this is me casually kicking even more completely unnecessary angst on to luis
#tryna iron out my headcanons abt his past bc i have some that contradict each other lmao#and then got the idea that he started going by luis serra and mostly dropped navarro from his name bc#right after his grandfather died he was rlly upset and it turned into irrational anger. like he blamed his grandfather for doing smth stupid#which led to luis having to go thru life alone#so he was like fuck him i dont want his name#eventually he realized how irrational it was of him#but he had been going by luis serra long enough that it was too big a part of his identity to just give up#so he just continues to go by it with a lil bit of guilt in the back of his head for how he unfairly rejected his grandfather :)))#why do i luv making him suffer so much
