TSAMU YEAR 1, 2, 3, & 4.

Well, before i post my tsamu experience yesterday. Just a short flashback or story about the 4-peat of this Summer Meet Up.

2013 - This year was the first TSAMU event in the history of tumblr. And i’m proud to say that I was there. As I remembered, it’s also a Amazing Race theme like. I was a Facilitator that time with my KADA. (HUGKADA) I remember that my station is catching the egg. HAHAHA! Different bloggers  went and gather to this event to make some new friends to meet their friends, meet the bloggers of their dream  and most specially is to make some FUN. The venue is full of different bloggers. This year, i’m still active on tumblr. I still blog and write long post. And still active on joining meet ups. _

2014 -This year, I’m getting a bit Inactive because after graduating from college I decided to find work, and on April 2014, I was hired at Project Pie. Even though I’m a bit busy with my work i still manage to have time in blogging. 1 month from that hiring scenario is the TSAMU. This year, I’m not a facilitator anymore because of that busy sched of mine, but i still went to this event(TSAMU2014) But unfortunately I was late that time.The event was effin’ done.I miss the FUN HAHA! well, my friends told me that in was invaded again with different Bloggers. So i decided to meet my tumblr friends and hang out with them.

2015 - Same scenario with 2014, This year, I’m totally out of tumblr. I mean i was really in INACTIVE mode.haha i was not consistent. I’m really busy with my work. I was late again. this year OREO sponsored the event. But lucky me, the event was not yet done. Different Bloggers gather again for this Tumblr Summer Amazing Meet Up. I’m not that updated with the plans but i guess bloggers enjoyed the fun. Specially the prizes that oreo gave to the winners.

2016 - This year, well this one is the best, 2nd is the 2013 event. lol, maybe 2013 and 2016 is the only year that i attended. Again, I’m a bit back on track. I still manage to blog again. But not totally active. I attend this year TSAMU to really meet my tumblr friends coz I MISS them. So this time, I’m not a facilitator, but a blogger. Blogger that will meet new faces of tumblristas. And to experience what a true summer meet up is all about. I participate on the Games (Amazing Race theme again) It was FUN. I really enjoyed my day. I feel that i was a newbie again. I can still feel the nervousness of introducing yourself to you co-bloggers. Haha! Kudos to Cha, Mike and Jake! Still TSAMU is the best meet up ever. Till next year.

Why am I always on the side?

I just want to share these pictures taken by people whom I really don’t know, but whoever they are, I give them all the credits for taking these shots even though they already put watermarks.

Anyway, 2013 was when TSAMU first started and I’m happy to be part of it together with my few tumblr friends before. I actually had no idea that this meetup or mu as Tumblristas usually say will give me such enjoyment, though I only had like 10+ acquaintances that time. Maybe because I’m quite shy to socialize but still it was fun, at least for me.

I just remember that time, I was exchanging words with Kuya Jake, one of the organizers, when someone shouted for a group photo op. And it’s just funny cos we ended up talking to each other while looking at like 10+ cams shooting all of the attendees.

Then, the next year, TSAMU 2014, I also participated since most of my friends attended again too. Chitchats, meeting old friends and familiar faces. Games. And chitchats again. That time, I could say that there were like 15+ addition in my acquaintances. And that is something for me, establishing rapport with people I don’t know personally, only their urls, was a challenge. And gladly, I survived it. Maybe one of the perks of being a Comm stud. This is funny but yea it works.

And I am still on the side, well at least, was on the other side. Lol

Last TSAMU 2015, believe me I was there too even though I’m not active anymore. It was the #PlayWithOreo thingy, right? Lol (That ‘thingy’ had me). As what Sace once posted, college killed our tumblr life. It’s true but it’s not that bad for me because we (my tumblr batchmates) maybe realized that there’s still life outside Tumblr. But don’t get me wrong, I got inactive not because I don’t know and I don’t like the new batches of Tumblristas and other stereotyping shiz of the old batches.. It’s just that I chose that. I chose to explore other things outside this world. Yea, it was actually another world for me where most people are really wonderful and have something special.

I can’t find the group pic of last year’s TSAMU and as far as I remember, I’m not there because we had something to do that time that’s why my friends and I left the event early. Lol. A mixed good and bad news for me cos at least I’m not on the side anymore.

And now, TSAMU 2016, I heard it will be big but in different location now. Sounds fun! Too sad to say that I can’t come this time. I still don’t know actually, but since tumblr buddies have no plans to attend so yea. Enjoy peeps!

Hm the thing why I shared this is because while browsing the tags and looking at the pictures and shared experiences, I found myself smiling, maybe because I miss the people I am with those times, or maybe because I felt glad again to know that those urls are still my friends up until now, and maybe because they are all from this set world, from Tumblr.

PS: TSAMU is one of the best meetups here in PH so if you haven’t attended any TSAMU, try now. I’m not one of the organizers, I am one of the peeps who enjoyed it.

Lastly, I still don’t know why am I always on the side in every group photo.

I saw Jake’s post about previous TSAMUs and I don’t know if I should be telling this, but I am freaking emotional right now and I am almost in the verge of my tears.

I can still remember, that was 2012 when Mike and I decided to organized a meetup in MoA and it was the meetup where I first met Jake. It feels like it was just a week ago and with just a snap, its TSAMU’s 5th year already. And here we are, still willing to give our all to make TSAMU happen. Hooray! Hahaha!  Of course, I’am very grateful as well to all the facilitators who we’re able to worked with. They are awesome. They are one of the reasons why TSAMU is successful. Every year is a blast!

So, to Mike and Jake, my very supportive co-organizers, thank you for being constant in my life. It’s silly how I was truly affected by the two of you, by how it magically makes the simplest moments with you enough and worth the while. And to wherever we are headed, I’am so damn ready for it. More TSAMUs to come!

Okay, I’m sorry for being cheesy right now and emo shit at the same time. I just cant help it. Haha

Bigla kong namiss yung mga kasabay ko nung TSAMU hayy. Mga kasabay ko noon sa KFC Monumento sila Chamx, Mika, Kier, Yana, Isis, Pau, Ivan, Sam, Keith, Sean Ate Seyn, Kuya JC di ko kilala yung iba zz. HAHA. Yung nag-gagala kami sa Chinese Garden tapos biglang may iba na pala kaming mga kagrupo. Haha! Sila Nica, Allan, Kuya San, Raven, Shawn, etc. Di ko na naman kilala yung iba. Basta usap usap ganon. Ang saya rin. Pero totoo nga na kapag meet up, mao-OP ka kapag wala kang kakilala hayzz. I mean, kapag yung doon ka palang hahanap ng kakilala parang ganoon. Kasi may mga grupo na rin sila eh. Pero nasasayo naman yun kung magpapaOP ka diba. Kitakits mamaya sa Paco Park! :)
