i understand that not everyone is autistic about avatar but a thing that drives me nuts is when merch is wrong

so they didn't even bother to put katara on the left design but what makes it even worse is that the symbol for the water tribe is the one one the left down here

it has both the moon and the ocean because that's the water tribe's whole shit. and the symbol on the right, the one they are using on both shirts, is the symbol for waterbending. it has those fun swirls that match the other three bending symbols (i assume to show that you are manipulating the element in question)

it doesn't really matter if you show the rest of them with either symbol because they are both benders and from their respective nations. sokka however is NOTORIOUSLY not a fucking bender, it's half his goddamn character arc and if you weren't so worried about not putting a ~girl~ on a shirt you wouldn't be out here looking fucking stupid like this

I am once again saying: fuck my workplace. After telling me to find another job, but then swearing up, down, and sideways that there wasn’t a deadline or need for urgency to that not-firing—and after a week of “we’re all in this together to organize harder and do the work”—guess who just got an email wanting to know how my interview went and what the potential new job’s timeline was for hiring and then when I said it went well but I hadn’t heard anything yet, told me that I needed to find out to let them know 🙄
