This one is a bit later than the last was but I’ve been a little busy. Euphéme is my OC for this post. She is not part of the Agreste bunch but since this was mostly them I decided to call the post that :) I gave Nathalie a hair cut and I really like it. I’m also super happy with Emilie and Amelie. Hello
I know I’ve disappeared from here, I’m sorry. I haven’t felt good, I still don’t feel good and my mood swings like a rollercoaster. When I feel better I’ll come back to tumblr, till now I have a couple of updates.

Today I’ve uploaded my first mermaid tail converted for kids and toddlers and the Waitress Set on TSR. They are in the pending tab and still waiting for approval. I’ll create the posts with the links for download if they are accepted, but this doesn’t mean I’ll be completely back to this site for that time, I just want to give you an easy way to download without looking for them somewhere.
I’ve kept working on Gabriel Set, I’ve made the glasses completely from scratch, that’s why the back looks so thin (I’ve messed up on the mesh and noticed too late). They clip with the hair because of the hair volume, not the head. The lenses are slightly white to make at least their presence known since I wasn’t able to make them reflect light.

Not really a relevant update but I’ve converted the poses for CAS and took better screenshots so that now I’ have a banner pic for my accounts. (poses are mirrored because that’s how CAS works)

Gabriel Agreste Set is finished, I just need to finalize it (LODs, previews, thumbnails and probably changing the texture of the neck part because I don’t like it but I don’t know if it’s just CAS lights).
As you can see I made a glowing version of the miraculous. I’m trying to make a white-fading-pink emission map to match more the one in the show, in any case this is the speed of the pulsing (in Sandboy isn’t showed, if you remember other episodes where it appears let me know).

I’ve noticed for the position I’ve used the only single frame where it was different, but considering it’s where HM miraculous is, I’m not going to change it (same goes for QB pin, if you noticed the position changes depending on the frame).
PS: don’t use the scarf without this top, it’s going to look extremely odd.

I’ve made Gabriel’s top mesh. It took me a day, like the old CN times. And now I just want to go for a walk but it’s 11pm. Anyway, yay, the mesh is complete with everything, it has the uvs and it seems to work fine with weights in blender. The next days I need to do the texture (sigh), normal, specular and test in game (sigh sigh).
I put the pants, shoes and glasses just to have a general idea in blender. I think it resembles Gabriel’s outfit enough? I needed to change some parts (around the neck, the bottom, etc) because it’s low poly and I didn’t want to risk messing up the uv_1 or weights.
About the uv_0, to make it I had to merge all the uvs of the Miraculous sets I made to understand where to place the extra parts. Turns out that while making the sets I messed something up. Since I started with the project of making every villain I’ve always left a space in the bottom right to place Despair Bear texture “just in case” (the texture for when he’s attached to the leg). The space is still there, BUT just merging I noticed that both the yoyo and Marinette’s purse take a lot of place and they can’t be used with some shoes and bottom/outfits (for example the waitress one, but other outfits and shoes in general too). I’ve also took the chance to look at the Aqua and Ice power ups suits, expecially LB. Turns out I can’t reuse basically anything. I have to make a new yoyo, or at least part of it, and completely change the uv_0 and so the texture. There are a lot of details in those suits and the maps in TS4 are limited. For example, I need to use extra space for the decorations (they are actually 3D), the belt (both LB and CN), LB yoyo (that’ll probably move in a ring/bracelet space as CN’s baton so I can avoid future problems). I really have no idea why I made the yoyo like this (I can try to understand the purse, but no the yoyo), I guess it’s because it was the first set and I had no idea about the power ups? Or not a real idea? And I had very little “knowledge” on the whole project. All of this to say: in the future sets, if something comes from other packs, it’s going to be linked in the recommend tab of TSR (and S4S/tumblr post), if it’s not there it means it has to be downloaded with the new set (even if it’s similar to the old one, for example the yoyo!). Idk how many are going to be interested in this wall of text, but it’s more a reminder for me too I gess.
Almost forgot! The scarf/inactive miraculous are going to be in the necklace category, so that they can both be used with the top. (At this point I don’t even know if someone cares for Gabriel’s inactive miraculous, but it kinda became a must in my sets..and when I started making them, one of the reason I wanted proper miraculous sets was for storytelling lol)

Gabriel has extremely mirrored lifless eyes (I had to make them symmetrical in TS4 and add more life due to how the eyes are made in game).

Actually, LB belt (in the aqua one too) is a transparent semisphere and the ladybug logo is underneath it. But since me and alpha don’t get along well together in game, it’s going to be a textured semisphere with a “fake” glass texture when time comes.

There aren’t spots where they should be. Considering all the mistakes in these costumes, I assume CN ring is normal and not neon green (it bugged me a lot when I first watched Syren). And yep, Ice CN hair are lighter, Aqua LB are fluo and Ice are darker (I’ve checked them in the transformation sequences that should have the same light always).

