WHOOOOOOOO SAMS Au based off a detail I noticed and thought was neat and I never see people talk about it-- "In a total lunar eclipse, the entire Moon falls within the darkest part of Earth's shadow, called the umbra. When the Moon is within the umbra, it will turn a reddish hue. Lunar eclipses are sometimes called “Blood Moons” because of this phenomenon."

Welcome to the Triplets AU!

in this universe, instead of Eclipse making the Bloodmoon twins and Lunar separately, they were accidentally created as triplets in one body, Lunar being the more "emotional and rational" of the three, his code not really feeling the high blood drive the other two felt. When Eclipse needed to continue his plans on getting Moon out of the picture, he separated Lunar's code from the the other two, Eclipse isolating and storing away any memory the three had of each other to avoid complicating the plans further. The drawings shown above is how Lunar looked mentally/would have looked up if they had been split up before getting his code taken away from them. Things continue as normal in canon, but things feel off. Lunar, after getting separated from Moon, feels awkward without someone in his head with him. He can't pinpoint why and just takes it as having a normal feeling of loneliness, leading into his quick attachments with Moon, Sun, and others. throughout his time with them, he starts finding out his high tolerance for seeing blood, which he also had no explanation for. The times Lunar and the Bloodmoon "Twins" run into each other, it's a bit more awkward with the heavy feeling of familiarity between them, though with no memories, things where tense and the Bloodmoon "twins" continued their tasks, ignoring how wrong it seemed to hurt Lunar. One way or other later on, Lunar and the "twins" find the truth and confront Eclipse, who at first is reluctant to explain the truth, both out of spite for Lunar betraying him and also fearing Bloodmoon murking him, but it didn't take him long to fold. After some explanation, returning their memories, A promise of an attempted redemption for Eclipse, and some nanomachines, the triplets were properly reunited, though they are currently still struggling to re-regulate themselves with different experiences they've gone through while separated (But they missed each other dearly, so they're making it work!) Hmmm, think I'll use this to ramble about the existing characters in my DCA AU

For starters, it's not a TSAMS au and any TSAMS characters i draw in the au are purely for fun and not actually part of the au. Any characters with the same name aren't the characters from the show, they're my ver of OCs off the concepts of what they're named after.

Long post warning

The characters that'll be the focus of the au, especially when I get to making the ask comic for it, will be (in order of expected most focus- may change depending on how it goes)

Sun, Moon, Y/N, Sergio, the star triplets, Solar Eclipse, and Lunar Eclipse.

Y/N is the new manager-thing for the daycare, haven't figured out what the title is exactly but they'll be in charge of changes to the daycare and the attendants. They supervise the daycare and can choose to help out with daycare work themself but it's not what they're paid for. They'd be having a lot of personal time with Sun and Moon due to needing to see what may need upgrades or not as they're now in charge of finding out what renovations are needed for the daycare.

Sun is the tired, kinda grumpy, anxious, overdramatic, highly sassy and main worker of the daycare. For reasons the y/n knows yet, the lights are usually on and only dimmed slightly for nap times. Sun usually gets bombarded with children and their paints and games but is always smiling until the hours are over.

Moon is the reclusive, giggly, kind of playful, yet not as known about one. Something seems to be wrong, it's hard to say what but he doesn't like leaving the dark even if their new bodies won't change.

Sergio is the security guard who Y/N tends to see around often, mostly sleeping but they seem pretty well intentioned, just overworked by their own will. It kind of seems like he's been tasked with watching over you more than the mall but it seems to just be him keeping an eye out for you by choice.

The star triplets, scampering little things. They're like rats and kids themselves at the same time! They're like helpy but specifically for daycare work, dunno why Sun hates them so much. There's three as the title implies, Spica, Tauri, and Orion, and they have little star patches and buttons on them to let you know which order they come in. They're all very different.

Solar Eclipse? I think that's a bug honestly, don't know why the reprogrammed animatronics are having this issue, it's not even just the DCAs anymore.

