For everyone new here today is my beloved annual tradition of watching my favorite movie (The Sound of Music) on cable television when they air it on abc while I constantly complain about the commercials and the fact that it is NOT a Christmas movie so it shouldn't even be annually aired in December. Even tho i can and do watch it whenever I want without commercials. Doesn't matter. It's tradition.

Lol when they were filming the post Anschluss scene of the nazis marching through the city with the huge swastika flag flying the citizens of Salzburg were like "we don't want you hanging that flag for your movie!!!!!" And the directors/producers were like "ok well ig we could just use the real footage of your real president welcoming real Hitler into your country" and then they stopped complaining 💀

When the little "#SoundOfMusic" pops up at the bottom of the screen I always feel so left out bc how many people actually have the urge to live tweet tsom. I do. But not Twitter. I liveBLOG. And I don't even use #SoundOfMusic i use #the sound of music bc that's the actual name of the movie and Tumblr lets me put spaces in tags 😤