Hello, sorry for disappearing (again). I didn’t go through notification yet (around 200 to check) so sorry if I haven’t answered you, I’ll try to go through them these days, it could be today or the end of the week, I just need to find the “will” to do so (and sorry if I miss some in the process, I check them through my phone but the app is not always working as it should).
Anyway, here’s Gabriel progress, the jacket is completely finished and works decently with bodymorph (I’ve tested a new technique to make it and it seems to work better than the previous sets). There are still some distortions with extreme bodymorph. The mesh is 50% by EA and 50% by me (in terms of modifying/adding things). The texture is by me (except for the gilet fabric pattern) and tbh I can see there’s some progress from my previous ones.
There are some distortions/artifacts in the texture here and there because the details are small and the polycount is low. As always, I tried my best. The neck looks kinda odd because the lights in CAS are strong on the upper front and the colors are light. It should look less blinding in live mode, in any case there’s going to be the scarf/miraculous in there (the only things I need to do next). I have no idea if the color of the shoes is okay with the ones of the jacket, the only thing I’m sure in the show they are not identical. But finding references of Gabriel in there with neutral light is barely impossible (and there are no official renders, seriously ZAG? Renders of random akumas but no Gabriel?!), so I’ll leave them like this. The gilet shine similar to the show and I love it. About the gilet expecially, I know the proportions are kinda odd but the uv_0 was a mess and I didn’t wanted to redo half of the mesh when I already had the rest of the texture ready.

IMPORTANT: I consider Gabriel the final Miraculous Set of my first wave (since I had planned to finish it in December: a year). The second wave will be Queen Bee-Chloé-Rena Rouge-Alya-Carapace-Nino (third AquaLB-AquaCN-IceLB-IceCN-Mayura-Nathalie depending on what’s going to happen in the show) and I’m not going to start right after Gabriel. I KNOW you’re waiting more for QB than Gabriel, I know and it breaks my heart to pause this project, but I really really need to pass my exams. It’s already May and I realised as usual I spent too much time on the sims and not enough on studying. So I have to pause, for real this time, hopefully just till the end of July. Along with Gabriel I just have another project I’m working on that I want to finish (it’s a build, not related to miraculous) and after that I’m not going to spend any other time on big projects (K/DA included) till this summer. I’m sorry, if I could decide between studying and continuing my sets you know my answer, but I can’t afford to delay university even more. This said, I’ve instagram now (due to reasons), I’ll probably post old CCs previews and edits along with the future new ones, username: aleniksimmer.

I feel bad posting this because it doesn’t speak Gabriel Agreste enough to me.
I know I’m not doing hair strand by strand (I’m not able to at the moment and I don’t even have enough time to learn how to and to study each character’s hairstyle), I just give them the “general idea” for the character (main example is CN where I just went for the “messy mop” instead of “banana hair”), but with this one I don’t know. The shape of the show model can’t be recreate in TS4, it’s very particular, very long, and with way more “manipulation points” than the one in TS. The shape of the face also influences how the hair looks. Here I didn’t have “enough space” to add all the details or the shapes, I’ve just used as usual EA meshes and blend them together (even if it has been a massive work for this one, even for the uv_0). I went for the “dracula” hairline, long on top and short on the back, styled. If you think about the hairstyle itself it’s odd, like he has this very long hair on the top/front but very short on the back/sides, and with EA textures (and not the tecnique they use in the show, which I don’t know how it’s called) it’s way more odd.
These are most likely the hair that are going to be in the Set, but you are not forced to use them (and I’m glad about it because I’m not pleased with the result). I’m not going to redo them, I’m not going to paint the texture from scratch and adapt it to 18 EA colours because I don’t have time nor the will (and if I do it by myself they aren’t going to look like EA in the end).
Known issues: -if you raise the eyebrows to the extreme the V hairline s going to change shape (no way of fixing this, already tried with vertex paint) -between the hair and the skin on the front left top corner there’s a darker spot (I can’t fix it, there’s probably an internal edge/face but I can’t find it) -with extreme muscolar body morph the neck part is going to distort a little (some EA meshes do the same) -the textures don’t always matches between the short and the long hair (and you only have to blame EA because I’ve used their textures) -the glasses clip on the sides (I have to reduce the volume there a little, expecially where they touch the skin)
The eyes look fine. Blame the show for eyebrows discoloration, I sticked to canon. Gabriel hair peak isn’t perfectly centered.

Last but important note: I want to thank the people who contacted me during my breakdown last week. Thanks for the suggestions, if it wasn’t for you I would have passed a much worse time. In the end I managed to threw away most of the tension through walking, listening to music, venting and writing everything that I bottled up in a Word page. I feel better now :)

7 main sets, 53 (more or less) pieces of CC, a year and a half (roughly) later.
I realised that during August my inspiration for Miraculous CCs drop (as it happened last year). Last year I thought it was due to the delayed episodes, but due to it’s reapparance I just think that during the summer pause of the channels, my brain can finally “breath” since I spend the rest of the year waiting and be excited for the episodes. My mind is just “No, girl, chill. Take a f vacation from your big beloved project”.
Anyway, I made all the previews (even the single piece ones required for TSR not showed here). I just need to write the info sheet and upload on TSR but I don’t really feel like writing tonight, so hopefully tomorrow.
