
