TSAMS Continuity AU Family Tree Thing

[Below is a clean version, Nicolas I haven't figured out how and when to introduce him into the story. In my main general FNAF SB AU, he's Monty's older twin brother. I'm unsure if Millie is Monty's twin in canon so I could introduce Nicolas as the older triplet, but either way in the TSAMS Continuity AU he's still Monty's older twin.]

Me and my friend talking about how Triplets!Eclipse and Umbra!Eclipse would interact and honestly? 99% of the people Triplets AU would make a plan to jump him because "WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR SOUL GOAL RN IS TO KILL YOUR BROTHERS???"

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH US- WHY ARE WE BLUE??" Bloodmoon use to be much more red thanks to Lunar and Harvest 2v1ing Reaper in the red and blue clothing thoughts, but being reunited after how much lunar has changed color wise? It's lead them to be... more blues and purples. Needless to say, Harvest feels betrayed, Lunar likes blues more than reds and Reaper is having a great time with the color shifts ^^

Random little fact: Lunar has only really had lemon flavored candy while Reaper and Harvest have never really properly had fruits in general. So yeah, being given a straight up lemon, they're gonna try eating it like an apple and not have a good time lmao

Heres some Triplet AU character facts for you guys to chew on and think about since I may not be able to get a lot of art out today! - Sun's current body is the same body they had before him and Moon separated! So technically, Sun could shift to look like Moon's old design, but hasn't really had a reason too since Moon, despite his slight frustration with the kids, still does his part of the daycare job. - This is also an explanation for his chest symbol having a crescent moon in it instead of it just being a normal sun symbol

-Old Moon in a small technically sense is still around, but not really. New moon is in full control of the body, but has a tendency to spiral a bit easily, so Old Moon is able to simply guide New moon out of those spirals when others can't, as well as influence him to not follow down the same path he went down, which is more something along the lines of "That sounds like something I would do. Maybe you shouldn't do that-". But nothing really more than that. Old moon can't take control or "talk" to anyone outside of New Moon. Just a simple guide making sure New Moon treats their family right. - This is the explanation for Moon's Blue/Red heterochromia! as a small sign that Old Moon is still there

-Though It's hard to see, Bloodmoon has stars in all their eyes! not just Lunar's eye! While fused together, the Star power runs through all of them, giving Harvest and Reaper both a small bit of star power as well when they split up, but it is not as strong as Lunar's. No, none of the astral bodies are happy about this.

"Comfort" and processing

Bloodmoon leaning to trust Crescent again was difficult. Even with all the help and genuinely wanting to change and get better, I would probably say it took MONTHS before Bloodmoon hugged him. And even then, the picture above is how their first hug went.

Sure, the triplets and Crescent are doing MUCH better nowadays, but they still have their moments. And Crescent is very aware how much they still have to make up for his fuck ups.

Angst aside though!!! Just a heads up I will be fairly inactive this week due to family stuff! Maybe I'll post some traditional art, we'll see- doodle requests are still open, so if you guys want more fluff doodles, let me know!

Memory overload

It would be so sweet to say that Bloodmoon first becoming one again went happily and smoothly, but spending so much time apart, having gone through so many different things without the comfort of the other-- it can be a lot for the processer to adjust to. Especially if one of the three is very emotional and prone to panic attacks if overwhelmed. It also sucks when most of your trauma is from the person who is currently helping you

Welp, finally got Eclipse's design done- simple, but he's pretty chill with that at the moment.(Note: Yes, he got a shirt with a misprint of Lunar's name because he thought it was funny (Totally not because I misspelled it and thought it was too funny to change)) He's not really looking for problems and is more focused on trying to rebuild his relationship with the triplets, which is working slowly, but surely. He's still a bit of an asshole to everyone else though- He still need to work on that. He's not exactly trying to take over the world anymore? Monty has the star, so their not much he can do other than reluctantly help here and there.
